Warning/head's up: please do not repost my art on other internet sights or use her for face claims.

I had drawn her attempting to use my actual face while making hair, so being said i don't feel all that comfortable allowing other's or others in general who are essentially planning to use my face without my knowledge and consent for a visual description of a character they have in mind while writing fanfics or reality shifting to a DR.

I could be very off on the design aspect of her pattern, or just wrong in general. Which is very understandable and all, since i was attempting to mimic a tiger shark pattern.

Anyways, I jumped the bandwagon of making a few na'vi characters and a avatar character.

This character i drew is meant to represent me in a way, I wasn't certain if i wanted to pick a more inland living na'vi like the omaticaya clan or another clan. So when avatar the way of water dropped and i seen the metkayina i fell in love all over again, so when i was making her i opted to go for a metkayina na'vi.

I did this bc i love the ocean, but i also respectfully fear the ocean as well since there's not much we know about it despite constantly exploring the water.

Adding onto this, i've seen one too many horror stories of ships and planes being lost at sea, watching those documentaries showing those ship wrecks have always put me on edge. It's always felt, unnatural and wrong in many ways.

Not really my best work, but again i tried my best given that i was inspired to go for stripes like a tiger shark which i likely failed at doing.

Doing a color palette was a pain, so was the pattern designing and brushes needed to do this.

This is my Metkayina Na'vi! Twenty years old, height wise she stands just a lil bit under ronals eye's if you want a comparison. Sad her bio parent's aren't alive, killing by sky people and left for dead. Luckily she was found and fostered by a free roam forest na'vi woman and a female avatar the na'vi woman claims as her sister. The na'vi woman acted as her mother while the avatar acted as her aunt, her biological mother has a brother who's still alive, just like his niece he bares a tiger shark looking pattern.

Her misfit family lives with the metkayina clan, the feathers behind her ears are inspired by her foster mom and aunt's ikran. At a early age she adored the ikran and wanted to bond with one herself, which she did when she had completed her ceremonies to be seen as a adult in the clan.

Her ikran is named Phoenix, a name idea given by her dream walker aunt that was very fitting for the lava colored looking ikran. Phoenix is very easily irritated by other na'vi, only exception's of Phoenix's temper and overall just being a menace to society is her rider, her rider's family and childern.

"My Phoenix aggressive? Nooo! She's a total sweetheart with my family and i!"

Now onwards, this lil lady is a free spirit. Likes marching to the beat of her own drum, so she is sort of like the village crazy lady in a sense.

Which is a given when her adult gaurdians are her uncle, a forest dwelling Na'vi acting as her mom and dreamwalker who had became one of the people having discarded her human body in favor of her avatar who now acts as an aunt.

Their little family traditions are weird, but their happy and enjoy their way of living with the clan.

She's a understanding and open minded woman, but she's not naive or stupid when her gut feeling kicks in regarding the select few sky people who stayed behind after having helped fight against destroying the tree of souls or those who have came back to Pandora once more she listen's to her instincts when it comes to those people.

Absolutely HATES the scent that clings to the avatars fresh out of the labs, the chemical smell is very awful and cause sneezing fits on occasions for her. Took many years for her aunt's chemical smelling scent to fade and become more natural and less assaulting on her senses.

I've yet figured out her role in the clan, but she is a adult in the eyes of the metkayina by traditios and ceremonies, thus marking her as someone that can contribute to the clan's welfare. Same with her tulkan spirit sister, ilu and skimwing. I have also yet to name or draw her uncle, foster mom and aunt as of yet so yeah. Writer block and art block's suck.

28 NOV - 02 DEC 2022

SoooooOOOOOOooooOoOOooO many cute things happened this week 🥰🥰 although I cant remember much, I'll do my best to remember.

On Monday, we had a 306 final so I feel like we didnt interact much in the morning since a bunch of us would go to school early to cram. All I remember is that we started hanging out in each other's cars before we went home. We'd just hug a whole lot even tho we have very little space to cuddle, we make it work 😂 I waited for him to ask if we could kiss this time. It was always so hard to leave bc I just wanted to hold him all the time 🥺 I JUST REMEMBEREDDDD we were sitting in my car and noticed one of our classmates were still at school bc he procrastinated to work on his lab report, and we didnt want him to catch us being together (plus it was my previous crush lmfaooo) so we decided to drive to the nearby park and we hugged a whole lot. He pulled me into the passenger seat

The next day we actually had our lecture on zoom unfortunately 🙄 we started getting a lot of snow this week. We just had 405, then we went to eat out with one of our classmates since he suggested. It was a pretty chill hangout, I got omurice 😋 we actually skipped 466 bc we forgot 🤣 our friend dropped us off at the parking lot bc we told him that we were just gonna go home, but after he left we actually went to go check out this lil local store near our school. There wasnt much but the lady sells candy for cheap to the neighborhood kids 🥺 We ended up buying the same hichew bars without knowing 🤣

I go by Fany & she/her -- it’s been a looong time since I rped so honestly pretty excited to be here and get this muse on the road :> no lie it’ll probably take me a bit to adjust and get in the groove of things so forgive my extra slowness but I’d love to plot n chat with all of you peeps like actually please lets !! do have a profile page up you’re free to check ( still being worked on shh ), and a rules page that’s really just more an info dump about rping with this mun & muse and some stuff about me in general if you’re curious ye

don’t have any plots up for grabs sadly, yet, but brainstorming is much welcome

here’s some tidbits about muse that might be helpful in the meanwhile tho ;

to start off, where she actually comes from;

From where her lineage diverged the Gwan bloodline has notoriously been known as very powerful divination magick practitioners within the Kyegeum house

alongside being super cordial with other houses and often the other genera as well, but generally aloof in matters that did not strictly concern them. this extended to the normal world and society as well

this was especially true for her grandpa, Gwan Youngchul

who ended up being turned in a surprise attack from a werewolf when the man had been out with his familiar companion -- Seok -- who despite best efforts could not save the witch from this sudden fate, could not stop their treasured bond severing

and despite managing to keep Youngchul alive through the whole ordeal, it would not take long ( if anything, suspiciously quick ) for a certain group of hunters to get whiff of the circumstance and swiftly rid off the ex-witch

Perhaps one bright side to look at was that he was able to communicate last wishes, some of which had already been written on letters hidden for the chance of an unlucky situation such as the one they were currently in arising. one of the wishes being a plea to protect his only daughter Jiyeong

At a tender age of seventeen Jiyeong took the news with surprising grace, not to say she wasn’t devastated and cried but what seemed to be request of her father to bond with his familiar was accepted after a moment of thinking it over, and bonding ritual decided to take place within the week

Jiyeong’s mother had been the one to mainly oversee her training once abilities started manifesting, a Kyegeum witch herself, with very different abilities compared to her husband

It was perhaps no surprise then that Jiyeong became very adamant not long after father’s death to focus studies and abilities on what her father had been so revered for; divination

something his older sister, Jiyeong’s aunt, was known for as well and gladly helped the girl with alongside taking the widowed family under her wing and protection

Jiyong followed after her father’s footsteps in many other things, most notably making friends and upholding favorable relations to the other houses, other genera as well

was endlessly fond of nature magic too, had an abundance of flowers and plants in every nook and cranny, a beautiful garden she tended to with care

many would even say she was touched by the sun itself, vibrant and warm soul she was, nurturing not with only plants but people themselves

eventually met a man who slowly swept Jiyeong off her feet, and not but a few years later they had a child, naming her Sooah. my muse. we’ll get to her in a bit I promise ._.

the man aka Dad is a human, just plain ole’ human. orphaned at a young age so while they wouldn’t know for certain if he has any sliver of witchy magic in him it’s unlikely

insists he fell in love with Jiyong at first sight pretty much. which is frankly understandable she was such a lovely person ;u;

was surprisingly chill about all the, well, witch stuff and whatnot, very curious too but also did want her to be careful and if possible not be that involved with that world

for about next 10 years things went on fairly normally, ya know, living the happy family life, going to work, mingling with the magical side of society

then she started getting sick every so often, out of the blue, however nothing even remotely seeming serious. though it was odd for a witch to be affected with flu so often

she didn’t think it was serious itself, and had a habit of hiding it in the beginning too when it wasn’t even noticeable

until it got to the point it simply could not be ignored, could not be just a passing small thing, could not be cured by any means she knew

and the next thing anyone else knew she was gone. almost like someone had reached and snuffed out her flame, just like that

where in the story we get to Sooah, so;

her early life wasn’t that special in honesty, if you don’t count all the stories her mother told about the secret magical world she too would be part of one day, and the lineage she was to inherit, abilities she would discover, all to be learned together

she had been a deviously curious child, daydreaming every other moment and next begging to see if even take part in what her mother was doing with her own magick

Sooah was quite interested in the guy sometimes accompanying her too, a friendly face she’d grown to know as Seok who she had learned eventually was mom’s bonded familiar, a fact she was entirely too excited about. but who also was before bonded to her grandpa that the girl never got to meet herself

would not fail to mention to him many times how she was going to one day find a familiar to bond with too, someone who was fun and kind and wanted to go on adventures and they would be the bestests of friends ever. and definitely cooler than him

she was always eager to understand and practice the power inside her in general, which she was starting to more and more by the days, before the sudden passing of her mother

it broke her :<

dad too, for a while he was nothing but basically a walking shell. she’s sure neither of them really truly recovered

backtracking just a lil because one very, very important notion was the familiar was of course bound to die soon along with the mom, Sooah was well aware of the fact by then and while she was stricken by grief at the time she was dedicated to finding him, no real plan in mind but urgent to know he was okay, like it would somehow make the situation any better

she did end up meeting him, understandably shaken himself but apparently already accepted own fate-- which at the moment did not sit well with her at all and Sooah, not even yet 14 years old, decided she was not going to let him just wither away and die alone how horrible would that be, how sad for that to be the end when her mom had exuded everything opposite, she was not going to let that happen no matter what

which meant the only thing she could actually do was to bond with Seok and by sheer force of will and maybe some tears - definitely some tears - did manage to convince for him to agree to it

a whole mess

she doesn’t regret it one bit, absolutely refuses to, yet does occasionally wonder if it was the right thing to do or even fair to him

but ultimately she’s glad he is in her life, aiding in any matter she may require, definitely now seen as a big brother she never had-- if she’s not too busy calling him grandpa bc seriously he’s old as all fuck. it still surprises her from time to time

( okay but it is hilarious to think Seok going from being as old as he was, looking about 40 to then having a 14 year old’s body lmaoo )

bless the grandma tho she was really a rock in this emotional time, even though she was dealing with the loss of her daughter, after having lost her husband so early in their lives too !

she kinda took over seeing to Sooah’s teaching and helping in any other way as well, more than welcoming to having her stay over for however long she needed or wanted to

she’s still thankfully alive and has a good relationship with both Sooah and Seok ;u;

Dad on the other hand.

they have both moved out of the house the family used to occupy with mom, into their own places

also have a somewhat strained relationship nowadays, more to do with his insistence on getting her to quit all the witch stuff cause it’s dangerous yadda yadda and she’s obviously not going to do that

not to say she’s not paranoid herself, and knowing how both her mom and grandpa died barely halfway into their lives even more so

it’s not only made her fearful of same fate but made her swear to stay away from any sort of divination magic if she can help it, somehow convinced that to be a factor in all of it

does have randomly prophetic dreams though, but nothing that has been major or necessarily that important so she’s.. okay with that. kinda. does keep a dream journal just in case

It’s coming up 10 years after the mom’s death, so I’m sure there’s been some rumors or other witches wondering if the Gwan family was just cursed or something, probably mostly from older and the more traditional types. doesn’t help Soaah’s dad being a plain human. or that she’s not sure if that might just actually be the case oof

as thus she’s definitely a lot more withdrawn when it comes to the other houses, or even Kyegeum themselves, doesn’t exactly feel like part of the community if you will

but is friendly to everyone and usually can be outwardly seen as having nothing weird or unusual going on beyond what you’d expect of a typical witch in this day and age

designs and sometimes makes jewelry for The Gem Lab actually, or if an individual knows to ask her personally Sooah does take custom work too ! and yes they all have very carefully picked gems or crystals, often imbued with enchantments of basic protection or if one wants something very specific she can probably do it

is kinda rich?? like grandpa was very up in there and left part of his inheritance to the mom, who of course left part of hers to Sooah. who doesn’t really like using that money as it is so it’s just sitting in a whole separate account. probably partly also because she’s not exactly the best when it comes to handling finances so. yeah.

BASICS.

full name. varian of old corona ! nickname. v , goggles , hairstripe , vari . gender. cis male ( he / his ) height. 5′0″ age. 17 in canon verse , varies within others ! zodiac. aries sun , libra moon , pisces rising . spoken languages. drums my hands on the table , you got a dead language and something translatable and this kid learns it within a few weeks , easy , so we’re sorting demantius’ dialect in here , but i’d say both the dialects of the inner + outer parts of the kingdom ! ( i’ll talk a lil more specifically ab this in accent ! ) maybe a smattering of words n phrases of languages found in the other kingdoms , due to his work that has all kinds of people coming to him for alchemic assistance , as well as being an outskirt village !

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS.

hair color. black w/ brown highlights and a teal stripe ! eye color. blue ! skin tone. very light and very very fair , burns within a few hours of being outside in the summer sun , but before that , freckles ! ! ! accent. the tts - english version of what was most likely a version of an early nineteenth century germanic dialect by the coast ! i would also reach to say that it’s probably audibly different from what is usually spoken within corona’s main city / citadel , due to the distance between main and old corona , there’s probably a different dialect for those living on the far reaches of the kingdom outskirts ! voice. usually very pronounced , very loud , and very fast , depending on whether he’s talking ab his work or not . either way , it’s prone to cracking . his brain tends to work faster than his mouth , so there’s a lot of repetition and backtracking as well ! dominant hand. ambidextrous ! he’s confident enough w/ pouring chemicals with both hands , and his staff switches between right and left constantly . it doesn’t look like he prioritizes towards one over another , usually using the one that feels right in the moment . posture. absolutely horrendous ! literally you will always find him slouching over notes and various versions of work , falling asleep in bad positions over his workstations , and w/ working his way around machinery –– hanging over and around gently dangerous and in - progress kinds of equipment and chemical machinery does not always equal the best of results for one’s muscles and posture –– but ! ruddiger is actually a really wonderful addition to the family here w/ this , a welcome weight on his shoulders , which also serves to remind him to straighten up ( in more ways than one 🥺 ) ! scars. lots of chemical burn scarring ! alchemy is an incredibly dangerous practice , and vari is not one to stick to a safety protocol on his own volition , like a whole entire fool , so there’s lots of burnt clothes and burn scars –– the gloves were most likely a gift from his father , as soon as there had been a few accidents leading to some permanent markings on his hands , the same w/ the apron . i do like to think he makes his own goggles , though , i.e. why he has so many of them to go around ! tattoos. n/a in most verses , but i love the idea of him getting one to tie back to all the work he’s done w/ the demanitus legend / language when he’s older ! birthmarks. hmmm . i may come back to this at a later point , but for now let’s say if there are some , they’ve been marked over by other scars . most noticeable feature(s). teal hair stripe , gigantic goggles , some article of clothing is always slightly singed ( or still on fire , please let him know asap ! ) .

CHILDHOOD.

place of birth. old corona ! birth weight. most likely underweight . birth height. small , tiny , it sticks w/ him , the poor kid ! first words. blue ! siblings. none ! can’t vouch for canon here , but i’m going to go with historical accuracy here and say his mother died due to sickness when vari was still a baby . parents. quirin ( father ) , a woman who wasn’t given a name bc tts is Like That™ ( mother ) parental involvement. being son to the leader of the village isn’t always . super great ! there’s a lot of interactions between them that lean into the thinking that there’s a . stilted kind of relationship between them ? ( think . that is enough , varian / yes , sir . think . not again , varian . think . you are not ready . ) running a village is a busy enough position to be in , let alone one in the middle of a crisis , and it doesn’t feel like there’s much time left , or prioritized , in either of those times , to develop a relationship w/ vari ? i can’t imagine that the loss of his mother really . helps ? there’s so much hurt there , you can see it when quirin looks at the portrait in qfad , and so they’re very distanced due to just . not knowing how to reach one another ? there’s always something , too big to cross , too far to reach . so much of varian’s story is trying to get his father to see him , to be proud of him , and it reflects so much onto . quirin’s absence ? in vari’s work , in his interests , in him ? and in wanting that , needing that emotional relationship more than anything else ? feels like enough to drive him to uh . . . doing A Lot™ to get it .

ADULT LIFE.

occupation. " wizard “ of old corona → alchemist → co-lady-in-waiting ( The Best Day , you will never be able to pry this title away from him ) → the gentle villain stint → redeemed alchemist → most trusted royal engineer of corona ! current residence. old corona ! depending on verse he also travels , and lives within the citadel to be close to the official castle lab ! close friends. ruddiger , rapunz.el , cassandra , eugene , lance . financial status. as son as the leader of a village , i’d say middle class , esp. since they’re living in an outskirt town , it isn’t much ? a lot of varian’s experiments come from deconstructing old ones to reuse and rebuild from scraps . he def sews their clothes back into working order as well ! driver’s license. not exactly modern , but he can fly a hot air balloon ! that’s pretty vehicular ! no license tho bc he’s . gotta rebel in the ways that he still can ! criminal record. pulls out a scroll that rolls down the whole expanse of the throne room : “ attacking “ princess rapunz.el on the night of the snowstorm , drugging an entire castle staff w/ laced cookies , assisting + instigating in the theft of herz der sonne's journal , assisting + instigating the plan to break into the castle vaults , stealing the sundrop flower ( + later destroying it ) , endangering the crown princess on multiple accounts , multiple accounts of assault + endangerment to the people of both main and outer corona ( birthday automaton , enhanced ruddiger , army of automatons . ) , kidnapping the queen , attempted regicide , breaking out of jail , aligning himself with the saporians , wiping the memories of the king + queen , allegedly planning on continuing the memory wipe to the whole of kingdom corona , endangering the whole of main corona with his chemicals yet again . vices. arrogance , doubt , recklessness . love language. primarily actions ! ! you need something done ? you need someone to do something for you ? he’s your boy ! he also gives gifts , as well , mostly practical ones , usually lil machines or things he’ll think that could be of use or necessity !

MISCELLANEOUS.

character’s theme song. oh i will make you proud is too much of a bop to be anything but his theme ! we also see it played throughout the seasons in instrumental swells within gentle or Big Plot™ moments , even all the way back in what the hair ! so much of his character + narrative arcs lean on being seen and known and validated ? it’s important to him , but especially for it to come from his dad , or even from those he admires n looks up to ? The whole entire Dream ! hobbies to pass time. experiments , building w/ spare machinery parts , playing around w/ ruddiger , cooking , gardening , sewing , reading , etc . ! mental illnesses. anxiety , depression , ptsd . physical illnesses. he gets sick a lot . exposure to dangerous chemicals can lead to a weakened immune system , so it ends up showing in lots of semi - sick days after all - nighters that he works through until he eventually collapses or gets worse . it does mean that he eventually develops a good repertoire of being able to recognize various symptoms of sicknesses , and with a bit of studying , experience on how to treat people within his village + even beyond ! fears. losing his father , being lied to / kept in the dark , not being enough despite his best efforts , never being fully trusted in the same way again , that he won’t be who he could’ve been , once , bright in the light , unhurt and unhistoried , and that the darkness is still in him , waiting for the day that he snaps again . self-confidence level. can i get a big oof in the chat bc it’s not . really exactly super - great ? or even super - sturdy , for that matter ? ambition is one thing , but failed experiment and failed invention over and over again can be . extremely disheartening , especially when it comes w/ a verbal disappointment speech , as well as side - eyes and general wariness + distrust from everyone in his village . he’s incredibly confident in his knowledge + ability , and can don the “ wizard of old corona “ facade , but he’s . he wants to do something right , so so badly , to prove himself , to prove that he can , even if he’s not exactly the right person to do it , he’s going to try anyways , even if it’s just in case , even if it’s the only recourse left ? and that can be . dangerous , to say the least , as we’ve seen . but but but ! with the help of raps and cass and eugene and lance , and being given the chance(s) to be included in their lil found family , in being able to prove himself among them ( with some bumps along the way , a sad kid with no family left can go a lil feral w/ fury and grief as a treat , as you do , you know how it be sometimes ) , and come into his own ? has been . the absolute best ! everything he’s done for the name of good , for the betterment of the lives of others ! all of the light that it brings into his life , into his work ! love that for him ! ! ! vulnerabilities. overactive , maybe leaning a lil too close to what’s really an obsessive need for answers , how that there are not many lines he’s not willing to cross to do something he deems Right™ or for those that he loves , how he’s easily provoked to accept challenges + problems to solve .

he gave you a wink from the other side of the room and you didn’t know whether to laugh or cry

he wasn’t kidding when he warned you last night that if you bet against them, they’re either all for you, or all against you

you couldn’t even take out your anger on him for being so annoying without being too obvious

because hyunjin wasn’t a fan of pda... or any publicity for that matter

so it was silly but none of the others knew you two were going out

y’all been dating in secret for almost a full year

it was a pathetic excuse but the relationship was between you two only so who cares if nobody else knew

anyway

you didn’t spend most an entire summer learning to bread and pastries with your aunt to Lose the bet

but long story short you won the bet and you were like the tax collector that day

changbin lowkey thought you were pretty cool hated you from then

in the afternoon, hyunjin ditched soccer practice to hang out with you because he was kinda very extremely super proud that you pulled through with the bet and showed the boys what you were capable of

the entire time they ate your bread he was just like

wow... damn i’m lucky

you had lots of assignments to get through so he came to help

you guys didn’t really have a secret hideout so you brought him home.

one thing led to another and

y’all ended up snuggling on your carpet

he was in his soccer gear aka Dirty™ so you didn’t let him on the bed

but at the same time you were so deprived of getting pampered by him so the carpet had to do

you send him off right before dinner because y’all didn’t want parents to start asking questions about you two

seungmin was your neighbour and should be coming home from soccer practice (the one hyunjin ditched) so the goodbye was short and sweet

you watch him sprint down the street and turn to you just before disappearing around the corner, to blow you another kiss

he was a soft baby to you but when it came to his friends the most he could do was sit next to you and tease you till no end

and quite often his teasing made you really quite genuinely annoyed at him bc

lol hwang hyunjin is a lil shit have you seen him

sometimes you hated him for being such an ass in front of his friends

but then you think of the soft moments like when y’all cuddle and kiss and go on secret dates... you always forgive him in the end.

not too long later everything happened, you had the urge to make bread again.

you took the earlier bus to get to school bc you were gonna wait outside the gym for him bc he had compulsory gym training.

thankfully you knew only hyunjin and woojin were gonna be at the session so you really only had to avoid one person

poor woojin lol he was kinda happy to see u but you pretended to not hear him through your headphones

when hyunjin walked out, your heart dropped like 10-fold bc he had like 29475959 friends from his other classes with him

so you yell out his name and pass the well-wrapped loaf to him

he did that dick move where he smiled and halfassed a nod to you and continue walking with his friends

honestly.. honestly honestly.. you were a bit like :/

only because he seemed indifferent to see you and stuff

but like ok whatever at least he took it

but you also had another present for him which was a card and letter you spent a lot of time on

so you push past his friends to walk beside him ask if y’all could perhaps talk

“we’re talking now, aren’t we?”

and his friend who you weren’t familiar with butts in right there and goes all “ooo another suitor?? another girlfriend?? damnnn.. hwang hyunjin you dAWG”

you didn’t even have time to process what he said bc that “friend” clapped hyunjin’s shoulder

and

and he dropped the loaf

y’all watched as it rolled down the stairs and the wrapping tore in half so the loaf tumbled out onto the dirty corridor floor

his friends started laughing and someone at the bottom of the staircase kicked the loaf around like a soccer ball

you look at hyunjin and he was laughing along with his friends??? ??

you ripped the letter you wrote into pieces and threw it at his face

and he looked at you in shock and surprise but

you left immediately

lowkey bumped into woojin on the way to class

but you left him in the dust because you just felt so so so humiliated and hurt

it was lunchtime

seungmin and felix were a bit confused as to why you walked straight past their table to sit with your other friends

hyunjin was still confused poor baby actually completely forgot about your anniversary so he thought you made another bet to make bread

you had history class with him after lunch, but you moved to the front of the classroom

which is somewhere he would never sit.

he kept throwing pieces of paper at you to ask why you were all the way at the front

even got some people to pass notes to you

all of which you ignored

it took him until last period to figure out why you were giving him the cold shoulder

he was sitting in physical education class — watching some documentary about dance or smth

and obvs his headass wasnt paying the slightest bit attention to the film but he was thinking of you instead

and why you wore a permanent frown since the start of the day

while thinking of you he suddenly realised the date

then all the events of the day rushed into his mind all at once - from you waiting outside the gym, to the loaf incident, to your expression as you blind sided him and the boys the entire day

without asking for permission he ran out of class and straight to your chemistry class where y’all were doing filtration tests

and he stormed into the lab, spotting you immediately

you were working with minho, your lab partner, in the far corner, and y’all were giggling over a joke or smth but as soon as you saw hyunjin you turned away immediately

and it really broke his heart because he knew he was the reason why you were so uncomfortable

by then, the entire class was asking hyunjin why he was there

but all he could see was you trying to exit out the back

and he had no idea what came over him

but the entire class started screaming (esp minho) when he ran up to you and hugged you tightly

obvs like you were still mad at him so you knee-d him lol

and the entire class continued screaming (esp minho) as you pushed him out of the classroom and shut the door on him

needless to say the rest of the lab session was Super Awkward and minho tried not to make eye contact with you

(in case he gets knee-d too right)

by the end of the day you still couldn’t get over how the entire day was ruined and you rushed home before the bell rang bc u just had enough and some alone time was much nneeded

when the doorbell rang after dinnertime you wanted to cry because you were the only one at home

and you had to answer it because what if it was something urgent

but

what if it was hyunjin... who you didn’t want to see...

it was hyunjin ofc

he was wearing his sports gear and it seem like he was just out for a run

you started to close the door but he did that cheesy thing where he pushed it open again

and before you could speak, he kneeled down

you panic for a moment

but he got himself together and apologised.

because he knew since day one how important anniversaries were to you and he really had no excuse for forgetting, and he realises how you much like crap you must’ve felt when his other gym friends made fun of you and your gift and he was so unforgivably sorry because he laughed with them

he really shouldn’t have

but he did because they were just a couple of dumb teenage guys who liked to joke around without a care in the world

you see that he was really struggling and stumbling over his words

and deep down you knew how much you meant to him and how scared he was of losing you

you pulled him up and hugged him because you didn’t want him to continue or else you’d start crying real hard

so you kissed him to finally shut him up

but you hadn’t forgiven him yet so he was still hesitant to return your kiss but you cupped his cheeks and bite his cute fat lips that were just a little fatter because you were squishing his cheeks

you tell him that you really really didn’t want to hide your relationship anymore and he nodded without hesitation and then you tell him you’d forgive him if he kissed you properly

he didn’t hesitate at all uwu

after a really long time hhh y’all finally parted to Breathe a lil... gosh

you stare at his lips and see them all swollen and rosy and it made you shy bc Girl you did That hhhh

and he’s looking at you in the same way bc yours were swollen too and y’all stand there holding onto each other for who knows how long but then he wanted to kiss you again and you wanted him to kiss you too so he did

by the time y’all pulled away Again y’all were breathing and laughing and crying and laughing and just feeling all the emotions at once

and he rested his forehead against yours and tells you he’ll make you a loaf of bread instead

and you cry just a bit harder which sends him off too

w-why is he such a baby :(

not that you were complaining though.. because he tells you that he’s really been a better version of himself since he met you

and all the worries and things that make you scared about relationships just seemed irrelevant

because you and him were in this together

and it was the best feeling ever.

fluffy!!

they had a lot of late nights / early mornings finishing labs, and these would often turn into sort of silly ‘work parties’ bw the two of them where they’d just hang out and maybe drink a lil and just chill as they wrapped up their assignments

they complimented each other often when it came to their work and like... getting compliments from norman meant more to otto than even good grades etc

i feel like they met as assigned partners and otto was p quiet and just very very focused on the task at hand but norman was just so charming?? that he started relaxing and they actually started to talk abt stuff outside of work when they met up and like,,, norman almost single-handedly made otto feel comfortable enough to get a little more outgoing

like up to that point i think otto was still v much focused on applying his intellect through hard work like his mother had always stressed, but then he met norman and everything changed and for the first time he felt like he could actually have a balance

it was also probably the first time otto had really had a long-lasting relationship w a man. his mom disapproved of him having many serious relationships at all and i think otto probably mostly explored relationships w women in undergrad, but finally felt free to be committed to a man when he met norman-- handsome, brilliant, fun, and sb who really understood and supported him!

yo... starting to just spend more & more time at each other’s places bc it was easier to get work done that way but also....................... easier.... to have lil dates in!!!!

they were inseparable, obviously (they even got their own nickname from everyone else lmao) and i think norman suggested starting their own company together relatively early on

it was a big step obviously but otto, who’s usually much more comfortable with planning everything out before committing to anything, was just so excited and believed so strongly in norman and in their relationship that he was on board from the start

not so fluffy :o

norman could be pretty controlling even then. it didn’t always lead to fights bc otto was generally kind of mild and like. speaking from experience, it’s easy to just go along with stuff when it has to do w the person you like. norman was very good at getting otto to run experiments in the ways norman wanted, etc, and while i wouldn’t say his kind of overbearing nature was malicious at all it did sort of? get on otto’s nerves every once in a while

if they did fight, it was usually abt that. otto didn’t always feel listened to, and that obviously just got worse as time went on

for the timeline to work i’m p sure norman must have begun to fall in love w emily after oscorp had been established but obviously before the company’s split?

i think norman probably broke it off w otto and while it was mostly amicable-- their relationship had probably begun to fade already w the stress of running oscorp and w otto getting more and more upset by his lack of freedom-- i could def see some resentment lingering and resurfacing w the neural interface

depending on how much otto’s backstory mirrors his comic one, i’m sure he would feel like he had given norman everything and norman, like otto’s mother, had betrayed his trust and his love and had moved on and left him w nothing

i think otto genuinely liked emily, so any irritation he felt was mostly for norman. but again i think otto was actually pretty chill abt it at the time but later on it was just one more thing to fuel his resentment ??

this scenario is entirely based off of this gif not going to lie

Scenario: Mark Lee just really likes watermelon and also you

okay so you’ve been roommates with make lee since the beginning of sophomore year

you wanted to live off campus to save some money

and mark was sick of living with a swarm of guys who never seemed to do dishes

and hey less people less mess

also you’re pretty tidy yourself so it was extra good

anyway you guys had a few mutual friends and they ended setting you two up not actually but also kinda actaully lmao they ship it roommate wise

your both juniors now, it nearing the end of first semester so you guys have gotten pretty comfortable with each

like really comfortable you tell each other everything

everything excluding one maybe significant factor in your guys relationship...

and somewhere down the time line of living in such a small apartment together that factor became more and more signifigant

maybe it was from him constantly walking around the apartment with just a towel on after a shower or him not wearing a shirt during the early fall and late spring because your ac doesn’t work right

maybe it was the time he made you breakfast when you were sick in bed

and by made i mean he attempted to fry and egg and it didn’t work

so he put a bagel in the toaster bc even he cant mess that up he almost did though good thing you don’t mind extra crispy

maybe it was simply his smile or his sense of humor or his laugh

ah but no matter what or when it was

you had fallen for him. hard. and probably more quickly than you cared to admit

and hed done the same just neither of you were sure enough of each others feeling or confident enough to let the other know

but it doesn’t matter not that much any way

you were happy enough just spending lazy days in with him watching movies or just chatting sometimes when it was raining sometimes when it was perfectly sunny out

you were happy just having him drag you out of the apartment to go on adventures kayaking, squirrel chasing, trying out fencing club even if you both really suck

or sometimes he’d even bring his own adventures home like board games or a random diy project

never let him convince you to paint the ceiling again ever he looked hella cute with paint all over his face tho

or sometimes he would just bring home random things from the store?

like one day he brought home a watermelon and youre not really sure why bc its the middle of winter and watermelons aren’t in season?? he fckn love watermelon thats why look at his smile in the watermelon gif i wish i was a watermelon

“It was on sale y/n I had to get it. There were only 5 left. What if someone else bought all of them”

You guys, with a lot of difficulty and some very dull knives finally cut the watermelon into slices

hes a full slice kind of lad not a cube dude

if it was already pre-cubed like at a party though he would sill eat it

and then you would cut up the watermelon

and mark would be so !!! so excited

its just so sweet!! and watery!! and melony!!!!

and you and him would bite into it and...

like not sweet at all

Its starting to get long. You like it though. It gives you more of an excuse to run your fingers through it

You pulled him into a tight hug, one of those really really squeezing the air out of your lungs tight warm ones, one of those hugs that you could easily play off as friendly, silly even

But wow was your heart beating fast and your palms shaking

Mark would freeze at first out of surprise but the pout would go away!!

He would just be a bit caught off guard. That’s why he’d go a bit stiff initially. You weren’t really the type to hug him so out of the blue You were more of a cuddle when sleepy, or intoxicated, kind of human, a lot lett straight forward

He really liked it though really really

So much that he would relax and rest his hands on the small of your back rather than just stand there like a statue. Which is what he ‘claims’ he usually does when people hug him just like he ‘claims’ he doesn’t like skinship bloody liar

but the whole time his heart is going crazy and hes so concerned youre gonna notice but also he really likes hugging you

your skin feel cool and nice against him especially because he feels like hes on fire but

wow are you pretty and wow does he like you

but you don’t need to know that bc that would make living together awkward but it wouldnt be bc u like him too otherwise we wouldn’t be reading this now would we jc

And finally concerned mark would take over and he would suddenly pull away and ‘cough’

“Ahh I just remembered I have to finish that chem lab report is all”

“we finished that together a week ago Mark?”

“…i meant essay”

“but didn’t yo-”

but he would already be running away and locking himself in his room

well as best he could bc he still doesn’t have a door

he broke it off of its hinge they day you guys moved in mark you cute disaster

but you still try and not bother him if he goes in his room

and you’d be confused but also freaking out

oh my god what did you just do what if you pushed the bounds what if things are weird now what if mark doesnt talk to you anymore and stressssssssssss

A few minutes later you would hear his shower turn on

i thought you said you had an essay lying hoe

anyways hed come out of the shower like 15 minutes later

hes not fast at showering bc boi needs time to shampoo after all those wackado hair syles he gotta keep from getting bald ya know

also he needs time to think bc wow do you make him crazy

and hed walk out into your little ‘living room’ and sits on the floor because you guys still havent gotten a couch even though its over a year since the two of you have lived together

and you finally threw away that makeshift cardboard furniture from removing in earlier this semester because mark didn’t just fall through them one he kEPT breaking and getting stuck in them

so to save the boy anymore embarrassment you threw them out together

anyway so he sat on the floor looking all cute mark like in typical mark attire

“hey y/n can you come here. I gotta talk to you for a sec”

but youre already talking??

but you wouldn’t question it

mark’s tone of voice was pretty serious tone to his voice which didn’t happen frequently

so you walked over by him and briefly sat on the floor before laying your head on his thigh

bc he in much more comfortable than the carpet and you werent really a criss cross apple sauce kind of gal at least not when mark was around bc as;doije;dfihw;erio

hed reach down and stoke your hair and close your eyes and hum slightly

“y/n” You’d hum again keeping your eyes closed and enjoying his close proximity

and youd kinda lay like that for a few minutes

and just as you were about to drift off to sleep he stopped playing with your hair

youre eyes open slowly, confused

and then Mark leaned down and before you could process what was happening he was kissing you

and you would have to fight to not break into a giant smile

because finally you were starting to think that maybe you were just a friend to him

but nope bc now ur making out lol not really tho its just a sweet kiss and not super long or agressive

he pulled away, scratching the back of his neck while give you that side smile of his almost sheepish one, but more flirty than sheepish

he kinda mumbled almost what sounded like an apology, but he really didn’t look that sorry and he certainly didn’t feel it i mean neither did you cute boy mark lee just kissed you

“you taste like watermelon” you roll your eyes

his smile spread into a full blown grin and his lil nose scrunched up. he kissed your nose.

he chuckled and semi-jokingly licked his lips “but tastier than the one we just had” You cupped his cheeks and pull his face towards yours.

Blindspot 3x02 recap

Aka the one where the team has to get their groove back

Ah, man. I always intend to do these straight after the ep but then damn life always gets in the way and now suddenly somehow it’s about 12 hours until the new episode airs… let’s see how quickly I can smash through this one then, huh? (Answer: not very quickly lol)

As usual, many thoughts to be found beneath the cut.

Look I’m not really a fan of hunters or white men who are overly attached to their weapons, but murdering a couple of dudes just because they stumbled upon your shady militant business seems a lil bit rough tbh

Ugh Weller is cooking for his lady he’s such a cutie pie and ugh Jane slept so deeply, when was the last time she slept well?? But ugh they’re really settling back into being around each other and HE COMPLIMENTS HER HAIR and tbh I like it best when it’s the classic ‘Jane Doe’ short look but this is super cute (and better than the wavy hair from last ep). And wow I feel like we’re burning through a lot of topics in this brief scene bc now they’re talking about how Jane disappearing pretty much bankrupted Weller (man, that’d have to add some guilt to the pile), and then it comes up that Jane is now vegan and tbh I have a slight problem with this new fact. Like okay being vegan is fine, but firstly they already had at least dinner together the night before, so this kinda should have already come up, right? And secondly I kinda feel like her being vegan now is just a somewhat clumsy way of the writers showing how these two have both ‘changed’ and ‘don’t really know each other like they used to’. I honestly expected her to be joking, and for that little joke to actually demonstrate that while they’re not exactly the same as they were, they also haven’t radically changed. But nevermind, I guess. It provided the necessary setup for Weller’s question about any other surprises-- following which Jane says nothing about the passports and cash she’d hidden-- which is what the writers really wanted to get out of this scene anyway.

Poor Stuart, Patterson really does not like sharing her lab. But technically he’s right, it is his lab too. And omg he and Zapata giving Patterson shit about her app is priceless. I think it might have been unintentional on his part but Zapata sure ran with it and I am loving her sly grin rn lol. But aw Patterson why you gotta growl at lil puppy Stuart so much?? He doesn’t have the tattoo solving experience you have, and plus, I seem to remember you obsessing over certain specific tattoos and getting distracted from the rest… though maybe the David experience put a stop to that, I guess, and you subconsciously don’t want Stuart to head down that same path. And then lol Weller strides in and tells Patterson he wants to solve one specific tattoo today and ooooh she is pissed, whereas Zapata’s having more fun rn than she did in her entire year at the CIA. I knew you missed this, girl. And then Weller says he solved part of the tatt and she’s immediately like ‘excuse me? By yourself?’ and looks doubtful (and also possibly concerned? It’s not something dodgy is it??). But omg “I’m not just a handsome face, Tasha” hahahaha. And yeah yeah we know about Roman and Berlin, though it’s news that there’s a specific sequence to these tattoos and that Roman is supposedly trying to help save the world. And now the team is crackin’ and ugh Patterson to Stuart “What a math whiz you are” and on one hand it’s funny but on the other c’mon mate, go easy on him. He’s barely more than a baby. Anyway ten she pulls some wizardy stuff with the tattoo and they figure out that it marks a spot up near the finger lakes. But then Jane realises that it may connect with the pre-existing tattoo in the same spot-- the left breast, apparently, thanks Stuart (next time answer a little slower, buddy) and omg she gives him this tiny, amused (but not mocking) smile as she repeats ‘left chest area’ and ugh I’m so glad to see someone being sweet to Stuart.

So the team updates Reade on the sitch, which feels a lil weird, and he’s hesitant to let them rush out and blindly follow the tattoos like Weller wants to, bc he’s worried about them being manipulated again, and oooh Weller gets all grumpy about it. Boys, boys, play nice. Jane gently convinces Reade into it, while Weller continues to grump. Dude, I don’t particularly think Reade should be in charge, but the fact of the matter is that he IS in charge, so you should be watching your tone. It doesn’t matter that you have inside info that this is a time-sensitive situation, that is still not a respectful way to address a superior officer. And then lol they go out and search for hours until Reade tries to make them go home “I don’t wanna just quit”/“it’s not quitting if it’s an order”. Lol poor guy, it’s like dealing with a bunch of headstrong kids some of the time. And then suddenly a satellite literally crash-lands right near them, and is pretty much immediately descended on by a bunch of military-esque guys. Notice that Weller is calling the shots again? Old habits die hard, I guess. Poor Reade….

Stuart is still obsessed with that same tattoo and PAtterson is still annoyed by it. Reade and Weller walk in with a chorus of ‘so what have you got?’ and again, Weller, time to back down, buddy. This ain’t your team anymore. Lol “we’re not following hunches”/“We just followed Weller’s hunch…” ugh poor beleaguered Stuart. He just can’t catch a break. And sigh, looks like Rich won’t be helping out this ep. Bummer. Ooooohhh but Reade gives the orders and then calls Weller into his office, who definitely has an odd look on his face as he looks at their reversed positions either side of the desk. And omg Reade brings up the tattoo and Weller’s all ‘oh yeah I was right about that’. Uh excuse me??? I’m not even on this team and even I don’t like your tone one bit, you insolent little preteen! Come on, Weller, this level of juvenile pettiness should be below you. After all, Reade is raising a very valid question about how it was that he just happened to solve the tattoo on the very day that the satellite fell-- which means he’s onto you, buddy. I’d be treading with a little more care and a little less jerkishness, if I were you….

Oh hi Sydney! Oh man when was this filmed??? I stg if they were there when I was there in September…. But oooh damn Roman is getting into some deep stuff here at this support group. Oh hey! I know that guy, he was in an ep of Timeless. And I think possibly in some Aussie ad? Idk. And yep, I don’t care if it’s my native accent, hearing it in an American show is always freakin weird. At least he’s a legit Aussie and not putting on a terrible fake accent haha. And ok I know he’s not but it kind of feels like he’s almost hitting on Roman haha? But in actuality I’m pretty sure Roman has orchestrated this whole thing. Also this dude lives in The Rocks??? He must be loaded, wow. And lol, it’s never too early for a beer in Australia, unless of course you’re me, in which case ‘never’ is too early for a beer haha.

Oooh boy, Stuart, it’s probably not a good idea to literally take the words out of Patterson’s mouth. She really does love briefing the team and showing how smart she is, which in this case involves her having figured out who the satellite belonged to. The representatives of ProtechSat arrive, though are greatly confused since they’re not missing a satellite-- at least, until they see the one in the lab. “Oh, this is for sure ours” hahaha. And then they proceed to have very restrained freakouts and make multiple phone calls as they realise exactly which satellite it was and what it did, while the team gets more and more impatient waiting for answers “getting a little suspicious here guys”/”lotta red flags” hahaha I love the sass in this team. And then lolll the whole ‘We’re from the DOD” exchange and the explaining of the acronyms is priceless. Turns out, though, that the US has a missile shield thingy via a network of satellites, and now with the black box from the crashed one, someone could technically turn it off. Lol at Tasha’s “great, now I have to make a phone call” haha. And Stuart suddenly gets the company name and damn I love this show’s subtle humour. Uh oh, apparently North Korea is priming their missiles, which means possible nuclear war. Geez, high stakes or what. Oh hold up, as long as a single satellite in the network stays functional, the shield stays in place. Who wants to bet that they stop the bad guys just as it counts down to one or two satellites left?? And then lol “stuart’s got something” “Really??” damn Patterson, be nice lol

Stuart has discovered the situation with the hunters, which leads them to a trail cam that shows the ringleader’s face-- and Jane knows him. She worked with him doing K&R, and knows several of his aliases. Reade is immediately thinking of the ramifications of her previous work, but Zapata and Patterson both immediately jump to her defense. Aw, my girls! And then Weller’s all grumpy again over this discovery and tbh I don’t understand why?? As far as I recall, he didn’t ever directly ask her what she’d been doing while she was gone, and rescuing kidnapping victims certainly doesn’t seem like a bad thing?? Like, so what if she worked with some questionable people for the greater good? Geez, Weller, you’re more hormonal in a single day than many girls are throughout their entire teenage years. Chill out, son.

Back in the motherland, these rather similar looking dudes are bonding over more beers, and ugh Roman is telling him the truth about Shepherd and Jane. “Half the time I want my sister back, half the time I want to kill her”--- who wants to bet that that’s going to be a running theme of the season lol? And then haha “you’re next beer’s going to be a water” uh mate he’s American, the beer he’s used to practically IS water loll

Jane finds Weller in the locker room to apologise, which imo isn’t warranted, but whatever. And he says that she ‘did what she had to do’ and I LOVE that she corrects him and tells him that she did it bc she WANTED to? That’s right, girl, don’t let him alter your narrative to fit his views. And then he judges her about people she may or may not have killed/let die and dude. Duuuude. You’re being an assssss. Good thing Patterson has found some info on their bad guy. Sidenote, but I think the writers managed to slip in a subtle dig about gun control in there and I’m super impressed? Anyhow Patterson shows them the guy’s safehouses she found, which Jane is immediately able to narrow down to one based on her skills and her personal knowledge of the guy. Nice work, honey! And then they bust in there and oooh “this is for Paris”-- ok I need that backstory right now, please and thank you. We see some Korean guys in a car who have apparently already discovered that their contact is blown, but they apparently have an ace up their sleeve. Uh oh….

Oooh Zapata is ranting to Patterson about ‘Assistant Director Reade’ and man it’s weird hearing her use his title. Patterson tries to highlight things from his perspective (with another lil jab from Tasha about her app making it in there haha) and then tells her she might just need to figure out a new balance, likening it to her own ‘friends who hate each other’ thing with Stuart, and Zapata’s all ‘yeah no he definitely doesn’t know that that’s what you are’ and Patterson suddenly feels all bad. As you should, honey, coz you’ve been kinda mean to him this whole time. But aww she says she’ll be better and fix things and ugh I love seeing my babies listen to each other and work to improve themselves. Of course all her good intentions do kind of go out the window when she discovers that Stuart is back to using their processing power on his pet tattoo, and advances on him so suddenly that he literally knocks stuff off his desk in his haste to back away. Ugh the poor kid is terrified of her, despite being practically twice her height haha. She does make a good point that the nukes are all still live and the threat is far from neutralised, though. And lol she refers to the hacker as a he and the ProtechSat guy pipes up in the background “Or she!” and Patterson is all, “Exactly, women can be hackers too, Stuart!” and omg I shouldn’t laugh but the poor guy is so flustered rn and totally scared of her, and Zapata is in the background with her face in her hand hahahaha.

Oooh Reade comes in and diffuses the situation by being completely oblivious to it haha, just as he misses the sass Tasha directs his way. Then he goes in to interrogate the dude they caught and lol when he suggests he’s the hacker the dude is all “Do I look like a nerd?” Ouch man, didn’t you know anyone can be a hacker? Lol. And then “is that the good Korea, or the bad one?” okay I kinda like this guy haha, can we see more of him? Weller is definitely less impressed, taking the opportunity to shame Jane a little more for her past career choices, and dude you better get down off of that high horse before you FALL off of it. You’re hardly one with any right to be throwing stones here. But at she stands her ground, and he backs off a little. You go, Jane.

Oooh Reade is getting a pep talk from Hirst; she thinks he’s overcompensating now that the team is back. Well, that’s probably true. But on the other hand, certain members of his team (*cough* Weller *cough*) are also being prigs. Speaking of people who are being butts today, the bad dude (who is a butt) gets a visit from Jane (who has a nice butt) and there’s lots of sass being thrown around-- “I liked you better when you were unaffiliated” “Funny, I never liked you at all” hahaha yaaaassss my queeeeennnn. Oooh but hold on, he knew about her bounty? And didn’t act on it, due to a mysterious person called Clem telling him not to touch her. Wow, Clem must be powerful. They’re probably a dude, too, but just saying I have an Aunty Clem and though she’s a 5ft nutritionist with a pixie cut and giant glasses, I could totally see her as a mastermind/commander figure haha. I guess they already did the ‘Surprise! This character you’ve been hearing about is actually a woman!’ reveal with Shepherd tho. But anyhow based on Jane’s chat with her old work buddy, there may be a leak in the team-- and of course the first suspect is the ProtechSat guy who happens to be a POC. Original. It’s only when he has an alibi--- sidenote, why was he at the hospital overnight I really wanna know-- that anyone even remembers that oh yeah, he has a colleague who has also been there the whole time, and who they now know had the means to frame him. But I mean she’s a pretty white lady, so who could blame them for not suspecting her til now? (#me #Icould) Aaand now the innocent lil white lady just killed two poor dudes and is about to give the baddies the means to nuke the whole country. Good work, team.

Back by the bay, the beardy boys are bonding beautifully. Poor Aussie dude just really wants to make sure Roman isn’t a risk to himself-- but he doesn’t realise that he’s the one at risk. Roman deliberately targeted him, drugged him and is about to kill him. And ughhh the poor guy is all ‘I don’t wanna die’ and Roman seems to almost regret that he has to do it bc he seems to genuinely like him and duuuude just don’t do it! Don’t kill him! Be a better person!

The ProtechSat guy helped them figure out where the hacker chick is, which I’m super satisfied by bc the guy that they wrongly accused has now just helped save their asses. And Jeller are racing there, and Jane tells Weller she loves him, but it’s with a look of almost trepidation on her face, like when a dog thinks you’re mad at them so they’ll come up and lick your hand and try to be extra cute and lovable. At least Weller immediately says it back, then reassures her that he’s not mad at her, but at Roman for orchestrating all this, and tells her that they can’t let him drive them apart. Mmmm-hmmmm, this is the time when you mention that you ALSO have something to confess, boy! But nope, looks like we’re not free of the hypocrisy yet. Anyhow the team dashes into the building (awkwardly hiding their guns from all the kiddies), guided by Patterson to the planetarium where they find a dead Marcy. Also the voiceover narrating about asteroids and meteorites sounds very much like it’s an analogy for this show’s characters… meanwhile the team is suddenly being shot at, a (male or female, thanks guys) hacker is shutting down all the satellites, Patterson is yelling… it’s just like old times. And finally the team functions like old times, and Reade and Tasha manage to cover Jeller long enough for them to go and take out the hacker and his guards in a kickass lil showdown-- leaving them with two satellites playing Atlas and holding the whole thing together. Lol at Reade losing his comms and being like ‘So did we win or did we get nuked?’ haha. And then awwww the team’s all gathered back at the lab and Reade is giving a lil speech and I’m so proud of them. Also no drinking in the lab is a new rule-- I feel like this was somehow put in place because of Rich haha.

Aw, damn, Roman really killed him. Well, that sucks. But he needed his identity or whatever, so fine. But omg it’s hilarious watching Luke pretend to ‘learn’ how to speak with his own native accent haha. Also when are they going to explain the absence of the scar???

Oh boy. Weller is cooking tofu sticks, which is not going at all well, but it’s a sweet gesture. And yet again I kind of expect Jane to say she was joking about the whole vegan thing, idk why lol. But ugh he’s all ‘I’m trying so hard’ and I really do feel bad for him rn. He’s scared that bc there’s so much about her now that he wasn’t part of, that it will mean he’ll never really have her back or something. But um dude, literally everyone else in the world is with someone who has years of experiences that don’t include them?? Like with her memory wipe, her entire existence is pretty much only like 4 years long at this point, and she was with you for 2 and a half of those. Most people are with someone who lived twenty or more years before knowing them. So I suggest you reassess a bit here, buddy. But then again I know you’re only scared of losing her again, which is probably a fear you’ll carry forever (which as we know, is a situation I am displeased with the writers about). But ugh Jane basically suggests going out on a date which is cute, and Weller’s all ‘no go we’re broke’, and she’s all ‘well actually’ and shows him her giant stash’o’cash. And it’s one of those bittersweet moments bc yes she kept it from him but she was keeping it for an emergency, and had likely planned to tell him once she had realised how dire things had gotten financially. Thankfully Weller decides to focus on the positive, and well, they don’t make it to that date….

Awww Tasha shows up at Reade’s apartment and there’s sass and it’s cute and he apologises and then she’s all oooohhh you’re on a date?? But NO OMG he has a GIRLFRIEND and she looks VERY FAMILIAR and ooooohhhhhhhhhh boyyyyyyyy this is gonna get awkwardddddddddddd

Meanwhile Patterson is repeatedly calling Stuart to try to apologise and explain her recent behaviour which I really approve of and appreciate, and ugh she tells him he’s good at his job and ugh she’s actually gone to his apartment to see him but oh shit the door is busted in and please tell me he just went back to the lab to work late please please please oh shit oh nooooooooooooooo. Stuarttttttttttttt!! Oh my baby this is so unfair, you deserved so much better…. (Also poor Patterson ugh)
