OKAY I know Leraye's event in WHB is over but it has been ceaselessly rattling around in my brain for DAYS and I NEED to scream.

We get some funny moments with Leraye finding a snake and a pen and hurling a meteor into the forest trying to use magic to summon clouds for thunder but the MEAT of the story is about an angelic invasion that has Satan and Sitri and the other nobles battle-royaling.

We've been bamboozled, Holmes!

Help them Leraye, you're their only hope! no, literally

So my boy becomes a one-man gatling gun, head-shotting angels from a positively ridiculous distance to try and single-handedly save the suburbs of Gehenna from becoming a stomping ground.

I'm too scared to know if this is something that could legitimately happen from shooting a gun for too long my boy really said 'for the cause!' 🥹 and with some suspension of reality you totally forget that he's wiped out thousands of angels without running out of ammo UNTIL HE DOES

Baby boy broke his own horn to use for ammo and yes I was crying 😫 but he DOES IT my boy single-handedly takes out the entire army but he doesn't even get to chill because THIS BITCH

I need y'all to know that I audibly gasped 'NO' and threw my phone across the bed BECAUSE at the beginning-ish of Leraye's battle there's this:

I was FUMING like do you mean to tell me Stolas was there the whole time and he didn't help?? Bruh??? Ex-fuckin-scuse me???? STOLAS SLANDER MY BOY IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A FIGHT.

So then it jumps back to like, present day, where Paimon is chilling in the pub with Naberius and Stolas after finding them in Gehenna in the rain while he's waiting for Leraye to come meet him.

Not me going huh? wuh?? cause like WHAT DID STOLAS EVEN DO??

OKAY so then it jumps back to after the battle. Michelleel has been fried like a forgotten pizza and Leraye has collapsed and Sitri has finally come running. He heaves Leraye onto his back and RUNS to town because Leraye is only looking a little better than swiss cheese and uh kinda needs some patching and during the course of this run Leraye happens to notice something as only he can because this man has the keenest eyes God has ever made.

and would have easily overrun Gehenna, yes.

But wait! There's more!

So Leraye knew the whooole time that Stolas helped him hold off the invasion of Gehenna all those years ago and he's aways wanted to thank him for it I'm SOBBING.

Anyway, best event period because it featured my two faves interacting in a way I didn't expect I'll be thinking about it for ages to come.

Em&M rambles below... didn't want to annoy anyone with my silly hc so...

I think one of the most important factors of Champ Em & Mina's relationship for me is that they got together far before Em got his champion title when he was still clinically depressed & a total disaster... and NOT after when he'd gotten himself cleaned up & was back on track to success.

Like, although they'd been crushing on each other for a while whenever the twins popped into the cafe to grab coffees on their way to work, Em & Mina only officially became a thing during that dark & ugly time when Em was seriously in a bad, BAD mental state & it seemed like the rest of the world had turned its back on him.

I mean, Em had just put in his resignation in for his dream profession as a Subway Boss, his brother just vanished into the ether, news teams & journalists & fans of all sorts are pestering him about Ingo, Ingo, Ingo, AND, to top it all off, he's still not fully recovered from the accident that started it all.

So Mina was his only real reprieve from all this insanity, you know?

The two of them got really close really fast, with Mina basically moving into the twin's place because Em definitely needed someone to look after him at this time... & it wasn't long before they decided to say "fuck it" & officially elope... which, in turn, was quite a while before the thought of going for the champion title even sort of crossed Em's mind.

So, that's why Champ Em is a hardcore ride or die "MY WIFE IS MY LIFE!!!" kinda guy, because when literally everything had spun out of control & was going down the tubes, Mina was the only one who kept him from completely drowning in all his sorrows. She made sure he was eating, sleeping & not completely alone when he was otherwise feeling TOTALLY abandoned.

Anyways, that's why I care SO MUCH for them, because imagining someone seeing your worth & loving you despite being at your very lowest point has a fucking vice grip on my heart♡♡♡♡♡

Haikyuu!! bonus story ~ Preparation 🍊🧡

i love the haikyuu bonus stories so much, this one especially must be the cutest ever! it shows how Pedro always wanted to be friends with Hinata but when he realized he was the athletic type, he got really insecure, thinking that they could never be friends due to their differences.

this doesn't stop Pedro, tho. He works really hard to learn a bit of Japanese, enough to communicate with Shoyo and to be able to get closer to him, watching anime together 🥰 and of course Shoyo also does his best to befriend Pedro! their friendship is one of the dearest in the whole series and i couldn't be more proud of how they start to bond even with their differences 🧡

them bonding over their favorite things feels so realistic. It's always amazing when we find someone who loves the same things we do, and I'm happy Hinata found a deep, true friendship so early in his dear roomate.

The fact that Pedro is the one that helps Shoyo to write the Portuguese texts in his notebook makes everything better 🧡

The moment to say goodbye arrives, but they will always keep in touch! Hinata really loves Pedro, they're like family now 🥹 and he even reminds him that eating vegetables is important hehehe i can't help but think that Shoyo is his big brother now 🥰
