#The thing people don’t tell u about being physically disabled #Is that you’ll see the physically abled people in your life start to view you as something tragic #And while they rarely say it when it comes down to things #They think you’re better dead than disabled. That you’d be happier put out of your misery. #Even with stories involving disabled characters (If we’re anything beyond a background diversity shot which is… rare) #It’s about “curing” or “overcoming” your disability which is I guess a nice sentiment but most of us won’t ever do that #Saiki doesn’t do either of those things #He wants to be cured and briefly thinks he is but then it’s discovered that he Cant be cured bc his powers are part of the whole of him #He doesn’t ever overcome them either #He just puts his glasses back on and decides that if it means he can live another day then he’ll continue to deal with them #And his powers are progressive #And that’s a thing weighing on him but it’s never treated like a death sentence #It’s just something he has to and will deal with #And it sucks but what else is he gonna do #It’s just. Older christianity. I mean the anti government, anti military, community based christianity. The one that cared the most about peace, equality, mercy, kindness, and radical love. The one with shared property. The one that didn't conform to society but instead existed mostly outside of it. You know what I think this is? I think this is an Ed-and-Stede-have -A-Problem-with-something kind of scenario. Something that only Anne and Mary can help them with.

Problem is, Ed and Stede aren't on very good speaking terms yet, they are still very much working together though. So we have Ed sorting how they are going to ask it and he goes "Okay here's the plan I will go there, you'll stay here, shut the fuck up, don't let them see you and pretend you don't exist while I go talk to them, got that?" because Ed needs to look cool and all Blackbeardy for whatever he has in mind to work. Of course, the topic of conversation tips toward what happened to Ed, or how they heard he was hanging out with a rich dork or smth, and Stede - thinking he's the sole proprietor of some utterly Relevant information to the conversation - chimes in (He's not a dork and not even rich anymore!).

Ed, with reason, gets fucking pissed and replies to him on instintic. He regrets it immediately though, and tries to play it off and pretend and the doesn't know him.

(Look at Ed's face!!!! He looks fucking baflled. He's like "THe fucking NERVE of this guy" but also "No nope, totally don't know him, who even is he? No one important, I can tell you that bit")

That's when we get the "Edward..." and that's also how Mary and Anne guess that they know each other. Maybe from there the plan becomes to play their relationship up a bit, I don't know, they DO get invited to dinner though (double date!!!!!).

Healing is so fucking weird man like few days ago I was crying the whole day and now I'm fine even in the mention of the things I'm healing from and also anything that reminded me of them?? I am afraid of three things: that I have stopped caring, that I am suppressing my emotions or that I would get used to the calm and not be able to handle it again when something triggers my emotions
