what is trigun?

Trigun is a western/sci-fi series by Yasuhiro Nightow, the original anime ran in 1998 and was based on the manga Trigun and Trigun Maximum (maximum is just a continuation, they're the same series). There's a lot of themes about morality and humanity, but the manga has a much longer plot than the anime. There's a reboot/retelling coming in January of next year by studio orange (they're known for their CGI, like beas//-tars and land of the lu//-strous).

I will say there's issues with how some villans get portrayed, how women get treated, and how nick continues to get paler etc etc... so just be aware if u plan on trying it out
