I have come to the most adult decision of my life so far … and it’s the hardest and most painful I’ve had to make. I know I have to leave her cause no matter what she will always hold on to these last four years that she claims have been all bad. Even when I change and become the person she wants me to be, she will still always remember how it is how and how she felt and have the fear that things will return this way. And I do not want that for her. I knwo that it’ll hang onto her cause we are one of the same and I still have pain from the years spent with my ex and the guy before him who hurt me too. And that’s not fair to her so why would I allow the same pain to continue on for her. I ahve to leave so that she can find the love the desires and deserves. Even when I become better I will never be able to replicate that same person she first met. I will never be able to be that exact same love again, but someone else can and will be. I know that she is capable of loving so wholeheartedly cause she did once love me that way and I know that she will find someone who will love her the same way. It breaks my heart to even think of her with someone who’s not me, but it makes me feel okay to know that she’s okay when I am not around. And she will be okay. I’ve never loved anyone the way I loved this girl, not anyone. I’ve been really foolish and I wish that I could reverse everything. But time doesn’t allow that , it marches forward. So I must too.
