I do NOT recommend returning back to your Book of Mormon audiobook immediately after reading ineffable husbands fanfic….

idk if this makes sense. but i kind of love that the last of us makes me cry and viscerally FEEL true emotions on a weekly basis. like i cant remember the last tv show i watched that had me consistently bawling my eyes out and so immersed in a show because of the characters, the story, the incredibly strong writing, etc. and it doesn't feel manipulative. it just feels profound and beautiful and poetic but also tragic and... human.

anyone else finding it really, really personally nauseating that the pjo show would remove gabes entire character and replace him with someone less abusive to make sally a Strong Female Character. like wow, im sure glad that youve proven that women who are abused are the REAL threat to feminism, and they should just try talking back more!! what a good message to send to abused kids. sorry, kid. i guess you just didnt argue hard enough and #Own your abuser into seeing how cool and strong you are. what do you mean that arguing with an abuser will only make them hurt you more? but look how snappy and cool and feminist sally is now!!! youre clearly just being abused wrong.

when you grow up in a million choirs and various other ensembles, you start to really resent versions of songs you sang that aren’t exactly how you sang it, and then there’s that moment where you’re trying to sing along to the music and it’s off and it just totally ruins your day
or maybe that’s just me

i'll say it. i'm a lexie grey stan and i like sl*xie okay but they had a lot of the same problems m*rder (another ship i'm fine with but don't adore and have Things To Say about) + Some Other Stuff without ever really getting to resolve any of it. also i hate that her last season story arc was almost exclusively about her pining after him and then she died.

I still can't believe ofmd is a show set in the 18th century, and they Went to a party of aristocrat's together, And we STILL didn't get to see them dance together
They did all that prep about which fork to use but no - "okay! I'll quickly show you some very basic dances just in case!"
they denied us awkward clammy hand holding, stiff jilted movements, stepping on toes, not yet familiar with each others patterns, the spinning and spinning and the thrill of finally getting it right, bodies moving as one, faces inches apart hot breath intermingling, lingering eye contact, dizzy from the spinning and perhaps something more, holding each other that second longer than needed not wanting to be the first to let go, not wanting to be the first to break the illusion because they are, in that moment, the only two people in the entire universe, distant canon fire suddenly requiring attention, a final awkward laugh and a bashful glance upward, both secretly wanting more, both hoping for a next time
