Other than it's being a plot point in the final battle, it feels kind of illogical for Velvet to have kept Floyd as one of her two trolls once they've captured the three other brothers, because you'd think she'd want two of the new ones to ensure she didn't run out of troll during their performances. We've already seen that she was perfectly willing to make Veneer sing without any trolls in their encore, so you'd think she'd just discard Floyd onto him without caring if he died and left Veneer one troll down.

Buuuut I suppose it could make sense if you consider Velvet's extreme vanity, which would likely make her inclined to want the two youngest brothers for herself (which she gets, as her second troll is Clay, the next youngest after Branch and Floyd) while pushing the oldest two onto her brother, with the thought that the youngest two are likely to have either more retained talent, more resilience, or both.

i rarely draw or write but I do have a lot of ideas and I was thinking about the themes or really imagery that appears over and over again in so many

like the ocean, especially at the beach at sunset/sunrise. usually associated with love and admiration.

rain, this can be sad but sometimes its really lovely and used in scenes that are contemplative. but also simply i love the rain and I think about it often

sleeping besides someone, in bed or napping on the couch. etc. I just think it's really sweet...think of how cats showing you their belly means they trust you, you trust this person enough to sleep alongside them when you are most vulnerable. there is something special about that

food, if you know my taste in stories you know I love stuff based around food...I think it has to do with my own shitty relationship with food and wanting better but thats getting a bit too personal

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

getting up on my soapbox for a moment. i find it laughable that nearly every time someone says they don’t like rap they cite hamilton and k-pop as the only rap they can tolerate. because everything else is just so violent and full of blatant consumerism. first off. so is k-pop. secondly. idk how to tell you the founding fathers were some of the most violent people around (coming from a black american descentant of slaves who is most likely related to thomas jefferson. shouldn’t have to explain the relevance here). thirdly. hamilton and k-pop both reference and interpolate rap. so idk what to tell you babes. you do like rap. you just don’t like black people. say it with your full chest next time.

starting to realize I'm going to have to work on climbing the government worker ladder if I ever want to be able to afford top surgery or minor ffs things.

I wonder how hard it is to get in on federal work with no specialty work experience.... I mean 2 or 3 years of struggle as I'm at rn, pay off my car, then try for a fed job.

my goal is the better pay and mandated pay raises and job security. plus maybe I'd be able to bully their insurance into covering trans stuff? my current job is like... they don't know I'm trans. the insurance doesn't know I'm trans. and it's literally illegal for my insurance to cover trans stuff because Florida is a trans hell zone legally, but federal insurance should maybe be able to cover it?

only thing I can think of otherwise is going public sector and trying to get into a tech support role somewhere but their industry is kinda imploding right now and I've got no experience so 🤷‍♀️

thinking about wayne and eddie going on an annual fishing trip (like thee Munson Men Annual Fishing Trip™️) just like a little weekend away. and the first one is coming up after eddie and steve starts dating. over breakfast eddie jokingly complains about having to go and tries to get out of it. but wayne is used to his dramatics so he just gives hmms when appropriate because eddie’s whole spiel never got him out of it before and he tells eddie that.
