First, I use a VPN to get a French IP (or Belgian--I'm not sure which they accept, I just know these two work) so I can access the network's streaming site, TF1+. You should be able to sign up for a free account without issue. This is the page for the season 4 eps:

Apparently there are always two eps in advance available for the premium subscribers but I'm not caught up plus I think it'd be a little harder to sign up for an actual paid account so I probably won't be able to do that.

So normally I would use youtube-dl/yt-dlp to download the eps but that won't work here, or at least not without some extra steps, because these are DRMed. This is where it gets a little tricky and the whole process isn't super well documented both because it changes a lot and it makes more sense to teach people to learn how to do it than how to do it and also because, well, the more these methods are spread, the more networks change things up and make things harder.

The whole forum is quite useful and I've only had to post for help a couple of times, mostly I just search my issue and read through.

That provided command in the second post, that's something to be used in your command line, on Windows in Start you can open that by typing in cmd or PowerShell or just google what you'll need for your computer.

These are the things you'll need to get to run the command:

N_m3u8DL-RE is a tool you can google and download, and also ffmpeg and mp4decrypt. You'll want them in the same folder for convenience. (I think you might need to install python too? If it says you do, then go ahead, lol.)

The way to get the key, this is the most gatekept part, probably. The various streamers out there use different methods of encryption and increasing security levels, and if you read up on it, you'll see stuff about kid and pssh and cdm and L3, it can be overwhelming, but in this case, the things you need are relatively easily accessible.

I'll tell you how to get the pssh and the license URL and you'll be able to use those to get the key. There are several tools you can use them on, one is public and easy, one is private but still easy-ish, and one is pretty complex and not a route I've gone down myself yet (it's the pinned thread in that particular forum). I don't want to link any of them myself, but I'll link to a thread that mentions the easy public one. It does go down at times which is why the hardcore people recommend that last method.

First, before you click on an ep, open up your browser's Developer Tools, usually Ctrl+Shift+i will do the trick. Go over to your Network tab, this shows all the requests your browser makes when you go to a site.

Then click on the episode in the actual browser. You'll see a flood of requests in the Network tab, filter on mpd.

Select the mpd result and the details for it show on the side, click on Preview. Scroll down until you see <!-- Widevine -->. A couple of lines below it, you'll see something like <cenc:pssh>AAA[a bunch of characters]</cenc:pssh>

Grab that whoooole part that starts with AAA, that's the pssh. Go to the Headers detail tab while you're there and grab the Request URL, this is the mpd link we're going to use later.

Now to get the license. Usually you can filter in your Devtools Network tab on license or, in this case, widevine. Since we're already on the Headers detail tab, grab this Request URL now, it should start with https://widevine-proxy-m.prod.p.tf1.fr/proxy?

Now go back to that easy public tool linked in that thread I linked, lol, and just fill in the PSSH and the License. Hit Send and you get a list of three keys at the bottom. I've always gone for the one in the middle and not bothered with all three, but you can try them all.

So at this point, you should be able to fully create and use the command in the first forum link above. If you read the documentation for N_m3u8DL-RE, there are various flags you can use, --save-name "Outputname" will let you name the output what you want, -sv best defaults to the best video quality, -sa best is best audio quality, and so on.

The way to get the subtitle is to turn on subtitles on the video player on the site and to go back to the DevTools box and filter on textstream. Grab the first request, the one that ends with =1000.dash and paste it into a new browser address, and change the .dash to .vtt. That's the subtitle. :) You can use the free tool Subtitle Edit to both convert it to srt, which will let most video players play it with your video, and there's also an Auto-translate option that lets you translate to English. It offers several ways but as I don't have a Google API, I just use the normal "slow" method, it's not that bad.

A second way to get the subtitle is to use the same command as when you're downloading the ep but remove the -M format=mp4 at the end, and instead add -ss 'id="textstream_fra=1000":for=all'

This was all figured out through a LOT of trial and error on my part so please do try your own best if you hit some issues, that's the best way to learn. Also, I just don't want to be the helpdesk on this, lol.

I feel a little bad for the MP creator. She worked really hard on the show, working every day to the point where it was bad for her own mental health. But that didn't change the fact that the series had bad writing and problematic characters. I want to make my own animated stories, but I never really stop to thought about it.

We should work as hard and put as much effort into the story writing as we work on other elements. Not just being in a "hurry" to get it over with so other people can see it.

Sometimes it's even scary to imagine someone reviewing my story like you did with MP. Not because I don't want to take criticism, but imagine seeing a video of more than an hour showing how bad your story turns out to be because you couldn't figure it out on your own lol

But I also doubt that the creator of MP didn't get even a single criticism or any warning of how Hover's relationship with Nothing was toxic and other things. It must have been the belief of "well, there's a lot of people in the comments saying they liked it, so I guess it's okay!". Because even today there are people defending Hover for what she did, and those kind of fans don't help much either.

Several things to take into account here about MP's creator:

She's a professional with experience in the industry. Apparently, her LinkedIn page backs this up.

She apparently majored in creative writing.

She both had beta writers and an editor helping her with MP's script writing.

She asked for critique several times during the show's production. In all areas. Whether that be disability representation, sound design or whatever. She asked, and she received. I know this because she sent a Google Doc to myself and about ten others to write in and tell her what we thought about Episode 1. I personally feel she took none of the criticism in that doc on board, as I remember critiquing the music being overused and ruining the mood of certain scenes and it remained very much the same.

The above is especially important to point out because we've had people insinuate once or twice that we're assholes for critiquing somebody's work "without their permission". All we did was take the critique given to the creator when she requested it and condensed it all into one singular video essay.

MP's creator had many, many opportunities to correct the wrongs that many pointed out in her handling of certain themes in the story, long before our analysis was a thing. The whole reason we made the analysis is because both she and her fans would just sweep any criticism under the rug and we felt it needed to be heard more.

I'm sorry that making this show was not the experience she thought it was going to be. However, that still does not excuse asking people for assistance, wasting their time and then doubling down on the more concerning aspects of your writing that has been pointed out. Such as Nothing's name, Hover's behaviour in Episode 5 or Lite's characterisation.

It's also worth noting that we tried to be as nice as possible with our analysis? We never aimed to tear this creator a new one. The goal of the analysis was and always has been to educate people on how NOT to handle the themes that we felt My Pride took on and mishandled. We tried to be constructive and educational as a result.

My Pride was also not what I would describe as an "indie" series. It was not only handled by someone with experience in the industry, it had a budget of around $100,000-$150,000 CAD (the exact number is unknown but that's the range) and it had an entire team handling it. It is NOT on the same level as other indie series on YT that we're all familiar with, which are generally only made by one or two individuals in their spare time and volunteer voice actors. This was a paid production and, with this budget, came many, many opportunities to do better that other creators on YT can only dream about.

So, with that said: we had different expectations for My Pride as opposed to other YT series. Not only was it made by a professional and a team of editors helping her, it was made by a professional who asked numerous times for help but - for whatever reason - chose not to take advantage of the assistance she gained. There's not being perfect and then there's just being aware of issues but ploughing on regardless.

The deal with Nothing's name will always make me angry. It just felt like a massive 'fuck you' to every disabled individual and their mother who consistently expressed concerns about it. Good for you if you're disabled and find no harm in it. For me, it'll always leave a bad taste in my mouth. It felt like the creator decided that socking it to "the Twitter crowd" or anyone who openly disliked the name was more important than giving Nothing the agency she deserved. Regardless of whether or not that was her plan to begin with (even though Hobblestep got a name change in My Pride's original story), I can't get behind that.

It is why we put a lot of importance on our audience critiquing our work and bringing up any concerns to us. Our goal is to deliver a story where both LGBT+ and disabled individuals can feel appreciated and seen. We do not want it to turn into a personal wet rag that reassures us that we are above critique when we're not.

If it is not purely about how 'boring' and 'safe unrealistic' our writing and characterisation is (because I'm not gonna bend my knee to people who think you need ableism in a pro-disability story for it to be entertaining), then we're willing to listen.

And that's the flip side of the coin, anon: we also encourage people to be constructive and kind when critiquing the work of others and only do it when permission has been granted.

We also expect folks to use discretion and sensitivity. Us critiquing My Pride is NOT on the same level as critiquing an amateur YT series made by a singular individual and unpaid voice actors.

If you're gonna come at our work or anybody's work out of pettiness and spite: you're also part of the problem. Simple. - RJ

Hello! I just found out about hanyu yuzuru, so I guess that makes me a baby fanyu now haha, and I was wondering if you know any videos or sites of where to start to get to know about him more , thank you!!

Hi! I'm so happy you found out about Yuzu. It's unusual for skaters to gain new fans after they've gone pro. So, that's your first indication that Yuzu is a very unique skater and person.

(I strongly encourage people who see this post and have more resources to add, to either reblog or comment!)

Here's how I started to learn more about him:

1. Planet Hanyu - it's a forum that has a huge video archive (accessible if you sign up). There's a section called Yuzuru's journey with documentaries and interviews and competition footage + the new content after he retired. It's the most complete thing I can think of. There are also sections by year, competitions and ice shows.

However, the first step I took when learning about Yuzu was by reading this page from the forum: The Great Glittering Glossary. It's a comperehensive break down of lingo about Yuzu and it also helps you understand more about him.

I would also add Planet Hanyu's Twitter account - they make regular posts - and their #OnThisDay tag is very helpful to find vids and links with Yuzu content

2. The Yuzuru Hanyu wikipedia page. Yes. It's a very good, detailed resource, constantly updated, and very reliable. His page has the status of Good Article (see here what it means)

3. For more recent stuff (starting with 2019), I highly recommend the Axel with Wings blog. It's a team which works on providing subtitles and they also have some articles translated.

4. Frankly, the most important part for me, it's watching his competition programs - I watched on YouTube all his competitive programs at all competitions he participated. And what I could not freely find on YT because of geo-blocking, I found in the video archive of Planet Hanyu. The best way to understand his excelence, also, is to watch full competitions (or at least the group he participated in competitions). He will definitely stand out. But you can't gather info about him like this, except about his skating and how he expressed himself through it.

5. Google a lot. You find something in the Glossary that's unclear or a reference about an interview or something not linked, look it up. Chances are Google will spit out a Tumblr link that has fan-translations of content not available on the Planet.

6. His various ice show performances. Different from competitive programs (sometimes) and they allow Yuzu the freedom to express his artistry much more than competitions did.

I hope this helps. Learning about Yuzu is an on-going process, it never really ends. I began learning about him in February (shortly before the Beijing Olympics). Up until March/April, I was still finding "new" info. Even now, from time to time, there's old stuff about him that I find out - like yesterday I learnt he sometimes ate at McDonald's.

Keep an eye out on these Twitter accounts for fast translations of Yuzu content - this is not an easy way to learn about Yuzu since Twitter is a pretty messy place for archiving. Nevertheless, if you plan on keeping up with current content about Yuzu/featuring Yuzu, these accounts are great.

Okay!

Alright, so first things first, go to your user directory. It should be the little house icon with your user name next to it.

Next, we're going to need to see the hidden files in that directory. To do so, press the “Command” + “Shift” + “.” (period) keys at the same time. The hidden files will show up as translucent in the folder. If you want to obscure the files again, press the same “Command” + “Shift” + “.” (period) combination (I'm plagiarizing from the top Google result btw lol)

Anyway, what we're looking for is the ".config" folder. It should be near the top, since it starts with a period:

Here's what my .config folder looks like. It's filled with application/programs that have personalized settings:

You will need to create a folder for the command line programs you want to create config files for. Just make sure the name/capitalization of the file matches what's on GitHub/the command line you enter into Terminal so your Mac knows what to do. So for example, the name of the program I use is yt-dlp and that's what I type into Terminal; make sure to name the file exactly that.

Here's the yt-dlp folder:

This is where you will put in FFmpeg and your config file. Config files MUST be plain text; the easiest way to do this is to use TextEdit (built in with Mac) and turn off Rich Text Editing in settings, changing it to plain text.

Here is what my config file looks like:

To decrypt this jargon, basically what I'm directing yt-dlp to do is to download all videos in 1080p, get the best quality audio and merge it with the video (because yt-dlp doesn't do that on it's own, FFmpeg has to do it), and embed the thumbnail in the video.

The second line was my attempt to direct downloaded videos to my Downloads folder, which didn't work out. They go to a folder called "~" in my main directory. But I'm okay with that, because they're all in one place for me to sort later. If you don't set a download location, videos will automatically be placed in your main directory.

Here's the coding if anyone wants to copy-paste them into their own config files:

-f bestvideo[height<=1080][vcodec^=avc][ext=mp4]+bestaudio[ext=m4a]/best[ext=mp4]/best --embed-thumbnail "-o ~/Downloads/%(title)s.%(ext)s"

And there you go! This took me hours to figure out so I'm glad I'll potentially be saving other Mac users tons of headaches, lol.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that you need to just name the config file "config" lol

EDIT 2: I had to edit the line of code directing videos to be downloaded in 1080p because the coding in yt-dlp changed; the old coding prevented videos from being previewed in Finder (although they could still be played in video-playing apps like VLC).

Also, please be sure to install FFmpeg via Homebrew I forgot to mention that lol!

Hi! I've been trying to get into editing lately, mostly to make edits and amvs, but i've been having a lot of trouble downloading the things I have to for that.

I've seen you've done your fair share of amvs on your tumblr and I was wondering how you do it? And how you find the videos without subtitles for that, mostly anime in my case, you use a specific app or something?

2nd, to the question:

Editing does imply downloading a lot of stuff so prepare for that. I mostly keep everything on a Google drive and the moment I'm done I yeet it to keep some space on the drive (unless is something I edit regularly like trigun).

When it comes to editing, I use a cracked version of Filmora Wondershare that let's you edit and export without the logo. There's probably an new way to get filmora for free without the watermark but the cracked version works for me for now. It's a good program but it's really basic and it slowly becoming outdated so I may switch for something else that's free in the future.

Now onto the footage. Your best bet is to find anime websites that let you download a dub version of the anime you want to edit (if it's a show you just have to find footage without subtitles which is easier than raw anime in japanese). Dub versions let you keep the quality and theres no subs :D to get this footage I recommend 9anime BUT if an episode just came out subbed and I want to do an edit (cof cof my jjk edit) I have to work with what's available. I know there's a way to get anime raw footage but I don't know how, maybe one day.

So basically, I work with dubbed footage and random clips I found on yt if I didn't want to download a whole episode just for 1 scene.

After I get the song, the footage and the idea I just put the lyrics of the song in a Google doc and make little notes beside each line.

If it's true Sam is now an EP of OL, all of the time off makes sense. He always begged for more time off. Fully now am certain S7 is the last and EP status is great cashout. Now, the rumor he is a producer and narrator for spinoff, looks more valid. OL, Tall Ships, Starz, Sony are giving him placce, income, so why hustle, look elsewhere when other projects have crashed and burned? As said by others, he will be nothing outside of anything far from OL, doesn't have what it takes.

It is true, it was announced in some of the articles along with the cast joining season 7 and S confirmed it thanking a fan who congratulated him and Caitriona on it.

I think it is not the first time that actors on a long time running tv show get involved, first as producers and then as exec producers. So nothing really surprising about. It wasn't announce in a huge way, just along the more prominent news of new and old cast members on the new season. So don't know why to make such a big deal about it and why to connect it to all kind of rumours about the prequel. Nothing really is known about it except that it will be about the parents of Jamie.

As already said above, I don't think it is abnormal or anything and can't blame anyone for perhaps negotiating (or shall we say earning) the role of EP.

I think the "everyone knows they are paid much more for doing nothing" is exaggerated much. Productions really don't get on your tv set while people get paid large sums of money doing nothing and others getting underpaid doing all the work. At least I don't believe so.

I did a little research what an exec producer is supposed to do, what the difference is between a producer and an exec producer and also found out there's a difference between an EP on a movie vs one on a TV show.

Google tells me:

A Producer will oversee all aspects of the project, including production, budgeting, personnel, and more. An Executive Producer usually oversees one or two specific areas such as casting or scriptwriting but may not be involved in other areas like location scouting or post-production.

I sometimes get Anons asking me how much money he has or what his businesses are worth etc. I've seen some crazy video's on YT about it, and a while back someone in my comments claimed he had 240M. Lol.... nope... these are all made up stories. I've seen some numbers created by his accountants of the yearly financial statements of his business in the UK (apart from GGC), and believe me, not even close.... (drop the 40). Together with the real estate he owns (around 2M), you can do the math.

Not that I encourage everyone to sponsor his life, I think people should decide for themselves what they want to do with their money. What I'm trying to say here is, despite my criticism about him from time to time, I do not like these kind of made up stories and don't support the idea that he's doing nothing... he does actually work!

Could I ask you for advice on making YouTube videos, please? I'm thinking of making one, but I have no experience WHATSOEVER on it (and I mean, literally two days ago I googled a tutorial for editing videos to find out the name of main video editing software, I basically just entered kindergarten). So the broadest, most seemingly obvious advice would help immensely. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I'm still trying to figure out if you can make a video without talking.

Yes, you can definitely make a video without talking. I don't watch a lot of those vids, but there are plenty of people who use text-to-speech software rather than their real voices (some text-to-speech programs have gotten really good). You can also hire someone to read your script for you...If anyone has a site to recommend (where you can hire readers), please reply!

I've heard good things about HitFilm Express. It works a lot like Premiere, and there's a free version available. You can also use whichever free movie program comes with your computer or phone, though! I know of a YouTuber with over a million subs who edits his videos entirely on his phone.

I use yt5s to download YouTube videos. I download animated shows and movies from this version of KimCartoon and download live action stuff from sites like the Pirate Bay. Make sure to install a VPN before torrenting anything, btw. Last year I got an email from my internet provider like "we noticed you illegally downloaded a film :3" and BOY did THAT light my ass on fire to hide my IP. I currently use NordVPN, but there are probably faster ones out there lol.

If you go to the YouTube Studio tab on YT, then the "audio library" page listed on the left sidebar, YouTube gives you a great selection of no-copyright music.

I don't know what type of videos you want to make, but if you're interested in making review-style content, I've noticed that videos that focus on a specific topic tend to do better for small channels than broad reviews (example: "How A Snake Ruined Star Wars" performs better than "Rise of Skywalker Review"). In that situation you can use the snake as a vehicle to talk about the whole film, but a narrower premise tends to get more clicks these days. That, or titles like "In Defense of The Rise of Skywalker" or "The Rise of Skywalker Sucked" would still fare better than "Rise of Skywalker Review."

It's true: negative reviews perform better than positive reviews. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Do what you will with this information.

The algorithm will sometimes bury your video if your title or thumbnail contains words from this list. I've had one of my videos shadowbanned because I used the word "abuse" in the thumbnail. Some people will tell you that you should avoid swearing within the first minute of your video or so (because the bots will pick up on the bad language and restrict your video)...I've never tested this out, but. Better safe than sorry I guess.

Don't worry about monetization for a while, probably? You have to reach a certain amount of watch-time before you qualify for that program. If you do want to make sure your videos are monetizable later, though...use non-copyrighted music, and cut your clips so they're under ten seconds each. Copyrighted music needs to be under eight seconds to evade the bots. YMS explains this in the first couple minutes of this video: [x]

Don't put pressure on yourself to make a popular channel right out of the gate. Sometimes people do get a lot of attention right away, but most people don't start to get real traffic for at least a year? So yeah. Try to make whatever content you want to make and not worry too much about the numbers.

Can you please tell me how you make them (what apps or resources you use)? I want to make some edits of my own but I’m not sure how.

I only use Photoshop CC to edit my pictures and make my gifs. I look for royalty free stock photos to edit. My favorite sites are Pexels, Pixabay, Unsplash, Canva. They offer free stock photos you can edit (you need to create an account to download, but then you're good!). I never use Google or Pinterest to look for pics because those sites contain copyrighted material. If I want to make a gif, I go on Youtube to download scene packs of the thing I want to gif (you have to search for "name of the show/movie/character/ship scene pack" on YT and use a free program called ClipGrab to download the video).

I'll try to explain as quick and simple as possible, and I hope it's clear. I may make a tutorial because the process of making edits sometimes depends on how complex you want your edit to be. The first thing I do is think about the theme of the picspam. When I want to create a picspam about a character, I usually search for images that remind me of them. For eg. if I want to make a picspam about a bookish character, I find stock images of books, or a person reading, etc. After I found some pictures that satisfy me and decide how many panels I want my edit to be (since I need at least a pic for panel if I want to make the simplest edit), I can start my work on Photoshop or on any other editing program. Canva is a good alternative too.

The first thing I do on Photoshop is create a new document with a transparent background. For an edit like this one, I usually create a 400x600 pixel document because it's easier to manage and it's good quality. If I want to make a rectangular edit where the base is larger than the height I make the base 540px and the height varies according to how big I want my panel to be. On this edit, for eg, both panels are 540x540. It's just a matter of proportions. To make things easier, you can create as much as many new documents as the number of panels you want your post/edit to be (I usually create 4-6).

After I created the new document, I just open my pictures and resize them in order for them to fit the empty document I created. When the size of each pic I want to use is good for me, I drag each one on an empty document and edit each one singularly. To make the simplest edit, I use the text tool and the font Arial in all caps and bold and write the name of the character and the book series at the bottom or I write a quote or anything I want. If the picture is dark or needs to be adjusted, I edit the curves or color correction so that it's better looking or I just download .psd coloring files and drag them so the pics are automatically colored (you can find plenty on tumblr or DeviantArt by searching for "coloring psd"). Then, when I'm satisfied with it all, I save each picture as a single picture and then I upload the set on tumblr as it pleases me... and that's it.

I don't know if it helps but right now I don't have the time for a detailed tutorial with screencaps. I'll try to make one if you're interested :)

My Journey with Yuzu

First of all, this post is a VERY long post. It's going to be quite personal, so feel free to skip it if you don't feel like reading everything. Essentially, this is my journey - from first hearing about Yuzu, to actually discovering him and becoming his fan. I also share some thoughts about what comes next in this journey.

2018 PyeongChang Olympics

I was in university working on a project when I heard news that the Olympics were about to start. I have been watching figure skating on-and-off as I child, but had never actually followed a full skating season nor watched an entire competition. PyC was my opportunity. Also, I was not familiar with the skaters, since I hadn't watched competitions since around 2014-2015.

Unfortunately, because of my tight schedule and limited resources at the time, I was unable to find a live stream of the Olympics and I gave up trying to watch.

About a few months later, maybe Summer 2018, I got a recommended ice dance video (I have no clue why or how the YT algorithm suggested me that). It was from a practice session, I don't remember whose, I just remember clicking on it because I thought "figure skating, cool".

The next recommended video was the gold-winning performance from the men's discipline - of course I watched it and loved it. Yep, that was the first time I saw Yuzuru Hanyu, his PyC SEIMEI. But then something came up and I had to get off YT and completely forgot about him.

Spring 2019 (I think)

Fast forward a year and I'm on Pinterest looking up who-knows-what. And this photo appears.

I was in awe. He looked so strong, determined, broody, he looked like he was solving an equation in his head. Because of the all-black attire, I completely missed the fact that he was wearing skates and thought he was a model or something. Never tried to find out his name.

2020-2021

Then COVID hit. Life was put on pause. More fast forwarding. I watched the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and before the opening ceremony, I saw some talk that Yuzuru Hanyu was going to show up as the final torch bearer (speculation, more likely). Who is Yuzuru Hanyu? I looked him on Google.

This photo was the second that showed up in the search results.

It was quite the contrast compared to his first photo in which he was holding up a medal (later I found out it was a photo from the JNats 2020 victory ceremony).

So I went back to YT and saw that I had watched his PyC free skate. So I decided to watch his short program, too.

No, I still wasn't invested or interested in him. The summer Olys were starting, I was trying to keep up with several sports and my sleep schedule was a mess.

2022 Beijing Winter Olympics

I didn't want to miss the figure skating like I did back in 2018. So I got a subscription to watch the Olympics. I decided to get as informed as possible since I had already watched in 2022 the Europeans and Four Continents, too. So I joined figure skating reddit.

On there, before the team event of the Olys, I saw a bingo card and one box features "Yuzu shows up and does the FS". Who is Yuzu?!

That was my downfall. I know him, I've seen his previous Olympics programs. I decided to check his career achievements page - I was impressed then I wanted to know more about him.

I fell down and hard - in about 2 weeks I gathered so much information about him and binged almost half of his programs (every competition in chronological order), if not more.

I was rooting for him so hard, I read about his quest for the 4A, I saw his JNats 2021 Ten to Chi to and his first attempt at incorporating the 4A in a complete program. I was completely mesmerized by his resolve. Of course I found Planet Hanyu and started watching his interviews as well.

By the time the short program competitions rolled around, I was already Yuzu's fan with quite a lot of knowledge of his hardships and achievements. I also was aware of how bad the sport was becoming.

I am so glad I got to see Yuzu's SP, FS and gala live on TV. I was awake at 3-4 am just to watch him - my heart broke both during the SP and FS. But I knew I had seen something amazing, I had seen history made. I saw his Beijing practices, and his programs' medley - I knew I wanted to see him in person one day.

It's very hard to express exactly what I feel when I watch Yuzu skate, but it's like I'm transported to another world. I wanted so much more. And then the news about him participating at FaOI came. I watched those broadcasts with so much happiness.

I made plans to go to GPF Torino for the up-coming season. Plans which got shredded the moment Yuzu announced that he's going to continue skating as a pro athlete.

In retrospect, I got the compressed version of Yuzu's career - ups and downs - and that's what makes me happy. I saw his LAST competition - all of it, I'm happy for that. I'm sorry I did not see him podium, but that's another story.

I will continue re-watching his competitive programs, his galas, I will continue supporting him and finding every piece of media that features him.

I will do my best to one day attend one of his future ice shows, be it in Japan or another place.

I haven't known him for a long time, but he's made a great impression on me.

I finished reading his autobiographies on the night between 18th and 19th July. I learnt so much more about him. The next day, he left competitive skating.

Now I'm here, waiting for news about his future plans and what he's going to come up with. I am looking forward to his new programs. Yuzuru Hanyu's skating is still happening, on his own terms - that's what I care about.

So I'm going to show how you can vote on Idol Champ global and the Idol Champ for just Korean fans ) I learned on twitter from this other carat but I forgot their name so if you know it please tell me so I can credit them )

Anyways so what you will need is Idol champ and just a VPN you won't need to download another ver of idol champ

Step 1. Download A VPN ( the one I have is called Veil Duck VPN)

Step 2. Log out of your Idol champ App ( to log out by  pressing the right sidebar of your Idol Champ app once you do that exit out of the app completely 

Step 3. Start the Vpn ( when you open the app you will have to pick the country that you want to use a VPN for so you will have to pick South Korea once you do that then you will need to press connect

Step 4. Open Idol Champ again now since you are using a south Korean VPN you are now on Idol champ app for Korean fans you will have to log in again using the same steps for logging out if you have used the Ideal Champ before than you will know that you can log in using your Google accounts, facebook or either kakao or even make an account by using an email but I find that its faster to log in my using either google or Kakao

Step 5. Once you log in look for the show champion banner like the one in the picture, once you find it press it and vote (make sure you download the proof that you voted as im going to ask everyone to please repost this with their proof so we can get others to vote 

Step 6. Once you have voted then you're done now you will have to log out completely exit out of the app and then go and turn the VPN off once u do that log back in and just vote like how you normally do for the global one we are currently in first place in both the Korean and global one but 2nd place on both are catching up to us so please share this with other carats with your proof of voting and get others to help so we can get the boys more wins in the 3rd week just like home era plus since they rent promoting this week on show champion we don't know if they will even win or even be nominated so just to be safe please vote and share

So my little story to witchcraft is not that grand, but it does show that sometimes everything happens for a reason. Before I got into witchcraft I already knew I could sense, talk to, and “hear” ghosts and other entities. This was clairsentience but I didn’t know it at the time. 

Then family things happened and I had to temporarily move to Florida with my aunt and cousin. While looking through their stuff, I found a tarot deck. Remembering that it was the thing I always saw in movies, I wanted to go through it. But my cousin at the time believed the superstition that only the person who owns the deck can touch it. I said “cool”, took the book and read the whole thing and bought my own version of the same deck. 

Then I wanted to see if I could find a community on Tumblr, because it was my main social media at the time and of course that blew up. In the middle of me looking through the tag, I saw the witchcraft tag and the rest is history. My 4th anniversary of this blog is coming soon

To get deeper into witchcraft I mediated a lot, used my cards, read a butt load of books, looked at so many videos on YT and did small stuff. It took me a while before I did a spell with tangible items. Instead, I did spells that worked with the mind. And technically that's all spells but I bearly used any ingredients in the beginning. I gave myself time to look around and try things out. If I didn’t like what I read I wouldn’t touch it. If I was curious about it I would save it for later or write it down. And of course the things I liked I tried right away.

So I guess my advice to you would be to start small and read a lot. You can jump right in if you want but you don’t really know the basics of witchcraft. Look at different forms of media and how they tackled the topic of witchcraft. Look at videos, read blogs, go on other social media, read books (of course). Google it even. Don’t soak up everything, but just give everything a feel. I feel like there is something for everyone in the craft so you’re bound to find an interest in something.
