Remember that bestselling book about winning friends and influencing people? It's been a hit for ages because people want to influence others. In addition to being a decent human being, you can work a bit of magic to help expand your range of influence so others will respond to you in the way you deserve.

Light the candle, and say “Influence grow, increasing power, persuasive magic every hour.” Drip some of the melting wax on the tip of the twig, coating it completely, saying “Others will finally listen to me, I am in control of all I see.” Extinguish the candle, and carry the twig in your pocket, or place it in your office or workstation, to help you influence those who you may come into contact.

I have a silver hand mirror I've befriended. I traded it for a 50-piece box of chicken nuggets with a very hungry goblin. Honestly, it was a horrible trade at first. My reflection was honestly very cruel. I had half a mind to throw it away but I couldn't be that mean to another person so I left them in front of my tablet and let them watch whatever show they wanted. Once on a whim, I offered her candy and she politely took it from my hand and offered me a cookie in return.

Anyway, I'm offering you this mirror because I don't need to keep it anymore. I got my reflection out of it and it's empty whenever I peer into it now. I'm introducing her as my twin sister now, she's a little mean and overprotective, but very easy to win over.

So keep in mind, regardless of how your reflection acts, they are still a person trapped in a hand mirror.

I... don't know if I have anything that will help you, but I will accept the mirror, covered in a veil to hide it from sight. Take this, at least: a bracelet dangling with hematite letter charms that spell out 'unbreakable'. If any shatter, they reform overnight. You may notice they shatter often.

EAH Music Headcanons

I am slightly too scared of people judging my music taste to share the ever after high playlists I made so instead I will share some headcanons I have about their music taste!

obligatory mention that dexter is the biggest swiftie and convinced raven to get into her music

usually though raven prefers goth or punk rock music, maybe some metal when she's angy, some alt rock, but she has a sweet side and is trying to go against her mom so she also gets really into tswift

apple is kind of a basic baby gay UAHFJDJF like girl in red and phoebe bridgers vibes

darling likes oldies, billy joel, elton john, I need a hero bonnie tyler, etc etc (side note: she is okay with taylor swifts music but she is so fed up with dexter being obsessed with her)

90s music is faybelle and briars THING (although faybelle acts like she doesn't like it but she totally does) like NSYNC, backstreet boys, Selena, destiny's child that era is so them TO ME

cupid is open to listening to literally anything like she loves all music so much and she picks out songs for her radio show that she knows milton would never allow but he hasn't noticed yet so she keeps doing it (but if she had to choose she probably leans towards r&b, hip hop, chill vibes, and anything super unique, AND OFC any type of love song)

ashlynn loves anything relaxing, mostly classical music, jazz (loves laufey), indie, and folk (her playlists would have super ethereal, cottagecore picnic vibes) oh and! Ghibli music or music with those vibes for sure

hunter likes similar music to her but leans more towards the folk side (he likes listening to relaxing music to calm down when he gets too fed up with pesky)

Cerise likes indie rock and alt rock, but also I feel like she secretly loves some really girlypop Taylor swift songs

Cedar I think would enjoy r&b and classical (tho maybe more like movie soundtracks...) And maybe some folk and indie as well (like cupid she's probably pretty open to anything)

Duchess obviously listens to some ballet music just for practice BUT I think she'd also have a music taste that's really embarrassing to her and one time someone overheard her singing really badly in the shower (like to one direction or smth idk)

I just thought of this on the spot but maybe Humphrey likes edm LMAO

The wonderlandians are my fav characters but I don't have a solid headcanon for their music tastes because I think it would be so purposely chaotic and random and eclectic and strange

suggestion do you have... any wants? like obviously you do but like? suggestion my guy my ourple boy. both the easiest and hardest to write. you need a skill to say something to move conversation along but it doesn't fit any skill in particular? about 80% of the time you can have suggestion say it and it will make sense. but like actually characterizing him... how do i define you dude... what makes your character tick... urgh. i dont get you yet. im trying to understand but you are difficult.

Palamades' ghost creating a "bubble" within the afterlife that allows him to indefinitely hang out in a facsimile of his final memory is extremely Homestuck and I do think the scene where the bubble is introduced is the most Homestuck scene in all of TLT but not just because of the bubble mechanic, it's the expository conversation between Harrow and Palamades. Palamades first rambles about romance novels and then veers into a wild emotional outburst (from Harrow's perspective) and THEN he's like "oh yeah the bubble? Check this out" and talks about that for a while, Harrow is like "sick," then Palamades swings over into asking Harrow a bunch of questions because he's out of the loop... 90% of Homestuck is delivered through conversations that are structured like this. TLT doesn't feel like Homestuck to me most of the time but in this moment it sure did
