Weird question so feel free to ignore, but in your different species AU can gecko!Donnie lose and regrow his tail like real geckos?

I think a lot about the fact that he dropped his tail during the fight with Shredder at the end of the first season

don't worry, the tail will grow back!

...but it's much worse than the first one, which will make Donnie hate it. inactive and inappropriate in color. over time the tone will even out, but it'll take him a long time to get used to it (this idea is still raw, so perhaps there will be an update in the future)

With over 20 members currently on the QSMP and more on the way, it's almost impossible for a single person to stay up to date on everything that happens, even with help from QSMP's official Twitter recap accounts.

For people who are interested in QSMP's story, characters, and/or streamers but don't have time to watch hundreds of hours worth of VODs, I've created the QSMP VOD Timestamp Archive.

If there's a particular lore moment you missed live and can't find, search for it in the archive!

Timestamps include quotes, notable lore events, and funny interactions. Interesting or important moments from each stream are bolded for emphasis. I'm also adding short summaries for lore-heavy / eventful stream.

I've organized the document so it should be easy to navigate, and you can CTRL + F to search for specific streamers and/or events.

Complete VOD playlists, recaps, and additional resources are also included in the document for people who might be feeling overwhelmed by the amount of QSMP content out there. It's never too late to get into the series!

If you have a streamer you watch consistently, consider writing down important timestamps to help fellow fans! You don’t have to take detailed notes like mine – even one or two timestamps can be a real lifesaver. If you have any helpful timestamps you want added to the list (or even a 1 sentence summary of a particular stream), send it to me via DM so I can add it to the archive.

I am just one person, so unfortunately this archive is by no means comprehensive, but I'm constantly updating things and adding more streams and timestamps to the document. I've been working on this project for a while now, so even though it's not complete, I hope people find it useful!

Anyway, I'm just super excited for the upcoming fanfiction you're working on, and I was wondering if you could share some general head-canons about the original character featured in the artwork you posted—Yulia. Unless, of course, you want to keep it mostly secret for now, at least until the fanfiction is released. Then that's fine too! You could also write about other original characters that you have plans for in future projects—I'd love to hear about them! Just share whatever you're comfortable with about your characters.

aahhh 💌 anon, my beloved! i'm sorry i'm so late getting to this, but i've been thinking about it a ton. i can't tell you how happy it makes me when people are curious about my oc's!!!!

Yulia was the first oc i made for the boys! specifically for shipping with Homelander. she's changed a looooot since her initial conception in 2022. she started off as a supe, then i rewrote her to be a human working for Vought, and now i've swung back around to a revamped supe origin. i don't wanna spoil too much of the fic i have planned for her, but i do intend to do a full rewrite from the start of s2 forward. Yulia is going to be planted in the seven (instead of SF) as one step of a much larger scheme developed by the same russian team that took soldier boy (another plot i'm completely rewriting lol) where her job is to feed back information and ascertain Homelander's weaknesses, but in doing so she comes across his abusive origins and uh oh! things get complicated.

some facts about her are:

her powers are based on my own experience with phantom pain! she has the ability to manipulate the electrical signals that the brain uses to transmit information to the body. she can cause pain, pleasure, hallucinations, release hormones, all kinds of zany shit. she does run the risk of frying her own brain or causing it to send the same signals through her own body, though. manipulating someone else's nerve cells can confuse her own system into thinking there's a missing input somewhere, which can trigger debilitating migraines and other phantom pains.

her supe name, "Empress," is a play on the word Empathy, since her powers can be used to detect and influence someone's emotional state. it's also an inside joke about how desperate she is to impress her higher-ups and live up to expectation.

her upbringing has made a chronic people-pleaser out of her. she sincerely believes her powers are not her own, and that she owes it to the people who raised/made her to use them for others.

she has a big heart and is a bit of a crybaby. the character arc i have planned for her is overcoming that aspect of herself without losing the gentleness she's managed to hold onto.

she loves cheesecake so much. just so, so much.

To input another pov to the s2e5 conversation, I personally brushed off the single dad comment from earlier in the ep, chalking it up to clunky exposition dialogue (oh they need to show how he has his hands full in one line and make it make sense) and THEN the fit check happened and my eyebrows raised to the my hairline, and THEN Don dropped that "[...] or did you follow me home? ;)" line with THAT attitude, and my had to cover my mouth going, what's going on...?? lmao from an extremely jaded tv watcher who almost never ship anything except canon events.

Truly think the world collectively shook that night thanks to the number of viewers leaning forward in their seats with hands over their mouths and awe in their eyes 😂💖

But really though, there will NEVER be proper explanation for what happened in ep 5 other than Loki's canonical impulse to impress Mobius at any given moment finally extending to 90s Hugh Grant rom com territory (as anything should, tbh) or it being a hint that on Don's timeline he'll eventually meet *his* Loki and the two of them will settle into suburbia with the kids and jet ski off into the sunset as fandom intended and I'm personally fine with either option lol

omg i'm so so sorry i really do talk about a bunch don't i? i've always got a bunch of fics going at once so no matter what i feel like writing i have something i can jump into... which must make keeping track a nightmare. so yes! let me recap for you:

in no particular order we have:

shirt-sharing fic: this one keeps changing (and taking longer to write than i wanted lol) but essentially the bare bones idea is matty borrows a shirt from george before a interview with the whole band and it Doesn't Go Unnoticed.

new parents fic: a brief glimpse/collection of glimpses into the life & times of new parents george and matty!

the "if i believe you" fic: based on a line in a poem: "God did a very good job with you." it's in the country recording studio/abiior-era and matty just has a lot of thoughts about how God makes good things-- of course He does-- but he, himself, is not one of those things. but george is. george is divine, matty just is. (very prose/internal monologue heavy and i'm loving writing it tbh.)

non-famous!matty fic: george, ross, and adam are still (a version of) the 1975. waughy has this really nice officemate at the uni he's teaching at that's a TA/PhD candidate for the lit dept. george has to pick waughy up for rehearsal one day and the rest is history... we just get to see matty being The Biggest Fan of the 1975 and also, entirely by coincidence, being bespectacled and having hot takes on books (that i'm reading...)

the gatty ft. raughy fic: matty is apparently the last person to know that two of his closest friends/bandmates are dating and he's confused that 1. he missed it completely 2. everyone else (including his own husband) seemed to know but him and 3. they let him just Be That Oblivious for years. he starts paying closer attention and enjoys seeing his friends happy (with the correct context now)

camera roll collection: basically i found a bunch of candids (taken by the band/jordan) of matty and/or george and said, context be damned, i'm using this as a photo prompt like i'm in middle school and this is a timed essay. first picture is this 2019 pic of matty at the airport.

the hours of the left behind part ii: this fic was originally intended to be a standalone of the hours right after george drops matty off to fly to barbados. but now part ii is when george picks him up and tries to help matty readjust to being home. but also matty begins to sees how george was while he was away (having put on a brave smile every time matty called).

(be my) god and country ch 3/epilogue: not sure how i want to expand this universe bc i really love the foundations that fic has for timelines/ideas on certain aspects of their relationship that i want to keep returning to and building on (and not rewriting again and again lol) BUT i have ideas for a honeymoon maybe, a wintering-type fic where they go home for christmas, they talk about having kids... it's a whole world of possibilities!! open to suggestions...

Hi y'all! Looks like I'm going to continue doing character analysis lol. So, it's time for HSMTMTS Appreciation Week Day Two: Favorite Dynamic

Now, my favorite dynamic is seblos. And I will talk about them a bit, but I talked about them yesterday, so I wanna focus on some of the others :).

First of all, Ricky being besties with anyone heals my soul <3. He's just such a good friend. With Big Red, with Carlos, with Nini when they weren't together (think season 1), with everybody really. Also, @phoebenpiperx wrote an amazing fic about his friendship with Seb this I totally recommend, and totally believe now as well.

But anyway, about Big Red, for example. They're like, the most supportive besties ever. They tell each other all the tea, they're always there to cheer each other on (BATB auditions, the fact that Big Red joined crew accidentally just because he wanted to be there for Ricky, etc). And one of the moments I love the most is Ricky coming after his breakup with Nini. Big Red just immediately gets up and hugs him. Also, an underrated part of their friendship is how they manage to make each other laugh. Like Big Red in 1x05 when he starts pretending to be Gina. I just- honestly I love them so much <3.

Not to talk about another Ricky dynamic lol, but I love his dynamic with Carlos! And the thing I find really interesting, is it kinda reminds me of his and Gina's dynamic. Not dating, obviously, but think about it. In season 1, Ricky and Gina have a special connection in the beginning because they're both outsiders. Carlos and Gina have that same connection, explored with the co-choreographer thing in season 2, but it's a bit more tumultuous (thinking of 2x04). And Ricky and Carlos do as well. I've never spent too much time thinking about it before, but it's interesting. Of course, all of the Wildcats are outsiders to some degree (that's kind of how theatre is lol), but it's definitely highlighted in the way these three interact with each other. And yet somehow, those three relationships are all completely different. It's SO good, and it's how you know the writing is good.

Lastly (besides a bit about seblos), I wanna talk about Kourtney and Seb! I seriously love their relationship :D. It's just so cute 🥰. And theatre family (Kourtney being Seb's mother lol) really can go deep lol. I've consistently called someone my ex-husband for a year (as in "Hi ex-husband" "Hi ex-wife"), and that show didn't even go on lol. Also, their friendship gave us the wonderful "Seb was struck by lightning" information, which is lovely xD. Now one thing I personally think exists in their dynamic, but we don't really see, is being "side characters". Like, not literally, and Kourtney has definitely been getting more and more focus (as she should!!), but more in their lives. Kourtney as costumer, Seb as accompanist. Kourtney as Nini's best friend. And as I mentioned yesterday in my last post, I see Seb as kind of "the positive one". And sometimes that can be isolating. I'm not quite sure how to explain what I'm thinking here lol, but I hope it's getting across. I just think they have kind of a commonality in stuff like that. Also, I'm pretty sure they're gonna be sharing the bond of Sharpay soon (as in technically we don't know Kourtney is Sharpay yet, but like xD it seems pretty likely lol), so that's another point xD. And of course, them telling each other they can do anything in 1x08, and the ~thinking jazz~ scene in 2x03 are both amazing and so lovely :'D. They just genuinely listen to each other, and try to help each other out (even when dealing with their own stuff), and I love that for them :).

Anyway! Now a bit about seblos. I'm not gonna repeat what I said yesterday, but I do want to say a few more things about them! First of all, their reactions after Carlos asks Seb to homecoming are ADORABLE!! The fact they were both equally excited kills me (in the best way possible) :)) :'DD. Also, I of course have to mention the significance of dance in their storyline - Carlos giving Seb lessons, homecoming, In a Heartbeat, and Camp Prom. There may even be more! It's just such a sweet parallel :'). And it's especially cool to see since Rina has the same thing - and they seem to be the longest lasting endgame couples (based on Rina's development, not when they started dating). Interesting 👀. Also, considering that dance is so important to Carlos (and it's widely thought of in the fandom that Carlos really only had dance for a long time), and seems significant to Seb (from being the only musical theatre person in his family), it's extra sweet to see it brought into their relationship :'). And don't even talk to me about how the whole video situation in 2x05 relates to that. I guess I'm just kind of thinking, they had dance in different ways, and dance kind of honestly brought them together, and it continued into their relationship :). Oh and speaking of 2x05, Seb wanting to do all of that for Carlos is literally the cutest thing ever <33. They love each other so much your honor, and I love them :'D.

And to think I thought this post would be short lol. But, I hope y'all enjoyed reading my thoughts on some of the relationships in HSMTMTS. Don't get me wrong though,I totally love every one, and I may talk about some more I'm the future :D. But yeah! I had fun with this :). Hopefully I can do something for each day! I'm definitely enjoying getting to share my thoughts about some of my favorite characters (and such) :D.

This one. This one sticks with me. Aaron wrote a very long entry in our journals that opened like this back in November, and... I don't know. He hit on something. I find myself repeating "there is nothing they can do they haven't already done" a lot. And somehow we are now in therapy and beginning to deal with/process the rage and not just self-destructing with it, so I just know he laid some groundwork to start that path. I just don't remember what came between November and now. It was such a fucked up winter.

Dearest mutuals,

I need more songs to cry to, songs that just open the floodgates, you feel me.

I currently have an emigration to do list which is hella long and a crumbling relationship with my mum and also with one of my former best friends and well, shit really hurts. but I'm pushing through. pushing through so much that I regularly lose contact with my feelings and go numb. which sucks heavily. I don't like it. it's not good for me.

I found that crying it out to sad songs for at least 10 mins is a great release and I've prescribed it to me every third day now.

So please help me expand my playlist ❤️

Currently on my list, so you get a glimpse of my vibes:

#1 saddest Bruce song ever, absolutely destroys me every time. songs starts at 5:25 (before that he shares a story about his youth, his father and draft letters to Vietnam)

The song is about a man who had to marry at 19, because that's what you do when your girlfriend is pregnant where they're from and raised to "do just like their daddy done". and they very much once were in love as teens, but due to their lives being forced like that, they lost their connection and the hurt he feels about that is utterly heartbreaking to me. trapped with a person who once loved him and who he loved back in a life neither of them willingly choose, just enduring the present and grieving for what they once had 😭

#2 Taytay singing about loss. it's quite relatable to people how lost someone too young, had a miscarriage or also just wonder about the one that got away. the song itself is not specific about what type of loss, but it cuts deep for me

#3 Miss Chappell hitting it hard about mother-daughter-relationships, moving far away from your hometown and ultimately disappointing mommy by being your own fucking person who lives a very different life than expected of her. but she's finding home there, outcast from her biological family and finally really belonging somewhere

I think these three songs are enough.

The overarching themes are very obviously:

"having to get outta this place!" as Bruce would say,

family estrangement, especially the mother-daughter-shittiness, though I would also take dad-centric stuff and can also identify with son-perspectives,

and LOSS. like just in general losing sth or someone dear, or losing yourself.
