Firstly, I THINK it’s a little bit ridiculous to assume that, you know, what looks like a five year old child would be capable of single handedly raising his sister while living in what’s implied to be a poor town.

Like I just.. I don’t see that happening? I don’t think Kai would physically be able to comprehend the idea of making money or buying food or anything that a caretaker would have to do. If Kai was the only person taking care of Nya then I think. They’d both be dead or out on the streets rn not in the blacksmith shop and being a ninja.

Like I just can’t see that ever working out for them. Nya was a child but so was Kai. How would he ever have any of the concepts he would need to take care of Nya? It’s not like he had a phone or a book on how to magically grow up or even had the comprehension skills to look for one. His parents wouldn’t have taught him about money or food or how to cook or all these parent concepts because he was literally five years old.

So instead, I raise to you, the time Nya and Kai mention their old babysitter.

Nya having a memory of the babysitter but NOT her parents implies that Mrs. Grumbmiller was actively taking care of Kai and Nya AFTER Ray and Maya got captured. In other words, they did have guardians.

Her being a babysitter either implies that Kai and Nya were watched over by several different people taking turns, or by a single person who occasionally left them in the hands of a babysitter. Either way, they did have people to take care of them.

I don’t think Kai ever raised Nya. Their relationship is just sister and brother. They never act like Kai had anything to do with raising her, because he didn’t. They both had guardians watching over them until both of them were capable of handling themselves and running the blacksmith shop. Kai never had anything to do with it, it was their guardians.

I just saw this post and it reminded me of the fact that I’ve actually seen a lot of people say that while they believe that byler will happen, they don’t think that Mike’s sexuality will be addressed and that he’ll stay unlabeled. And quite frankly, that logically just doesn’t make any sense!! We need to dive deep into Mike’s struggle with his sexuality in order to actually get byler endgame because sexuality just plays a huge part for the character, in this relationship and plot point. Mike Wheeler can’t accept being in love with Will if he doesn’t accept his sexuality!! And Mike’s character arc also does not revolve around Will. Sure, byler is part of it but the crucial factors are his internal struggles and simply not addressing any of that would literally erase almost his whole arc and be a ginormous disservice to the character!!!! We also literally wouldn’t get any canon confirmation that Mike isn’t the one dimensional character that the ga makes him out to be and that’s a huge loss on our side.

And while I totally respect the headcanon that Mike is unlabeled, in my opinion it’d be illogical to leave Mike unlabeled in canon. Simply because byler becoming canon means that all the queer coding we’ve picked up on was 100% intentional!! And I personally think that all the analysis pretty clearly hints at the fact that Mike is gay because there has been a huge emphasis on Mike not being attracted to girls! So why would they set up Mike’s sexuality to be so unambiguous and then not reveal it in the end? Why would they hint at him being so clearly gay throughout the whole show and then not confirm it? It just wouldn’t make sense because we as viewers and the creators literally wouldn’t get any payoff for planting and finding those hints!

Byler is literally not some totally new entity separate from Mike and Will as characters! Byler is made up of both of them so it cannot happen without satisfying arcs for both Will and Mike! And therefore it cannot happen without addressing Mikes sexuality and internal struggles!!!

Also, Weiss showed more distraught emotion of accidentally launching Jaune off the tree than outwardly (for the audience) showing anything (immediate) following Ruby’s suicide. Not even viewing it with a shipping lens, this is extremely weird.

Exactly, like this is pure objectivity in the situation. Weiss has known Ruby longer and has had more time with her than Jaune in general. It’s safe to assume that she would feel a much more degree of distress over her partner than Jaune who is basically a good friend and confidant. If anything it would have been perfectly fine if weiss had her moments to be worried and distress about Ruby just as much as she was concerned about Jaune getting to his realization in this episode. If it was even then that’s fine! But to totally have her not have any worry about Ruby does not make any sense.

I’m not even upset with Jaune or Weiss making him feel better, it’s the fact that they used that moment with them right after what happened with Ruby. And then with everyone else basically just being happy all of a sudden afterwards too (AKA Yang smiling during the group hug scene). Like what??

like if it was an error because the pronunciation is difficult then i get it but it’s not that because people insist words like jose and stay rhyme for some reason? or literally write down “jose (ho - say)” ? when that’s not right at all?

or at least none of the dialects of spanish across latin america or spain that i’ve heard sound like that. where does this idea come from?

ive been seeing a lot of aonung/neteyam art recently and somethings been bothering me

surely neteyam would be the broader/taller one? he is forest navi, they place emphasis on climbing, so neteyam would have a strong back and arms (therefore being pretty broad), and they would need the height to have a further reach when climbing. however aonung however is water navi, they place emphasis on swimming, alot of that is in the legs and core so he would have a stronger core and legs, making his torso and legs bigger, whilst also having long limbs to give him more power.

so logically, they’d be the same height, with neteyam having broader shoulders and aonung having more muscular legs.

not the tiny, skinny neteyam that people often write/draw to comply with weird stereotypes

Does anyone have any food habits that’s literally make no fucking sense?

So like its 2 am and my brain has been thinking about this for a while and honestly I feel so bad for my mom, because I know she was right (for once) about certain things that involved food with me growing up.

This turned into me ranting about food.

Like I know that no matter how you cut your toast/sandwich it will taste the same but god damn the triangle cut is the right way. It just tastes wrong when it’s a rectangle or in any other form. (Though with peanut butter sandwiches, crustables are an acceptation)

I also know that Spaghetti sauce that is mixed in with the pasta is exactly the same as it just being place on top of the pasta. But god damn it my brain won’t allow me to eat it if it’s mixed. (Acceptation being when it’s left overs)

Pizza is pizza but circle pizza is superior to sheet pizza fucking fight me

Strawberry Cake pops will and always taste better then regular strawberry cake. (It’s the exact fucking thing different form, and I hate Starbucks cake pops)

Relish is basically pickles but if you even think about bringing that shit near me I will deck you (I love pickles)

Mashed potatoes taste the same whether you mix them with a mixer or not. But, god damn I want them mixed with a mixer even though most times the texture is the same along with flavor.

You can not simply just fucking bake fries and get away with it, they are named fries for a reason so fucking fry them 😡 (for me, I know some people can’t handle grease)

Bananas are bananas but none of them ever taste the same. I know it has to do something with ripeness but for the love of god ice cream shops have the best ones, but if I bite into one and it doesn’t taste right I’m spitting it out.

Trail mixes taste the same whether you eat them randomly or pick and organize all of them and then eat all of the m&m’s first. (Does this stop me from separating it, no)

Turkey sucks ass on thanksgiving, or the first day it is cooked. It is far superior as left overs even though it’s exactly the same thing.

Eggs are wacky as fuck, scrambled eggs taste amazing and are good for the first two bites and then after it’s immediate regret.

All of Mcdonalds chicken nuggets are the same, but each shape tastes different to me (I worked at Mcdonalds and have cooked and seen with my own eyes that they are all the same)

Anything with the name casserole in it was created from satans balls and deserves to go into purgatory or be force fed to bigots as punishment.

Shepards pie can not be made with cream corn, it just can’t has to be made with regular

Frosting is overrated

Mac and Cheese has to be creamy, for the love of god don’t bake it. (It tastes the same but oh my god)

Fruity Pebbles are far superior then coco pebbles
