Would be the most mature on the outside but on the inside he’d be ☹️☹️☹️. “I don’t even care about what she’s doing” [checked your instagram and other socials to see if you’re grieving as well or seeing someone new] He wouldn’t necessarily go out dating looking for a rebound he’d focus on his craft in all honesty and might even seclude himself a little bit. I see him taking a break with his s/o instead of just flatline breaking up and once he feels like he has emotionally healed as far as he can he’d return and it would be pretty serious like in a private closed space he’d want to talk everything out and NEEEDS you to be honest abt everything but he’d just want you guys back together and for both of you to be happy.

Eunseok

(I feel like Eunseok is aware that he could potentially fall victim to the “the one that got away” trope) but anyway. He’d be the biggest nonchalanter to ever nonchalant 😭 might even try to stay mutuals/cordial with you. Would date, see other people, have a mini roster and fwbs going on. But as soon as he realizes everyone else is boring him and wasting his oh so valuable time (And he hates. To waste his time.) he’d get so irritated at himself for letting go of such a good thing and would criticize criticIZE CRITICIZEE himself. Forces himself to not run from/internalize how he feels he’d reach out again, wouldn’t be the most sappy return ever he might even joke about what happened but he’d be as honest as he could ever be and would surprisingly admit where he fucked up.

Sungchan

His pride and the hurt he carried during the time apart would hold him back so badly. Would improve himself and boss up similar to Shotaro to show you what you were missing; try to find attention and praise elsewhere. But when he realizes you did the same thing and also became better in every way possible physically, mentally…and that people still have their eye on you like they did when he first met you..he’d cave. Would HAVE to shamefully put his hurt and pride aside. Cue his dramatic serious text at 11pm and him asking how you’re doing to see if the good things he’s heard about you were true (prays you say no when he asks if you’re seeing anyone) would ask you to meet him somewhere that was important to you two and nostalgic. Almost kills him to be wrong but has to accept it 😭

Wonbin

He’d be like “whatever” since he knows that so many girls want to be in your place, might even consider sliding back to that one ex. Would be torn between just letting things go back to normal but his stubborn stagnant attitude would leave him stuck in a victim state. But then once the pain slowlyyy seeps in and that what you two had was something genuine and you were one of few people that actually understood him and physically compatible with him then on the inside he’d lose it. Would have a wayyy more sappy lovey dovey way of coming back. Cue him using music in some way shape or form as his way of coming back. Would probably want to physically see you in a place that he’s most comfortable with.

Seunghan

So so sassy. Honestly he’d walk away pretty fast but would miss you pretty fast right after. He’d hesitate but only because he knows that he probably got a little mean when you two split and that you might not even want to talk to him. Tries to go dating around but wakes up and gets it together once he sees/hears that you’re talking to someone new (10 extra points if it’s someone he doesn’t like or thinks isn’t even close to how attractive he is ) . Tries to be cool about it but is hurting inside, would ask everyone for advice. The emotional side would take over and he’d just have to listen to how he feels and think later. His way of coming back is essentially him outdoing whoever has you on their sights or him showing you the epitome of affection. He’d have to force his virgo mercury to work and speak UP and apologize.

Sohee

Would seem pretty ok and normal compared to everyone else similarly to Eunseok. Talks about you but wants to jump someone if THEY try to talk about you. (“can’t believe she’d do this” “yea she’s crazy asf” “Don’t say that 🫤.” ). (Cue him singing “When I was your man” by Bruno Mars 😭). He wouldn’t want to constrict and limit himself or you after the breakup so he’d also try to date/talk to other people. Has to give in and accept that thinking about you while hanging out with someone else is a CLEAR indicator that he needs to get off his high horse and return. He’d probably word vomit about how he feels about everything and apologize but also goes on this passive lecture on how you two shouldn’t allow each others feelings to rip you two apart like that again and the principle of it all.

Word vomit pt.2. Could go two ways. Way one if the breakup was on good terms/mutual after the breakup he’d probably remain friends or still be in contact with you, then once he realizes he can’t just move on at the snap of his fingers and realizes that every person he’s with has resemblance to you whether it’s physical/personality he’d impulsively talk to you and get right back if he can. If it was on bad terms it’d feel pretty cruel ngl like you’d feel like he kinda just disappeared and made his way elsewhere..but once he’s alone with his thoughts he’d have to realize the errors of his way or the faults on his side he’d IMPULSIVELY come forwards with how he feels, would probably ask you to dinner and have the conversation there and says everything that he has to.

You and Mina laugh as she tells you yet another story from patrol, for whatever reason she always had crazy things happening while out. You guys had made the joke that she has more stories on weird situations than actually saving people.

You and her walk up to your home, bags in hand, and start fumbling with your keys to unlock the door.

You and her had successfully went shopping. Not for clothes, but grocery shopping since you and Shoto had been so busy the past few days you didn’t have time. Mina had offered to go with you, and of course you weren’t gonna turn her down.

You get the door unlocked and push it open, but before you can even look into your home you’re hit with a very unwelcoming scent.

Your mouth is in an immediate frown as you look up and around your home, your eyes falling on a familiar blanket covered lump laying on the couch. You set your bags down next to the door, instinctively going straight towards what you know is your alpha.

As you get closer his scent gets stronger, having an overwhelming layer of distress and pain all through it. It smells like garbage right after it rains, soggy and moist, but still having the garbage smell.

You round the couch and immediately crouch down, your hand instinctively going into his hair to slowly massage his scalp. He looks terrible. He’s pale, sweating, completely curled up on the couch with a blanket pulled to his chin, and his eyes closed.

“Sho? Alpha, what’s wrong? What happen?” Your voice is quiet and gentle, but as seconds tick by you only get more worried.

He doesn’t answer, so you move your hand to his forehead to feel it, and he feels hot. Very hot. And it’s not a healthy hot with how he naturally feels due to his quirk.

You can’t do much but frown at him, seeing how weak he is. You know he’s awake, but he’s physically incapable of even trying to give you any kind of response.

You glance up, momentarily forgetting about Mina and your groceries, but you can see her just finishing moving and setting all the bags down on your kitchen floor before heading back toward the front door. She gives you once last look, you mouthing a quick “sorry” and she responds with a nod and wave before closing the door.

You turn your attention back to Todoroki, still looking over his features and condition. “Ok, c’mon Sho, let’s get you to bed, ok?” you say gently, moving your hand and rubbing your thumb in small circles on his cheek.

You move to push the blanket off him, getting a glimpse of his hero suit that he still had on. That only makes you frown, thinking about how this morning he’d got up and left without a problem, but also thinking about the fact he must’ve been feeling so bad he came home and immediately collapsed on the first thing he could.

You try to wrap your arm around his, wanting to help him try to get up, but his body is complete dead weight on the couch.

This isn’t super out of character. Whenever he gets sick his body always goes into over drive and shuts down, making moving and doing simple things even harder, but something about this was still different and you could tell.

Even when he was sick, he’s still be somewhat responsive and cooperative. But now, he’s complete out of it.

You look at his face, seeing his mouth slightly agape as he takes in labored breaths, and hard to tell, but his eyes are actually slightly open.

While looking over him you notice his scent glands. More importantly, you notice the way the top of his hero suit is shrugged off, almost like specifically for his scent glands, like somethings bothering them. While you tried to move him you’d managed to turn him on his back, so you can see both of them. They don’t look too good.

They look puffy, strained, almost blue, if not that, definitely red. Plus, the texture didn’t even look like his skin. They looked weirdly moist and “soupy,” like they felt prickly or squishy. You knew that couldn’t be good. You knelt down again, reaching your fingers out to try to graze and feel them.

It’s an immediate reaction from Shoto when you come into contact. You don’t even get a split second to comprehend how it actually feels before he yells, growls, at you.

Honestly, you don’t know what the sound is he makes. It’s a combination of a loud growl, plus a intense scream of pain. Not even to mention the jolt his body does, plus the way his eyes snap open and he bares his teeth.

It makes you jump back away from him several feet. Your own instincts not even knowing how to react. Part of you wants to comfort the alpha in pain, but the other part is scared. Scared from the alpha’s reaction, your alpha’s reaction. You barely even notice the few chirps the leave your mouth as you jump away from him, fearful tears filling your eyes.

None of the emotions you feel last long though. The violent, loud growl from Shoto slowly turns into desperate whimpers as he curls back into himself, feeling the after effects and sting of his scent glands.

The first thing you can think of is to get your phone and call Recovery Girl, asking her to come quick and check on him.

While you wait, you move closer to the couch again, sitting on the floor but settling your hand on his head. Your body is working hard to make your scent overpower his, but it’s no use, it’s too strong.

However, it’s still there, and you know he can smell it, so you don’t miss the way his breathing seems to slow, getting less forced and strained.

Recovery Girl makes it in about 15 minutes. You get up and let her in, explaining what happened, and how he’s not responsive at all, except the one response he did give when you touched his scent gland.

She pulled out her kit and looked over him, and it didn’t take long for her to conclude he’d gotten an infection in the scent glands on his neck somehow.

How it happened could be figured out later, right now though, she had to treat them cause that’s the only way they’ll get any better.

“Would you like to change him out of his hero suit before I treat it?” she asks as she conjures up something from her kit.

“Uh? Should I? I can just wait until you’re done.”

“Well, yeah, you can, it’s just that after I treat it, there will still be some intense pain. He’ll be capable of moving, but I doubt he’d want to. So if you can, I’d suggest doing it now.”

You nod and get up, moving to your bedroom to get some sweats for him. You don’t bother getting a shirt, since you don’t want anything additional against his scent glands to irritate them.

You walk back out to the living room, getting down next to Shoto again and talking gently. “Alright, need you to work with me, ok? Gotta take this off.”

It takes some effort, but you’re able to get the full top of his hero suit off, the bottom half being a little easier. You slip the sweats on his body then take his hero suit and throw it in your bedroom for later.

Recovery Girl is finishing up just as you come back. “Alright, I’m gonna need you to sit right here and hold him up, preferably keeping him as close to your scent as possible.” You’re a little confused, and she can tell. “I have to drain the glands first, and then I’ll give an additional shot that should help the infection, plus some gel to rub over the gland. Judging by what you said his first reaction was, to get this fully done having you, his omega, near is probably the best course of action.”

“Oh…ok.” You’re not thrilled from the knowledge that your alpha is about to be in intense pain she just explained, but you know it’s the only way to help, so you have to ignore the weight your heart feels toward putting him in more distress.

You do as she says, using all your strength to lift him into a sitting position. You straddle his lap and tuck his head into your neck, letting your scent flood his senses.

It’s the first time he’s given a real reaction not due to the pain, but he weakly wraps his arms around you, his head snuggling just slightly deeper into your neck. It’s almost nice, sensual, but you know it won’t last.

“Alright, ready to begin?” you hear Recovery Girl ask from behind you.

“Yeah,” you respond.

She stands, looking over your shoulder to his, lifting her hand with the needle she’s going to use to drain his first gland.

You close your eyes the second the needle comes into contact with the sensitive skin. Shoto’s immediate reaction is the same. He jolts, but you hold him, cooing and purring in his ear as you use a hand to run through his hair, trying to calm him.

Tears fill your eyes as you feel his mouth instinctively open and bite onto you, his teeth digging deep into your flesh. You’re not sure what hurts more, his teeth digging into you, or his nails into your back. His hands had been rested around you, so when she touch him they immediately closed, his nails growing as a defensive mechanism.

Recovery Girl moves as quick as she can, pulling the syringe and draining his gland. Once it’s fully drained she sets it to the side and grabs the second one, ready to start again.

Just like the first time, it’s the same, only this time since he’s already attached to you, he only digs deeper, and you can’t help but let a few chips slip past your lips, trying not to let tears spill from your eyes.

“Are you alright, Mrs, Todoroki?” Recovery Girl checks.

“Y-Yeah. Yeah, I’m fine. You can keep going,” you say, trying not to let your voice be too wobbly.

Recovery Girl continues to work, draining the second gland, then getting the separate syringe and needle for the shot.

When she sticks it in his first gland and starts injecting the liquid, Shoto can only whimper and shake against you, his body try to fight off the pain, but not being able to.

“Shh, its okay alpha, it’s okay. Almost over.” You coo to him and rub the back of his head, holding his body against yours and trying to make your scent as strong as possible for him.

Once Recovery Girl finishes the shots, she puts the gel on each one, then bandages. Each time she came into contact, Shoto’s grip on you got tighter, and you know by now your blood is in his mouth and on his hands, but still, you don’t care. He’s your alpha, and you need to do this to help take care of him.

“All done,” Recovery Girl sighs as she pulls away after putting the last bandage on. You start to pull from Todoroki, trying to remove his mouth and nails from you.

When he detaches, you help him slowly lay down, looking at his face and seeing his eyes open. They’re still only half way, but that’s the most they’ve been since you were there. You give him a smile and lean to kiss his forehead. Even though his eyes aren’t fully open, you can see the tears in them, you know he’s in way more pain than some teeth and nail marks.

“Would you like me to treat that?” Recovery Girl asks, referring to the marks.

“No. I’m be fine,” you assure her.

She nods. “Ok. If the infection comes back or you have any other problems, call me again. These are the pills he should take, 2 a day, morning and night, for 8 days.” You agree, taking the bottle and both say your goodbyes as she makes her leave.

Once she’s gone you quickly excuse yourself to the bathroom, checking your back and neck for any dripping blood. You clean up and change your clothes, grabbing your favorite blanket from your nest and wrapping it around your shoulders, joining Shoto back in the living room.

His scent still isn’t normal, but you can smell more of his natural misty peppermint scent then you could before.

You join him on the couch, slowly lifting up his head, earning a few grunts and whimpers, and you slide under, letting his head come back down and rest on your stomach.

You purr and run your fingers through his hair, the rest of the night being the two of you and his recovery. Even though things didn’t go anything like you planned for the day, it’s ok. Anything for him. Anything for your alpha.

It’s funny you should ask, I just thought of an idea for a multi-chapter story this morning! I always tell myself that this (whatever I’m working on at the time) will be my last story writing about Mapi and Ingrid (you guys are going to get sick of me writing about them eventually haha!), and then I get a new idea and I’m like welp gotta write about them! Twist my arm, truly 😌😅

So I’m working on drafting that, but no actual writing will be done for awhile because of my hand 😵‍💫 I have an appointment with an orthopedic doctor on May 16th, and will likely have to do physical therapy for it to get better, so it might be awhile before I can actually write anything.

Maybe I need to look into voice to text apps on my laptop or something lol!

I didn’t get a chance to watch the game today (I have 4 final exams this week isn’t that so fun!), but I was provided live updates by a friend and was SO happy the girls pulled out a win. I’m always out here supporting Barca’s rights and wrongs!

Never feel like you have to apologize for sending me asks; I’m happy to answer them. The one about Svetlana and the kids didn’t go through, sadly.

I really hate Kev’s dialogue in this scene. It’s awful and insensitive and it makes me uncomfortable every time.

And here’s the thing— he’s not trying to be insensitive. It’s actually the opposite. But the lines that they gave him go so far beyond what any reasonable person, no matter how awkward or clueless, would say that I just can’t accept them in good faith. They’re insulting to his character, and the fact that they were written at all is insulting period.

We’re supposed to laugh, but what’s the joke? That Kev is so stupid he would earnestly approach a conversation about childhood sexual abuse this way? That Svetlana was a victim of incest? It’s disgusting.

Nobody ever talks about this scene and it blows my mind because it’s such a brutal one. I know most of the fandom couldn’t care less about Svetlana’s trauma, but let’s take a look at this conversation from her perspective for a minute.

As the audience, we know that Kev is talking about Yvon and that the reason he’s asking Svetlana these questions is because he caught them together twice. But Svetlana doesn’t know this. At this point, she isn’t aware that Kev and V are onto her. She thinks he’s asking her these questions completely unprompted.

So not only is she sitting there having to listen to him ask her these poorly worded, invasive questions, but she also has no idea why he’s asking them in the first place. And to make matters even worse, we later come to find out that her actual father did rape her. So she was also dealing with the sudden, unexpected reminder of that trauma.

Her reaction speaks volumes— she doesn’t say a word and has to physically walk away. Normally, she talks about her father’s abuse in a very dismissive, detached manner, but in this moment Kev catches her completely off guard. You can visibly see how hurt she is.

Later, when she gets confronted again, that guard is back up. She admits to the abuse as though she’s no longer affected by it. But her reaction in this scene, and the fact that she never shared any details about that specific part of her childhood before, says it all.

Update:

I just saw a video on tiktok where after the boss fight with Scara, Kazuha walks up to kuni and tells him: “Scaramouche.. your chest is not empty, it’s full of love” and then he hugs him. And kuni says “One last time.. I will believe you human” and hugs him back. And it’s very hurt comfort and I cry. And this! Is the point!! I still want to specify that Kazuha loves him entirely (In this what if of mine where KazuScara exists), he wants to underline the importance of his feelings and emotions, his love and self. And that the acceptance of those feelings is the bravest thing, because it’s so hard to do! That he’s proud of him and he loves him, he matters and his heart does too. I don’t know if I’m explaining this well but I believe it’s a big thing for Scaramouche to hear. He needs some reassurance, some affection, some friendship, some love, someone who cares. (And don’t misunderstand, I’m happy that he is with Nahida now, she will take care of him and treat him gently “as a feather” as she said). But these are simply some messy sketches I drew during class because I needed some comfort (and it worked :’) I felt better afterwards, Kazuha and Scaramouche are a big comfort ship for me💕) so I’m not sure if from another person’s pov it’s as clear as it is for me. I needed to explain it.

I don’t know if Scaramouche really does not have a heart, we saw in the animation where he tells his past that he “rips it out of his chest” because he’s suffering too mush and doesn’t want to feel that pain. But is it real? Or is it just a figurative way of telling that he didn’t want to feel those emotions? Did he REALLY rip out his own heart? If yes where did he throw it? And why did he need to have one? Was it the gnosis? The game did refer to the electro gnosis as a heart, and Kunikuzushi was supposed to store it. Is the inside of his chest really empty? How does he work😭 Does he need a beating heart to live? (I know he’s immortal but how was he created?) Do archons have a heart even if they’re immortal? They can still die tho. Is Scaramouche even able to die? (I don’t wish it to him but is it possible?) he isn’t built like an Archon, he’s more like Albedo.. Does Albedo have a heart? (Cause he is an artificial person too). Scaramouche was then in search of his heart (the gnosis) cause he wanted it back and be worthy again, he sees himself as not good or worth anything, weak, the reason he was abandoned (in his view). In the leaks about him we saw his idle animations and we saw that he gained an anemo vision, that he placed it where his heart should be. And he admires it and is happy, we can see a small smile on his lips, and when he realizes he’s smiling and we can see it he gets flustered and covers his face with his hat. So.. he does have feelings and emotions (And what about the traveler? Does the traveler have a heart? Surely can feel emotions). Maybe I’m wrong but I tend to connect emotions to the heart. So I can’t properly imagine him not having his. There must be something in his chest that makes him feel what he feels. Even if he says that human emotions are useless and horrible he still considers the heart something important. And he’s very human as well (unlike the puppet of the shogun). To end this speech, I like to think that the fact Kunikuzushi is able to feel emotions is enough proof that he has a heart, deep down, and if he doesn’t physically physiologically, he still has something that acts as one. I don’t know if it beats or not, maybe not because Kuni would be able to feel it beat.. listen imma go on a little character study (read “rant”) here and go ahead and tell me if you agree (and writers out there- i’m not bashing you by any means; this is just my thoughts, write characters however you like that’s up to you and not to me) but like. i hate when fics try to interpret steve as like a legit bully. like it’s so out of character for him. yeah, i get he was like bitch-queen-of-the-eighth-grade or whatever but he isn’t and never was a bully. Every person that Steve has targeted/ fought in canon was someone who could definitely stand up for themselves and who Steve wasn’t all that much of a threat to.

like, Billy is literally his match. they have the same popularity standing, physical ability, sexual prowess all that jazz, THEY ARE THE SAME. what went down with them in season 2 was COMPLETELY fair. AND Steve tried to get Billy to leave before a fight even started. he wasn’t looking to hurt anyone.

And before all you jonathan protectors come after because “steve shouldn’t have fought him they aren’t equals” or whatever- CLEARLY they were well matched too! jonathan beat him for god’s sakes! everything about that fight was fair besides the fact that it was kind of sprung on jonathan with no warning.

yeah, there was the dirty move with the camera in the school parking lot, but let’s not forget this was AFTER jonathan stalked him and took pictures of him without him knowing. in that situation, jonathan actually started the problem and then HE had the upper hand because now he has these blackmail photos of them sleeping together! (not that it’s a secret they’re together, but the fact that it showed both of them in a compromising position. i mean, even if everyone knows you’re sexually active do you want pictures taken without your consent of you literally getting undressed) AND in another vein, steve smashing the camera was probably less about himself and the photos of him, because who was the compromising photo of? Nancy. Steve is defending Nancy, who- at the time-couldn’t protect herself.

and before you say, “well if he’s so nice, why does he hang out with tommy, who really is a bully?” because he’s in high school. because he’s a 17 year old boy. do you know any 17 year old boys? let me tell you- they are some of the rudest, most self-absorbed, ignorant dickheads to exist in humanity and it’s. just. how they are. high school juniors and seniors are basically just kids that have been abused by the public school system for so long that they’ve lived to become the villain. high school steve is absolutely not special.

and steve never hurts anyone that isn’t equal to him. he was always nice to barb (i mean, as much as a self-absorbed, ego-centric, horny teenage boy can be under the circumstances. i mean, he invited her to his party and he didn’t try to make her do anything she didn’t want or say anything mean to her), he just took over the kids because he needed to and he was never cruel even though he easily could’ve been (i mean, he was snarky and sarcastic but like. so am i. that doesn’t mean i’m an asshole; i’m just fun), he was totally chill when robin came out.

now, compare him to his foils in the show- billy has total disregard for who he picks on; he was willing to KILL lucas- a LITERAL CHILD- and he attacked Heather and he deliberately bullied Max

jason, as well, tries to hurt lucas (kid can’t catch a break 😭) AND took his goons to try and beat up the Hellfire kids into giving up eddie’s location, and there was all the drama in the finale with erica, lucas, and max. All people who WOULD NOT have a chance in a fight with him.

that’s the layer to steve’s character. he doesn’t fit his stereotype, he doesn’t fit his reputation, and he ISN'T a bully.

He did come across very condescending, you’re right! Everything he said just came out so wrong 🥴 I think he just rolled with it, making all these assumptions because he was blindsided by the news, and it didn’t add up with what he knew about his daughter. In turn, it made it seem to Oc that he didn’t know or understand her at all. Oc and Seokjin’s happy bubble definitely got popped 😭

Taehyung will appear in season 3 briefly! He was supposed to in season 2 but I changed things up a bit. It won’t be very important to the story, I just wanted to write him into it. He has played an important role in her life, despite not being in it for nearly 6/7 years, so I want to bring her some final closure!

I think because of her father’s reaction, it would be very easy for Oc and Jin’s relationship to take two steps back (possibly more lol) BUT they have come a long way from season 1. General Dating

 Once you achieved getting Mizuki’s good ending, and avoided his Yandere Route, he got more confident in being around you than previously. He almost returned to his old self, with the exception being that he got much more clingy and affectionate towards you. His teasings changed too! He enjoys teasing you with invading your personal space a lot. 

Really, there’s no need to turn pink, he’s your boyfriend now! He notices the way you wild slowly swing forth and back, the sleep taking over and your breathing slowing down. Sometimes you wonder if he felt the heart beat that lowered it’s pacing too. He thinks it’s funny that you’re able to fall asleep while standing, but falling asleep while you two stand in line for a Slushi isn’t the right moment. So he has to tickle you in these cases, getting a good laugh or a slightly irritated grump from you. Either way, he’ll always catch you and hug you tightly before you fall asleep.

 Always one of you is clinging to the other. Sometimes it can get a bit suffocating with Mizuki with how much he physically clings to you, holding your waist or hands wherever you are.  To be honest, I doubt Mizuki would be any help to overcome your procrastination. This guy would most likely even make it worse by keeping you up to date with your manwhas. He’s considerate enough to tune down his console while he’s gaming all alone. It just isn’t easy when your boyfriend is asking you every half hour if you’re soon done with your work, or why you didn’t finish it earlier. Does he want to help? Bold of you to assume that he would do his own paperwork. You’re better off being alone, and getting hugged once you join Kirara’s and Mizuki’s side again. Anyway, he will notice that you suddenly backed down from an intense conversation. He doesn’t really give you much of a choice and inquires more about your feelings on the matter. He doesn’t want to leave the conversation until both sides are happy, alas, he might just storm out when he’s feeling too upset in a discussion, returning later with the same upset emotions he had before. It’s going to take him a while to understand your viewpoint, and I imagine that the first fight could be very intense, and the next ones lesser and lesser until you two understand each other better, as to why you react and feel this way. On a positive note, I believe he’s always trying his best to make you smile. 

Inviting you over to his room when you feel upset, sneaking Kirara’s best snacks into your room, holding your hands and rubbing your knuckles and giving you light kisses on your temple.

(Random question again!) I was wondering, doesn’t it sound weird that Esmeralda told Ayisha she would reject Jack if he ever asked her to marry him? Like Jack is definitely not someone who would do anything, specially something so serious like a marriage proposal, merely for the sake of humoring someone. That would mean if he actually ever did that, he would really want it. And if she loved him that much, why would she not accept it? Do you think she was lying about that to both Ayisha and herself to, maybe, cover some of her disappointment on this matter?

so, the short answer is ...  yes and no.  she absolutely uses that as a way to cover up her disappointment that he hasn’t proposed  ( and doesn’t want to marry her, obviously ).  there’s no talking around the fact that she is desperately  in love with him and at heart,  still wants to marry him even if  rationally  she knows its a terrible idea.  before her captaincy,  she would have accepted a proposal from him in a heartbeat,  and if christophe hadn’t been a lying dickbag,  who knows  ?  maybe they would be an old married couple running a tavern in shipwreck cove right now.  but by the time she’s talking to ayisha,  she’s made her peace with the fact that he doesn’t feel quite the same way that she does  –– even if he does care deeply for her, perhaps the most deeply jack can care for a human woman –– but of course it still hurts.  of course it does.  the idea of rejecting him gives her some small relief and agency over her feelings for him.

but that being said, as things stand in canon at that moment,  I don’t think she’s lying: she 100% would reject him.  the biggest reason is because marriage is an economic proposition,  and as she explains in the same section,  she wouldn’t ever lend jack money expecting to see it again.  she cannot fully trust him,  so tying her financial future to his –– any future really ––  is disastrous.  this is even more true in the 18th century legal system where everything she owned would become jack’s and she herself would be a kind of property –– obviously,  since they’re pirates, and outside of the jurisdiction of the law anyways, they aren’t necessarily bound to that but it does influence what any kind of “settled down” future is going to look like,  and colors any interactions they might have in non-pirate ports. frankly speaking,  as a captain of her own ship esmeralda has complete freedom and financial independence, and a considerable bit of wealth that she controls;  this is different than when don rafael was still alive,  and she behaved more or less like an ordinary young lady would under her male relative’s wing. finding love & a protector through marriage was the natural flow of things.  but after his death, and she makes captain, any marriage would have to have a practical advantage for her to accept it.  she isn’t going to downgrade her economic independence needlessly, harsh as that sounds,  since she can have both love and physical pleasure as a pirate without marriage.

I also disagree that jack would only propose if he really meant it,  since in dmc he proposes to elizabeth pretty much only to shag ( not to say that he doesn’t genuinely care for her, either, only that that scene isn’t saying “jack has made a momentous life decision and is ready to settle down and be a husband to elizabeth” so much as it’s saying wedding = wedding night. )  and esmeralda has known him long enough  ( and gone long enough without his asking ),  that she very much expects any proposal to be a similar thing, a means to an end however genuine his affections –– for sex,  or money,  to keep her around, or even to make her happy  ––  rather than  a serious commitment to a future together and all that marriage entails.  it also feels kind of  ...  pointless ?  to marry him knowing straight out of the gate that he isn’t going to try to be faithful, and that he isn’t religious so the wedding isn’t a sacrament for him.  if he genuinely did want marriage,  jack would have to prove his commitment to her long before a proposal,  rather than through it.  I guess what i’ve left unsaid is that esmeralda takes marriage very seriously;  it’s not really the typical pirate affair for her where she would marry twelve guys in different ports just for fun ( lovers, yes, but not husbands ). when she takes her vows she means it, and she’s making a commitment to being a good wife :  she expects a good husband in return.

this is long enough already but just to end with the idea of marriage just as a partnership or a commitment / demonstration of love  ( which is what marriage between the two of them would be more than anything ).  esmeralda offers partnership to him and he refuses :  he chooses his own financial security and his position in the eitc over her ( and piracy ).  of course she doesn’t begrudge him for it,  even if it stings that he rejected her.  but that’s proof enough that jack isn’t that interested in a partnership with her,  and he isn’t willing to make risks to be with her / prioritize her or their relationship.  at least at that moment.  which just means ultimately that she doesn’t love him less,  she just adjusts her expectations.

- Midway the month of March is the WORST of his rut. Dragon mating season, he leaves his spot at the New Empyreans Throne, and goes to Spiritcrest, and stays in solitary for weeks on end so he doesn’t hurt anyone he loves. (Oftentimes, with such brutal mating urges, he’s more likely to kill someone than breed them 💀🔫. He is pretty forwards about it, he won’t mince words to explain why he has to leave. He rarely comes out, it’s best to leave food or gift at the base of the mountain.)

- while hand-to-hand is his go-to, he does also know mastery in scythe-wielding (what a twist -_-) and spear work.

- He hates his empyrean gear, he would rather wear his old time clothing. (Not ever gets all fancy for ceremonies, and complains about it under his breath.)

- his empyrean gear lacks a shirt because “Pride of our element is its physical strength, show yours.” Which Eizen says is “A rather stupid piece of reasoning.”

- the crystals along his tail are all obsidian! In fact, his horns are as well, though the outside looks like raw stone, but if broken, it’s a shiny black interior! (They’re SHARP!!!! He could craft spearheads and blades with these shards, so intimacy can be difficult…rip any blankets ever ;-: )

- Can literally cut a mountain in half if he so wanted to. That’s the kind of power this man got.

- Fluent in German, will curse you out in it.

- speaks in the Ancient Tongue when he wants to say something to Zaveid and keep the meaning hidden from others (only Zaveid and Lailah are fluent, while Sorey is learning.)

- won’t say it but if you leave him crystals, he will be very happy. (Also probably will rant about them to you without provocation. Beware.)

Hi, so my nervous system is regulated again. It isn’t as great as it was 3 months ago, but it’s a lot better than when I came back home from the viewing. The first time took years, the second time took 6 months, and this time around it took a month and a half to recover from being triggered. I’m so proud of myself and the fact that I’ve gotten a lot faster at being able to regulate my emotions and nervous system.

I just came here to say that since the death of my grandma, I’ve been inclined to begin, and be consistent with praying on the daily. I am here today to say that WOW. Does that shit WORK!

In less than a week my prayers were answered. I came into abundance that allowed me to effortlessly obtain the things I desired. (On the guidance and condition that what I received be invested into my personal health.)

I’m so excited!

I ordered some ceremonial cacao so I can work on open in my heart back up. (After years of getting hurt and losing trust in all people.)

I ordered some zeolite spray so I can do a heavy metal detox; but also because zeolite is a binder, I can finally begin my liver and parasite cleanse safely. 😩

I treated myself to boots and earmuffs I’ve been eyeing since last year. Idk if it’s cuz I’m getting older, or falls and winters out where I live have genuinely become a lot colder over the years, but a bitch’s inner ear and ankles be HURTING when she’s outside or in the car. 😭 Needless to say… this year I’m READY for the cold >:)

I got to order new jewelry for my philtrum and my double nostrils so I finally have a complete gold setup to match my septum. —— I’ve been wearing silver for almost two years straight now… silver was my color in high school, when I kept to myself and was more creative. Then gold became my thing for all of my college years. I felt I was a lot more outgoing and “take charge” and confident in that era.

I guess it’s time for me to step into my masculine energy and balance out my newfound feminine energy and skills. I’m steadily mastering the art of allowing things to just come to me. To be soft, open, and receiving. Flexible, and creating boundaries and speaking volumes with silence and withdrawal of my presence instead of the loud, verbal and physical violence that I’m used to.

When I’d operate out of my masculinity, I would chase and hound after things. I feel this time around, stepping into my masculinity is going to be more about taking the action and having the discipline to create and execute. Now that my feminine can safely express her desires, my masculine can honor it through action. I can now make my inner dreams a reality and manifest it onto the physical plane. 🥲

With my blessings I was able to do a huuuge nail supply haul. So now I can create and execute my ideas without limitations. ; u ;

Levi x Reader!

Timeframe: Season 3; Location: new Levi Squad hideout.

FYI: I kept it tame…I’m writing a second part though :P grinding, mentions of sex, fluffy, a lil plot

“You’re ribs are still broken Mikasa.” As much as you admire her drive and devotion, you along with Armin really wish she would take it easy…

“Isn’t that a bit hypocritical Section Commander?” Mikasa asks but lets you take the crate she was carrying to bring it inside.

“Of course it is but you have broken ribs I only have some stitches though!” Giving her a cheeky but cheery smile before you place the crate down on the floor next to the counter.

“Both of you are so stubborn.” Armin comments before going to find Connie to rotate who’s on lookout duty.

“Aw I’m not that bad am I?!” You say while while walking to look out the front room window. Being met with some silence you look over your shoulder.

“Objectively speaking, you’re worse. Hange is worse than either of you though.” Mikasa says before going back outside. You shake your head and look out the window to check the surrounding area.

“Where the hell are they?” Muttering to yourself you turn around to go check on Eren. His ability to turn into a Titan seems to only sometimes take a toll on his physical abilities. Thankfully Jean didn’t complain when you asked him to help Eren relearn how to steer a horse pulled cart.

It was about an hour ago that you returned from running surveillance via horseback with Sasha. All of the horses are pretty well behaved. However, you probably should have had Eren and Jean take your horse Mori, to practice with. He’s a patient horse and they tend to run yours and others patience thin when they have to work together specifically.

Just as you were going to check on the boys, you pinch the bridge of your nose hearing them arguing from a good distance away.

“How the hell did you manage to forget something this easy anyways?” Can’t Jean just take pride in the simple act of having to re teach Eren anything?

“Did you forget what species you were horse face? Or could you not make up your mind?”

“Oh that’s rich coming from you!”

“What’s that supposed to mean?!”

“Really?! Did you forget basic reasoning or are you just that much of an idiot?” At this rate they’re gonna end up hurting one another. You opt to flag them down so they don’t end up crashing.

“Are you both children?” You try yelling to get their attention. Behind you is where they’re suppose to leave the cart. There’s a section of fencing…that the horse can easily jump over. Not the cart though.

“Funny because it sounds like your just begging me to kick your ass. Titan abilities or not.”

“You’re really starting to piss me off!”

“Guys!?”

-thankfully Eren pulled the reins.

You put your hands out in front of you to signal to the horse to slow more now that they’re getting close. He abides.

-If you don’t show up Levi, you’re getting a taste of your own medicine.

When you and Levi began seeing one another, it took quite a while to work out. He had been the one to actually ask about officially being a couple. Although it was more sneaky than creative, you invited him to go to check out the shops near where the Scouts had been working to establish a supply base. He agreed but when you said “it’s a date then?” He went quiet for a moment and turned his back to you. A whole minute had passed and it didn’t look like he had moved much. It made you feel embarrassed for having gone about it that way so you were okay with pretending it never happened. 5 minutes had passed before he went about answering the same way you asked; “I…okay..I’ll see you in about an hour.” Despite how awkward he acted starting out, things worked out. Your first kiss resulted in him freezing up and you almost crying before he grabbed you to kiss you back. Back then you were the braver of the two of you. But after your first time, asking him to show you how he felt more and saying “I love you”, it seems like the tables have turned.

“Guys pay attention!” Of course it can’t just be these two. You whip your head to the back door after hearing a scream from the other side of the house. That didn’t sound like Sasha…was that Connie?

“Oh are you gonna cry about it?!”

-That temper is gonna be the end of us…

You notice Jean taking the reins from Eren.

-Wait did he just snap the reins?!!

“What the hell is going on our here?” But before you could say anything or look for Levi around the corner of the house, you had to jump out of the way. It’s reassuring to know the horse was planning to stop a couple feet past where you stood. What’s not so great is feeling like you opened your stitches at your underarm. You weren’t really given much choice; to your right was the house and the left was barrels of hay and grass.

“Jean! Eren! I will personally shove my foot up both your asses especially if my stitches opened.” The fact that you don’t get angry easily or swear often let alone raise your voice, helps your current position. It’s kinda hard to be taken seriously when you’re upside down.

“Section Commander! I’m so sorry!”

“We’re so sorry!” Well they’re mostly on the same page since they both apologized at the same time. Eren seems to have taken the ‘every man for himself’ route considering his using ‘I’ rather than ‘We’ like Jean.

“Good going Eren now we’re both screeed.”

“Shut it horse face.”

Once you’ve rolled to your side and sit up, you’re helped up by Levi. Avoiding your injured underarm in the process of getting you inside the dining room. Thankfully Hange and Moblit have taken everyone outside to go to the colosseum like opening for Eren to assume Titan form.

“Did you bring extra clothes?” Levi asks as he checks your stitches.

“Yeah, I have some.”

“Good.” Normally he’d remain entirely professional so you don’t expect to feel his lips press to your shoulder once he’s finished checking your stitches.

“You seem to be in a good mood today.” You murmur looking over your shoulder.

“And what if I am?” Feeling his breath on your skin causes a light shiver.

“I’ll have to figure out what caused it.” Turning around to face him; the hand that had held onto you before moves to gently hold your chin. You close the gap between the two of you intending to give him a light peck. Just as you started pulling away the hand holding your chin moves to press against the back of your head gently. His other hand takes one of yours.

“Is it so hard to believe that I just missed you?” It’s hard to think when he hardly separates from your lips to get the words out.

With a hum, you let go of his hand and put both of yours around the back of his neck. “Who are you and what have you done wi-“

“Stop talking.” Cutting you off, he suddenly grabs under your knees to pull you to him. Since your chairs aren’t quite close enough you almost fall. You gasp and open your eyes for a moment. He pulls you flush against him before placing one hand at the middle of your back the other gripping your thigh.

“Wh-what about-“

“I told them we’d meet them once I took care of you.” His reason given between kisses that are only becoming more…aggressive. His choice of words and the way he said it causes your face to heat up a little.

As much as you want to keep going, you can’t help but worry about someone possibly walking in on the two of you. “..”

“No one’s is going to walk in on us.” The man’s known you since he joined the Scout Regiment. He may not be a mind reader but hes pretty damn close. Being as observant as he is, Levi is very aware of what will get and keep your attention. With that said, he seldom ever lets himself get to carried away which is why his behavior right now is…exciting.

“We have to go and hel-“

“Hange and Moblit are just fine. Jean and Sasha are on lookout duty for another hour.”

There aren’t as many opportunities for you to be alone together like this.

“You’ve told me,” moving his hand from your thigh up and along your side, at the same time he moves to kiss your cheek. “more than once,” albeit gentle, Levi intends to make a point. Trailing to your ear, you let part of a moan unintentionally escape when he bites, “to be more expressive.” Absentmindedly your hips aren’t quite rocking but you’re not staying still while straddling him either.

“~Levi-“ your breath hitches as you feel his fingertips trail back down your side. Pulling the hem of your shirt he moves his hand under your tank top traveling up in a tantalizingly slow way.

The hand under your shirt travels up slowly as he cups one of your breasts. Once he begins to fiddle with the sensitive bud over your bra, your breathing becomes more audible. You debate on whether or not you should keep going or just move his hand from under your shirt. But have to stifle a moan when he pulls the fabric out of the way to touch your bare skin.

“Because you—want to know—that I want you—as much as you-want-me.” Pausing between words, he trails kisses down your neck to your collarbone.

“Levi..” knowing your body well enough, you decide to try and slow things down. If his mouth goes any lower than your collarbone, you might as well throw in the towel.

The tone in his voice changes; “Or…am I misunderstanding entirely?” He stops moving. His tone sounds disheartened. But why? “Do you want me to stop because you no longer want m-“ quickly but gently you pull him back to silence his doubts with a kiss. The disheartened tone you’ve only heard once in regard to your relationship is not one you like.

“Listen here old man!” You say say in a sweet but playful manner. Having gotten his attention, you earn yourself a scowl and a bite to your lip. “If you ask me-eeh!” The hand under your shirt goes below your ribs and proceed to tickle you. An incredibly unfair move since he won’t let you tickle him.

“Call me old man again.” Once your laughter ceases you could choose to back down, but teasing him is much too fun. Besides, it usually gets him to loosen up a smidge.

Pressing your forehead to his, with lips centimeters apart, “Old man.” You tease with half lidded eyes.

“You act like a mom but sound like a brat.” Almost immediately, you second guess your choice to tease him once you feel him adjust you on his lap. Feeling him grind against you so suddenly and deliberately makes you gasp. Taking advantage of your parted lips, his lips return to yours. His tongue glides along your bottom lip before exploring your mouth. At first he hesitates but once he feels reciprocate, he’s reassured.

Believe it or not, he’s much more gentle than you had thought he might be before you two got together. He doesn’t act forceful or aggressive like this ever. The closest he gets to forceful or aggressive is probably when you’re having sex. It’s kinda hard to be super gentle with that. But the man won’t even spank you. It was only an idea, but he shot it down because it’s still hitting you to him. Hence why it’s incredibly difficult to put a pause on things right now.

What if you just don’t pause things…

“Did you make up your mind yet?” The usual tone of his voice laced with amusement while keeping his lips close to yours. Feeling your face heat up a little, you smile and turn to face away but of course he stops you with his lips once again.

“Hange already suspects that something’s up Levi” you say while running your fingers along his shoulders. Down his arms and back to then move down over his upper torso. For a moment he watches with his hands hands holding onto your hips. You press a little more while sort of tracing over his toned body. Just barely jumping when you move your fingers over his stomach causes you to freeze. With a brief giggle you place one hand over his heart and one at his shoulder. Pressing your forehead to his and closing your eyes you sit still feeling his heartbeat under your hand.

“I guess you can’t help being indecisive and paranoid, can you?” He teases then bites your lip gently.

“How’d I have a crush on such a bully for the past however many years.” Murmuring against his lips, you try not to move about to much.

“Another one of the worlds greatest mysteries.”

“I love you.” You whisper.

“I love you too. Now get up.” Gently he shrugs to get you to sit up so he can kiss you once more.

“Rude.”

He holds you in place one more time; between a few searing kisses to punctuate his sentence; “The sooner we get things done—the sooner we can finish—where we—left —off..” the tone of his voice surprisingly low and abnormally seductive. Once your lips separate you take a moment to catch your breath. You admire the light blush on his cheeks before you both stand up. Feeling a soft breeze that suddenly catches your attention, you to turn around.

“Levi, was that door open before?”
