the reason i love phantom so much is because it’s just so complex. all of it. the set? the music? the lighting? the costumes? the characters? all of it. there is so much thought and effort in every single aspect of it, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. i’m so upset it’s closed now, because when will we ever see such complexity ever again?

Seeing San Jose Taiko play today was so great they did amazing 🤩🧡🥁

#taiko #feeling inspired!! #it was such a good show #also lots of people from my taiko group got to go too #tbh ive only seen 3 other groups live and this was the most like our dojos style #so watching and getting to think like eventually ill probably get to do similar things was a special feeling #but the orgin of our group in tied with them so its not surprising #their closing song they did was actually one ive preformed the partner piece of #one thing they did which was fun was theyre very jumpy flying around #and they playing aaaaa just great #lots of pieces with one person plaing multiple drums too which is always cool #talks

In a “billions won’t be hoarded by one person” type of way. In a “janitors, fast-food workers, child care workers, preschool teachers, hotel clerks, personal care and home health aides, and grocery store cashiers, will live comfortably” type of way.
