i'm the anon that's been sending those long domestic drabbles of the fish-y mafia, can I be the "chatter box anon" ? a prime nickname for all of them would be "Cuddle fish" Azul likes bodily contact, he had 8 extra limbs, not counting arms, to work with previously, and frankly, he might lose his mind if he can only use 2 to hold his S/O ever; slip him into water and let him hold you like a teddy bear, he might cry on stress if you don't- his tentacles like to just.. curl around your legs and waist, it's just their resting state, it's almost like holding hands except Azul is a whole lot clingier than even a typical octopus; feign ignorance and let him snuggle. Being held gently by 10 limbs is the new therapy babes, Floyd's squeezes are actually a whole less painful than one would think, why? Because you hug him back, happily!- He becomes hyper-aware of how frail his shrimpy is when you attempt to squeeze him during the hug and it's such a soft thing. He still holds you off the ground when you hug, in fact, he's now your main way of transport; did you know shrimps ride moray eels? (yes, it's a reference) Yeah? Good, buckle up because you're the shrimpy and he's your captain speaking- Jade now understands the urge to squeeze things; and bite, and nuzzle, and frankly he's drunk on the physical affection. He will wake up with a lot of kisses all over his face, or wake you up with many kisses, would stand in the doorway in every single room and make you give him a kiss as a "toll" for walking around your shared living space- Jade is far more love drunk and affectionate than anyone would ever expect, but expecting him to be anything else other than that was when bets went out the door anyway; he talks about his 'siren' or 'little pearl' to his terrariums, picking up pretty shells in the deep waters (1/2)

Honestly I absolutely adore all your little headcanons and domestic fluff content. It makes my day honestly and I can totally see all of these things happen. Clingy Fish Mafia is for the win.

Okay it's been a while since I did anything for this AU

I'm gonna do Octavinelle next because recently I was struck with a bit of inspiration

Here's the Master Post for this AU.

There just isn't enough monster fucker content for any of the octotrio so here's me throwing out some ideas 👍🏻

Now, we all know Azul is a cecaelia, however, I want to make him a bit more... monstrous.

The Octotrio doesn't need to be changed, but for my own self indulgent reasons, I wanna add more fun.

Of course, there are many possibilities. In fact, the thing that recently inspired me (coughseaofthieveskrakencough) so there's always that possibility.

Some of its tentacles open up and straight up suck you outta your ship and launch you across the ocean 👁

Just the tentacles alone have a lot of different things you can do. It leaves a lot to the imagination.

Small biology fact: Octopi have bacteria in their saliva glands that they use to paralyze prey so that they can eat it

So imagine that on a larger scale 👁

Also the fact that Azul is massive so size difference comes into play and if we're working with Kraken!Azul then just fucking IMAGINE how huge he'd be

Now this is going to be a very... loose... interpretation since Abaia's dwell in freshwater lakes and morays typically aren't freshwater eels (some are most aren't)

Since Abaia's are very protective of their home and the other creatures in it, going as far as to cause storms strong enough to flood the land, and drowning those who are being harm, that is EASY yandere potential.

Personally I don't do non-con, however, I know there's quite a few of you that do so go wild.

Or if you're looking for an actually lengthy story, the imagine MC living in/off the water they reside in. MC makes routine offering to them, speaks with them, thanks them every time they go fishing in their water. They grow attached and something happens. A huge CATASTROPHE.

i just wanted to share a headcanon i have for,,, floyd

idk if its considered angsty??? but hc that floyd has a habit of scratching himself very aggressively when stressed

like on the arms and stuff and most of the time he ends up bleeding from how hard he scracthes-

(honestly when i made this hc it was just me projecting because i do this (not to the point that it bleeds but uhh yeah (sorry if this is cringe)))

TRIGGER WARNINGS: MENTIONS OF SCRATCHING AND BITING AS A STRESS RESPONSE. IF THIS IS TRIGGERING, PLEASE STOP READING. COMFORT FOR EACH SCENARIO REGARDING FLOYD AND JADE. These aren't headcanons or drabbles, just quick thoughts and myself projecting. It's literally four paragraphs, so you aren't missing any written content if you skip this.

Okay but I love this because for years this was my anxiety response and sometimes still it; still got scars to this day. I can see his S/O picking up on this and whenever he begins scratching just taking his hand and kissing it and telling him he's okay. Like...not me projecting as well.

Just imagine him scratching and taking his hand, kissing his knuckles and then holding it in your own and asking if he's already and wants to talk about it. If he doesn't, maybe suggest doing something fun to distract him. If that still fails then see if he just wants to cuddle in silence and squeeze you until he's feeling a bit better. Everyone handles stress differently and I think stuff like this adds more depth to the Twisted boys.

Another thing I see is with Jade though and biting the fleshy part of his hand when he's stressed beyond words. He's normally pretty composed but when he's losing his cool he goes down to bite his hand so he can have something to occupy his mind (again, something I used to do).

Seeing this and grabbing some bandages for him and wrapping it up and holding his hand to your chest and telling him it's okay, and whatever is stressing him out you'll be there to help with.
