What Makes Them Dangerous: Yandere Joseph Joestar
*Note: Here's Joseph's part of this. As I said in the previous post, I'll probably add more characters later, but this is all I have right now. I'm probably going to write some short blurbs for Tumblr for a bit until I get over this writer's block. I'm trying not to leave you guys hanging for too long.
Tumblr media
Another yandere you’ll never suspect to be yandere in a million years, but even if you do, it won’t matter. Joseph is extremely clever. Sure, he may act like a muscle-brained moron or an overgrown child sometimes, but his cunning and wit are sharper than Kars’ arm blades. It’s really easy to write him off as a hopeless goofball when he’s whining about you ignoring him or getting into hamon-infused food fights with Caesar, but don’t be fooled. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He’ll use his goofball nature to endure himself to you. I mean, how can you say no to that blinding smile? If you make him sad he’ll pout like a toddler until you apologize and make it up to him. Joseph has a way of wearing you down by simply wearing you out. Dealing with this particular yandere will make you feel like an overworked single mother whose kid is going through the “terrible twos”. He’ll have you so exhausted and annoyed that you’ll give in just to get him to stop his childish antics.
If that doesn’t work, he’ll revert to sabotage. Oh, you’re going out on a date with someone else? Not if he has anything to say about it! If he can’t convince you to change your mind about the date, he’ll follow you in secret and make sure you have the worst possible time imaginable. He’ll use Hamon, sleight of hand, his ties to the Speedwagon Foundation, bribery, intimidation, or whatever else he has at his disposal to ruin your date. All night long your date gets food dumped on him, wine and other drinks spilled all over his expensive suit, his car has four flat tires for no reason at all, and on top of it all a stray dog decides to use his leg as a toilet. By the end of the night, your date is so stressed and frustrated that he yells at you. Somehow he blames you for everything that happened to him and leaves you to walk home by yourself. Your eyes are blurred with tears so you don’t see who it is that you bump into while attempting the long walk home. You flinch, expecting to be yelled at again only to discover that it’s good ol’ JoJo. He always seems to be there when you need him. You’re so glad to see a friendly face that you don’t even question what he’s doing on this side of town. You tell him all about your terrible date and he decides to cheer you up by taking you on a date to his favorite Italian restaurant. Have you ever had squid ink spaghetti? No? Yeah, it sounds gross, but trust him, it’s the best thing you’ll ever eat!
He’ll wine and dine you and you’ll have so much fun with him that you’ll forget all about how badly your date went. Before long, you won’t even think of dating anyone other than JoJo. And that’s the dangerous thing about Joseph. You may think you have him all figured out, but no matter what, he’ll always be two steps ahead of you.

Esidisi and a cat
I found it extremely cute, pillar men taking care of a kitty because this little detail shows that they're not just terrifying men who want to kill humans

“𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞, 𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫!“
“𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝑪𝒂𝒆𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒐. “
I love these two- in more ways than one! Sometimes I can’t tell if I admire Caesar or Joseph more! I love their relationship, way down to the last of it. I mean I can't say too much since I'm relatively new to JJBA and major anime fandoms, but I think this relationship is quite nice. Caesar and Joseph helped eachother yknow. Caesar helped Joseph with hamon and in turn Joseph made Caesar joyful with his humor and determination. What do you think?
That's all for C&J Spam Pizza #1! Let me know what you think, and there will be more coming! 😉

REMEMBER THE TIME — KARS
Tumblr media
➸ part 1
do you remember the time when we first met, girl?
[o/n] — old world name
wc 3.7k
Tumblr media
the trip was quiet and quite awkward on your end. you couldn't believe you actually went through with such a plan you made up on the spot, but for what? you wished you knew the answer on why you was really going with this mysterious being when all you had was a knot in your stomach that urged you to find out
so far into the ride back to his domain, he had made small talk with you which you only gave short responses to due to your guard remaining up. "do you have any requests for dinner once we reach?" he tilt his head slightly to watch your features as you gave it some thought.
you were starting to feel anxious under his intense gaze and decided to direct your attention out towards the moving scenery. he realized him giving you his full undivided attention was quite too much and internally scolded himself before looking through his own window as well, "there's no rush in what you may crave, dearest. take as much time you deem necessary" he reassured. the endearment caused your cheeks to swell with immense heat, but due to your pigmentation, it couldn't tell on you thankfully
you tried your best not to do your own gazing, but couldn't help but marvel at how handsome his side profile was. from the loose curl that peeked from his headscarf to the ruby colored eyes that held a hint of yearning and resentment that you personally wanted to know what was the cause.
you pondered for some time, not realizing the constant movement of the carriage came to an halt. once coming back from your busy mind, you were face with a hand outstretched towards you.
"may i, o/n?" his voice as gentle as the appearance of his palm. his aura so inviting as if it was a trance of some sort
you almost interlocked fingers, however you knitted your brows at the name he called you. it felt so familiar, so natural to be called that... yet again you don't know why. you took his hand as he assisted you carefully out of the carriage, thanking him quietly as you slip your hand out of his grasp and examine your surroundings.
bloomed floral swaying melodically to the gentle gush of wind as they were having their own little festival. he strode gracefully towards the bouquet of baby pink floral, "the naked-lady-lily some has called it, but i prefer.." you crouched and carefully caressed the petals of said flower.
"..belladonnas" you both said simultaneously. you looked up towards him as he gazed down at you with an unreadable expression. the intensity of his gaze once again made you flustered and cowered a bit
"wamuu they've returned!"
your embarrassment soon turned into confusion at the sound of new voices rippling through the crisp air. a massive man with coarse white hair ran with the energy of a child who haven't seen their parent in a day of school. something about it brought a shy smile to your full lips, but you soon noticed another figure running after the man heading towards your direction. he had a look of annoyance as well a golden piece of jewelry that clung to his bottom lip. you could say these men where otherworldly in their appearance for sure..
the two finally met you where you stood and the one with the lip jewelry instantly kneeled as the other just took your hands in his grasp with a passionate greeting
"oh my! it's so nice to finally meet you, mistress o/n!" he exclaimed following a warm smile and you returned it yet you were becoming more confused on the inside at the name.
you shift your attention from the one now peppering your hands with kisses and praises to the man that got back on his feet, "i hope this numbskull isn't bombarding you too much, mistress o/n" he scolded the excited man, forcing him to release your hands in which you rubbed them on your pants to rid of his saliva
"i'm sorry but you two are sadly mistaken. i'm not this 'o/n' you keep referring to me as" you politely informed and now it was them with the confused expression. the name didn't bother you, but you wanted to know what— or who was this o/n and why did they keep misidentifying you for them
"but you look like the port—"
"could you both give us some time to ourselves, please?" kars interrupted causing you raised a brow at what the man was going to say
the annoyed man noticed his master's demeanor and followed with ease "surely master. come esidisi" he placed a hand on the white haired man's shoulder. he looked towards you with a sadden smile, "it was a pleasure to meet you, mistress" he said as you were carefully escorted away from the two and towards two towering stone doors
the foyer was massive, it looked like it once had humongous events with lots and lots of people. a quiet wow left your lips from the sight of the dark purple and gold decor. "who were those two?" you finally questioned as you continued to follow him subconsciously behind the man
"my loyal subjects, esidisi and wamuu. you'll learn to tolerate esidisi and his.. excitement" his tone seemed less amused at the mention of esidisi's behavior
"what did he mean by he heard stories of me? is this an ambush!?" you said with an accusatory tone. if it was an planned ambush to kill you and take the amulet, you felt so naive to go with this unknown man just based of a feeling that you were still unsure about.
he stopped dead in his tracks at your tone and turned to face you. seeing you distressed, made him a bit worried. "this isn't an ambush of any sort, o/n. i give you my word." he attempted to reassure as he inched towards you with out hand, but stopped once you took a couple steps back with a wry gaze. the thought that you now feared him made his chest tightened; it was the last thing he wanted you feel towards him
"my name is y/n. it is the name lisa lisa has given me since i've came across her, please refer to me as such" you demanded with tense brows.
kars admired you dearly, but didn't mean your demands will be taken with a grain of salt. "well, i believe it's now appropriate to introduce myself because what kind of host would i be?" he quipped as a smile danced across his lips. "i am kars and y/n, if you don't mind me asking, do you remember how you came across ms lisa lisa?" curiousity laced his question
"i.." it's been so long since your run in with lisa, it was now a fuzzy memory with incoherent sentences. something like white noise in your head and it was starting make your head throb
"you don't remember, do you?"
"why am i here?" you changed the subject before the white noise ringing throughout your mind caused a migraine of some sort. he cleared his throat as he began to walk around the foyer, optics bouncing from fixtures to fixtures "to spend 5 days and 5 nights in my home"
"what is the reasoning for such an bizarre request?"
"you'll learn in time.. o/n or should i say y/n"
the two men that you now knew as wamuu and esidisi, showed you to your living quarters. "master kars knew due to it being your first night in our home, it was best to give you your own wing of the palace"
you shared a gentle smile at the two gentlemen. "he has my greatest thanks as well as you two" you grasped each of their hands with gratitude
"anything for you mistress o/— y/n" esidisi bowed under your touch, hoping you didn't take offense to his slip up. you pat his head gently, letting him know you weren't upset with him
"no need to bow. i bleed just like you bleed, remember that"
"still pragmatic.." you heard wamuu mumbled before he cleared his throat
"master kars said to us to meet with him after guiding you to your residence, so enjoy your new room. santana will fetch you once dinner is ready, mistress y/n" wamuu informed before turning and walking away causing esidisi to scramble to his feet and go after the man but not before yelling
"yell if you need anything. no matter how big or small the request may be!"
"you have my thanks again" you yelled back before turning and facing the giant door once again, exhaling a breath you didn't know you were holding. you grabbed the knob and pushed, which you didn't put much effort in
the room was nothing you could've ever imagine. the bed was most likely a king-sized with royal purple silk sheets with a enchanting gold canopy drawn back so invitingly; the walls were a creamish beige color with white accents on the ceiling along with gold embroideries aesthetically patterned around the room. however what really capture your attention was the large vanity near the balcony that was ajar; the vanity reminded you of lisa lisa and how she would asked you to brush her hair for her after an exhausting day with jojo
now your mind was on jojo, which made you subconsciously took a seat on the plush mound of the back-less chair. you missed joseph and his antics as well as his worrying over you. he treated you like a little sister, always so teasing, yet always so kind with him. you were happy to be apart of this little family with him and lisa lisa, but sometimes it saddens you because you didn't know or matter of fact, remember who was your family before. you pray someday you'll be united
you sighed dolefully and right after you yawned unexpectedly. you never realized how tired you were from this journey and the things you've encountered so far. you looked over to the bed, it was so alluring; it felt like it was inviting you to rest with just it looks, and it must've been true with how you slipped your boots off and shuffled your feet over. at the first touch of the sheets, you felt your tiredness intensify. there was no fighting it now as you climbed in and snuggle up against the cool pillow
as you now laid peacefully in your slumber, there was a thudding sound coming from the balcony that soon started to irritate you as you slept. pulling yourself from your well-deserved rest, you dragged your feet to the source and swiftly closed the doors. as you turned to return back to bed, you collided with something and before you could fall two colossal arms wrapped around your waist
you looked up and was met with a pair of red eyes. "kars...?" you whispered and oh how'd you whispered his name could remove all oxygen from his lungs and breathe life into another. "yes, y/n?"
"w-what are you doing here?"
"oh," he realized he let his embrace last a bit longer than expected and quickly brought you to an upright position to stand before taking a step back. "santana came to fetch you for dinner, however you didn't show.." his eyes shift elsewhere and you could tell your absence was quite disheartening
"my apologies. the trip here was quite a long one and i didn't realize how tiring it was until i got into this room, which is gorgeous to mention"
"i should've been considerate of your well being once we've arrived, my deepest apologies" he turned his back to you as he walked further into your room
"it's fine really" you reassured as you came up behind him and placing a hand against his back. he smiled at your touch and sighed
"well since your awake now, would you like dinner?" he asked. you already felt bad for missing out on a meal that specifically prepared for you and would hate for him to waste even more food on another dish
so you immediately began protesting, "i don't want to be difficul—"
"lamb or cow?" he interrupted, towering over you with a blank stare. you knew there was so winning this so you might as well play along
"lamb" you answered bashfully
"i present to you spring lamb ragù" he grinned as he revealed the simmering dish and you were taken back how delicious it looked and the smell it emitted was even better. he placed the plate in front of you as he went to his end of the table. you took your cutlery and dig in without hesitation
"this is really delicious" you complimented as you continued to feast. through your lashes you noticed him staring once again, however his expression was unreadable once again as he slouched back in his chair with his fingers interlocked just below his eyes, covering his nose and mouth
"is something the matter?" you swallowed
he waved a hand, "no... it's just the necklace.. really suits you" he shyly complimented. even though the only light that was emitting the dinner table was candles, you could see the slight change his complexion around his cheeks
“why, how sweet of you” you thanked before taking a sip of your wine. it velvety in texture, ruby red in appearance and you couldn’t help but notice the cherry and raspberry aftertaste with the sudden aroma of vanilla. it had to be one of the best wines you ever came across so far
you both sat in silence for a while and it was starting to bother you with its heavy tension, so you decided to break the silence first
"what are you if you don't mind me asking, kars?" you asked
"i’m many things: god, an ancient king, father nature and many more, but i am just a man who wants to be with his beloved again” his eyes locked with yours for that last part and it was all starting to make sense to you now. this agreement wasn’t about the amulet but it didn’t make sense
“and you’re saying.. i am her?”
“without a doubt in my soul”
he continued to explain and express how you were his lost lover and strangely enough it was making sense but not at the same time, but one thing you are sure about was he did made you feel something and you were more than willing to explore a bit more..
ever since the first night you had dinner with the men, you became to relax more within their presence. in a strange way it became nostalgic to you, as if you already had this ongoing bond with them. you spent quite a lot of time at night with kars; getting to know him and sharing thoughts on what the future may hold over your secret nightly dinners, which started moving to his bedroom quickly
“thank you for the night. i’ve really enjoyed this” you smiled as you twiddled with your fingers whilst the both you traveled to your side of the palace. with all this time spent, you were comfortable with him, at peace to say the least. this feeling was starting to feel very nostalgic for you. you stopped and offered a hug which he obliged to. your fingers combed the nape of hair that was sleeked up into a ponytail and gazed admirably over his features
"i'm glad i could make this experience joyous for you" a low groan bubbling in the pit of his stomach as his ribs expand to accommodate the stretch of his lungs as he eagerly breathes you in. it's overwhelming, the sweetness of your scent being something he'll never dare to forget
"i believe this is where we part ways" you pulled in your bottom lip, nervous at what you were going to suggest next. you didn't know if it was the tension or the wine causing the millions of butterflies to flutter sporadically in your abdomen but you were feeling bold
"..it don't have to..." a small smile tugged at your pump lips as you stared up at the man. he returned the gesture as well as placing a calloused hand under your chin and a thumb caressing the small of your cheek
"as tempting as your offer is..." the space left between the both of you was torture. you just wanted to touch him, see if his lips could compare to those of the finest silk. you leaned more as well as him and waited to for your question to be answered. the ghost of his breath so alluring against your lips. unfortunately, it just stayed a ghost since nothing came except for a peck on your cheek "you must rest, little one" you opened your eyes once again with longing and he could feel his heart twist
a man you were incredibly fond of...maybe even smitten with. You weren't sure, but you could feel your heart swell when you were around him. his gentle touches and tender kisses to your cheeks, hands, and forehead filled you with an inexpressible warmth and his smile... you'd move mountains to see his smile or hear the deep rumble of his laughter. it's only been three days and your thoughts were consumed with him
your 5 days past so quickly. it left you yearning for his company like a throbbing wound begging to be attended to. the trip back to lisa lisa's residence was quite resentful to say the least. you were greeted with worried jojo and his literal breathtaking embrace. you reassure the young joestar there's nothing to worry about and you were scratch-free from any wounds he may have thought you'd endure during your stay
"never go off with a strange random man thing ever again, you hear me!?" he scolded with a hard gaze. you shrugged, eyes drifting down to the red jewel that grace your neck and gently stroke around its edges. lisa lisa took notice your absentminded demeanor and quickly thrown out a random exercise for jojo to occupy himself with so you could spend some time to grieve your departure.
your eyes stayed on the glimmering jewelry and more disorienting moments appeared in your mind. this time it was the same necklace but someone was placing it for you before placing a kiss to your nape before whispering something incoherent. you reached the end of the hallway where your room resided and entered. you looked around the luxurious space, and unintentionally compared to the room you stayed in with kars.
you reached your bed and dragged your fingertips along the fabric of the sheets, reminiscing on the nights you shared engrossed in deep conversation with the man. you continued to reminisce as you changed out the clothes you traveled in to the articles of clothing that was away in the small chest given to you.
you didn't realized how much of your skin was exposed until you feel almost  every goosebump over your skin once you heard a voice from behind you.
"how could you be shy of your own beauty?"
"who are you… and who am i?" you whispered so softly your voice could become one with the wind. the intense gaze of admiration and curiosity was drowning his heart out; the urge to just stop the cat and mouse game and just capture your glossed lips was all too much for him to bare
"i am icarus and i loved the sun too much. do you still not remember us?" his question almost sounded like a desperate whine for your memory and you were truly trying to search the vast recollection, however only bits and pieces of laughs and vows of devotion to a being with those same rubellite iris
tears clung to your lashes as they threatened to stream like lonely rivers, "i.. i remember moments of a love so beautiful... so kind and gracious and only i wish i haven't fallen ill so they would've heard my confession of love for them.." you turned your head away so the man wouldn't witness your moment of weakness as those tears escaped in pairs. "all i have to remember him by is that amulet you were after and a phrase that was said" you sighed defeatedly as begged your conscience to help you remember that man.
he embraced you, falling to his knees. he placed soft kisses to your collarbone, chest, naval, the top of your thighs before rising back up to your lovely face. seeing you in this outfit brought back so many memories, so many emotions that he had to act upon. his arms wrapped around your waist whilst he dipped you slightly with eyes of anguish. his mind had stopped being so loud and now his heart was the one to take accordingly.
he needed you more than you could ever imagine; you’re too precious for anyone except for him. “she is more precious than rubies; nothing no man desire can compare to her” your bodies became one as he latch his lips on to yours eagerly. the sweet taste of your lipstick satiated a deep hunger within him as his tongue continued to explore the wonders of your mouth. you were starting to feel dizzy from the intensity of the kiss and unwillingly pulled back for a breath of air
that phrase he said before taking you echoed by the doubles in your mind and you felt your heart stop as everything started to piece together finally
"my love..." you gazed up towards him with shocked and a warmth of nostalgia. you were finally infront of the man that made you feel like the most precious thing known to mankind. "it's been so long my love" you could see the glistening in his eyes as he grinned happily, "but it doesn't have to be that way no more"
"stay at the palace with me. you can either give jojo the amulet or keep it. it doesn't matter to me no more knowing you now remember our lost love" it was now settled. you told lisa lisa and joseph the news and though they were saddened at your permanent departure for the residence, they were glad your memory was restored and you could be with your beloved and the family you left unintentionally once again. you said your farewells and made promises to visit every once in a while before entering the carriage you grew custom with
“this will be a new chapter in our lives, so what do you want to go by within this new chapter?” he asked as your hand rested comfortably in his
“your wife.”

JJBA Yandere Scenario: Jealousy (The Jo-Foes: Kars x Pillar Man Reader)
Note: Guys, I struggled so much with Kars’ part. I had so many different ideas for it that I just didn’t know what to write. I kept writing a little bit, changing my mind, and starting over. I did that several times before just deciding to go with what I have here and I’m still not satisfied with it. I like what I came up with, but I also don’t. It’s very frustrating. I decided to just settle or I’d never, ever get it done. I feel that I didn’t concentrate on the jealousy aspect of it as much as I should have and what little of it I have here feels shoe-horned in. So, I’m very sorry if this just isn’t up to par.
Tumblr media
Jealous Kars is vengeful and full of spite. Kars prided himself on being able to stifle his emotions and think rationally and logically in stressful situations, but he instantly lost that ability when it came to you. Back in the ancient days, Kars developed a strange, unhealthy attachment to you. You thought that it came about due to you being one of his only friends aside from Esidesi, though you could not say for sure what it was that caused him to be so overly fond of you. After some time, it became very clear that Kars was looking to have you as a mate. You weren’t sure of your feelings for him just yet and each time he proposed the idea to you, you told him that you needed more time to think about it. With each denial, Kars became more and more impatient.
Eventually, Kars decided to go over your head and ask your parents for your hand. As per the customs of your tribe, they would only relent if Kars could prove himself to be an adequate mate by dominating your other (more desirable) suitors in combat. He agreed, in spite of not being trained as a warrior the way your other suitors were. Surprisingly, Kars rose to the challenge and brutally tore his way through the suitors during the trials. Both of your parents watched the trials with discerning eyes. Your mother was especially judgmental of Kars performance as it was she who picked up on some of his more unsavory personal traits and was adamantly against you having anything to do with him. When the trials were over, she gave your father a meaningful glance and they left the arena to discuss their decision.
When they returned to the arena, they both bore cold, unreadable expressions. Kars’ heart dropped, for he already knew what their judgment would be. Your father stood up from his seat and gave his final judgment.
“I declare Kars the winner of the trial by combat,” your father said; his deep baritone booming out over the arena. “In spite of this, my mate and I have deemed him an unworthy suitor for our child.”
Kars eyes widened in shock and anger and he bit his lip to keep from screaming his rage up at your father. His fists tightened and he began to tremble in his anger.
“For what reason do you find me unworthy?” he asked, voice straining with held back fury. “If I have proven myself in the trials then why do you still deny me the right to…”
Your mother stood and cut Kars off mid sentence.
“Because you lack honor, Kars.” she said simply. “You only won the trials today through underhanded methods. While we admire your ability to use your wits to make up for your lack of strength, we find your tactics base and cruel. Your unnecessary brutality during combat is… undesirable. Due to this, we find you undesirable as well.”
“Furthermore,” your father added. “It has come to our attention that our child has already refused your advances several times before you came to us with your proposal. We do not wish to force a marriage if it is not wanted. For all of these reasons, we find you unworthy.”
“NO!” Kars shouted, unable to control his emotions any longer. “NO! You cannot deny me this! I have won the trials! What does it matter how I achieved victory as long as victory was achieved!? You have no right to refuse me! I will not--”
Once again Kars was interrupted, this time by a member of the Council of Elders that were also there to witness the trials.
“That’s enough!” he said. “Kars, the parents have every right to decide whom they deem worthy of their own offspring. The parents have made their decision and they have declared you unworthy. There will be no more discussion of the matter. Accept your judgment and move on.”
With that, all those in the audience rose to leave the arena. Only Kars remained where he was, staring down at his bloodied hands in silent anger. Unworthy? UNWORTHY???!!! They called him unworthy of you, simply because he used his mind instead of his muscles during the trials? It was those other suitors that were the unworthy ones. They didn’t deserve you. They were all just empty headed brutes with no true ambition. They were just like all the other members of your tribe who had no interest in becoming more than what they were. Idiots like the Council of Elders and your parents who were content to hide themselves from the sun’s rays and allow the lowly humans dominate the planet. No, if anyone was truly unworthy, it was them. All of them! He would give them one last chance to see reason. If he could show them the results of his latest project. If he showed them that he found a way to triumph over their biological weakness to the sun, then maybe they would listen to reason. (Maybe then you would look at him fondly for once.) If not… well… then there was only one thing left for him to do.
Meanwhile you were going through the last of your training with your grandmother, who was the shaman for the tribe. From birth it was decided that you would act as the tribe’s assassin… and executioner should there be a need for it. While your kind were mostly peaceful (aside from the trials and occasional personal duels), there were still those that allowed themselves to be corrupted and caused trouble for the tribe. So, since you were an infant, you had been fed food laced with miniscule amounts of poison that was steadily increased as you got older until you were able to swallow what would normally be fatal amounts of pure poison. Due to your inhuman physique, your body not only developed an immunity to all forms of poison, but your very blood became a deadly poison itself. If an enemy managed to cut you, just the scent of your blood would be enough to cause them a painful death. And any human that crossed you and came into contact with your toxic blood would die instantly.
Recently, your grandmother began to train you in earnest. Ever since Kars started showing interest in you, she began to notice some things about him that made her wary of him. She was certain that there was something terribly wrong with him and that he would soon turn violent. She was training you to… to take him down. The thought saddened you. Yes, Kars’ advances made you uncomfortable, but the two of you had been friends since childhood. The thought of having to execute him… you didn’t want to think about it. Your grandmother had never been wrong in her predictions before, but this time you really hoped she was mistaken.
Unfortunately, your grandmother had judged Kars correctly. After locking himself away for nearly a month with one of his secret projects, he suddenly reappeared again and attempted to appeal to both your grandmother and the Council to try to get them interested in his latest project: a stone mask that would unlock its wearer’s hidden potential. All they needed was a certain magical stone that the humans possessed and the mask would be completed. Then the tribe could rule the Earth, as they were meant to, instead of the lowly humans. The Council firmly turned him down. The tribe made it a point to live separately from humanity and that meant avoiding conflict with them where possible. Stealing the magical gemstone from them would certainly cause problems with them. Furthermore the tribe had survived in darkness for so long and done just fine. What need did they have for walking in the sunlight? And they were content as they were, living underground and in caves. Though humans greatly outnumbered them, each tribe member was far stronger than any army of humans. So what need had they for conquering them? The tribe was fine as it was. There was no need for such barbaric ambition.
Kars lost his mind then. His mental health had been teetering on the edge for so long, but having been denied his wants twice in a row broke him completely. He went on a rampage and the Council labeled him a criminal. You were called in to deal with him, but by the time you found him, it was already too late. He had killed nearly every single member of the tribe including both your parents and even his own. You were appalled that someone you loved like a brother could do something so heinous. You struck out against him, actually managing to inject your poisonous blood into him by turning your fingernails into makeshift syringes, but he laughed in your face. You pulled away from him in horror as he held up a tiny vial of liquid.
“Do you know what this is, my cherished one?” He asked in a mockingly loving tone.
You didn’t answer, just looked up at him in fear and confusion as to why your poison had no effect on him.
“You should know by now that I have no interest in fighting fairly. I only fight to win, nothing more. Your parents and the rest of this tribe were so attached to outdated ideas such as honor among warriors, but I have no such attachment. What I have in this vial is an antidote to that oh so deadly poison that courses through your veins.” he explained to you with a triumphant, manic grin on his face.
You made a move to step back from him but he grabbed your wrist with his free hand and pulled you closer to him.
“That’s right, my beloved.” he cooed. “You cannot win this fight. Without your poison, your attacks are completely ineffective.”
The sound of footsteps approaching caused you to look up over Kars’ shoulder. You saw Esidesi coming up to the two of you. In his arms he held two infants. You recognized them as Wamuu and Santana. They were the only two children in the tribe at the time. Esidesi made eye contact with you, but his gaze was hard and detached. You knew then that you had been doubly betrayed. Esidesi was on Kars’ side and most likely had a hand in committing all out genocide against your own kind. You gritted your teeth in hatred for the both of them.
“Look there,” Kars said, drawing your attention back to him. “Those two children that Esidesi carries are the last remaining members of the tribe. I will spare them as long as you agree to be my consort. Make your decision now and choose wisely. My patience with your indecision has long run out!”
You swallowed thickly, trying to quell your disgust and terror.
“I relent, Kars.” You said. “Spare the children, and… I will… I will be your mate.”
You almost gagged on the words. Never in your life did you think that Kars could stoop so low, or be so insane. More than that, you never thought that Esidesi would aid him in attacking your own tribe. You were repulsed by the actions of your former friends. The fact that they would drag children into it, holding the little one’s lives over your head as leverage, made it all the more odious. Still, you had no choice. You were doomed to be the consort to a mad man and there was nothing you could do about it.
Thousands of years later, when you and the others awoke from hibernation, you found hope in an unlikely source; a strange human by the name of Joseph Joestar, otherwise known as “JoJo”.
At first you hated him, because Kars told you it was he who killed Santana in Mexico. Like Wamuu, you helped to raise Santana from infancy. He was practically your own son in your eyes. Though unlike Wamuu, Santana wasn’t brainwashed by Kars’ teachings and preferred you over him. Wamuu had been turned against you in the same way that Esidesi had and was far more likely to listen to Kars over you. Santana was far more loyal to you, though he would never admit it out loud for fear of Kars’ wrath. In retaliation over the “death” of your adopted son, it was you who suggested that Wamuu use the poisonous “Wedding Rings” on Joseph. The rings were designed by Kars and used your own poisonous blood to act as a “motivator” to anyone that found themselves wearing one. Of course, Kars provided each of the other Pillarmen with his antidote inside of their piercings.
Much later, you found out from the human woman called Lisa Lisa that Santana wasn’t dead but in a state of dormancy in a place called the Speedwagon Foundation. You realized then that Kars had lied to you in order to get you to view these humans as enemies. You were ashamed of yourself for letting Kars manage to get into your head. Not only that, but you realized that Kars had fully intended to abandon Santana, most likely out of jealousy over your affections for him. You decided then that you were going to aid Joseph in his fight against your own kind. You stayed out of the battle between him and Wamuu, however. Even though Wamuu had turned his back on you to gain Kars’ favor, you still held a parental affection for him and could not bring yourself to aid in his defeat. Joseph managed to win all on his own however.
When it came to Kars however you were merciless in your betrayal. Wamuu was defeated and Santana was safely out of Kars’ reach. He no longer had any leverage over you. So when the time came for Kars and Lisa Lisa to have their battle you decided then to openly turn against him. You knew Kars would not take this fight seriously. You knew that he would use trickery and deceit in order to win, as he did in all fights. So when the fight started and you saw that the “Kars” that Lisa Lisa fought was actually a vampire minion disguised as his master, you intervened, draining the vampire of his life force and saving the human woman’s life.
“Did… did you just kill your own master?” Joseph asked, confused by what just happened.
“No.” you said. “I killed an imposter.”
You turned to Lisa Lisa.
“Kars tricked you. He had that vampire take his place so that he could ambush you. He had no intention of fighting you fairly.” you explained.
“Hmph. Coward.” Lisa Lisa scoffed.
You looked down at Joseph where he stared up at you, still not fully understanding the situation.
“I would like to correct you, one called “JoJo”. From this moment on, Kars is no longer my master.” you said.
Joseph smiled, overjoyed at the turn of events.
You heard a snarl of outrage as Kars emerged from his hiding place. He approached you, his face contorted with anger and madness.
“You dare intervene?!” he growled. “You dare turn against me?! You belong to me!”
“No, Kars. I do not.” You said in a cold tone. “I never belonged to you and I never loved you. You killed my parents and my grandmother. You even killed your own parents. You slaughtered nearly all of our own kind. You held the lives of Wamuu and Santana over my head for thousands of years. You did all of this simply because you did not get your way. You murdered our friendship with your selfishness and caused my heart to grow cold towards you.You are unworthy of my love and you shall not have it.”
Kars let out a growl of animalistic rage and you heard the sound of his bone blades whirring to life. He swiped at you but you ducked under the blow. He had forgotten all about Lisa Lisa and Joseph and was intent on punishing you for your betrayal.
“Still you deny me!” He roared, swiping at your legs with a powerful kick. You only barely managed to dodge the blow.
“You betray me after all I’ve done for you! I placed you above all others! Lavished you with treasures beyond imagining! Gave you an honored place by my side! All that I’ve done, I’ve done for you! And still you call me unworthy?! What more must I do to gain your affections?!”
From out of nowhere Joseph appeared and landed a hamon infused kick to the Pillarman’s back. The sun fueled energy seared and melted his skin causing him to bellow out in pain and rage. He lost his balance, nearly falling onto the crystal spikes below.
“You can start by not being a psychotic jerk!” Joseph quipped.
He bounced over to you, standing by your side in a battle stance. He gave you a cheeky grin and chuckled, happy to have you as an ally against Kars. You looked to your other side and saw that Lisa Lisa was there. She shot you a look over her shades before readjusting them and taking a battle stance next to you. You smiled at your new allies, knowing that you finally had a chance to defeat Kars and earn your freedom.
Kars regained his composure just in time to see you and Joseph exchanged glances. You had the audacity to stand before him and smile at another. You never smiled at him. Not once since becoming his mate did you ever show him your smile, only giving him blank, cold stares that did nothing to hide your hatred. And here you were wantonly smiling at a human! A lowly, sniveling, frail and FILTHY HUMAN!!!
Kars' vision went red.
He roared, baring his teeth like a mad dog and pounced on Joseph.
Joseph, always the quick thinker, reacted just in time, flipping onto his back and kicking out with both feet. He sent a blast of Ripple energy through his legs and sent Kars falling to his doom. You turned away, unable to watch as he was impaled on the crystals below. You despised the man for all the horrible things he’d done, but there was still that painful lingering affection you had for the memory of your time together before he lost his mind completely.
After that, more humans arrived on the scene wielding devices that somehow weaponized sunlight that they used to fight off the vampires. Joseph, or “JoJo” as he insisted that you call him, told you that the Germans would seek to destroy you, too and as soon as they realized you were still alive they would turn their sunlight weapons on you. They wouldn’t care that you weren’t an enemy anymore. Not only that, but the actual sun would be rising soon, so you would need to find some kind of shelter before you got vaporized. You took his advice and found some old ruins to shield yourself from the sun’s deadly rays.
Some time later, an old man came to talk to you. He told you his name was Speedwagon and you recognized the name immediately. This man must be the leader of the organization that had Santana in their care.
“Santana! Is he safe? I wish to see him!” you blurted out, anxious to see your adopted son again.
Speedwagon smiled warmly at your obvious attachment. He’d never seen one of your kind show anything but violence and hatred before. You were a refreshing change of pace.
“He’s quite alright. But he’s turned back into stone at the moment. His body was badly damaged in the fight, but I’m sure a few… feedings will help him heal himself.” he said. He seemed to grow slightly uncomfortable at the mention of feeding Santana.
“Before I let you see him, however, I need to know that you can control him. He gave us quite a bit of trouble when he first woke up.” he added.
“Do not worry.” You consoled him. “Santana will listen to me before he listens to anyone else. I can make him behave.”
Speedwagon smiled.
“I’ll arrange for a plane to be fitted with a specialized compartment for you. It will be made of material that blocks sunlight. Then we’ll take you to where Santana is kept.”
“Plane?” You asked, not sure what he could be referring to. He informed you that it was one of those flying machines that you’ve been seeing in the air. You were intrigued by the idea of riding on one.
Before anything else was said, a great commotion came from outside. You and Speedwagon exchanged looks of worry and confusion before the old man turned toward the entrance.
“I better see what’s going on.” he said. He started to go back outside when he was suddenly knocked back. You darted forward, catching the old man before he could land on the hard stone floors. A sinister chuckle caught your attention and you looked up towards the entrance.
Standing there, blocking the sunlight from entering the ruins, was Kars.
“No…” You said, unable to understand how he could still be alive. Even if he survived being impaled on the crystal spikes, the sun’s rays should have reduced him to dust by now.
“How?” you demanded.
Kars licked his lips and grinned, holding up the broken shards of the Red Stone of Aja and bits of what you recognized to be one of his stone masks. He must have managed to snatch the stone from Lisa Lisa as he fell from atop the ruins where he and the female Hamon warrior chose to have their fight. How he managed to do such a thing you did not know, but Kars had always proved himself to be confoundingly resourceful.
“I’ve won, my sweet one.” he said, snickering at your growing horror. “I’ve triumphed over all that stand in my way. I’ve conquered the sun and soon I will conquer everything else. Including you!”
He let the broken pieces slide from his hands where they landed on the stone floor, then he strode up to you, towering over you and standing as the only thing blocking the sunlight from shining directly on you. You set Speedwagon down and stood between Kars and the frightened human.
“I did what everyone said I could not… no, should not do. I’ve unlocked my own potential and become a god among mortals!” he said, trembling with delight at his own power.
He suddenly reached out and seized you by the throat, lifting you off the ground. Speedwagon cried out, but there was little he could do to help you. He couldn’t fight against a monster like Kars. Kars gave your throat a squeeze, just enough to cut off your breath for a moment, before allowing you to breathe again. It was a show of just how much power he welded over you. You coughed and struggled against him. He was far stronger than you remembered and your struggles did little. Kars pulled you close, bringing his face close to yours. You almost thought he would kiss you when he turned his head so that his lips were mere inches from your ear.
“So tell me, my beloved, tell me…” he whispered. “Am I worthy of you now? I suggest you think very carefully about your answer.”
