Dazai would be beyond surprised at the date you organized for the two of you. Its not even a special day! He's not complaining in the slightest, he just... well he didn't have any time to prepare anything for you, are you sure this is okay? Next time he'll make sure to surprise you as well. Oh! And you got his favorites too, now he needs to make the next date extra special. And extra secret from you.

"All this for me? You really shouldn't have. No, I mean really, I didn't have anything ready for you. And how am I supposed to compete with this? Yeah its not a competition but you can't blame me for feeling a little overwhelmed here. Thank you, I can... at least give you kiss deserving of such a surprise."

Chuuya would get into the house and expect an ambush because everything is so damn dark. He walks around in the dark ready to fight only to have a heart attack when you turn on the lights and present him with a candle lit diner. He looks kinda stupid now in his fighting stance. He takes a bit of time to look over everything, realizing its all home cooked... for him.

"The hell babe? Why- did I forget out anniversary or something, a birthday? My birthday? No that can't be right. Shit, just tell me what it is. Nothing? Then why... just cause you love me... you... you... don't tell me sappy shit like that when I get home! You'll make me never wanna leave!"

Atsushi stares wide eyed at the bunches of flowers decorating his room. He just came back from the... nurse and honestly wanted to just lay down and sleep. Now he can't. Now he has to spin you around and kiss your all over your laughing face as he starts to fall into a dance with you. So this is why you didn't show up earlier, he should have figured you had something up your sleeve. Such a romantic, you make him swoon.

"I'm not gonna cry, I already did more then enough of that earlier. Wait, am I crying already? Oh. I didn't notice. Thank you for the flowers, I love them. Uh... but... were are we gonna put them all? I supposed we could dry them and make those cute flower books."

Ranpo already knew what you were planning, he is a top class detective after all. Still he tried his best to act surprised when you greeted him with a diner and sweets. Its a cute gesture of course, and look, he has sweets for you too. Yeah he bought them just before he got home, so you didn't suspect a thing. You look cute when you pout, he's torn between wanting to look at you and kissing you.

"It's a sweet thing you did for me, my darling. I love everything you do for me, surprise or not, I'm always happy to receive your gifts. Look at all this delicious food you've made for us. Would you sitting in my lap make you feel better. Promise to keep my hands off that little piece you've got under your clothes."

Junichirou doesn't know how to respond to the gifts you brought to him while he's recovering, and on your anniversary no less. That is entirely too much, he can't even thank you properly cause of the injuries from the fight. He will put that on the top of his list when he gets out, take you on a date that will blow your socks off, literally.

-Atsushi always gives the sweetest kisses. He's never too rough and always makes sure it's okay with you! He doesn't want to make you uncomfortable or embarrass you.

-He'll give pretty quick kisses because he gets a little shy after them and prefers to keep most of the affection private. It's not that he doesn't like when you give him longer kisses, he just prefers for others to not see it.

-" A kiss? Well.. If it's alright with you then just a quick one, okay? "

-Kunikida is a gentleman to say the least. He doesn't prefer to give kisses during work hours but, will give them occasionally if you ask him. Normally, they'll be on your forehead unless you specify.

-He's very simple when it comes to kissing. He doesn't need affection to get through the day but, he doesn't mind it. He'll accept a kiss on his cheek while he's working or even a quick peck on the lips.

-Usually, kisses are quick with him if they aren't at home. He likes to keep them short and sweet so don't expect much more unless you both are alone at home.

-" Hm? A kiss? Just a quick one. "

-Ranpo loves kissing. It's one of his favorite forms of affection. Nobody at the Agency ever questions him when he whines at you for a kiss from across the office either. They all basically ignore it since you'll get up and go give him what he wants.

-Big fan on longer kisses and would kiss you forever if that was an option. He knows he can't but, it won't stop him from wanting to. He loves to hug you when he kisses you as well!

-His favorite place to kiss you is very obviously your lips but, he doesn't mind kissing your cheeks or letting you kiss his cheeks. It's honestly adorable when you do kiss his cheeks cause he's happy!

-Junichiro isn't the clingy or overly affectionate type when it comes to kisses or honestly any affection. That doesn't mean he doesn't like them though, he really likes them!

-He loves to kiss you but, only occasionally. He'll kiss you more often than Kunikida does but, he still isn't too overly affectionate with them. He'll kiss your cheek the most or the top of your head if he happens to be taller than you.

-" Oh, hey, (name). Did you want a quick kiss before I headed out? "

-Yosano is so polite and sweet with her kisses. It's honestly almost like a 180 from part of her normal personality. She's very gentle and will often kiss your hand or your forehead while holding your face or placing her hand on your shoulder.

-She really enjoys kisses herself as well! When you kiss her hand or cheek, she smiles at the affection you gave her. It makes her feel loved and happy so she really enjoys it!

-If she does happen to be taller than you, in hugs she'll kiss the top of your head and just rest her lips there till you both decide to pull away which is normally around 10 seconds.

Atsushi

Since he’s never received any good forms of physical contact, at first he’s a bit scared. So frightened that he almost falls down from bed, because he’s afraid to be close to you. You need to introduce him to this type of feeling, slowly assure him that you’re not here to hurt him. Even if you’re really close on a daily basis, Atsushi’s still hesitant, since during sleep he’s completely vulnerable. But after a few nights together, he’s the most cuddly person on the whole planet. Big spoon, loves to hug you from behind and has that strong ass dead grip, not letting you go anywhere. He’s never slept so calmly before, and he doesn’t plan on losing it.

Dazai

Dazai likes to cuddle before sleep. He rubs your back, arms, plays with your hair and loves to pepper your skin with tiny kisses. He also wants all of this in return. However, once you say the final “goodnight”, everything changes. This little bitch turns around so that you’re facing his back, gripping the duvet as hard as he can. You can be sure that he steals most of it to himself, and that there’s no way of taking it back, because after only a few seconds you can hear him snore (you also know that he’s only pretending, but there’s nothing you can do about it). Kunikida

He babbles about his ideals interchangeably with scolding Dazai.

Ranpo

Ranpo wants you to cuddle him if that makes sense. He wants to be pampered, so scratch his back, stroke his arms and play with his hair. His head is full of ideas so he needs something different to focus on to fall asleep, and the way you rub his skin helps him just perfectly. But be prepared that as much as you may love this guy, you’ll hate him during the night. He’s everywhere on the bed, spreaded like a cat on a hot summer day. One leg hanging from the side, the other on you, left hand high above his head, right, no matter how many times you smack it away, keeps slapping your face. It’s not an easy night but at least he doesn’t snore, right? …right?

Tanizaki

Weirdly enough, he looks like he’s the most normal of them all. He’s just a guy that wants to cuddle before sleeping with his loved one beside. He hugs you, talks about his day and asks about yours. Tanizaki listens to you very carefully, playing with your hair and stroking your leg with his. If you can’t fall asleep he even offers to hum you a song. He likes to be a big spoon and a small spoon, but his all time favorite position is on his back, your head on his chest, while he hugs you closer to his body.

He whined as he pushed you off of him, reaching for the now dirty candy. He pouted as he got up and threw it away. You sat there flabbergasted, all your planning gone in just a split second as Ranpo was unfazed once again. 'Why can't you just react to my comments for once!' You exclaimed as you crossed your arms. Ranpo sat back down in his chair again. The pout he once had slowly turned into a smirk as he saw you sitting on the floor in front of him. You looked at him with confusion as he grabbed your chin. This man can not flirt if his life depended on it, his idea of flirting are sharing his ideals and then saying that you fit the majority of them

He once asked Dazai as a last resort how to deal with you and your flirts

Dazai had the time of his LIFE, he was actually so happy his suicide attempt failed that morning because he didn't want to miss this for his life

'Are you sure this will work.' The blonde man asked his colleague as he stared at your working form. He smiled at the sight of your tongue poking out because you were concentrating so hard. The brunette nodded eagerly. 'Yes yes! as long as you do it exactly as I taught you, it'll be fine!' Dazai ushered him in your direction. Kunikida swallowed a lump in his throat as he tried to look as relaxed as possible. You didn't notice your lover walking up to you until he cleared his throat. You looked up from you computer screen and lit up as you saw him. 'There’s an empty spot here and I'm waiting for you to fill it.' You said to him as you patted your lap. He had to bite his tongue to keep him from bailing on his plan, he looked behind him to see Dazai standing there with his thumbs up. Kunikida shook his head as he turned his attention back to you. You looked at him suspiciously. 'Is there something wrong, love? You seem nervous.' He shook his head. 'No, it's just that I think your father is a thief.' You looked at him with an offended expression. 'Excuse me? What did you say?' He immediately panicked as he saw your furrowed brows and fire filled glare. 'I-I mean that I think your father is a thief because he stole all the stars and put them into your eyes.' He blurted out. Your glare turned into a soft expression as you registered the flirty comment. He still stood there, Dazai laughing behind him. Kunikida was slowly turning more and more red as you smiled at him. 'That was very sweet, thank you.' You replied after an agonizing long silence. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as he smiled back at you. He was never going to do this again.

Akiko Yosano

She can flirt, don't get me wrong, but her flirts are mostly medically related

A mischievous smile crept onto your features as you thought of a way to repay his kind words. 'I would look even more perfect on top of you.' You giggled as it was now his turn to stop functioning.

Dancing in the Rain-

An Osamu Dazai short fic

The day was pretty gloomy. Tiny raindrops dripped from the sky, collecting in murky puddles on the ground of the dirty street. The agency believed it was a nice day to stay inside, they had no jobs and they hadn’t spent much time together in a while. Atsushi was the one who suggested a little party, to celebrate all the good they had done.

While everyone was busy mingling and partying, you were sitting alone, staring at a book you had just recently bought. It’s not that you weren’t friends with everyone, in fact the others loved you, but you were more content with sitting quietly and enjoying the sounds of your friends having fun. Their laughter brought you joy, something that you could not verbally express, something you would never be able to verbally express.

You glanced around the room, watching as Atsushi was attempting to show Kyoka to dance, with Ranpo of course trying to one up him. He always needed to be better.

Kunikida and Akiko were in the corner talking, though what they were discussing was a mystery to you. Next to them was Kenji who was passed out on the floor after stuffing his face with everything he could fit.

Then there was Juun’ichirou and Naomi being… well whatever the hell they were. She was all over him as per usual and he was trying every single way to get her to back off. Obviously, it wasn’t working because she had basically glued herself to his hip.

You did another look over the room, then realized someone was missing. Dazai. You stood up, placing the book down on the chair you were sitting in.

Kunikida seemed to take notice of your urgency, looking at you with slight concern. “Are you alright? Did you sense something?” He was referring to your ability, which granted you heightened senses.

You shook your head, pointing at every member in the room. He looked confused, unsure of what you were trying to tell him. You huffed, reaching for your notebook and writing down on the paper.

Dazai is missing.

“Oh, yes, it appears that he is,” He said, not seeming to care all that much. “I’m sure he’s off somewhere attempting to kill himself. No need to be worried.”

You glared at him, crossing your arms over your chest in frustration.

“What? If you’re really that worried go look for him. I’m sure his dumbass is trapped in a river or barrel,” With that he turned his head back to Akiko, who simply stood there with a hideous grin on her face.

You sighed, walking out the door and skipping down the steps. Dazai was your closest friend. You and him had become incredibly close after he rescued you from the Port Mafia. He helped you control your ability, and gave you a voice when you couldn’t use your own. So, in turn, you vowed to keep that idiot alive, no matter what it took.

Once you made it outside, you regretted not grabbing an umbrella. The rain was pouring much harder than before, instantly soaking your white button up. You quickly made it under the cover of a shop building, looking around to try and find Dazai.

Luckily, he must have been nearby as you picked up on his footsteps, however the sound was faint, thanks to the cacophony of rain flooding your ears. You did your best to follow the sound, tracing it all the way to the river.

Dazai was leaning against the railing, his fluffy brown hair soaked, creating a blanket over his eyes. If he could see right now it would be a damn miracle.

You approached him, tapping his shoulder. He didn’t turn, just smiled a bit. “I had a feeling you’d come looking for me.” You nodded in response, though you doubted he could see it at all.

He spun around, giving you a good look at him. He was drenched, and he didn’t even seem to care. “Are you wondering what I’m doing out here and why I’m not out having fun with the others?” You nodded once more. “Well, I was hoping you and I could have a moment. Alone.”

Your face flushed, which then caused you to glance down at the ground, not wanting to meet his gaze. He chuckled, resting his hand on top of your head. “No need to get all flustered there.” This only made you more flustered. You knew he was doing it on purpose too.

He removes his hand from your head and takes a hold of your chin, carefully tipping your head up to face him. “Come on, look at me,” He smirked a bit, your heart fluttering in response.

He lets go, grabbing your hand. You looked at him, flustered and confused. “I want to dance with you,” He smiled, pulling your body against his. He stared down at you, watching for a reaction. Hesitantly, you looked up at him, a cocky grin plastered on his face.

He begins to sway, his hand making its way to your waist, only pulling you two closer together. Your face was hot, so hot that even the cool raindrops couldn’t get rid of the burning sensation.

Another look at him, and he wasn’t grinning or smirking anymore, he was smiling. “You know, I’ve wanted to do this for a while,” He spun the two of you around. “I’ve wanted to know what it’s like to be this close to you,” He leaned his head down, his lips just barely touching yours. “Do you also want to know how it feels to be this close to me?”

Your heart was hammering in your chest. You were frozen in time, your eyes trapped in his. You didn’t know what to do, or how to react. Of course this is what you wanted, you’ve wanted it for so long, but you struggled to respond.

He pulled back, resting his chin on the top of your head, holding you in a tight embrace. “Another time, perhaps,” He hummed softly, closing his eyes.

You laid your head on his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat, continuing to sway to the melody of the rain.

Hello! I dont know if you are taking requests rn but if you feel comfortable could you write the bsd characters helping/comforting reader through a bad panic attack? Maybe reader has been super stressed w/ school or work and has just been bottling things up until they snap. Personally my panic attacks are intense: hyperventilating, shaking, tears, digging my fingers into my arms and legs almost bruisingly, unable to hold my weight- just in case you need ideas. If this is uncomfortable for you then dont worry about it. Love your writing!!!

Doesn't know why you're suddenly digging your nails into your skin or why you're crying

But he's no idiot, he knows this isn't a normal occurrence, so does what he thinks is best 

And that is using Rashoumon's tendrils to gently hold your hands.

Akutagawa just doesn't want you hurting yourself and he also doesn't want to potentially make the situation worse by not giving you the space you need

Rashoumon holding your hands makes you aware that you're having a panic attack 

You cry harder when you meet Akutagawa's soft eyes and embrace him as you cry into his arms. You never wanted him to see you like this

Once you've calmed down enough, you explain to him that you were having a panic attack and tell him what causes them and what he can do to help you next time

He's so attentive and commits everything you said to memory so he can do what he can to prevent or ease your panic attacks

Atsushi:

He is trying

He is panicking so much internally and externally

Clueless #2

Atsushi has no clue what to do

So he does what he thinks is right

He tries to instruct you to follow his breaths once he sees your panic attack escalate into hyperventilating 

"I'm going to need you to follow my breaths, can you do that for me?"

He's relieved that you're still conscious and able to nod

He guides your hand to his chest and places your other hand on your own chest

Slowly he starts breathing in and nods at you to follow his breathing

"Take a breath. Now slowly exhale with me"

"Yes, that's it, just like that"

This goes on for several minutes

It was difficult at first, but his steady breathing did calm you down enough to start breathing more slowly

Once it's over, he's hugging you and stroking your hair just letting you cry silently into his shoulder

Chuuya:

Idk but he gives me the vibe that he'll probably handle it the best

He's wiping your tears with his gloved hands because he doesn't have tissues in his pockets

He makes a note to bring tissues next time in case you have another panic attack

He's holding you gently against his chest so you can listen to his steady heartbeat

He's rubbing your back telling you to let it all out

The soft fall and rise of his chest comforts you and encourages you to slow your breathing

He's so understanding and gentle

He's whispering words of assurance into your hair

He's rubbing circles into your back and gently kisses your forehead once the panic attack passes

Dazai:

I feel like Dazai has a vague idea of what to do and just tries whatever he thinks will calm you down

He's seen how stressed you had been lately because of the numerous assignments and deadlines you needed to meet

Dude's really calm about it and just tries to find a way that gets you through this safely

He sits next to you and gently clasps his hands in yours to stop you from digging your fingers into your skin

"I'm right here" keeps whispering that to you to try calm you down

Throughout your panic attack, he keeps eye contact with you because he wants to give you his full attention.

At some point, you collapse into his arms from exhaustion and he likes to rub your back and wipe your tears

Kunikida:

Like Chuuya, he handles it very well

The only thing is, his way is more professional, like it was written in a manual and he's following the steps kind of way

It doesn't matter tho, because it does work and you're no longer sobbing uncontrollably

He is almost 100% prepared, but then your legs start to give way from exhaustion and he's holding you gently in his arms allowing you to rest

However, the next day you get a whole lecture from him about the importance of rest

Don't misunderstand tho, he's only nagging because he cares deeply about you 

He's very sweet afterwards to make up for being stern tho <3

He bought you your favourite food for lunch and he insists that you let him help you with your tasks

Ranpo:

It doesn't take a Detective to tell that you're having a panic attack

Ranpo drops all his snacks and runs to you

Your legs shake and feel weak

He loops an arm around you to support you as you start to buckle

He's never seen you hyperventilate so he's shocked for a moment or two

But not long after, he's motioning for you to try regulate your breathing

He's taking deep breaths in and exhaling slowly 

Your breaths are still coming in and out faster than Ranpo's but they slow down significantly

You grab his hand and squeeze it to ground yourself

He holds your other hand and you're both breathing while he looks into your eyes

Once it's passed, he's super sweet like Kunikida and he even shares his favourite snacks with you

Tanizaki:

Like Atsushi, he's probably panicking

But it's less obvious in his case

He knows that he has to stay calm in this situation for you, so he's wiping your tears and telling you how important you are to him

He sits you down on his seat and he kneels beside you 

Your hands are clasped in your lap and he wraps his warm hands around your hands

He's rubbing circles into your hands and occasionally wiping your tears

You hate that you allowed yourself to become so overwhelmed where you're having a panic attack

But he's reassuring you that it's OK to feel overwhelmed and that you can always come to him because he loves and cares for you

You thank him and he smiles and only hugs you tighter reminding you of your importance to him

A/N: I rarely see some of these characters included in posts so I'm more than happy to write for them.

Dazai loves kissing quickly you when you're with him at work, even in front of everyone else. Your flustered responses and the way you hide your face in his coat are way too tempting to resist. It's not often that he kisses you when you're working on a case, only if he feels like he's about to go into a really hard fight.

Chuuya wants to kiss you all the time but he's a little bashful about it in front of others. His kisses are hard, passionate, filled with a lot of tongue and moans, stolen where no one can see the two of you. Sometimes he can't help it, his hands just find their way under your clothes and he has to be reminded that you're still at work. But he'll leave you breathless anyways.

Atsushi is very shy with his kisses at first. He hasn't gotten many to begin with so how can he know if he's doing what you want him too? You don't mind that at all, even if it's just a kiss on the cheek you're more than happy to receive it from him and give him twice as many in return.

Ranpo is very sneaky with his kisses. They're always teasing, meant to leave you wanting more when your shifts end you're finally all alone. It's not uncommon for him to sneak up on you and blow on your ear before stealing a kiss right as you gasp in surprise.

Akutagawa is pretty demanding. When he wants to kiss you he will, doesn't matter whose around to see it. He relishes and savors all of your moans and gasps and whimpers as you fist your hands into his coat, asking for more, needing more. Of course he'll give them to you, you only need to ask properly.

Doppo keeps things very professional at work. But that only means you're both all the more needy for each other when you finally get home. There's never any shortage of kisses, neck bites or his limbs tangling with yours once he finally gets you behind close doors and feels you tugging him close.

Junichirou as with a lot of things, can be a little impulse when it comes to kisses and catch you off guard. I put Ryuro Hirotsu, Yukichi Fukuzawa, and Ogai Mori in top places because of their age and wealth. They will talk about starting a family soon, maybe trying to be so obvious, like they would see a child no I’m not considering Elise here and have a baby fever, however if you show any kind of discomfort by it they are going stop and have a serious talk about it.

Doppo Kunikida and Sakunosuke Odasaku would totally want some children, in the future or sooner. While with Oda I can see him being more like “if it happens it happens”, Doppo would have any planned before hand.

Akiko Yosano and Kouyou Ozaki or mommys are going to be very happy to start a family! Maybe they will try a little to convince you to start one, but if you say that you aren’t ready or a simple “no” they will accept it without problems. I think Kyouko is going to be a little more pushy than Yosano thought.

Ranpo Edogawa and Osamu Dazai they are… Uhm… Not really that much interested. For now. It’s not something they ever thought about, like if you brought it up they are going to be surprised. I put them higher only because if you talk about it multiple times or got pregnant, they would probably take their responsibilities and start a family. They only need time.

Motojiro Kaiji and Ango Sagakuchi are very similar to Ranpo and Dazai actually. Neither of them really thought about having a family, but I don’t think they are against the idea of starting one. They simply need time since works come first, and it’s better to have a more normal life style for a child looking at you kaiji.

Chuuya Nakahara and Ichiyou Higuchi would be actually kind of scared and confused to start a family. They are both wealthy enough to take care of children, but they also know that it doesn’t come from a good place, especially for children. I put Higuchi lower simply cause she wonders if she is going to be a good mom, while Chuuya is going to get pretty used to the idea sooner.

Junichirou Tanizaki, Atsushi Nakajima, and Ryunosuke Akutagawa are the ones who only start thinking about family after a long while. I don’t think that the three of them would be ready to have such responsibilities on their shoulder, since they are very young, but I’ll say that Atsushi and Akutagawa are going to be the ones most against starting a family even if older while Junichirou will maybe open up to the idea.
