NGL I am tempted to, when Never Shall We Die is finished (this time next year perhaps?) to get it bound in a book with all the art I've made for it.
(and also print a cover page to have it signed by Rhysie, Con and VIco when I'm in NYCC this October. If anyone who reads this is there, I'd love to say hi)
Is it indulgent? Too much? Maybe.
But I also wonder if anyone who reads it would be interested...
Honestly though what I would have to do is to do several volumes of it hahaha since um 400k words is a LOT of book.
Man, you know, respect those who are like: I want to have the fic in my head, I just don't want to write it. I just want it written. And facetious are not, it's fine, it's cool, your mood is your mood but, man...
I love the writing part. Even when I'm struggling. I wouldn't give up this struggle for the world because I discover so many things through the process. How I direct the words and characters and motivations. How I surprise myself and depress myself and find things in me that I didn't even know it was there.
For me, having it all out in one go with no input just feels like, to me, missing the ride.
like my biggest thing is that i don’t mind ted lasso being referred to as show about mental health!!! it’s just. I don’t get why they’re PRAISED for it. why they go to the white house to praise themselves for it considering,,,,,, Ted’s mental health worsened in season three, they had rebecca see a psychic instead of a therapist, they only put roy in therapy in the last like minute of the show, they made a joke about jamie seeing sharon because unlike keeley “she’s actually paid to listen to you talk” and they just treated it like a. oh haha jamie talks so much about himself haha. beard’s mental health was only addressed in like one episode (two if you count mom city but still they didn’t really delve into his mental health, just that he betrayed ted) and they kept making jokes about his obviously abusive relationship,,,,,, like. ted lasso is about mental health yeah but. God. them praising themselves about it and talking so much about men’s mental health and everything …idk.
