(I know Sirius would never use Dark Magic, but I also think it’d be really funny for every Death Eater to underestimate him only to get hit in the face with the knowledge of “Oh yeah, he was raised by Walburga and Orion Black and was heir for years” and just regret every decision that led them to this point, so like, cherry-picking my canon when it comes to crack headcanons)

But no, like all crack fic ideas aside, this is such a Sirius line. Because he would. No, he'd likely never resort of dark magic, but he wouldn't need to, would he? Sirius is insanely clever, and he did grow up with the Blacks, a very dark pureblooded family. Can you just imagine everything he had access to and learned from them that never even touched on the Dark Arts? All that ancient magic, all those books they likely had in their home. There's really almost unending possibilities to what Sirius could do if he put even half his mind to it.

Actually, Nevermind #1

I have a shoebox of things I plan on getting rid of. These are easy items I don't need to think twice about. When I come across something and I think, "Why do I even have this?" It goes in the box, until I decide if I can give it to a friend, donate, or recycle/trash it.

Before going to that box, this patch was living in a pouch full of other patches for years. (One of those projects I hoard and never get to) I have never read a Dog Man book, or any of Dav Pilkey's more famous books, so when I was going through my patches, I thought this would be easy to get rid of.

But as I look upon it today, the color, the shape, the smile, it's so perfect. I struggle to let it go. I have a strong desire to keep it. I would love to sew this onto my vest eventually. Who cares if I have no attachment to the franchise? If I personally knew someone that would love it, this would be an easy gift to give. But I don't, so I'll keep it.

Verdict: This patch was either a leftover from an event when working at a bookstore, or was part of an advance reader copy. I definitely didn't take the ARC if there was one, but I obviously took the patch. So not a waste of money, and I'm no longer going to get rid of it.
