Top Five Favorite Episodes of "BABYLON 5" (Season Three: "Point of No Return")

Below is a list of my top five (5) favorite episodes from Season Three (1995-1996) of "BABYLON 5". Created by J. Michael Straczynski, the series starred Bruce Boxleitner, Claudia Christian, Jerry Doyle and Mira Furlan:

TOP FIVE FAVORITE EPISODES OF "BABYLON 5" (SEASON THREE: "POINT OF NO RETURN")

1. (3.10) "Severed Dreams" - In this outstanding episode, President Clark of Earth Alliance tries to seize control of Babylon 5 by force, forcing station commander Captain John J. Sheridan and the command crew to take arms against their own government and initiating the Earth Civil War. The episode won the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation in 1997.

2. (3.15) "Interludes and Examinations" - Captain Sheridan struggles to gather a force against the Shadows, when the Shadow War begins in earnest. Ambassador Londo Mollari looks forward to a reunion with a past lover, and Dr. Franklin falls further into his stims addiction.

3. (3.09) "Point of No Return" - When President Clark declares martial law throughout Earth Alliance, the command crew tries to stop Nightwatch from taking control of the station. Meanwhile, Ambassador Londo Mollari receives a prophecy from Emperor Turhan's widow when she visits the station.

4. (3.16-3.17) "War Without End" - This is a two-part episode in which the station's former commander, Jeffrey Sinclair, returns to participate in a mission vital to the future survival of Babylon 5 - traveling back in time to steal Babylon 4 and send it to the past.

5. (3.05) "Voices of Authority" - Commander Susan Ivanova and Ranger Marcus Cole search for more of the First Ones with the help of Draal, while Sheridan comes under the scrutiny of the Nightwatch and Babylon 5's new "political officer".

My Angua Playlist! I Didn't like Angua much at first but she won me over, and now she's enough my fave to have earned a playlist. my beautiful girl with a disorder, theres so much complex stuff going on with her relationship to herself, her family, carrot, the watch. i love revolving it all in my head. Angua is a cynical pessimist, she's so sure she's going to be abandoned, that she'll slip back into her old bad ways, that she'll be attacked for what she is and have to run again. she always has one foot out of the door:

Through looking at their other work and ages at the time, I've figured out which characters shared between the games that the voice actors shared between the games are voicing.

Don Beard - Herman Nootix Paulino Duran - Ivan Idea Timothy Enos - Rock Solid Walter Fields - The Ick Brothers, Carmine Lorrin Jones - Renee Santz Deborah Sale - Carmen Sandiego, Dee Plomassy Trish Tillman - Kim Yoonity Randi Williams - Ann Tikwittee

You'll notice that USA has several voice actors who would go on to be pretty big names: Steve Blum, Barbara Goodson, Wendee Lee, Tony Pope, Doug Stone and Kirk Thornton!

And now here's the voice talent from Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego? (1997).

Unlike the prior two games, the characters each voice actor plays get credited.

Worth noting is Tim Enos being the only one to reprise his previous role, Rock Solid, and that even bigger names are present: Roger L. Jackson (Ghostface and Mojo Jojo), Charles Martinet (the Super Mario Bros.) and Terry McGovern (Launchpad McQuack) are all in this!

I’m bored and don’t feel like writing and also I miss The Silver Sun so here’s a list of songs that remind me of The Silver Sun and the explanation because I can :)

Oh No! - Marina and the Diamonds

Most of the lyrics honestly make me think of Xisuma, more specifically Silver Xisuma, as I like to call him. Basically the whole other side of Xisuma that was brought out when he finally joined the Silver Sun

Below the Surface - Griffinilla

The beginning part, up to the line “you’re here to serve” feels like a mix of Sylvia/the watcher talking to Xisuma, as well as the kidnapped/brainwashed hermits calling out to him. “His (Ex) voice means to deceive you, my voice just wants to lead you” would be Sylvia, while lines such as “(S)He (Sylvia) was the one that made us, you’ll be the one to save us.”

The Family Jewels - Marina and the Diamonds

Similar to Oh No, this entire song makes me think of Ex. It feels like Ex is calling out to his brother, brainwashed/silver Xisuma. Mostly the lines “Oh, don't you find it strange? Only thing we share is one last name Did I beat you at your own game? Typical of me to put us all to shame.”

My Alcohol Friends - The Dresden Dolls

I honestly have no reason for this one. I just feels like it fits? Not much explanation. It just feels like it would fit with Xisuma angst, and I like that.

Without You - Oh Wonder

This song just feels like the emotions that Xisuma was going through as he watched his brother and all his friends leave with the Watcher/Sylvia. I know it’s more of a love song, or at least I think it is, but it’s definitely more of a brotherly love in the context of the song.

The Mind Electric - Joe Hawley

From the line “I was just a boy you see, I plead of thee, have sympathy for me” up until the end of the song, it feels like Sylvia attempting to manipulate Xisuma into joining her. I like it because it reminds me of Xisuma angst.

Goodbye - Bo Burnham

From the line “If I wake up in a house full of smoke) up until the end, it reminds me of Xisuma talking to brainwashed/silver Ex, mostly the line “Oh s#%t, you’re really joking at a time like this?” The remainder of the song sounds like it’s coming from Sylvia, convincing Xisuma to put on the mask and join her cult

Evelyn - Kim Tillman and Silent Films

This one was actually recommended to me by the lovely @sweetest-honeybee , who you should go follow and support because they are the COOLEST! It’s hard for me to really describe this song, or how it reminds me of TSS, but it just, does.
