nickerbocker doll, fabric faded on his shoulder, just looking for a year

difficult to pinpoint a specific year, but based on this photo i can tell you he was manufactured between 1963 and sometime in the mid 1970s-- before knickerbocker switched to acrylic yarn for the hair.

i might be able to narrow down the timeline a bit if i had a picture of his tag!
