I wanna get around to doing some small story beats for the "Main Six Takes Manhattan" story. It'd be a good chance for me to play around with different art styles too.
I'm really excited about this story too because it'd be splitting everyone up into pairs for their own little arc.
Rarity attends a fashion showcase in upper Manhattan, with April-Jacqueline in tow as her "attendant." The two get swept up in industry drama as they uncover the abuse faced by amateur designer Carol Cho under the American fashion house "Polomare."
Pinkie and Thea head to Harlem for a rent party, hosted by Thea's city friends. Despite Thea's protestations, Pinkie can't help but be the life of the party as its tenants and musicians attempt to raise enough money to fight their landlords and demand housing justice.
Dash and Félicie navigate NYC's transportation system to go to a ball game: the New York Wonderbolts vs. the Washington Senators. While Dash meets her heroes, Félicie can't help but feel homesick and smothered by the big city.

When Strongberry has to release a letter telling people that, no seriously, the actors aren't really dating and stop harassing one of them for having a girlfriend in real life... y'all, this is why I absolutely do not engage in most fan and actor related content. It's terrifying out there.
Also why I'm not a big fan of fanservice, honestly. As this letter proves, there are people out there that see fanservice and decide it's not just real but more real than reality and I see it all over and this is just... man, I do not get it and I don't want to get it.
I see posts recommended to me trying to 'explain' why Ohm and Nanon aren't acting together as them hiding their relationship or the huge amounts of people declaring that 'these two actors are dating for real' and just... again and again.
Actors are real people and everything you see of them in the public's eye is, to one extent or another, acting. Their private lives are just that. Private. And they deserve that.
The fact that Strongberry has to release a statement about this for something on an actor's personal instagram is just... painful. @absolutebl Why we both fall where we fall on fanservice exemplified.
