Korean webnovels licensed on Radish Fiction

My topic is VADD posting, but I would like some Korean novel readers to pay attention to this post:

Last year Kakao Entertainment acquired the companies Radish Fiction and Tapas Media. Due to this, on Radish App you can find some webtoons that were licensed by Tapas (all those webtoons have the credits of Tapas Media at the end of their episodes). But also, Radish has started licensing k-novels that are available on Kakaopage.

I want to clarify that Radish App is only available in English.

Azul: Me, Kalim, Jamil, Appfel and Evonie all went with them and took the kidnappers by surprise, Livia made them swear loyalty to the Draconia family if they wanted to survive

Azul: Turned out Appfel had been working with the kidnappers and targeted me since I was the closest to him, he used a torch to burn my eyes but Livia and Kalim got him away from me and hauled me back to the valley

Azul: *Shakes his head* It would've worsened my eyes but I got to learn under Lady Thea Vanrouge and become a healer, I also learned some things from Council Member Bronze!

Azul: That's why I'm the schools nurse and resident librarian, the end

Thought you all would find this interesting, there will be more but these individuals are the more important ones as it stands right now.

Clarissa Cretillon

The Headmistress of Aurelian Academy.

A gentle woman by nature, she has strived to make Aurelian Academy the perfect “home away from home” for her students. Though don’t let that fool you, her ire is reminiscent to hellfire being rained down from the sky.

Appearance: Clarissa is 5’3”, with raven black hair that falls to the middle of her back in soft curls. She has a warm honey complexion that complements the golden shade of her eyes. Pure white wings, with offshoots of gold, are situated proudly on her back. She has a petite physique.

Species: Nephilim, Archangel.

Theon Hale

The Master of Shadows.

A man that makes the darkness of the world, and the whispers that lie within them, his home. He’s a hard to read man, but he has a soft spot for Clarissa.

Appearance: Theon stands at around 6’1”, obsidian black eyes, that hold flecks of silver, peer out with untold knowledge. Silvery white hair, that retains an almost bluish hue, falls to just passed his shoulders, and brings out the light tawny complexion of his skin. He has a lean physique.

Species: Shade.

Evony Andora

The Whispering Wind.

An enigma wrapped in an alluring package, she’s a woman that enraptures many that come across her presence. With a sharp wit and silver tongue, Lady Evony is quite the persuasive woman, even as something more lurks beneath the surface.

Appearance: Standing at around 5’9”, 6’1” in her heels, her porcelain complexion brings out the amethyst hue of her eyes. Soft, lavender hair falls to her hips in billowing waves. She has an elegant physique.

Species: Born an Elf, she’s now a Vampire.

Calix Locke

The Newcomer.

The newest addition to the teaching staff of Aurelian, he’s a soft-spoken man that has high aspirations for a better future for the supernatural race. Teaching General Studies, a required class for every student regardless of designation.

Appearance: He stands at around 5’8”, his dark brown hair cropped short. Complementing the rich umber tone of his skin, which brings out the slate gray of his eyes. He has a slender physique.

Species: Kelpie.

Astrid Johansson

The Hardened Warrior.

Teaches combat, tactics, and various other things in that realm, within Aurelian Academy. She’s a strict teacher, expecting nothing but the best, but she knows the limits of her students and works hard to make them the best they can be. (Her actual last name is Jóhannsdóttir, but she changed it to Johansson for a variety of reasons.)

Appearance: At a solid height of 6’6”, Astrid is an intimidating woman with perfectly honed muscle. The icy blueness of her eyes, reminiscent of the scenery back home, complements the golden blonde of her hair, which falls to just beneath her shoulders when it’s out of the single braid. Her naturally fair complexion has a slight tan to it.

Species: Valkyrie.

DCA Info Part 43: Apple Jewel Outfits 🍎

Style: Classical

A brand that features a more mature and modern version of fairytale gowns. The clothes all have apple motifs and gemstone accessories. The outfits are reminiscent of 1500s clothing but with a more idol style to them. This is one of two brands that Evonie uses.

Apple Tea

"A refined lady sits in a garden surrounded by the calm winds of the forest, truly a perfect time to drink tea while the birds sing a lovely tune"

The outfit: The dress itself appears to consists of two layers, the first layer being a pale yellow dress with a waterfall hemline and lace cuffs layered underneath a red and blue dress with puff sleeves, brown braid cuffs, and brown lines dividing the colors. The footwear consists of a pair of blue shoes with gold trim and pale yellow bows.

Accessories: The outfit comes with a navy blue sunhat with pale yellow lace trim. The hat includes red ribbon with bronze trim and a bronze pearl chain and brooch with a red gem. There are also a pair of earrings that are the same shape as the hat brooch. This outfit additionally includes a blue choker with gold trim, pale yellow lace and the brooch in the same shape as before. Lastly this ensemble includes a pair of white gloves alongside a pair of blue cuffs with gold trim and pale yellow lace.

Note: This is based on Evonie’s Apple Tea Dress.

Everlasting Princess

"Red roses that signify romance of the fairytale, an ending of eternal happiness"

The outfit: This dress consists of a halter illusion top with the halter portion including a transparent deep red pattern of roses with bronze trim. The bodice itself is a straight across one, has gold trim and is pale yellow in color with ruffle trim at the bottom. The sleeves are blue off-shoulder ones with gold trim on the top and bottom with pale yellow ruffle trim and is layered over blue and yellow puff sleeves with pale yellow ruffle cuffs and the blue portion is held together with a red gem with a gold exterior. The top half of the outfit also includes a blue corset with gold outlines on the top and bottom with a red rose pattern printed on, as well as three red roses on the bottom center. The skirt is made up of two layers with the top one being an asymmetrical one with the same red rose pattern as the corset, as well as having three red roses bunched together on each side and are attached to three bronze pearl strands. The bottom layer of the skirt is a sold yellow.

Accessories: The accessories include a hairpiece that has three red roses and a blue ribbon at the end. This outfit also includes a pair of floral brooch earrings with red gems, a bronze choker attached to a strand of bronze beads and a pair of short pale yellow gloves.

Joyous Blue Bird

"Listen to the wonderful song of the friendly blue bird that met the innocent princess in a field of flowers"

The outfit: Inspired by Snow White's bluebird friends, this dress is mostly light blue in color with pale yellow accents. The dress itself has an off shoulder top with the neckline appearing to be wrapped and have pale yellow lace lining the bottom. The sleeves appear to be double puffed ones with pale yellow ruffle cuffs. The light blue portion of the top extends to the skirt and is tied to resemble flowing ruffles. The skirt is pale yellow in color and has gold lining and ruffle trim. The footwear consists of a pair of light blue boots with yellow soles and top trim as well as periwinkle petunias attached to blue ribbon.

Accessories: The accessories include a periwinkle colored petunia, gold floral earrings with blue gems, a gold necklace with a blue floral gem brooch, a blue and gold trimmed belt and a blue bird nested on top of three periwinkle petunias attached to a blue ribbon.

honestly i don't even care a whole lot about ads being present. i grew up on the internet so I've always had ads there in the margins or whatever.

the thing that pushed me to get an adblocker was ads that are in the way. ads that show up in the middle of the screen, or pop up from the bottom and slide along with the outage, or open a menu from hovering over a panel on the side, or are shoved in the middle of a block of text.

another benefit to having an adblocker is that a lot of ads nowadays are really really really bad. there have always been weird vaguely sexual ads like the classic evony lady with the big boobs saying "you need to save your kingdom!" or whatever. but that's tame compared to some of the outright pornographic shit I've had shoved at me for having the gall to watch videos with vtubers in them

What's your favorite type of manhua protagonist?

Def the bad bitch who doesn't let anything get her down, especially if they've been through hell and are forging a new path for themselves. Lady Evony is a fantastic example of this if you're looking for recs!

That said I'm also a sucker for a character who is just kinda tired and done with everything, and yet they simply cannot stop themselves from caring. That's what got me through most of The Lady Needs a Break until the prince character surpassed my annoyance threshold. They work as both fun comic relief as they're too tired to play along with the typical drama, but also can be somewhat relatable and even aspirational as they come to terms with the fact that they will simply never stop loving.

Floyd… don’t tell me he wouldn’t do anything weird to himself now that he’s a girl. He’d probably show Azul how comfy and colorful wearing a different underwear is. Freaking lifts his skirt and the girls just pile on Floyd to stop him because LADIES DON’T DO THAT!

Ella would just be giddy and offer to make them outfits even though it was just temporary but the boys being feminine just sparks a lot of ideas into her head!

All in all, it would be an eventful day. And most wouldn’t have as much difference in their interactions while certain few would.

As the family walked to their rooms in the palace grounds, all Evonie could hear out of her uncle Florian was constant nagging about Malleus.

"My daughter whom I love unconditionally and would vehemently die for, it is incredibly incomprehensible for you to agree to dance with that pretentious little prince." He nagged, making his daughter sigh heavily.

Vivian gently patted his back."Darling you and I both know that prince Allen was the one who selected the two of them to dance…" She argued.

Florian hummed."My darling, it is unseemly! It is preposterous, IT IS UTTER MADNESS!" He complained.

"Florian!-"

Epel hummed."Father I'm sure Victoria will fulfill her promise by not associating herself with the Draconian royal family. It just happens that they somehow encounter one another…" Epel added, crossing his arms.

Victoria hums in amusement and nods in agreement with Epel's words, making Neige and Evonie chuckle a bit.

"Epel has a point father. I promise to not associate myself with that family so as to not upset you." Victoria vowed, sending her parents an affectionate but arguably intimidating smile.

A bead of sweat fell down Evonie's face. Sure seems like uncle Florian and aunt Vivian are protective of their children when it comes to the Draconia family…

Having arrived at their personal suites, Vil clapped in order to catch the attention of his family members.

"Unless there aren't enough rooms for all of us individually, we will be sleeping separately. If there is a case in which the rooms are limitedly numbered, you can share a room with any of us since there are usually two beds in a single suite anyway." enunciated Vil.

His siblings, Neige, and Evonie nod in agreement and in sync.

Thankfully for the family, there were a good number of rooms. Meaning they didn't need to share a bedroom.

Conveniently enough, Evonie's suite was somewhat close to the area she was standing in.

She smiled as she walked to her room, marveling in all of the spectacular decorations surrounding the palace halls. It felt almost intimidating to her that there was so much gold.

Unaware that someone was in front of her, Evonie ended up bumping into them. And to her surprise, the impact was strong enough for her lower body to hit the ground.

The Addams are a family of immense wealth…. But I don't know if we can top something like this

As well as make the person drop their books.

"I-I'm so sorry!" Evonie exclaimed, immediately picking up the many books in an almost frantic way.

The person chuckled as they placed a hand over her hand."It's fine. Accidents can happen no matter the circumstance." They stated, a gentle smile on their face.

Blonde hair… Blue eyes… I'm sure he's Prince Allen's brother. If I didn't know any better, I would've assumed he was Briar's brother. Evonie thought, remembering her golden haired friend from the slumbering willows.

After a moment of silence, they extended their hand. Knowing that they were trying to help her up, Evonie cautiously took their hand.

"I apologize for bumping into you…" she repeated, feeling anxious.

They smiled slightly brighter."It's nothing to fret, it was accidental after all. In any case…" they trailed off, piquing Evonie's interest as she rose an eyebrow at them.

"My name is prince Erez, Allen's younger brother and the second prince of the kingdom of dawn." Erez greeted Evonie with a polite bow.

Evonie hummed as her awkward smile remained on her face."Evonie Apfel. It's a pleasure to meet you, your highness." She curtsied, perfectly maintaining her composure.

Erez chuckled yet again."I see. So you are the cousin of Lady Shard that I've been hearing about recently?" He asked as he tilted his head, curiosity seemingly filling his aura.

"Eh…. Yeah, actually." Evonie answered cautiously, scratching the back of her neck. In response, Erez grinned.

…. After a long moment of silence, Evonie sent Erez a nervous grin as she walked past him.

"Well uh… I gotta go to my room now. Can't exactly stand in this hallway forever, right?" Evonie said, attempting to crack a joke.

Unfortunately, she immediately regretted making that joke out of pure embarrassment-

Upon that realization, Erez turned red with embarrassment and laughed nervously."O-Oh! Right, I see…. I-I'll see you around, Lady Apfel!" He promised, making random hand gestures that made Evonie giggle.

"B-But before you go…"

"Hm?"

Before Evonie turned around to face Erez, waiting for his question to escape his lips.

He looked at her sinisterly."Don't trust Allen, behind that facade…. Lies a no-good little…" He mumbled the last parts of his sentence before sending Evonie a reassuring smile. A complete opposite to his words moments earlier.

Evonie gripped her suite's doorknob tightly before humming softly."O-Okay…" she murmured, before entering her suite.

Erez was in the palace library, calmly reading books without a care. He hummed softly as he picked up his next book, "To kill a mockingbird".

After reading a couple pages, he heard the library doors slam open as Allen marched into the room. Fury within his aura that it would've been enough to make Erez laugh.

"EREZ!" Allen shrieked,"WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT DID YOU SPEW TO OUR GUESTS?!" He grabbed him by the collar.

Erez gasped as his energy feigned "innocence" and "confusion".

"Oh my dearest brother… Whatever are you talking about? I simply do not know what you could possibly mean.." Erez held back his laughter as Allen's face increased in his fumes of anger.

"YOU ASSHAT, YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!" He yelled while his voice echoed throughout the large halls of the library.

Sending him a sweet little smile, Erez placed his pointer finger over his lips."Easy there brother, inside voices only." He mocked, whispering so quietly that Allen could barely hear his voice.

Grunting, Allen shoved Erez away from him as he crossed his arms.

"Whatever you're doing, it won't work. I am the eldest, therefore that makes me the heir." Allen proclaimed, looking down at his significantly shorter younger brother.

Erez rolled his eyes."You may be older, but you are no match for me in terms of popularity in high society. Now, you are beloved by the commoners and deemed 'relatable' for your rowdiness…" he continued.

"But remember brother…. The nobility is the class of mortality that actually matters."

Allen pursed his lips, unable to find any words for a response. As for Erez, he merely smirked as his blue eyes glowed with insanity..

"Besides… You and I both know that once you come of age, father will simply discard you to marry a foreign princess and make me ascend the throne."

"Just because he favors you over me does not mean jack shit, Erez."

Erez hummed softly, slamming his book shut."To you at least. You and I know damn well that mother and father simply act like they care for you so their social standing increases. After all, I'm simply playing a role. Just like you, like our mother… And like our father." He concluded, crossing his legs and looking up at his older brother.

"Face it, Allen… You're never going to get what you want. And what you want… Is love."

Allen couldn't think of a response, and merely sighed heavily."I don't have time for this…" he muttered before turning around to leave.

Before he did, he turned back to face his brother.

"You and I both know that I will be the one to win this chess game, brother."

Allen marched out of the library, slamming the doors so hard that it echoed throughout the library for a couple minutes.

Erez smiled sweetly as he continued his book."Oh my darling older brother…" he trailed off.

"... A pawn will always be brought down first."
