It actually pisses me off that vivziepop just threw the fact that alastor is black out onto the Internet and didn't even change his character to match at ALL. I mean she changed a bunch about other characters (replacing all the voice actors and changing the character designs) and couldn't even change his skin tone or facial features to go with her brand new cannon that she literally made up on the spot to avoid getting called out for using voodoo in his powers? Make it make sense, man.

As someone who just recently binged both seasons of heartstopper in a week I cannot believe I put it off for so long.

It is so refreshing to see healthy, happy and like all around positive representation of an incredibly broad spectrum of the LGBTQ+ community. Like we got the gays, the lesbians, the trans, the aroace and who knows what else will come in later seasons.

It is also a breath of fresh air with how intimate it is without people having sex twice an episode. I think we need more of this. I'm in my twenties and have not had my first kiss yet. (I probably won't get it either because as an aroace I feel happy without that experience.) It is nice to see teenagers as something other than these hypersexual people like most tv shows portray them.

It feels so authentic and fresh and it just became my happy place. I binged the 2nd season before work and I got such a boost of happiness.

Like I love my gritty moody shows too, where there is most of the time sex happening. I was excited for Only Friends even though that is the complete opposite of this show. But I also love Heartstopper for it's uniqueness and positivity in portraying our community. We have so many different stories and experience and all types of people, we should get to have this type of representation in media too.

All my love to the creator, Alice Osman. And the actors have my whole heart.

I love a starstruck odyssey it’s one of my absolute favourite seasons and I’ve rewatched it so much it just gets me that barry has the clones, sidney has auma liu and professor edwina castor, gunnie has dora valentine and even captain dan scrap, margaret has lucienne, norman/skip has technically both prilbus and gust weatherall, but riva doesn’t have any backstory npcs/antagonists at all…

I might have mentioned this before, but I'm just gonna keep saying it-

Eliot's relaxed/innocent expression is perhaps my all time favorite look on him. Especially when he's around the team.

And I think it's because he finally realizes that he doesn't have to wear a mask with these people. He doesn't need to be a gruff/meanie 24/7/365. All Eliot needs to be is himself and I think that's why Parker and Hardison love teasing and harassing him. They want him to feel safe enough to show the real Eliot Spencer.

Parker and Hardison already know they are safe with him. They want Eliot to know he is safe with them. (And by what? Season 2? Season 3?) He does. And I think that's why it's a major shame they cut it at Season 5 of the original.
