Hi, nonnie! I don't actually have any OC's outside of minor background characters, so I'll share 3 random facts regarding my reader inserts. ❤️

- Sparrow from my Soldat and Sparrow AU loves to knit. If she gets free of HYDRA, the first thing she'd make is a warm blanket.

- Our Princess from Cordially Invited has specific comfort snacks for when she's angry, sad, or stressed: ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, and chips. Our Knight can tell which mood she's in by what she's eating.

- Lumbersnack's writer and partner-in-crime has a fondness for dogs and would love to get one for Steve. Lucky for her, Steve is already in the process of getting a dog for their home.

Main Takeaway 🏹: A perfect book 2 to the series

Synopsis 📜: Killian is back in Cedar Harbor after three years but his past has followed him there in the form of a wolf hunter who wants to kill them all. Because he has returned, he is forced to face his past and his mental illness, neither of which he wants to do but he can’t seem to resist his wife and everything they went through.

Personal Thoughts 🤔: This book was 10000% worth the wait after Escaping Expectations changed the chemistry of my brain last year. Declan is a sexy lumbersnack but Killian is a sinful bounty hunter whose inner monologue and mental illness hit a little too close to home for me. I never expected to relate to a wolf shifting bounty hunter but here we are. Genevieve lived up to her personality from EE as well. I love her relationship with Nolan and Raven but learning about her life with Killian made her even more likable. She has been through more pain at the hands of her parents and religion than anyone should ever have to deal with and she is still a bright light throughout the book.

This world A. Winchester is building is absolutely becoming an obsession for me and I’m eternally grateful to have been here from the beginning and to be a part of her team for as long as she’ll have me!

My Review: 4/5 Stars

Griff and his very soon to be official ex-wife, Poppy, have been waiting patiently for their son to go to college before moving on with their lives. It's been over a year since their marriage has been over, now they just have to tell their son. Which they plan to do the first moment he comes back from college on fall break. For now, Griff and Poppy will sort out their ownership on the the resort they built and own, and restart their lives separately. Including their dating lives. Griff is ready to get back out there and explore his bisexuality for the first time. And there is no better wingman than his best friend, Heath. Heath knows how to push Griff and get him out of his comfort zone so he doesn't hold himself back. But as changes begin to happen, their feelings for one another begin to change as well. For the first time they are truly taking a look at one another beyond best friends and realizing that there may be something else there than neither ever had a chance to explore. It's complicated and messy and probably a bad idea, but when they realize that ignoring the attraction and the change means losing one another? Neither would ever take that chance. Not when they both know that becoming something more than friends could be the thing they were always meant to be. It was fun reading their story after having read Griff's son, Felix's story first. I got to go back and see how his dad and "uncle" got together in the first place. Their story is a sweet best friends to lover. Looking forward to the next one in this series!

So, can we talk about Bruno???

Lol, so this is actually Bruno Drake, main protagonist of the "Bruno Dracula & the Spooky Bunch" series I'm developing. Except, I'm sort of stuck between these two versions of him! Personality description: a grungy hellbilly from nowhere backwoods Arkansas, Bruno has a rough and tough exterior but a gooey soft center that comes to the forefront when protecting or caring for those he loves. He may be a short guy, but he's extremely strong and resilient. He also serves as a mentor and father figure to the younger three members of the team. He is 40 years old but due to his vampirically altered DNA, ages at a slower rate than regular humans.
