The Auditor was quick to take notice of the sudden change in your attitude and behavior. Regardless of how much you tried to play it off that you were okay, you were getting hot flashes on the regular, much more so than would occur normally. You were also suffering periodically from small feverish episodes here and there, which worried the Auditor to an uncomfortable extent.

So, to settle his nerves more than anything, he takes you to get you checked out by the local medical staff in the AAHW HQ where he is currently stationed. Then, much to his great joy and surprise, the news is given to you both that you were pregnant with the Auditor’s youngling.

The moment you both are alone again to soak in the news, his flames dance about in a happy way as he holds his player close to his body. He trills at his player in a positive manner as he couldn’t have been happier at that moment in time.

He never even thought that your races would even be able to produce offspring, let alone make a crossbreed. Especially since you were from a higher plane of power, but maybe there was a universal exception that allowed for higher gods to breed with lesser gods like him? Regardless, after months of secretly trying to make the player carry a successful child, his efforts have been realized and the fruits of his labor are starting to come into reality.

The SQ’s worst nightmare.

An employer with powers of the higher gods would be born and they would successfully snuff out any remaining resistance in Nevada and finally deal with that bothersome grunt, Hank J. Wimbleton. The Auditor merely holds his player close as his body surrounds theirs in a protective way. A silent promise to protect his player and unborn young from all that threatened them.

During the first trimester, the Auditor is in a surprisingly good mood most of the time. He reserves his happiest expressions for when he’s with his player and soon-to-be-born child as he works just like he did before. But that doesn’t mean he’s distant or estranged from his player. He’s already gaining a protective streak as his player is assigned 2 MAG agents to accompany them at all times, with prime directives to make sure that his player doesn’t come to harm and is without protection.

This doesn’t just extend to protective MAG agents, though. As the moment the Auditor suspects that Hank is around, he moves locations, taking his player with him.

He would sooner die than let Hank get anywhere close to his player, he wouldn’t allow it. He’s fully aware that Hank and the others are your ‘other vessels’, but you don't need them anymore. You chose him above all else and as a fellow god, it was a logical decision to stay with him and the other employers. You don’t have to deal with mortal scum like the members of SQ anymore. Especially now that you were carrying a new employer.

So, the Auditor decides to begin construction on a new place for you all to call your own. A ‘home’ in fact. So, he gets to work with the location of the new abode. He thought about making it in hell or his hell or even the other place…but those places might not be too comfortable for you or his developing child, so they’re scrapped completely. Then, he decides to build a new base in a hard-to-reach area.

Scoping out the potential places in Nevada, he finds the large cliffs in a particular location to be the perfect nesting site for him and his player. So, the site is picked and construction begins immediately. The AAHW is hard at work on making the new base and the Auditor begins to draw up the plans for the base to be built by. His imagination goes wild as his clawed shadowy hand draws out the rooms and the multiple levels of what the base would have.

No…this wouldn’t be a base. This would be his precious player’s home. Taking inspiration from the other world, he designs the ‘base’ with a much more…human-home look. Similar to the way he saw your room in the other world and what it looked like. Painted walls…carpeted floors…wall decor…and anything else he could think of that would make the base look more like a human abode. Something you would be happier living in.

By the time your midterm stages rolled around, the base was completed and the Auditor showed you what it looked like with a strong sense of pride. Less to say that you loved it from the way your eyes sparkled and lit up when you took in the much more colorful walls, carpeted floors, and similar patterns that you had in your home dimension. The Auditor also receives a deep and long-lasting kiss where his lips would be as he leans into it and soaks up your affection like a sponge.

The Auditor keeps his promise of making sure you were comfortable by providing furnishings and homestead decorations. Like a large bed for you both to sleep in together, a closet for your clothes, a luxurious bath for you to clean yourself in, a clean kitchen, a large living area, various floors for the place to actually ‘count’ as a base and finally the youngling’s room.

The child’s room was decorated with a shadowy and crimson crib, a changing station, a bookshelf, a play area, and even a little entertainment center in the corner. It had a toned-down regal vibe to it, but it was clear that the Auditor has a specific taste for decor. As most of the items in the home have either a black, red, or rich type of look to it. You could only be happy that you wouldn’t have to live amongst concrete and gray lifeless walls. Especially if you could live in a ‘base’ that looked just like the home you used to have.

Now that the homestead issue was resolved, the Auditor focused on your well being much more as your pregnancy carried on. With regular checkups with the medical staff every 2 weeks being a must. Nothing can go wrong with his little godling, he wouldn’t allow the room for error to develop if he could help it. He also had to make sure that you had an appropriate diet and were well-fed enough to care for you and the child both. That didn’t stop your cravings from throwing him through a loop from time to time, however.

I mean, really? You REALLY want to eat a sandwich with THAT much spiced meat and vinegar on it and top it off with marshmallows and pickled ONIONS of all things? Sure thing player. Anything for you. Whatever you desire, he’ll do. No questions asked.

It was not only the food issue he had to deal with, he also had to make sure that you didn’t overheat during one of your intense hot flashes. He’s had to set you down in a tub with lukewarm water just to help you cool down from some of the sudden hot flashes you would experience. The medical staff merely assumed it was because of the Auditor’s fire-like genes that might be affecting the pregnancy by making the player’s body temperature spike in response to the developing employer inside of them. The Auditor takes their assumption…for now.

By the time your due date begins to arrive, the Auditor is a STRESSED MESS. He’s balancing his employer duties, the AAHW, and becoming a new father on top of it all. To make things worse, the other employers are becoming eager to meet his little one, to which he would snap at them that the child wasn’t even born yet and they were already circling his family like vultures. It was needlessly bothersome to him and he didn’t like it one bit.

But the moment he comes to the base to see you, the woes of all his responsibilities melt away as you embrace him lovingly. Giving him kisses and light massages to help him cope with his stressful duties. He appreciates the affectionate gestures and purrs in response to your kneading hands that sink into his shadowy form to try and pull and push the pain away from his body.

Even during Nevada’s night cycle, you two cuddle in bed with one another. His fiery body provides your more human-one with warmth and comfort as you snuggle into his chest as he holds you close. Once more wrapping his shadowy form around your body in a protective manner, just as he has done every night since you became the carrier of his child. Feeling his lover so close, as well as the subtle warmth that radiated from within your belly, made the Auditor relax as he drifted into a deep and comfortable sleep fit for the higher gods.

Then, the big day arrives.

The Auditor was at his desk when his email began to ping like crazy. The moment he opened his email and read that it was from the medical staff that was stationed at the base his player was stationed at, the Auditor tossed everything aside and abandoned his post without question. His shadowy form slips into the floor in a heartbeat as he races back to the base to reunite with his player.

The moment he finishes emerging from the floor in the hospital wing of the base, he becomes aware of his player laid out on a gurney, taking deep breaths as they were in the beginning stages of labor. The Auditor hurries to their side as the medical staff rush around the room to collect what would be needed to deliver he new employer into the world of Nevada.

The Auditor is there every moment of the delivery process, even enduring your bone-crushing grip as you screech and pant in an effort to deliver his child. Then, the room is illuminated by a new glowing light as the medical staff finish the delivery. The Auditor watches as the staff shares a brief glance with one another, then they wrap up the new arrival in a black blanket. The auditor feels your grip weaken as you release his hand from your vice grip, as you relax that the process is finally over, allowing him to move close to the staff members who hold out the little bundle to him.

He takes it and hisses at the rest of the grunts to leave and the lot don’t need to be told twice, they all flee the room, leaving just the Auditor and his player with their new arrival. The auditor looks down at the black blanket in anticipation before finally pulling the cover away, revealing the child underneath.

Instead of having a typical coloration of an employer, the child was a striking bright glowing white with the player’s iridescent colors mixed into their flames and form. The Auditor was surprised with the coloration as he held the child close to his chest in awe. They were so beautiful…so otherworldly stunning…like a glowing nova. The Auditor feels pride bubble up inside of his chest as he nuzzles their cheek and speaks to them with a trill from deep within his throat, stirring the little one from their slumber.

Unlike his form, the baby employer was gifted with both eyes and a mouth. To which they yawn and he noticed it also changed colors just like their flames. Then their colorful eyes opened to take a look at their father. A curious gaze greets him as he chirps at the little one, getting a soft squeaky trill in return. He nuzzles them again, enticing another small purr out of his infant as the Auditor looks over to his player. Seeing them watching him greet his offspring with a smile on their face. He wastes no time in walking over and giving your lips a loving kiss as he shows you the young one.

“Look…a little flame that will one day grow into a powerful ruler…” He says, his voice laced with adoration as he strokes the child lovingly as his player nods in agreement.

He gives his player another deep kiss.

“Good work, my dearest player.” He purrs in praise as you let out a soft laugh in response to his affectionate actions.

Then, the doors to the medbay suddenly swing open, startling you both nearly out of your skins. You both look over to the entrance, revealing that the other employers had decided to come visit.

“Hey Audi!! We have come to see the baby!!” They all say in unison.

“GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY BASE!!” The Auditor yells at the lot. As a parent, Audi has to stay with his work and projects most of the time. Which makes him a bit distant, despite it being primarily unwilling. But he’s a stern father who tries to make their child view themselves above everyone else, I mean...they’re a literal god-child, no demi-god blood to be found in them. However, you don’t want a little supremacist for a child, so you make sure to re-temper the child and keep their mind open to other things and people of various backgrounds, not just the other employers or themselves. One way to make sure that Audi doesn’t corrupt them with his arrogant ideals is by letting them play with the agents and MAGS that guard their home. Torture is a favorite to the child, as they seek him out whenever they know he’s visiting and Torture is a loyal guardian to the little one as they hang out with one another. The player can only look on as their little child makes friends with ‘lesser beings’ and broadens their understanding of their world. You even tell them of your home world and that you desired to take them to visit it one day. You and Audi may not see eye-to-eye on a lot of things that regard raising the young employer, but at the end of the day, you all snuggle together and just relax in your shared embrace with your little one nestled in between you two. Audi is a regretfully distant parent, but loves his child and player very much.

Either with Sheriff or Mag Agent Torture! Mostly Sheriff because he's so beautiful to me. (Also thank youuuu)

In most of the writing I make, Arson gets employed by MERC and it goes from there, but I've made different aus and stuff where it's different lol.

I feel like they would have matching necklaces or something instead of rings, mostly because I project my hate of wearing rings for too long onto Arson.

Arson would get him little trinkets for his office and Sheriff would get him pocket knives or other shiny stuff like that, and honestly I think Sheriff would get more than one Garfield plush (inside joke don't ask)

For anniversaries? No clue. I hadn't actually thought of that before you asked!

a swap au for madness combat i've had for a while, maybe would like to expand it too ^^ it's pretty long so look after the cut for all the character stuff (real nice tumblr automatically does all the formatting from me copy pasting a text file, never even knew it did that...)

Swap AU: AAHW and S.Q. Swap

Takes place after the Fall of Nexus, where previously everything was exactly the same (S.Q. working to look for the mandatus, Jeb caused fall of Nexus, etc etc. you get the gist) Personalities overall stay the same, changes will be noted

S.Q.

Conglomerate with the sole goal of taking over the Machine for sole power of the world. Employees are Fellows instead of Agents.

Leader: 2bdamned Vigilant and rarely-seen shadow leader of S.Q, workaholic. A bit too obsessed with the Machine and it's workings, and spends almost any time trying to either take more control over Nevada or the Machine. It's believed that he takes the bodies of his dead Fellows to use for experiments, but it's all rumors anyway…

Manager & Bodyguard: Hank J Wimbleton While his official role is the Leader of S.Q. he actually acts more as a spokesperson for 2bdamned (he's kind of shitty at it though), also does tasks on behalf of or directly for 2bdamned. Spends a lot of time with 2bdamned. Seems very loyal, but would switch sides at a moment's notice if S.Q. proved to hold him back even the slightest. However, it'll be difficult to sway him to your cause considering how well S.Q. is treating him…

Behavioral & Intelligence: Deimos One of the many division managers in S.Q. VERY good at his job as Intelligence division manager, high class hacker who can get information from anyone about anything. His charm and technological skill is usually key to wringing out information from others, but if that doesn't work he'll hand them off to Sanford for some "advanced methods." His Behavioral Discipline is extremely biased, as he'll shun anyone for anything he can confiscate… to take for his own personal use. No drugs, no smoking, no alcohol, no raunchy mags, no rock music, etc etc… Unless it's for him, of course. Often seen indulging in (usually multiple) of the banned items in front of the Fellows as well.

Training & Weapons: Sanford Known for his extremely detailed knowledge on weaponry and dangerous materials, Sanford is able to build and supply any sort of ammunition towards threats, or usually for his own personal training methods. Unfortunately, he's also known for his extreme cruelty towards his own Fellows. Warmup exercises are brutal, and the training itself goes much beyond torture. Sanford's kind demeanor only scares the others MORE as they'll be forced to do horrendous things under such a warm facade.

AAHW

Created to stop the elusive Hank J Wimbleton, has now become a shell of its former self trying to stop the entirety of S.Q.

Leader: Auditor Disgraced Employer, disowned by the other Employers after his irresponsibility and failure in his role. Was approached by Jeb & Sheriff looking for an organization to ally with, however was employed under complete control of the Auditor instead since the others had no other options. Very determined to find their place back at the top of Nevada's food chain, extremely sour and jealous of S.Q.

Manager: Sheriff Is what got Auditor so many willing recruits in the first place, Auditor doesn't like him very much but has to be thankful for his management and recruitment skills. On top of managing for AAHW, is also managing MERC and is why the AAHW has access to so many resources. Auditor has tried to take over MERC a few times, but the only reason he hasn't is because Sheriff has officially resigned the role over to the foremans to keep its independance from other organizations.

Bodyguard: Jebediah Christoff With nowhere left to go, he takes to the AAHW with Sheriff to hopefully find somewhere to stay while he concocts something to reinstate Nexus to keep the "Two Soda Cans" problem under control and create a successful Nevadean society. He has to keep it under wraps from the Auditor lest he uses it for nefarious reasons, but lets Sheriff in on it in hopes he can help. Bound to a contract with the Auditor, forced to work there until he's "unnecessary." Bodyguard for Sheriff and does lots of other dirty work.

???: Tricky Came alongside Jeb and Sheriff but… He didn't exactly take well to any of Auditor's conditions. Is kept at the AAHW on the basis that they're too dangerous to be left alone, and doesn't do anything the Auditor asks if it's not "fun." Wild card in the broadest sense possible, holds no loyalty to anyone.

Hot Wheels: BF5: Netflix Anime AU Fanfic

Yeah I'm gonna try this. Basically, if I were to make BF5 into a Netflix Anime AU/Reboot of itself, like I posted about before. Lots of little dumb ideas.

Dunno if anything will come of it but here are my thoughts:

Morally grey Sage from get-go. She genuinely advocates for killing the Vandals, Zemerik, and Zug if they can because it's the fastest way to end the war and protect Earth and the Sentients. She remembers the reds but never says anything about them and doesn't remember how they'd be awoken anyway.

Genderqueer Stanford + Trans Spinner. I love. Trans rep.

Vert/Zoom, because I will go fucking down with this ship

Tezz/AJ, because grumpy/sunshine is the best trope and you cannot stop me

and Sherman/Agura/Stanford because polyamory is great and if you watch Cold as Ice and Mag Wheels and Blue Tide back to back you will understand why I ship it.

Grace becomes a secret keeper in season one. The gang are shitty liars and people are only so dumb. She puts together that something is going on and tells Vert to either explain it, or she's going to Johnson with her theory of "it's a fucking cult". So he shows her the basement. She gets a watch but no vehicle (until late season 2/early season 3)

Zoom ends up in a pretty entertaining situation where Sheriff Johnson likes him and no one else on the team because Zoom grew up in a monastery, and when he tells Johnson, that reminds Johnson of all the samurai and samurai-cowboy movies he loves and he gets really curious about Zoom's skills and wants to get him a cowboy hat

Krytus and the reds stay scary way longer. Like, skin of their teeth, Sage even post-fuser is scrambling for more weapons, scary.

Everybody's a little neurodivergent~ As a treat~

Spinner and Zemerik boink at one point. There's a long running consequence of that being that Zemerik goes easy on the Buster in battle zones and helps them out a lot more willingly against fellow enemies. Their eventual friendship as a result of the kidnapping and boinking is what leads Zemerik to aligning himself fully with Sage

Everybody's a little bit horny~ As a treat~ And Vert and Stanford definitely roll into bed together a few times because. They're horny dudes with no standards. And they share a bedroom wall. Easy math.

WORLDBUILDING AND LORE AND HISTORY AND LORE and the actual explanation for Stanford's ancestry, Sherman's super strength, the Blue Flame, the Crimson One, and so much more. Also a fuckton of Sentient war history.

How did Tezz survive? And shouldn't he have needed to recover? Yes to both.

War. Criminal. Sage. The gang actually has to grapple with the fact that they're actively taking orders from a war criminal and whether or not Sage was justified in what she did and if she had any other option

There's gonna be a whole arc centered on Agura's hunting ability and its importance to the team's survival in dangerous situations

Zoom almost accidentally becomes Vandal Warlord because he almost kills Kalus when he's trying to save Vert's life. Kalus becomes very invested in Zoom after this.

Which is all to say that by the end of season one, Zemerik is more interested in the brothers than Vert and Kalus is more interested in Zoom than Vert, and Vert makes a joke that he's feeling a little neglected and wishes he had the spotlight again... about an hour before we meet Krytus. Who is fucking obsessed with Vert.

Kalus has a husband. He's a black panther named Xunsu.

Zeke also has a husband. And is Jewish.

The slow spiral of grey morality, battle zone exhaustion, and fear that the war is never going to end

Oh, in season one they are in a battle zone where they encounter one of the red cryo pods but when they describe it to Sage she tells them it's nothing to worry about. Needless to say, when it gets cracked open and fucking Kyburi walks out of it in season two, they're a little P.O.'d with Sage.

Sie wurde auch als die Fitnesstrainerin vorgestellt, um bei den Mitarbeitern wieder Saft und Kraft in den Körper zu posten. „Schlaffe Säcke...“, so Mikes Chef. „bringen nichts. Also werden sie unter fachkundiger Anleitung von Tanja, wieder fit gemacht.“

Hin und wieder waren sie auch miteinander ausgegangen.

Und jetzt diese Einladung von Ihr, bei sich zu Hause Film gucken, sagte sie. Aber nicht irgendeinen Film, sondern DER Western: "Petroleum Miezen" ein Italo Western von 1971, mit heißen Frauen wie Brigitte Bardot und Claudia Cardinale.

„Ich mag...“ sagte sie. „Frauen wie diese, die wissen was sie wollen. Und wir haben Karneval… deshalb Mike, wirst du in diesen Sachen...“ Damit überreichte sie ihm eine Tasche. „bei mir erscheinen.“

Seine Spannung stieg, er war neugierig was ihn erwartete. Western bei Tanja, das klang vielversprechend. Bilder zogen an ihm vorbei, mit wilden ungebändigten Cowgirls, in ihren karierten Hemden, den eng sitzenden Jeans, den Lederstiefel. Wow. Die Bilder gefielen ihm.

Er packte aus, neugierig was sie ihm in die Tasche gesteckt hatte, und nach einer heißen Dusche zog er sich um.

Boxershorts, Socken, Jeans, kariertes Hemd, Lederweste, daran der Sheriffstern, Cowboystiefel mit Sporen, den Gürtel mit dem Colt, Handschellen, die in der rechten Hosentasche steckten. Und, was gar nicht fehlen durfte, war der Stetson, der Cowboyhut.

Breitbeinig stellte er sich vor seinen mannshohen Spiegel im Flur. „Jetzt noch ne Marlboro...“, grinste er. „und einen drei Tage Bart.“ Zu dumm, das er sich heute morgen erst rasiert hatte.

Als Tanja die Tür öffnete, war er ein wenig enttäuscht. Sie empfing ihn in einer Art Kartoffelsack. Die Verkleidung sollte wohl eine Squaw darstellen.

„Komm lass es uns gemütlich machen.“ Sie wies auf ihre riesige Couch hin. „Platz genug dürfte da sein“, lächelte sie. Mike nickte und schaute sich um. Mitten im Raum eine Stange… in einer anderen Ecke ein paar Strohballen und ein paar roh zusammen gezimmerte Bretter.

„Tja, ich mag es stimmungsvoll“, sagte sie, als sie seinem Blick folgte.

Stimmungsvoll klang gut. Mike hatte an dem einem Balken das Lasso gesehen, eine alte Stalllaterne spendete Licht. Aber dieser Kartoffelsack den sie trug…

Nicht dran denken, dachte er nur… ich will jetzt einfach nur mit ihr diesen alten Film schauen, ohne viel Action- Schnick- Schnack.

Es gab schon ein paar Szenen, die Mike ansprachen, ihn aber auch nicht wirklich antörnten. Dazu war die Verkleidung von Tanja nicht erotisch genug.

Nach der Szene mit dem Busenblitzer musste Tanja kurz auf Toilette.

Sie kam wieder als Frenchie King. Mann, sah sie geil aus in dem Schwarz. Sie hatte sich maskiert und er schaute in ihre Augen. Sie passte verdammt gut in den Dress mit ihren runden Formen. Das Hemd spannte ein wenig, was seinen Schwanz in der engen Jeans ebenfalls zum spannen brachte.

„Hallo Sheriff. Wollen sie mich nicht verhaften?“

„Aber ja doch. Natürlich“, stammelte er.

Jetzt machte alles Sinn und er musste nicht lange überlegen, sondern schob sie an die Pole – Dance -Stange in der Mitte des Zimmers. Die Handschellen aus der Hosentasche taten jetzt ein übriges, er fesselte sie an die Stange.

Nun begann er langsam, sie mit dem Lasso zu fesseln. Er begann, in dem er ihre Stiefel zusammenband und sie von unten nach oben, umwickelte.

Wow. Sie sah so heiß aus, als sie ihn immer noch maskiert anschaute. Er nahm ihr das Halstuch ab. Dabei berührte er sie mit seinem Becken. Seine Jeans spannte, oh mein Gott, sein Schwanz war so prall, so hart.

Sie hauchte: „Oh, Sheriff, haben sie etwa noch einen Colt versteckt. Darf ich den einmal sehen und anfassen?“

Sie atmete schwer, ihre Brust hob und senkte sich. Das machte Mike richtig an. Tanja als Frenchie King, das war so heiß, so verdammt heiß. Kein Vergleich mehr zu der Tanja als Kartoffelsack – Squaw.

Oh ja, das war ihre Art mit ihm zu spielen. Erst törnte sie ihn bewusst ab, um ihn dann umso mehr zu fordern.

Mike zog sich aus. Anschließend löste er ihre Fesseln und die Handschellen.

Sie stemmte die Hände in die Hüften, stand aufreizend vor ihm.

I have a question. In your AU. How does the episodes of Madness Combat go since Sherrif is on Hank's side?

Ah, this. Well be prepared to be bombed by a lot of headcannons.

- It was after madness combat 3, Sheriff and Hank both met in purgatory. Of course since sheriff face was shot off, he couldn't tell who was near him at first. He asked for help and if they could be his eyes to guide him back to safety. Hank didn't know why but, he started to help him, lightly guiding him along by hand. Both of them were eventually trapped inside a room with no door's, and they could only do one thing, talk. As the convo moved to childhood memories, Hank felt something as he remembered the past when they were both friends, something sparked in him to help him escape with him. The memories of them both playing games, giving giftsbto each other, even rescuing him from drowning once and almost lost him.. This was the first time he felt the heavy price of guilt. And he hated it very much.

- When he revealed who he was to Sheriff, things went quiet for a moment. The Sheriff then started to silently sob and shake as he whispered apology after apology to Hank, he explained he felt like an idiot for activating the drive out of fear Instead of being rational, and now the world was being sent into hell because of him. Hank was quiet, but could only think of one thing to do, hug. He hugged Sheriff tightly to him, as he clung on and sobbed quietly on his shoulder. 2B would eventually find them later on via chains that would make a path to their escape.

- After they both escaped purgatory, Doc had a long chat with the Sheriff, his importance to Nevada's law and order was going to play a big role for them. After hours of negotiation, the deal was sealed, if Sheriff helped them gather info of what the A.A.H.W was planning, he would provide medical service and money to the people of Nexus City for their survival.

- As of now, the Sheriff works as a double agent, if he finds any useful/important info about the A.A.H.W, he will use a fake alias account to text 2BDamned about it as soon as he can. Whenever Hank and him end up meeting in person, they have to act like they hate each other. But in private, they'd both hang out and do things friends would do, just like in the old days. It was just yet another secret soft side Hank showed aside from the talks he had with doc during surgeries.

- Hank and Sheriff developed feelings for each other, but wouldn't act upon it in public in fear that the Auditor or other people associated with the A.A.H.W were watching. It was after having a talk with Doc about love and relationships, Hank confessed to Sheriff in private one day during one of their horror movie night binges.

- Ever since then, Hank and Sheriff are in a secret relationship they have to keep desperately hidden from the public eye. Even after having Tucker made in the cloning machine, Sheriff has to act like he's just a single dad. He also ensures that Tucker isn't around whenever he has to take trips to see the Auditor or the other Employers.

- Before missions, Sheriff would give Hank a map of secret entrances in certain bases to make it easier to sneak inside. Where guards were usually put and what times they patrolled around. He'd also warn if there were any dangerous foes such as heavy weapons, or Mag agent transfers.

- Overall Sheriff plays a big hand in helping the dissenters out on missions. He's even gained some trust with Sanford and Deimos, and eventually 2B would grow comfortable with his presence whenever he visited their base.

Absolutely more. Last year I'd decided to focus on original stories and only ever treat myself to writing fic if it was short. But then Sterek ate my brain and that all changed.

Canon-flavored college AU in which Stiles is a little bit older, Derek's a little bit wiser, and Erica and Boyd still manage to get kidnapped by the Alpha Pack.

What’s Your Own Favorite Story Of The Year?

Phantom (Teen Wolf/Sterek | 13k | E | Complete).

Halfway through his interaction with Stiles, Derek realized his head was throbbing and he was clenching his jaw so tightly his teeth ached. His fangs threatened to drop, and he was still struggling for control after Stiles had disappeared into the sheriff’s office.

Derek didn’t stop struggling even after Stiles walked past his desk ten minutes later, saluted, and left the building. Not until long after his scent had faded.

In which Stiles unknowingly triggers a phantom alpha heat in Derek and then offers to help him through it. Against Derek’s better judgment, he accepts.

As proud as I am to have completed El Lazo, which pushed my writing and editing boundaries and me grow (thanks again betas, u rock), Phantom was a challenge but in a far more fun way. I've never written heat fic before, and while I'm excited to write more A/B/O Sterek fic in (near) future, the concept of this phantom alpha heat existing in a canon divergent world excited me a lot. And I got to have Derek be really tight with both the sheriff and Melissa so all my dreams came true.

Do You Have Any Fanfic Or Profic Goals For The New Year?

Yeah! I've got Sterek fics I want to finish, and I'd like to complete a draft of the original novel I'm working on now. I have some other goals floating around like editing/self-publishing a romance novel I've had completed for a while and finding a home for some original short fiction I've written as well.

Did You Take Any Writing Risks This Year?

For sure! From an original writing standpoint, I entered more prompt contests than I normally do to push my limits and potentially write in genres that I am NOT COMFY writing. The contests are all run by the same organization, but they do it for different lengths of fiction. You get a specific prompt, compete against other people in your prompt to progress to the next round until a group of people make it to the final prompt and winner is declared.

Story Of Mine Most Under-Appreciated By The Universe, In My Opinion:

In 2021 I don't feel like I have any really, at least not with fics because coming into a fandom so late where there's already a ridiculous amount of delicious content I feel grateful to find any audience at all. For original I'm still really hoping to find one of my very favorite pieces of flash fiction a happy home, I'm like 'hey! someone out there running one of these mags! I'm a nobody but i hope you are touched by this!'

Most Fun Story To Write:

Again, Phantom (see above)!

Most Unintentionally Telling Story

I have absolutely no idea about this one. I think every piece a writer writes must have something telling in there about them, so none are standing out more than others.

Biggest Disappointment:

Realizing that the first 25k draft of my novel just was not what I wanted it to be at all. The conventional advice is to push through to the very end and use everything you learned on the second draft, and it's good advice, I've done that advice before, but in this case...I think I need to take what I've written already & my outline and try something else.

Biggest Surprise:

So for those prompt contests I mentioned above, this past month was the first time I came first place in one of the rounds within my group, and the genre was sci-fi so I was like lmao this is gonna be bad probz. But the risk paid off and it was an awesome surprise!

The other big surprise is that Sterek has made me love reading and writing things I had never been all that interested in exploring before, and I'm having a blast.

My Favorite Part Of The Fandom This Year

I have met and am continuing to meet lovely, lovely people! It really hit me this year how the most satisfaction I ever get from fandom/life is from finding kind, open-minded, passionate fellow fans and having that sense of community in a way that feels true to myself.

Without @snarkatthemoon letting me beta her big bang fic and motivating me to write daily I don't think I would have had as much fun writing this year. I love writing, but again I think for me having that community vibe just makes it even more special whether it's fic or original work.

god im so glad you asked, ive been holding back the floodgates till somebody was interested

some minor spoilers if you haven't played project nexus 1 & 2

this is a big info dump so consider this a warning.

Im gonna separate the story into bullet points connected to each character.

Hank: Bandit/outlaw/bounty hunter. Standard stuff, killin, robbing and going after folks in auditors/phobos' gang. Its not hard to assume what hanks up to.

2bdamned: Doctor/gambler. Nobody knows if hes ever actually been to medical school but hes real good at his job so it doesn't matter to the crew. in the 1800's it was crazy common to die from infection so if your patients survived a lot the town would assume that it was 'the devils work' and that the doctor worshiped dark forces. so even though 2b had the common sense to disinfect his tools people stood clear of him. he used this fear to his advantage and likes to gamble in town, using the cash for medical supplies. hes real worried audi has gotten his hands on something dangerous.

Deimos: cowboy/outlaw. Hes an irish immigrant, he hated the city-life so he left to explore the developing west as a cowhand. He meets sanford as they're both working on herding cattle, the two of them quit to become outlaws/bounty hunters with hank. probably met in some sort of stick-up hank tried to pull on them.

Sanford: Cowboy/outlaw. (people usually estimate that 1/4 cowboys were black, but that isnt true. The men who owned the ranches would send their workers out to hide in the forest while the census was being taken to avoid taxes, so they were probably the majority. i really recommend looking it up so i dont make this post a mile long) Anyways, ford mainly worked as a cowhand/horse wrangler most of his life till he met deimos. both of them knew that they'd be unstoppable together as bounty hunters, leading them to join up with hank and 2b. (I can do some deimos/sanford hcs in another post if anyone wants it)

Auditor: business man/gambler. being made up of fire (or whatever hes made up with) isn't going to go unnoticed in the god-fearing west. so Audi stays up in his riverboat holding gambling events with people he can show himself around. He uses his wealth to buy property and expand his control, using Hoffnar as a sort of puppet to carry out his in-person transactions. People dont really even know audi exists. But he isn't just interested in gathering land, hes been collecting doctors and experimenting on people to figure out how to bring the dead back to life. (this part of the story is a bit loose, i haven't figured everything out yet)

Hoffnar/tricky: Doctor/business man. Sweet,tired Hoffnar, stuck under Auditor's thumb and forced to manage several towns of his growing estate. Townsfolk don't like him much, as most working class people tend to hate those who own everyone's property. Hes good friends with Jeb and sheriff, tending to stick around them and treat their injuries. Hes also very close to audi's resurrection project, giving a version of it to jeb before he defects(unknowingly infecting himself with it). He is blamed for Jeb's defection and is taken out to the middle of the desert where phobos kills him. but he lives on , succumbing into a feral zombie state, digging up graves and killing anyone who go out into the hills; spreading the infection.

Sheriff: Lawman. ive talked before a bit about how sheriff came down from the city with dreams of conquering the west. obviously this didn't pan out, but his charisma and likability showed to be an asset to auditor, who hired him to be the sheriff of his developing towns and keep the townsfolk compliant and quiet. in an attack to get a hold of auditor's recipe for resurrection, hank shoots sheriff in the head, killing him. but auditor decides to resurrect him, wanting to avoid losing control of the town in the aftermath of hoffnar's death. Sheriff can't remember dying but he has dreams of his brief time in purgatory. Auditor tells sheriff that jeb and hoffnar died in the shootout.

Jeb: Lawman/bodyguard. I Imagine jeb is from the south-west, working as a Vaquero and holding a good amount of medical knowledge. but the times called for different skills, leading him to work for the auditor. Jeb was hired to keep sheriff safe, (he may be the sheriff but hes not very good at it) posing as the deputy and acting as a last resort if hank and the crew managed to get past phobos' gang. you may assume whatever you like in regards to their relationship but i am a big sheriff x jeb liker, so when sheriff gets taken down at the shoot-out, jeb defects and vows to hunt hank down. Before he leaves, hoffnar gives him a primitive version of the resurrection recipe. but as he distances himself from auditor (and taking notice to tricky's antics) he decides to pick the lesser of the two evils and join up with the crew. absolutely taken aback when he sees sheriff alive (and not a zombie) he works with 2b to figure out how to use the resurrection recipe/use it to fix the impending zombie virus

Phobos: Outlaw/bandit. leader of the gang that inhabits auditors territory( this is where you'll find the mag agents and nexus g03lms), keeping out rival outlaws and anybody too nosy for their own good. the town believes sheriff is protecting them from this gang. phobos only has one eye that he protects behind custom goggles (glasses were not very advanced yet, so this is just unfeasible. but if i can have a fire-demon, i can stretch this) He carries out auditors orders to kill hoffnar, shooting him in the face and slicing his stomach open so the animals would take care of the body. He hates working under Audi, forced to do all the real dirty work while sheriff and jeb sit pretty in town.
