I have a rather wholesome headcanon between Colonel and Iris.

Colonel allows Iris to practice her makeup skills on himself. Mainly eyeliner.

That's why his eyes look so "sharp".

Iris is actually afraid of doing eyeliner around her own eyes, so Colonel decided to help Iris get over her fear by letting her practice.

(What color are Colonel's eyes anyway? I believe they're green or brown.)

One day, during a brief moment of respite between battles, Iris approaches Colonel with a small makeup kit in hand, expressing her desire to practice applying eyeliner. Colonel, surprised but understanding, agrees to let Iris experiment with her newfound interest. Colonel, standing tall while Iris prepares, maintains his composed demeanor.

With utmost care and precision, Iris approaches Colonel, focusing intently on her task. She holds her breath as she begins applying the eyeliner, focusing on mirroring the technique she had previously observed after watching her human friend , Lilian, at work the other day.

As time passes, Colonel gradually relaxes, starting to appreciate the trust and vulnerability displayed by Iris. While his role as a warrior usually has him displaying a stern and serious face, this moment allows him to show a more human side, engaging in a personal connection within the midst of their battle against Mavericks.

Iris, motivated by her desire to succeed, concentrates entirely on the task at hand, making sure to apply the eyeliner symmetrically around Colonel's eyes. She appreciates Colonel's unwavering support, allowing her to overcome her fear while enjoying their bonding moment.

"How does it feel, brother?" Iris asks.
