Fake news e como está afetando a educação:

Estão circulado diversas notícias provadas falsas, em Ribeirão preto. Ao menos seis Boletins de Ocorrência foram registrados, somente nesta segunda-feira (10/04), por falsa ameaça de ataques terroristas em escolas diversas. Causando pavor nos alunos e em seus responsáveis.

As ocorrências foram feitas por diferentes instituições, com nomes preservados para evitar mais pânico da população.

De acordo com a Secretaria da Educação de Ribeirão Preto, já começou um reforço no que diz respeito à segurança nas escolas. parceria com a Guarda Civil Metropolitana, as rondas foram intensificadas desde segunda-feira.

Informou também que houve uma reunião com todos os gestores para alinhar as rotinas das instituições, mais precaução nas entradas e saídas, entrega de mercadorias, orientações aos funcionários, telefones de urgência e emergência visíveis, entre outras ações no sentido de haver mais atenção no dia a dia.

Também estão trabalhando cuidadosamente para os cuidados virtuais com fake news cobrando ainda o monitoramento ativo das plataformas em relação a ameaças. As plataformas serão notificadas formalmente nesta semana sobre os perfis e conteúdos suspeitos identificados pela pasta da Justiça em conjunto com as polícias dos estados.

Assim diminuindo a fake news que está causando consumo de informações falsas a poluição.

Nice to meet ya

For my first post. I kinda felt like giving a little synopsis on myself. I'm Charmmy Haze. I have used that alias for a little over a year while I try and make money on the internet doing something that makes me happy. Entertaining others. When I was younger all I wanted to do was run my own businesses. And I have worked for myself before. I was an excellent boss but I definitely didn't have the benefits the big guys have. I grew up in a the local arts scene around nashville TN and I went to the arts highschool. My personal major was dance in those days and I do have over 14years of ballet experience but these days my art takes different forms of media. I enjoy sculpting crafting painting dancing singing burlesque modeling and acting. I'm one of those that makes the lewd cosplays and I make them myself. This year I met up with my co producer friend I will affectionately call Shadow and we started making art together. you may see him and a few of my other friends show up in this blog from time to time. I just really felt like I needed a space to put everything all together and I hope this is it

Chill friend

The problem with being the chill friend when you're a melinnial. We aren't valued anymore. The drama friend who demands attention and has the most and the best is valued. Ya know that friend you have who you can say anything to and they have your back? That you go to for honesty and they'll tell you what's up no matter if you like or not. You might be this person for your friend group or you might be going "that sounds like so n so".

The problem with being the chill friend is being cancelled on. Being ditched and having your events dodged because "so n so will understand". The chill friend stops being worth the effort. I'm not talking about being the passive push over. Because the chill friend has likely hit you up about always never being there for them. So you made vows to do better and then avoided them for several months or the friendship dissolved altogether from that point.

Do you really give a shit about how your chill friend feels? Or do you give them those comments that basically say "you'll figure it out" whenever they bring up themselves.

Speaking as the chill friend I have given up. I've spent years on shitty romantic relationships. Thankfully each got shorter as I got wiser. I am officially not going to loiter in the chill friend space for anyone who bails on me anymore.

Cheers to future friendships with less shitty people who actually show up!

For LIS7423 we were required to do 4 Pinterest boards, one being a wild card. The theme for my wild card was inclusive spaces, but the more I read in preparation for the social media paper I was going to write for this project, the more interested in social media I became. I elected to create another board, not for a grade, but just because I feel it is an important resource for librarians to have.

As much as I resist the term, I am a melinnial. I grew up in the age of instant messaging and the social media boom of the early 2000s. But this does not mean that I am adept in all formats of social media. I used MySpace (dating myself here), and before this project I used Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat. I never jumped into the fast paced world that was twitter, or the blogging message board style community of tumblr. And I never posted a video on YouTube, what would I say and who would care about what I actually talked about?

These were new experiences for me. But I learned a lot from them! I learned how to link a Pinterest board, to my tumblr post, and then share that link via twitter! I figured out how to upload a video to YouTube and adjust privacy settings to make it viewable to different groups of people. I navigated my way through retweets, threads, and hashtags of twitter. And I came out the othe side a lot more knowledgeable than I was when I first started this assignment at the beginning of the semester.

This board here, is all about social media. All about different forms of social media and how to use it to reach the right group of people. It also provides suggestions about the right times to post on these platforms! If you post at the wrong time, when teens go to these outlets they may not see your post because it was pushed to far down in their constant rolling and ever refreshing news feed.

I also must give the highest of credit to the reference librarian at my library and fellow library staff members who introduced me to Canva and encouraged me to create flyers for some of the displays in the past few months. I had never heard of Canva before, and when they showed me the endless possibilities of what I could do with it, my mind was blown. I used it a lot this semester to create posts and images that I shared via twitter and here on my tumblr. I also used it to create all of the headers for my social media accounts required for this class. So as a dedication, I also include some tips and hacks on how to use Canva for social media in the library. There is a phenomenal resource which shows great pairings of different fonts in Canva as well.
