bonefall, what would cats call dolphins? im asking because im inventing terms for swimmers leg along with wobbly cat syndrome for a fanclan project which has ballooned in scope.

They don't have a word for dolphins, specifically; they only have a word from Midnight for porpoises. Specifically the harbor porpoise, a very small cetacean barely bigger than a huge fish.

It's from ancient Lakemew; Bffosh. The sound of a blowhole as it surfaces and breathes in. They might end up using it to describe larger cetaceans, if they were aware of them. A Clan that spends more time around the ocean would probably create more words for them.

But generally, Clan cats refer to fish, not dolphins. They only visit the ocean, they don't live there.

Max Verstappen: okay this just had to come up at some point. sometimes in certain angles and lightning, as well as without a cap on and slightly sweaty on the podium, he actually does look attractive, I don’t make the rules

Yuki Tsunoda: we’re getting into ‘I don’t much care’ territory at this point. he’s a cutie, I love him and his relationship with Pierre, not much to report on the hotness scale though, mainly bc he has to wear Alpha Tauri stuff all the time

15.02.2023 | MERCEDES CAR LAUNCH

Today was the Mercedes car launch, and it didn't disappoint! Not even a second!

I went to bed at midnight and woke up every hour. I woke up startled, thinking I had missed the live stream, but it was 3.44 AM, and I took it as a good sign. I kept sleeping and waking up because I had a nightmare that the W14 was the ugliest car I'd seen in my entire life. It was barely 4.30 AM, so I went to Twitter and saw the leak. The live stream started at 5.15 AM. I only suffer this much because I love the team way too much.

On the other hand, this is my new favorite live stream. Ferrari was amazing, but I genuinely loved every segment of Mercedes. I love the behind-the-scenes, it made the wait more entertaining. Also, I like Naomi and Natalie, they did a great job! It had good timing, it didn't get too long, and the wait for the reveal was made up for by good interviews.

Now the W14. MY GOD. It's a beauty, I loved it completely. It looks promising. It's the black livery I've been wanting, but it turns out it's actually all exposed carbon with little paint, which means they're going to save a lot of weight. I read they can save more than 3kg, which would close the gap.

Thank god Mercedes was able to implement the gap separators on the front wing. I hope it makes a big difference during testing (and the whole season). The zeropods concept also looks promising.

They said there was no more porpoising, but when they asked George about it after the shakedown and he said we have to wait until testing to find out. Fuck.

Now regarding the shakedown, the engine was misfiring. I study law, not engineering, so I can't comment beyond what I read. There was an update after, saying that, after checking the engine, they just did not ensable it correctly to the chassis. I think. In conclusion, it is solvable.

I can't stop talking about my love for the entire Mercedes team, it was exciting to see all four of them together. Plus, they all looked incredibly sexy.

On my scale of reveals, Haas (simple), Williams (ideal), and Red Bull (unnecessarily complicated), Mercedes ranks right next to Williams! I really enjoyed it!

The only team missing is Alpine. The car has already been leaked. I honestly don't hate Alpine. I just don't care as much for them as a team. Still, I'll see what they have planned.

° They usually leave their hair undone on porpoise so when you come over you would do their hair .

° Mitsuya never admitted it but seeing you laughing and taking care of his younger siblings really warms his heart and makes him fall 10 times harder for you.

° one time you and Mana and Luna fell asleep after coming back from the park and that was Mitsuya's favorite memory, you sleeping on the couch with Mana and Luna on each side of you he took a picture and made it as his lockscreen so whenever things get hard he would look at it and that would immediately brighten his day .

Alright here's a detailed summary of my Tokyo Mew Mew X Warrior Cats Crossover AU so far

Two-legs, with their powerful and cruel monsters, are destroying the natural enviroment where many creatures live, including the wild cats of the clans.

The cats of the clans are a religious cat colony, who have for many centuries fought for their territories and listened to the guidance of their ancestors' spirits...but not all ancestors have the warrior cats' best interests at heart.

Strawberrypaw/flight (TC, Squirrelflight, main character, smoky flying squirrel), Sweetpaw/swing (SkC, Darktail, youngest, golden lion tamarin), Frondtail (RC, Feathertail, finless porpoise), Crowpaw/breath (WC, Crowfeather, blue lorikeet) and Pomegranatebark (ShC, Tawnypelt/Mothwing, eldest, gray wolf) are blessed with powers from animals nearing extinction, and together they must protect nature, their colony and achive a safer home for all.

Cinderslope (Cinderpelt) and Silverwing (Swiftpaw) have been in contact with their ancestors already and know what is coming, Kiwipaw (Leafpool) was trained under them so it was easy to notice that her sister was chosen, Nightpaw (Brambleclaw/Hawkfrost) hasn't got a clue for a while though, took a few weeks of dating to get suspicious.

Eventually Cinderslope and Silverwing reveal something, they have a strange beast called "The Middle", which can exist between realities and be perceived in a multitude of ways, Strawberry starts carrying it around as a badger plushie she calls "Midnight" (named after her crush)

Tigerblue is a powerful evil cat spirit, who claims to believe the clans are as much a threat as two-legs, and that they should all be destroyed, starting anew with a chosen few trained by him

These trained cats are Ashmuzzle, Blackslice and Turtlesun. Ashmuzzle doesn't care much about Tigerblue though, and rather focuses on his own interests, Blackslice is cold and loyal to Tigerblue and along with Turtlesun was recruited once Ashmuzzle failed to bring results, Turtlesun is the youngest of the trio. They call themselves The Starcynics and turn the two-legs' monsters and other things into their soldiers in this war.

Eventually someone else starts getting in the way of The Starcynics' plans, the Bluenight! A mysterious powerful cat resembling the starless but that is summoned only when Strawberryflight needs him.

Ok I'm going to drop them all here and you just tell me if you want to hear more about one 😅

George Lewis performance engineer and always complains that he can't see very good anymore, so he at one point starts to wear contacts. When they sit in the garage until midnight to fix the car, George changes to his glasses and Lewis positively loses it

James is doubting himself so much over the strategies and his work and Bono notices because his bf is a lot quieter suddenly and always working. They cuddle together until James is happy again (maybe he read some hate comments or something and has to stop bono from posting an angry reply)

Tiny wolf/merc pack au: George complains about porpoising and back pains, so Mike makes sure to let him roll up in his sweater, to keep him warm and carries him back to the hotel where Aleix can take care of him

Toto uses his alpha voice on Lewis during that confrontation in the garage and Lewis is heartbroken because it never happened before and positively scared - bono builds him a big nest and George brings Fred for cuddles and they don't leave Lewis until Toto properly apologised

Shov is frustrated with the car and Mike simply lets him fuck it out of his system and its just messy angry sex on every surface of their hotel room sjsj

Lewis and George are positively overworking themselves, doesn't matter the sim or at the track, so Riki and Bono kind of made it their personal mission to make sure they eat and drink enough. One night Mike and Toto have to carry both drivers back to the hotel on their backs because they fell asleep over data

Idk how often the rewritten clans would go near the ocean, but I imagine not enough to see things like orcas (who do occasionally show up around Britain)

So imagine, for whatever reason is needed, some cats go by the ocean and see this MASSIVE black fish move through the waves, and then realise there’s a whole POD of them 0.0

Idk, just think it would be a pretty fun idea!

What's more likely is that they'd see porpoises! Specifically harbor porpoises. Occasionally orcas and minke whales are seen from the coast of Wales, but the general area where I've put the Clans is close to a shallow part of the Irish Sea where these little guys are common,

When they discover the ocean and settle in the Lake territory, the Clans visit the beach once a year to collect salt for medicinal and culinary purposes. It's not too far-fetched they'd see one.

Maybe to you and me who are spoiled by the knowledge of big whales it would seem unimpressive, but this is BY FAR the largest “fish” they’d ever seen. It would be humbling and awe-inspiring to a little cat.

It would be cute if Midnight was able to see them so impressed by a porpoise, honestly. With her knowledge of megafauna, it would be endearing to see their reaction to something she’s long since stopped appreciating. Remind her of why she loves the cats so much.

6. Perfect Book to Read on a Rainy Day? We Are Okay by Nina LaCour kind of fits the mood of a rainy day and also like is fairly easy to read structure wise. I also think rainy days are a good time for a good classic piece of literature (like Shakespeare, Virginia Woolf, etc) especially if you have a fire going during that time. A fairly easy classic book in my opinion is The Great Gatsby. If you want to be emotionally wrecked on a rainy day so that your face can match the outdoors, read They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera.

7. Favorite Characters? Everyone from Heartstopper, Nora from Red, White, and Royal Blue, (I don’t really focus on characters while reading lmao)
