2. What’s something about your OC that people wouldn’t expect just from looking at them?

With Bowman, I think being four inches tall, and lean, and very forest-fae chic, it's easy to forget he's kind of a wood sprite equivalent of a pro athlete. Flying around as often as he does is a constant workout for most of his body - wings, of course, but also shoulders, core, even his legs to keep himself angled right. He's strong for a wood sprite! It's just hard to tell by looking because he fits in a pocket.

Where do you think Mc is going to go if they died..? Heaven? or Hell?

Personally, i think Mc is going to roam Earth for all for eternity as a wandering Ghost/Soul, neither going to Heaven nor Hell. Basically, it's just like Jack O’Lantern.

This is a really interesting question, anon.

The game implies that heaven and hell are separate from the Celestial Realm and the Devildom, so if we assume that's the case then in the end MC would be alone no matter where they went.

Since the demons and others can't follow them. However, if it's like you suggest and they wander earth for all eternity, then that's almost less lonely. Because now I'm having visions of Solomon, returned to the human world after MC has died, and randomly finding their wandering ghost just to talk to them. It's both heartbreaking and special - he's probably the only one who can find them.

I personally don't think MC will ever die. And not just because they don't even bother to bring that up in the game. But because if you think about all the power and magic that MC has now, it seems unlikely that they wouldn't be fundamentally altered (though still human).

I wouldn't attribute that to the pacts, since that would've been more than enough to make Solomon immortal. But I think it's more about the whole "ring" situation from season two of OG. It's like by connecting the three worlds the way MC does, they manifest the power of all three worlds within them and connect them. It's so powerful that things start to go haywire. I can't imagine that MC would be able to hold all that magic without it changing them.

It's just a personal headcanon, of course. There's no reason to believe that anything has happened to MC on a physical level. It just makes the most sense to me.

That being said, I also really like the idea that MC could potentially become an angel or a demon in their afterlife. If MC died and went to hell and became a demon, then they'd be with the demons forever, right? Similarly, MC could die and become an angel, then either choose to stay in the CR or fall on purpose just to return to the Devildom. That feels like such an angsty scenario. Imagine the brothers reacting to either of those situations... oof!

But I like your lonely MC wandering earth as a ghost theory, too.

i am actually so sad we never got a columbo point and click fmv and/or shitty fixed camera tank control game that i once made a fake frame of one

but believe it or not, there was a real, licensed columbo adventure game for the apple newton!

you have to really squint to find it, and it's this like, fucked-up version where he wears his badge on his chest for some reason? but lo and behold, we do get one and only one official sprite of lieutenant columbo in video game form.

Lando swings open the door the dinner, practically tripping over his own feet as he makes his way inside, delighted to be out of the crisp fall morning air. He takes off his scarf as he makes his way over to the bar, and gives his biggest, most beaming smile to Oscar, who has been watching Lando’s entry with a wary yet fond look on his face from his place behind the counter. “Oscar, you look beautiful today. Practically glowing. New skin care routine?” 

Oscar rolls his eyes. “Five minutes,” he says, turning his back to Lando. “Coffee’s not done brewing yet. Are you having breakfast?”

“Five minutes,” Lando laments dramatically, flopping his head down on the bar. “Might as well be five years. Why do you hate me.”

Oscar turns back to him, looking entirely unimpressed. “The machine was broken. You’ll live. Just be glad I managed to fix it.”

Lando, who had been making garbling dying noises into the warm wood of the bar, perks up. “Oscar, you are a savior to mankind and I don’t know what I would do without you. You impeccable handyman, you. You shining example of everything that’s good in the world. They should reward you citizen of the month. Nay, citizen of the-“

“Lando,” Oscar interrupts him, raising an eyebrow. “Do you want breakfast or not?”

Voldemort’s eyes were closed, but Harry imagined them anyway, their gaze crimson and mocking.

“No,” Harry said aloud, his hands sliding to grip the front of Voldemort’s robes.

We have no clue who this is but they feel like the sort of guy who would keep eight bins of leftover takeout in their fridge, minimum, at any given time, and just pull them out when they need to eat. 1. What memory would your OC rather just forget?

For both of them it would probably be one of the big climactic moments of Bowman of Wellwood, the story they originate from. Most people here probably already know it but I'll keep it vague in case there's some out there that have yet to be spoiled. Needless to say it was traumatic for all involved.

2. What’s something about your OC that people wouldn’t expect just from looking at them?

For Chase, people underestimate how good a liar he is, which only helps him sell the ruse. For Bobby, I think people wouldn't expect his temper. He jumps to frustration pretty fast when he doesn't get his way, exactly his way (it's something he knows to work on as he gets out of his teen years).

3. What is your OC’s fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

Chase: Very impulsive, aware of it, and unsure how to stop.

Bobby: The aforementioned temper. Not super aware of it outside of moments when he's getting angry about something.

5. How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

Chase would back down if things got too dark or heavy. Bobby needs to have that sense knocked into him, so he tends to go farther to get things (it comes from a place of extreme privilege; he's used to getting what he wants, but he's capable of listening and learning).

8. Would your OC ostensibly be able to get away with murder?

10. What’s an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC?

Trick question, if I'm exploring an AU it's because I found it interesting. This could probably be a whole discussion on its own, though Chase has a couple fun AUs floating around this blog already!

12. Is your OC self-destructive? In what ways?

Chase could be considered a little self-destructive, probably. He's all impulse, very little consideration of long term consequences. He's going with the flow, which is good to a point. He needs more level-headed people to remind him to stay on track sometimes. Bobby's probably not that self-destructive? He's selfish but he doesn't fall into things that'd be harmful long term.

15. Does your OC have a faceclaim? If so, who?

I don't really have any faceclaims for either of them, no. Probably should try to find some.

17. What is the worst thing you have put your OC through story-wise?

Chase's worst time was probably in the Brothers Lost Supernatural AU with @nightmares06, in which we had him captured by the Hellhounds Ed and Harry, and subsequently hotboxed in their RV. He has asthma. Don't smoke around him.

I suppose so far the worst thing I've ever written for Bobby was getting possessed by a demon in a different Supernatural AU with nightmares06. What can we say, we put everyone through some stuff! No one is safe.

19. How does your OC behave when enraged?

I almost can't imagine Chase enraged? I don't think I'll know until I have occasion to write it. Bobby gets very entitled and myopic.

23. What emotion is the hardest for your OC to process? How about express?

They're young men who grew up in the US. The world around them has given them all the wrong lessons for how to process and express sadness. It's one thing to say they know "Boys don't cry" is bullshit, it's another to live by it. Luckily they have Jacob around, who is a really good example for how to process and express emotions.

25. What is your favorite thing about your OC?

Chase is a total goober with a knack for talking himself into and sometimes out of trouble. I never know what I'm gonna come up with for him next lol.

Bobby's not one of my favorite OCs, but he at least isn't as one dimensional as I used to think. He's insufferable in some ways and always has a strong chance of making the exact wrong decision, but he can learn.

Sexuality Headcanon: Gay. Maybe wants someone to really settle down with. He seems to me like the type of guy who probably has hookups but is generally tired with it and wants to have a Set Partner.

Gender Headcanon: Cis Man

A ship I have with said character: Him and Chip (Courier), of course :3 I like to think that if and when Chip finally hangs up his spurs, they can settle down and live quietly. I think of that one ending where Arcade becomes a family doctor and finds a lot of solace and happiness in that.

A BROTP I have with said character: Arcade and Veronica <3 mlm wlw and former members of Morally Questionable Organizations solidarity

A NOTP I have with said character: I can't really think of any to be honest! Probably anything shipping him with a cis woman but I actually haven't seen like...any of that. Which is heartening!

A random headcanon: He's pretty kinky and likes to be submissive and cared for. It's nice not to have to make a lot of choices and relinquish control now and again. In my eyes, he kind of seems like someone who can be a bit of a control freak at times--Or he's at least particular. To have someone else care for him tenderly and call the shots is soothing and relieves stress 👍
