His eyes widend slightly as he spotted the familiar tall ice ninja often drssed in that pure white, against the wall his arms hanging charined up to the slightly broken apart stone wall, the skin of the said nindroid mo longer being this pale gently skin but now this shinning and slightly dusty metal titanium. His eyes which where dimmed and closed slowly opend and shined a weak and tired like cyan as he spotted kai and let out a confused, tired and relieved ask for help "k-..kai?.. your h-here?.." His desperate and yet trustfull voice made kai feel something and a gently smile on his face soon appeared and slowly but surely turned into a grin and he placed his hand on the metal bar. His voice rining in a low tone as he grinned and his eyes dimmedly glowing this Curopt and traitorous like dimming glow of orange and red as his grin widend and he spoke. "Zane.. So lovely to see you again" Zane looked at kai in confusion since last he remembered kai Had no intrest of ever even tolorating him and the others.. again.. "wh-" he was cut off by kai once again speaking in a cold and feeling less tone "oh! look at the time... Looks like i have to go... aawe, i wouldve loooved to save you but you know.. im not a hero like you" and quickly kais hand let go of the metal bars as zane felt dread fill him and his eyes widend in fear, kai slowly leaving his view and his steps slowly walking away "kai!- nO!!-" he tried to yell in a weak and distorted tone

Just read an article that used the abbreviation ‘msm’ for ‘men who have sex with men’ and I think it’s something we could really utilise within the aromantic and aspec communities.

Would you elaborate about the french medieval metal, that sounds like something I would love

so before i recommend anything to you i would like to ummmm... warn you about black metal and specifically about french black/medieval metal in general? i’m a jewish person who loves black metal, which unfortunately does not often love me back so i’m like constantly aware of/researching this shit. unfortunately there are many racist and antisemitic bands in the scene. and the general report on the french scene is Bad.

there are a lot of bands in the french black metal scene (peste noire etc) and in the french medieval black metal scene that are either flatout nsbm or at the very least nsbm/fascist adjacent. if you look on encyclopedia metallum, you can see other projects that members of the bands have been involved in, and you can see that even if the band itself isn’t nbsm, musicians have often been involved in such bands in the past, or used session musicians, etc. you gotta decide your level of comfort with this. for example, aorhlac is a band i don’t really listen to because one of their members is the only person behind sühnopfer and a ton of other nsbm bands. 

the specific band i am in love with is véhémence, and their album par le sang versé is in constant rotation.if you only listen to one song listen to l'étrange clairière: partie ii, which is as far as i’m concerned an absolutely perfect song. i cannot fully describe the emotions i feel when i listen to it but it is fucking TRIUMPHANT. i have done some poking around and haven’t found any concrete sus links with this band (and i do think it’s a one man project) but again, keep in mind how incestuous the french black metal scene is.

the guy behind véhémence also has a side project called grylle, which is black metal (like the chord structure / speed / vocal style) but all acoustic. it’s amazing.

for non french and definitely not fascist medieval medal, i linked an obsequiae song the other day. this is a lighter and more warm and hopeful kind of medieval black metal, but it is lovely. his album the palms of sorrowed kings is lush and gorgeous.

darkenhöld is also french and kind of straddles the dungeon synth / medieval black metal cheese level. their latest album, arcanes & sortilèges, is very good. as far as i know they are not linked with anything like the above.

NBSM: Established relationship Nouis, they have a two-year-old daughter and decide to try for another baby.  Louis, who is nonbinary, gets pregnant and gives birth six weeks early.  This is my first time trying to write a nonbinary character and I’m alternating between “this is challenging but I’m learning so much” and “who the heck am I even kidding, I cannot do this” but if I manage to finish I’d like to submit it for Nouisfest.

HCLT: Louis turns into a hairless cat (because reasons).  Harry’s his roommate who ends up looking after him and making him sweaters (because nakey) and taking him to work to meet the office printer that’s constantly cleaning itself.  There’s mutual pining and of course Louis turns back into a human and then there’s kissing and stuff.

Weird Compliments Monster AU: Gryles, starts in a coffeeshop.  Harry leaves his coat (pink and fuzzy) behind and Nick runs after him to return it.  Harry shows up the next day with a ring and tells Nick they should be married by Nick’s customs as well.  Nick goes along with it (but not because he’s lonely and afraid of dying alone, shut up Aimee) and he falls in love the more they plan what he thinks is a joke wedding (it is not a joke wedding).

Holey Fic: Nick and Louis, started before Louis’s first appearance on the Breakfast Show and takes place the same day.  Basically, Louis is wearing that shirt full of the holes and nothing else and Nick can only touch him through the holes.  

Rifter Fic: Non-rpf fic!  It’s for my favorite book series, The Rifter series by Ginn Hale, and it’s basically what I like to think happens the night of the electrical storm when Kyle eats the apple, core and all.  Like NBSM up there, I’m finding it challenging while thinking I’m not remotely qualified to be writing it (despite having read the series four times), but I do like the idea a lot.

this au is called Not so bland memories au and is a ninjago au NSBM au was another version of it call bland memories.

BM : kai never becomes a ninja. he still goes with wu to train and right after he saves nya he leaves the ninjas and nya follows with him. in this short time the others swear they have seen him before but kai shakes it off. Tho in the time they met the others fall for kai and kai finds out, to relive them of the pain when he leaves he gives them a special memory erasing tea that ereases the memories of the one who hands them the tea the night before he leaves. fast forward around 10 years (like s8 time area)) kai has become a chef and part time trainer in nyas dojo when a confused and yet terrified cole gets thrown right through the wall of kais resturant only to instantly feel like he has seen him before. kai panics and hides his face before cole could get a good loke of his face and remember how kai looks.

NSBM :kai actually stayed to until lloyd became the green ninja and then left without nya to become a chef in the outskirts of ninjago city and instead of giving them memory ereasing tea h drinks it himself to forget the others (including nya) in this au the ninjas meet kai again, when hes walking out of his resturant and the ninjas have somehow found him and tries to remind him but he just is annoyed at the ninjas bc he sees them as attention seeking loud and self centered heros. one day gamardon(who kai knows jack shit about because he lives under a rock) finds him and first was planning on making him his second in comman but tries kais food and decides kai shall be his 'evil' chef and kai agrees because well uh, hes nice and he pays pretty well this on the other hand beaks the ninjas hearts and their convinced gamardon cursed kai or some shit
