Just read an article that used the abbreviation ‘msm’ for ‘men who have sex with men’ and I think it’s something we could really utilise within the aromantic and aspec communities.

eg) XLX - loving

wlw/ mlm/ nblw/ nblm/ nblnb/ wlm etc.

eg) XSX - having sex

wsw/ msm/ nbsm/ nbsw/ nbsnb/ wsm etc.

eg) XRX - in a relationship (you can define this however you want: romantic, sexual, neither, both, queerplatonic, other, unlabelled etc)

wrw/ mrm/ nbrm/ nbrw/ nbrnb/ wrm etc.

like this could be such a useful tool for easily differentiating experiences within informational communication!!

"November Cotton Flower" is a sonnet about hope blooming, like certain flowers, in the harshest of environments. Set against the historical backdrop of American slavery and racial segregation, the poem tells readers how the cotton flower of the title miraculously “bloomed” amid devastating natural conditions (including insect infestation and drought). Through this image, the poem emphasizes both the importance of hope and the difficulty of finding and maintaining hope under awful circumstances. This flower represents an especially fragile and complicated hope, because it isn't just beautiful; as a crop once picked by enslaved people, it's also a symbol of slavery itself. On the one hand, then, it suggests that new life and "beaut[iful]" possibilities can grow in adversity; on the other, it's a reminder of terrible oppression. Any optimism it inspires (such as hope for social progress) is complicated by the horrors of what's come before—and what might happen in the future.

The second and last in-person wrestling show I ever went to was from a company called World Series Wrestling, the event was called International Assault Defend & Destroy, and there were quite a few people, a majority of them were Australian but there were a few names that are well known.

The well-known names that I interacted with were Robbie Eagles, Bandido, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Scorpio Sky, Brodie King, Joey Ryan (that one was just out of pity and because he was sitting next to) Adam Brooks.

The only reason I even went to this show was for one wrestler in particular, who has since retired, Dowie James.

And when we got to the place that they were holding the event I was with my mother and we decided to go and get food and as we were walking to get food we passed Brodie King, some other guy and I think Bandido without his mask on.

I have a signed picture from Frankie, Christopher and Scorpio. A signed picture from Bandido. A Joey Ryan t-shirt. A Robbie Eagles T-shirt and a signed picture, and I don't think I got anything from Dowie except for a picture that I have no idea where is and it is really bad.

He was with Bullet Club at the time too.

They were the only ones out when I first went to the merch tables and I made eye contact with them, so I felt obligated.

Didn't really speak to each other tbh.
