TR CHARACTERS AS F1 DRIVERS — FT RAN & RINDOU HAITANI, SANZU HARUCHIYO, MANJIRO SANO

content — assigning each character an f1 driver & imagining what kind of driver they’d be + how they act at races w their gfs

notes —this is very impulsive and it stems from my recent obsession with f1 idk i thought it could be a cool concept and I don’t think anyone has done this b4 so here. as always reblogs are appreciated!!

RAN HAITANI

totally max verstappen. i feel like ran would tend to be a very impatient driver if he happens to lose control, and while he outwardly maintains a professional and calm image, he is a very reckless driver nonetheless, and this trait could very well be his undoing. One the bright side, his habit of getting angered over seemingly trivial things is proof than ran constantly strives for perfection, and works extremely hard to be the best driver on the grid.

the way ran would treat his girlfriend is where the similitudes between him and max end. In contrast to verstappen, i think ran would actually be very open about his private life and would not hesitate to show you off and boast about you in post-race interviews, on his instagram, twitter, literally everywhere. lucky you!

RINDOU HAITANI

charles leclerc. technically, I don’t think they actually would have a lot in common, I’m just saying that because I’m 100% sure that even if ran and rindou end up on the same team, there will still be rivalry going on. i know many people talk about how they’re literally super close and all, but come on. they’re brothers. there’s absolutely zero chance that there isn’t at least a tiny bit of competition between the two. Aside from that, charles is a very calm driver that constantly owns up to his mistakes and never blames the team; while I don’t think rindou would go to this degree of sympathy, i definitely think he’d always have a second thought for his team.

this is actually pretty funny, because I think in terms of private life & relationships, rindou would definitely resemble max more. definitely super private about everything, and doesn’t really talk about it unless he has to. he still loves you to bits though, he’s only doing this to protect you from the media.

SANZU HARUCHIYO

lando norris. both of them have rather colourful personalities (not considering sanzu’s is only like that due to drugs), and like to have fun. Confidence, wit and charm are their trademark, and that’s how both of them got so popular. Lando has talked about how he felt he wasn’t serious enough at times, and joked around too much, and i truly believe sanzu would adopt this exact attitude, the only difference being that he would never admit to it. Sanzu is definitely the type of guy to speak is mind, wether people are happy about it or not, and I’m sure he would have as big of a social media presence as lando. Overall, sanzu is a laid-back driver, with little concern about winning. As long as he’s on the podium.

to be very honest with you, i really can’t picture f1 driver!sanzu being in a relationship at all. As already mentioned, sanzu is a very laid-back person, and tends to be very unserious most of the time so either, A) his uncaring personality scares women away, or B) he breaks up with them because they don’t give him enough “freedom”. sorry.

MANJIRO “MICKEY” SANO

okay he really hit the jackpot with this one but I swear this is all objective: lewis hamilton. think about it: in the bonten timeline, mickey becomes bonten’s leader. Lewis’ disdain for rules totally matches up with mickey who technically doesn’t have to obey to any rules at all. Both of them are very independent and polarising, and don’t take bullshit from anyone. The only thing that I would say differentiates them from one another is probably lewis’ flashiness and lavish lifestyle. Mickey tends to keep more to himself, and wears the most mundane clothes to ever exist all the while being extremely wealthy.

When it comes to partners, I think Mickey would be like rindou or max, but like times ten. To be honest I don’t even think he would disclose anything about being in a relationship at all. He believes your relationship is something private, and nobody has the right to stick their nose into it.

Hazbin Hotel 7-8 (Spoil McNoil)

Hazbin Hotel is indeed not an action show.

But at least they tried to have some action.

Should they have tried tho?

(I'm gonna start out ripping, but, I don't hate this show, it's actually pretty funny that does some things super well but then just bumble fucks other big moments)

I mean, here's the thing, they're great at street fights, apparently. Vaggie vs Lute was pretty brutal, I felt like I was watching two bird tear eachother apart. Like a scene out of Gardians of Ga'Hoole.

But the ninja anime fantasy, martial arts type stuff was pretty weak, and didn't really track as something the characters would utilize. Like, Alastor is a cannibalistic voodoo serial killer from 1930's New Orleans. And twice before we've seen Alastor grow and contort to intimidate, kill, etc. But he doesn't do any of that against Adam except for that one aesthetic moment. Instead it's got generic "Tentril powers, GO!" vibes. Husker and Charlie also have this problem. Why is an American Gambler using cards like ninja stars? He can fly dude-- or, can he?

Can Husker fly?

And Charlie- like, she has a sheild, but she can only really use it to protect herself :/ Like, girl, just go inside.

Lucy beating the shit out of Adam was cut so short, Like, 2 secs and 4 punches b4 Charlie goes "DAD STOP ITS TOO MUCH"-- no, let Lucy COOK; I think it would have actually been an interesting point to make on how the reason Lucifer gives for discouraging the Hotel is sinner's being "The Worst", yet here he is clearly having a fit of violence (an understandable one but, Charlie, who's never even been to heaven except for a bs court hearing, has to remind a high-ranking angel to have mercy.) Charlie, razz and Dazz transforming didn't really do anything-- it actually felt more like a game of thrones reference, which would be fine if Razz or Dazz DID anything except die. They also didn't explain Carmilla's motive for helping them well. Like, neat entrance, but the build ups to the pay offs didn't exist :,O

And the voice acting: These guys are great singers, but the noises they make when they get hit, their mid-battle dialogue, is so corny and tonally off for certain characters. Like, Alastor and Charlie's yells in particular are- pardon my accent but cringe af.

Charlie in particular has so many anti-climatic moments. If they meant for her to not be particularly good at fighting, maybe establish that and not have all these super dramatic badass magical girl moments that just lead to her getting dunked on. It was so anticlimactic jeezuz christ.

And really it's more about picking a tone, the anti climactic moments could have been funny if they framed it as a funny moment or a joke, but it's framed seriously so it's read seriously.

But, who doesn't bumble fuck around how to end something though. I've read some juicy, golden touch stories that really freaked out on the gas and steering at the end. So, this isn't anything uncommon, especially for relatively new creators.

They have flaws, who doesn't. I loved so much about this show even when my first impression going in was just cringing at it not being what I expected. This is a critique of love, guys, I genuine wish the best for this show, bc it's apparent that when Viv has the freedom and breathing room she needs to plan and pace, she can cook up a good ass goddamned meal (See: Helluva Boss, Season one). This was them crunching and smushing a ton of story and moments into too-few episodes, which, looking back could have been done better, but its easy to see how something can be better once it's done and out in the world. (See: literally any amature artist 2 seconds after posting their work)

The season finale ended with so many good set ups tho! :D

Lilith vacaying in heaven, having made a deal with Adam.

Alastor becoming desperate for a way out, having made deals with Vaggie and Charlie-- And far more explicitly there against his will. Also--is a future antagonist?

Yes PLEASE. I love that they showed Al loosing his shit through his eyes even with the smile he's always wearing. And they built this up before hand having him talk previously about wearing a smile, basically as a mask.

PENTIOUS

YOU REDEEMED FU-

(I was actually cringing at Pentious the entire time inep 8, I'm sorry but he's so hard to take seriously-- even his "death" was funny as hell. I love him but its like how someone loves a clumsy puppy that destroys your house without neither malice nor remorse)

Also: The exorcists switching leaders- I am wondering how things are gonna change with them, especially given how much more sadistic and violent Lute is. Like, Adam just liked laughing at sinners. He saw them as insults to his existance, his mini-me hates and seems like she just enjoys violence and malice, using ego and "they deserve it" narratives as an excuse to indulge in acts that ordinarily would lan someone in hell.

Overall-- Not the best season finale I've ever seen, execution-wise through these 8 episodes (like, Vaggie got her wings learning to fight for love, but she's been doing nothing but supporting and protecting Charlie this whole time. There was no hint that she was bitter or wanted revenge). They definitely needed to pace and build things better but there's so much to love. Like, Seeing Alastor in his element with Rosie and Nifty was so fun, even if they were small moments (his laugh is so stiff tho, c'mon Al.)

The finale did a good job setting up the future, but I don't have much more to say than that. Hopefully, now that they know they're getting a second season, they'll just, breathe on this one a bit more ya?

I'm glad I watched it, I cried, I laughed, I cringed, I yelled at Pentious for subjecting me to second hand embarrassment. It's great :,D

Also- I hope he doesn't read this and takes it the wrong way, but Vox reminds me of my brother-- Especially with the scenes where he's watching the battle :,D

Stranger Things Pokemon Things

Nancy has always been stubborn, “head strong”, and told it’s not a good thing. One thing she has never felt insecure about is her pokemon. They’re her team, her babies, her backbone, her partners. Nobody is going to make them feel upset about her being their trainer. Ghost pokemon are strong, varied in talents, and beneficial to a young woman’s dating life.

There’s many more personal reasons Nancy has a team of entirely Ghost types (with some doubles), but the main one is that together they can feel in control. She never forces them to do anything, and they try not to inconvenience her despite sometimes needing to be treated like pets.

Steve likes Fighting types. He tends to attract the attention of many pokemon, but Fighting type pokemon make him feel stronger than he is. On his team he has some “surprising” ones, but that won’t stop him from loving his pokemon with his whole heart. It doesn’t matter to him if they have a primary or secondary type besides Fighting, they make him happy and he loves caring for them.

There was a brief time where Steve was struggling to maintain a team due to his insecurity in himself. It didn’t go terribly, because he always made sure the pokemon knew it was his own problems, not them. Those few who got away seem to enjoy the times they run into eachother again, wild or newly tamed.

Hey! I see loads of people posting BG3 recently and I have to say I’m extremely tempted. I’ve never played a game style like it however, and I’m worried I’ll find it too challenging? How do you find the play style, and do you think it’s easy to grasp? Thanks!

Compared to the previous installments, it’s way more beginner friendly. There’s an option to choose difficulty at the start of a new save if you’re the type who’s more interested in experiencing a story, as opposed to challenging combat.

Now as for being “easy to grasp”, it’s based off of DnD, so if you’ve got some idea of what that entails, it will be, if not, it might feel a bit awkward at first, but the beginner friendliness of BG3 ties into this as well. There will be a lotta reading involved, but much of it is there for you in the UI, all the races, classes and skills have explanations, it’s just up to you whether you wanna take the time to utilize it. Which tbf, I find it all incredibly fascinating, fluid and well done, to the point where I’ll purposefully spend a good chunk of my game time reading anything and everything, interacting with objects on the map, and getting as much lore out of the story and characters as possible.

The combat is great too once you get the hang of it, but just like the tabletop, this game excels in its social aspects, by interacting with the NPC’s, and the world around them.

Only real issues I’ve experienced so far with the game, is some minor glitches, mostly in cutscenes. The character creator is also quite weak compared to others I’ve tried, but only really in the looks category, but if you’ve got the patience to learn how to install them, mods help. Everything else, like choosing your background and class, is pretty detailed tho.

These are all just my personal opinions however, but if you’re interested, I highly recommend hitting up YouTube, as I did b4 buying it ( or any game for that matter ), and just watching some playthroughs to see the game in action, bc it’s hard to explain it all in words, and just bc a lotta other ppl are enjoying it, doesn’t mean you will too, and that’s okay, it really comes down to what you yourself personally expect out of a game, a $60 one at that.

aaaa i keep hearing lots of good stuff about Lamento but I'd have to find somewhere to download it tho I'm bad at installing games like that ,_, i did it for re:connect and it was a pain and took forever to figure out lol

i haven't played slow damage either! but i heard about the english release which is nice 👀

i only played TnC, sweet pool and dmmd .. it's funny because i never heard of any of those games before the beginning of this year :') i also prefer Sweet pool to TnC , just the whole general vibe i don't really know how to explain why tho x)

while i do love Tetsuo, Youji is alright too but for unknow reasons Zenya has stolen my heart :"))) and it's funny because i was expecting Makoto to be maybe the only "sweet" ending or something LOL it ended up being the most unhinged lmao i would have liked more than 1 ending option with Zenya and Makoto too ~

as for TnC Nano is my absolute favorite! i was also suprised with Motomi when i did his route i really fell in love with it too

oh same same same i cant rly explain what i love so much abt sweet pools overall setting and atmosphere its so quiet and kinda peaceful but also a lil ominous? it always feels like smth bad is goinf to happen, which it does. i guess...but yeah theres always that feeling of "something is happening" in the air even in ordinary scenes, and it feels kinda nostalgic..the setting..idk. i love the lgihting and stuff in it too and the muted colours hmm yes.

ill be honest i didnt like tetsuo for a rlyyy long time. i still feel he has a bit of a cardboard box personality but he has his moments, and i dont hate him or anything..youji is very close 2 me tho im very fond of him.hes liek a friend to me, idk why tho..and same!!!! zenya is ky fav char i liked him from his first appearance!!&$^@ he seemed like such an entertaining n interesting personality?#,%,# and thd mroe i got to know abt him the more itneresting hsi char got..

ik zenya has done many bad things and it disgusted me also, but overall i still thought he was pretty well written n hes definitelyyy my favourite chsr hes jsut so interestimg i could write a whole analysis on him i think..i should..tho i never want zenya n youji to interact they should be kept entire cities apart imo in fact zenya himself should jsut move away farrr away drom his dad and all thid bs i think.

university happened. 14 yr old caandlelit is beyond outraged that i typed that sentence i wish i had his fervor for writing or at the very least his time. i want time so badly i have NO FREE TIME!!!!! i was in a lecture and the guy was like can any of u literal bastards tell me what the most precious thing is on earth and i said time and he turns around like WHO SAID THAT! and i literally looked at the ceiling like a cartoon whistling innocently except i cant whistle bc i didnt want to be wrong and then the other teacher said hey u said something tell him. and i said time and he pointed at me with his spindly artist finger and said Precisely. Time. we dont have it. and i was like this is so relevant to my life and lawnchair .

ok so- c!tommy. we are all aware he’s traumatized, and experiences ptsd from being in traumatic experiences, this is basically fact. while i’d like to talk how c!tommy experiences ptsd, i’d like to bring up a thing i haven’t seen mentioned a lot when it comes to c!tommy and his trauma- c-ptsd. also known as complex-ptsd. it occurs when someone experiences something traumatizing for a period of time.

which, as we know, the exile arc fits the description of “ongoing traumatizing experiences” pretty fucking well. the exile was basically just two weeks of trauma. for a lot of reasons too, there was dream abusing tommy, tommy being isolated, tommys own depression/suicidal thoughts/bad mindset in general. this would all be considered a ongoing traumatizing experience(s).

ptsd is very similar to c-ptsd in how it develops, but ptsd occurs after one singular traumatizing event . (by the way, the event doesnt have to be life or death, it could be something like witnessing or hearing about a shocking event!!!)

symptoms of c-ptsd overlap with ptsd a good lot of the time, due to them both being trauma disorders. however, there are a few differences. here r some symptoms of c-ptsd, alot of which are ptsd symptoms that alot ofpeople with c-ptsd experience as well

reliving the traumatic experience

avoiding certain situations

changes in beliefs and feelings about yourself and others

hyperarousal (jitteriness, being on alert, etc)

somatic symptoms (physical symptoms with no underlying cause)

lack of emotional regulation

change in consciousness

negative self-perception

difficulty with relationships

distorted reception of abuser

loss of system of meanings

now, i’ll go over which of these fit our boy c!tommy, and how they fit for some of them atleast. i will only be talking about the things that are a result from c-ptsd, but also c-ptsd works where it coincides with other mental illnesses a person has so. its also important to note that within a person these symptoms might not stay the same over time, and not everyone who has c-ptsd or ptsd is going to experience it the same. (so not talking abt how pain affects him after dying in the prison, though that is a clear sign of ptsd)

reliving the traumatic experience

tommy’s done this with exile a few times, when revisiting logstedshire, when he saw the craters in logstedshire, when visiting dream in prison, when during the disc finale dream dug the hole and told him to put his armour in, etc etc, he’s even described himself as being trembly in the fingers near plain biomes, while visting logsted he mentioned how shaky it made him to be there, and when he visited logsted one time he had an immediate reaction to seeing a hole in the ground that came off as him reliving it. flashbacks come in from sensations during a traumatic event, like sight, feeling, emotion, etc, etc. it seems like with these he’s experiencing more of a reliving the emotions kind of thing.

avoiding certain situations

i was originally not gonna include this one, but thinking about it, he kind of does in a way. this symptom also includes keeping yourself preoccupied to avoid thinking about it, which is something c!tommy seems to do alot. with focusing on building the hotel, and doing tasks, or grinding for supplies instead of actually thinking about it.

changes in beliefs and feelings about yourself and others

c!tommy uh. does this a lot. a lot of it stems from how during exile tommy was isolated and made to believe no one cared for him, and even if that wasn’t true c!tommy never really got much closure on that. hes not really trusting ppl that b4 were really close to him, tubbo n ranboo for example

lack of emotional regulation

this can also be described as uncontrollable feelings. this is the one i’ve wanted to talk about the most i think- because this is really fits c!tommy. he tends to lash out alot, for example burning the flower c!ranboo gave him, there are a bunch more examples of this that include him yelling at others, that one time when he spleefed c!jack

negative self-perception

yeah. theres a few examples of this one, the one that first comes to mind is that time during the green festival where he was talking about how he was worse than everyone he didn’t wanna be (including his abuser, c!dream...) . theres now when he was building his tower by the prison when he was saying he couldn’t use the cobble because it was too him, and people didnt like the cobble. alot of this i think comes from c!dream making him feel basically worthless in exile :(

difficulty with relationships

Yeah. um. Alot for this one!!! The first to come to mind is c!tubbo. c!tommy and c!tubbos relationship is very very wonky, especially considering recent events with tommy feeling like he is being replaced with c!ranboo. (which he isnt by the way! he just feels as though, which is a valid feeling for him to have :]) . another person that comes to mind is c!ranboo. he’s even mentioned how his and ranboos relationship goes back and forth quite alot. its not very surprising to see that he has difficulty with relationships especially considering a lot of the reason that the exile affected him so badly was because he felt so alone and was so isolated from his friends. another thing that comes to mind, is when he made c!sam sign that contract promising hat he’d be his best friend and protect him. theres most likely way more that can be said here, but this is the first stuff that comes to mind.

distorted reception of abuser

um... yeah. this one. this can also be described as , “ becoming preoccupied with the relationship between you and your abuser. It can also include preoccupation with revenge or giving your abuser complete power over your life. “ which is um. yeah. c!tommy. he’s mentioned how whenever he’s around c!dream he feels like hes conditioned to be his friend (which. yea . he was .). right after he left logstedshire this was very very prominent, he was the biggest c!dream apologist around (/j), saying things like “dream didnt do anything wrong” and even explaining how he wasnt sure about things when it comes to c!dream, that his mind became flip floppy whenever he thought about him. right now, hes focused on getting back at c!dream, not fully for revenge, mainly for his friends and how he doesnt want c!dream to go around killing and reviving everyone, but the point still stands. (this all makes me extra sad because he had gone to the prison the second time in the first place to get closure :(( )

loss of system of meanings

Systems of meaning refer to your religion or beliefs about the world. This can also refer to getting a strong sense of hopelessness or despair about the world, which as of late mainly c!tommy seems to have. mainly referencing in his stream where he visited dreams bunker, he was asking what the point was of finding things that made him happy if dream was just going to get out the prison and destroy it. theres also a few things that also go with this, in one stream while he burnt down ponks lemon tree for sam nook he said "thats still decaying, but yknow, arent we all." and that one time when he gave that hotel invitation to c!techno he was like “ahahha we could die tomorrow anyway”

its also important to note that, “Any type of long-term trauma, over several months or years, can lead to CPTSD. However, it seems to appear frequently in people who’ve been abused by someone who was supposed to be their caregiver or protector. “ Which is.. fairly accurate in c!tommy’s situation. c!dream might’ve not been a caregiver or protector necessarily but he was still someone that was looking after him yknow?

there are most likely more things than what i layed out that show that c!tommy most likely also has cptsd, however this is just the stuff that i thought up :] add to the post if you’d like to!

(also this isn’t saying that c!tommy doesnt have ptsd, he had both ptsd and c-ptsd. also i am not an expert about ptsd, cptsd, or mental health in general, if i got any information wrong let me know)
