So I have restarted my Fallout 4 playthrough for the 5th time but this time I skipped Concord and have been traveling with Codsworth without meeting the Minutemen, and honestly I’ve been enjoying it way more.
Like ok listen I like the Minutemen, but I also hate how early in the game your expected to take care of their problems for them. Which yes, the game does give you an out and you can leave Preston&Co. to their own devices while you head off for Diamond City after you rescue them but I can’t help but feel bad for doing that because the game has already shown me that they’re likely not gonna last long without help.
I feel like if I were to change this I would leave the Concord meeting and helping out in Sanctuary as the same. But Preston’s involvement is changed past this point. He’d still ask you to help out the Tenpines group, but does so because it’s a good chance to talk to more settlers, see if they’ve seen your son, and get a better idea of what’s out there before you head directly to Diamond City, instead of it just being Minutemen business.
Afterwards he’d still be available as a companion, but you wouldn’t be the General yet, he just feels like since the Sanctuary group can handle themselves now, he’s free to leave and help you find your son. Will still suggest helping settlements, but only does so when your in one that can be helped. And only after you’ve shown that your sufficiently willing to help those in need will he make you the General, after taking back the castle.

I do have on thing to say about the fact that "one of the passengers is a 19 year old" for the Titan.
A 19 year old is still a "teenager" but that is a whole ass adult. That is an adult who has been an adult for a year and acting like he has no self agency to not make the choices he did is just ridiculous and I'm seeing *way* to many people on this site pretty much just infantalize him. 18 is *also* an adult. A new adult, but still an *adult*. If you are seriously in the mindset of "but that's a child still!" You need to step away from Tumblr and just think about how you view the various human stages of development.
19 year olds aren't kids. That man made that choice to go down there.
(also as a trans man who's rights are under attack and that people are using the argument of "kids can't consent" to get their foot in the door and then further take them away from literal adults, some under the argument of "well a lot of y'all are autistic and Don't Really Understand what's happening even though you're adults!!" This shit infuriates me. Stop infantilizing people!!! This may not be about my rights as a trans person but the issue of infantilizing literal adults is still the same!!!)

ok maybe this is just me BUT hear me out. the murders of shadowhunters are one of the few plot points that did in fact make it way from tmh to tlh right? but while their purpose in tlh is Belial bring Leviathan to earth, in tmh they are heavily implied to be for Jesse's resurrection. and immediately after this its revealed Grace is quite skilled as a warrior and this kinda suggests that Grace will be the one to kill the shadowhunters. which is idea I think you do so much with like think of the possibilities.
like imo I don't think Grace is the type to just kill five innocent people. Tatiana would, but not Grace. so when deciding to undertake this task, I think she would select people she deems deserving of it, who aren't innocent and instead are bad, people nobody would really miss, not nice etc. so yes Elias still dies <3 also I think it would be a given that while Tatiana is under the impression Grace is doing all this on her account, that she will end up being the fifth and final death needed. like the inverse of Valentine and Jace in tmi. this also ties into Grace being Heaven with the whole idea of a Avenging Angel. also this would create the messiest love triangle in existence like wouldn't even be about James anymore lol

I made a post about some Bangel and Cangel parallels I've noticed (not all of them that exist, just some ones--for instance--that I've picked up on while reading the tie-in books), that I'll link at the bottom of this post... but with picture limit, I couldn't mention my last point in it, so I decided to just make a separate post about it here. So here it is.
Though, unfortunately, this one deals with the sensitive topic of Angel saving both Buffy and Cordelia from sexual assault -le sigh-
Anyway, starting out, here's the moment with Cordelia (as I think that in the chronology of the S3 books, that one happens first?).
Edit: I also respectfully ask that the shippers of both ships be kind to each other here, please. Thank you.
