Hi lovely humans! 💜❤️💛

Not sure what's happening this year, but time is flying by so quickly! I hope you enjoyed those photos Sensei treated us to on Twitter the past few weeks, hehe!

Forgot to snap a photo when it arrived, but IT'S HERE! The new Dear+ Magazine is here!

(I also did get the rest of my exhibition merch in the past month, and have just gotten around to unboxing it and putting them on my shelves! ahah Our dorks in their tiny-kun outfits are too adorable, eeeek!)

I had to take a sneak peek during my lunch break, and without giving too much away, the chapter is a little 😖😤 at the start, but majority of it is just 😍🥰😘 and then the last page is 🤨!!!!

Gamera : Guardian of the Universe (1995)

A ship carrying plutonium collides with a floating atoll off the eastern coast of the Philippines, one of many incidents occurring throughout the area. As the anomalous formation approaches Japan, a team of scientists led by Naoya Kusanagi (Akira Onodera) discovers an ancient creature.

Meanwhile, ornithologist Mayumi Nagamine (Shinobu Nakayama) investigates a village in the Goto Archipelago reportedly attacked by a "giant bird". While Nagamine is initially skeptical of the claims, she is horrified upon discovering human remains in a giant bird pellet as she explores the island.

It is a matter of time before their path entwined and realised that there is more than one creature on the loose that is heading towards mainland Japan. And one mysterious schoolgirl seems to have a special connection to one of the Kaiju and will decide the fate of the clash of titans.

Like Godzilla, I like the Heisei Era films of Kaiju such as this which adds more realism to it like showing how the Kaiju attack disrupt their daily lives, the financial impact, fish shortages, trying to arrange mass public transports to get everyone out of Tokyo while air travel are being suspended for safety, getting the bill approved for military operations as Japan cannot engage in military offensive unless being attacked (since post World War II).
