Beastboss Fishbonez, Right 'And of Da Loose Kannon

My Orktober project!
A while back my partner had the superb idea of 'Jinx themed Orks' while watching Arcane. Something about the two just seems to gel!
So for Orktober this year I picked up a Beastboss - A sculpt I've adored since the Beast Snaggas were announced - and got to work conjuring up a scheme.
I kept Jinx's blue hair, her split pants and the pastel blues and pinks, and decided on slapping graffiti over all the gear. Not only is this a throwback to her reveal in League of Legends where she vandalised the game's website, it was also an opportunity to try and mimic the visuals in her mental episodes during the show with fluo paint. I'm very happy with the mini overall, as is Roe whom I gifted this to. Whenever she gets round to painting Orks like this herself, I'll have had a little hand in it which is awesome :) Looking forward to more of Da Inx klan eventually!

In this blessed month of Orktober, I gave myself a challenge. To fully paint and finish all of my Ork models.
And I did it.
Behold my labor of the last month!
First is the Goff Rocker. The reason I have orks in the first place. Such a cool model. Also he says trans rights. And his music was electric (love the lightning in the guitar)
He plays his orkish music so loud that the silly humans can't hear the orks coming and are caught unaware. (Gotta love their silly logic)
Then we got Snikrot, the sneakiest git of them all. The big boss of the group. Love his headpiece and the bloodsplatters on his knives.
Then the flash gitz. Orks that are also pirates? Yes please. Sign me the fuck up.
And finally, the models that I bought this month and wasn't sure I'd get to. The deffkoptas. Love the guy smoking a cigar. Love the WAAAGH sign. Lots of fun little things that I love.
Very fun challenge. Definitely feasible but needed effort. I like it. Might do other painting challenges too.
In honor of Orktober; The original Ork Battlewagon from 1990, and the first 40k vehicle kit I ever built and painted.
I added the awning so that I could pile more boys on top of the vehicle, the original rules said that the transport capacity was as many models as the vehicle model could physically carry.
Also, the Blood Axes could have looted Imperial vehicles so here is an orkified artillery piece.
Hi folks! Before going into the photos, I want to give full credit to u/DarksteelPenguin on Reddit for the original idea, I'm just expanding on it:
Not too much to comment on them, I love the idea of adding a balloonisquig as the bombsquig, and the grotshark in just filler with a meme because I originally wanted it to be one of the small Halloween skeleton, but I was out of skeleton heads.I would have given each of them a single photo with some text, but Tumblr has a limit of ten, oh well. And yeah, sculpting greenstuff without specialized equipment is hard.
I did some light modding: turning six sword-only uruk-hai scouts into berserkers (with two-handed swords) and ferals (with two weapons), a banner-uruk (the reverse has scrawlings in cirth that amount to 'middle-finger [at] everyone'), and a drummer and priest of Morgoth.
Conceivably, I could use another banner, but practically, I haven't been able to fit in a second banner in Lurtz's scouts before 800pts, which is well past their peak. Similarly, if I need a Scout Captain, I'll probably grab one of the berserkers.
There's definitely room for expansion on the side of the warriors/siege troops. I don't particular want to get siege engines, but some bombs, ladders, and enough uruks to credibly assail Helm's Deep would not go amiss. Not sure how I want to handle crossbows yet, whether that's bashing some together or biting the bullet and getting official ones... *goes and looks* ...oh they're failcast, to heck with that. Bashing it is!
For the other parts of Isengard: I have warg riders (not quite 400pts; would need a second box to actually field the Legendary Legion), and Dunlanders (about 600pt), but they've yet to be painted. All built, though.
