May I please request headcanons for Naoto, Kanji, and Rise reacting to their American female S/O telling them about her past before moving to Inaba and the things she's seen which has caused her to become desensitized and cynical?

Hiya! It's nice to see you in my inbox again! Sorry for taking so long and here you go, hope you enjoy!

Naoto, Kanji, & Rise with a American female S/O having a dark past

Warnings: mentions of gangs and criminal activity, mentions of food, possible character ooc.

Story type: Fluff, angst, comfort.

Pairings/Characters: Naoto Shirogane, Rise Kujikawa, Kanji Tatsumi

Kanji

Though Kanji has a affiliation with taking down biker gangs, he's never had to deal with things on your level. He's seen some messed up stuff and criminal activity in the gangs that he's taken down but he still feels the pain and suffering you've went through.

He heavily sympathizes with you and wants to help you heal from the tragic and traumatic events that happened to you, but doesn't exactly know how to approach helping you.

The most he does is silently listen at first, hoping that at least listening would help take some weight off of your shoulders. Comforting in a normal way isn't really his forte. The thing he will let you do is ramble away about your sorrows.

"I'll be straightforward.. i'm not good at comforting. But, please share your worries with me." He would say as he put his hand on your shoulder, trying his best to show his comfort and concern through his words and actions. Even if he's not good at it.

After letting you let all your worries and pain out, he'll put his good cooking and knitting skills to use. He'll ask you about your comfort foods, make you some tea, and put a blanket over you. Asking you to wait for him for a small amount of time.

Eventually, he comes back with some icecream and some other foods that he thought would be able to comfort you. Along with carrying a small knitted hat. Saying "I'll always be there for you, don't forget that." as he sat down next to you on a couch.

Naoto

Due to her status as a detective even at a young age, Naoto has seen her fair share of troubling things. She's solved many crimes and has seen a lot, but has never lost her sympathy for those horribly affected.

Naoto stays absolutely completely silent while you explain, thoughts racing back and fourth in her head. Now everything made sense to her, why you acted the way you did, and so many more tiny traits she picked up on.

When you're done explaining, no matter if you're straight faced or crying, naoto will gently start rubbing your back. Trying to comfort you in the best way she can. Though she's no good with either words nor physical comfort, she'll be trying her best to help you.

Naoto will sit down with you for hours, letting you vent, rant, and let out anything you need to let out emotionally. Not interrupting you at all, not even to ask any questions she has. Completely prioritizing your feelings and emotions.

After you're done explaining everything, naoto immediately asks you if you need anything. Food, blankets, if you want her to run you a bath, tea, absolutely anything she can do for you, she will do.

"is there anything else you want to talk about? Remember, i'm right here." Naoto would say as she would put a fluffy blanket over your shoulder, ready to stay by your side through anything.

Rise

Living most of her life as an idol and having practically no exposure to any of the crime world unlike the other two, Rise is the most sensitive compared to Naoto and Kanji. She won't exactly know what to say or do at first, for awhile just listening in shock to your explanations.

By the end of your explanations, tears are pouring down rises face as she would rush over and hug you into her arms. Embracing you tightly and basically almost suffocating you.

For as long as it took for the both of you to start calming down more, she continued hugging you, letting you hug back as tightly as you want. If you wanted to hide your face until you stopped crying, that's fine. Just know she's here, she's not leaving.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that, I'm so so sorry." Rise would said as she wiped her tears, then went to wipe yours. Muttering that you shouldn't ever had to go through that.

Whenever you two are more calmed down, Rise will suggest things that will take both of your minds off of it. Like singing, video games, manga, etc. Activities you two wouldn't mind doing together.

If you still want to talk about it though, Rise will nod and let you continue on talking. No matter what suffering you say you've gone through, and no matter what emotions you and Rise struggle through, you two will get through this together.

Persona 4 height headcanons

*this is based on canon, but with some alterations and future height headcanons

(every single member of the investigation team!)

CHIE

the shortest (next to Naoto)

id imagine she used to be tall back when she was a kid, but never really grew after 13, she got EXTREMLY salty about it for a couple years.

she's the type of short to never ask for help with high places, she'd rather climb up like a racoon up a pipe.

this changed after she defeated her shadow and started asking (only) Yukiko for help.

YUKIKO

about 3rd tallest(only like 3 cm taller than Yosuke tho) after Kanji and Yu

she and Chie used to be the same height back in the start of high school, but she shot up during their 2nd year

she developed shrimp posture as she used to subconsciously make her self smaller, but after she got her persona she stands tall and straight(ha!)

she enjoys helping Chie reach tall spaces a little too much

(makes her feel helpful to Chie)

RISE

taller than Chie and Naoto, but still fairly short, about the same height as Teddie

honestly this one is closest to canon

she drapes herself over Naoto a lot, dramatic swooning style

she has the posture and confidence to make her seem larger than she is

TEDDIE

slightly taller then Chie(not by much honestly)

he's a bouncy guy, and a hugger, definitely the type to latch onto people in hugs, Kanji can bearly(HA!) peel him off

he's still got shadow strength, so Yosuke makes him carry the heavier boxes sometimes during Junes restocking, the box ARE half his height though

Naoto (he/they style)

the official shortest member of the team

much like Rise, his posture and stance make them seem taller then they actually are

isn't as annoyed at rise for draping herself all over him as he pretends to be

also like Chie, never asked for help with high areas until their shadow was accepted, now he's more comfortable asking for assistance.

wears heels, but they don't add as much height as he'd hope

Kanji

the tallest member, but he hunches over a lot so he looks closer to the rest of the team then he actually is

once he stopped hunching over, he was a good couple of inches taller then Yu

he helps out the shorter members of the team the most(especially Naoto)

Yosuke

fourth tallest (him and Yukiko and basically the same though)

lanky as hell when he was younger, looks more balanced now

he's mostly legs, explains why he's so clumsy (i relate man)

got EXTREMELY embarrassed the first time kanji helped with a high shelf, and kanji could not understand why he was freaking out so bad over it (cue Chie and Yukiko laughing at him)

got shocked when Yukiko got taller then him, she definitely lords it over his head.

YU

second tallest

id imagine he still scares people (Yosuke) by appearing behind them even with his height (he's a sneaky man)

also helps out the shorter members of the team

his height contributed to his popularity a lot, not like he gets it though even when Yosuke and Rise try to explain it

one time he was complimented on his height in class and it just never stopped after that

he hits his head on doorways a lot :(

got a tiny growth spurt while in Inba, nothing crazy like Yukiko though

if Yukiko wore heels she could be the same height as him, which used to annoy Yosuke a lot( he can also just wear heels but refuses for his 'pride')
