hi dunno if you had this question or not but do u think before jikook become a "thing" vmin and jihope messed around... cos if u ask other blogs they will beat around the bushes but aint nobody actually answering lol im saying this cos vmin are close as jihope hobi was his roomate tho (roomates) i didnt see jimin &hobi dynamic turn around like this until bv in malta or burn the stage..?

anyway it doesnt changr my opinion on jikook im just curious cos it looks like they prob messed around lol and

at some point i think rm had a crush on jimin too thats why sometimes jungkook had ?? a "problem with minimoni " monitoring jikook

Sure, let’s talk abou it.

No, I don’t think JM messed around with any other member in BTS before, during or after JK. Short answer; amongst other factors, one (not the main factor but …) is it would take a person who actually thinks they are desired in such a manner to do so, and quite unfortunately, for the longest time, I do believe JM didn’t believe himself to be said person at all. As for the Long answer, let’s look at each pairing you mentioned, shall we?

Let’s start with giving some context to my thoughts:

Not sure if you read any other of my posts, but I think 2015 was the year JK started “peacocking” so to say, at JM, and through ups and downs it took them 2017/2018 to actually enter a steady relationship and by steady I don’t mean they were in an open relationship prior to this. What I mean is that they both were trying to figure out things like, for example; what they actually were feeling for each other, or would them “being together” actually work, or could they really actually do this., etc, etc etc.

Furthermore, I should add, that I believe JM “taunting” JK with requests of kisses and telling him he liked him and wanted to go out with him etc, as they already had a very good relationship off-camera (as proven by various interviews), was just an also quite naive approached mixing at an attempt to establish a connection with JK on camera, with feelings he still himself hadn’t quite properly acknowledged. In simple words: He was consciously kidding about feelings he subconsciously already had but never really took seriously.

Last but not least, I’m team: JK made the actual first move, which is not to be confused with: he fell first, he fell harder, etc … whatever with all that BS. And yes, people are entitled with their own opinions, but yeah, I didn’t see none of that. I’m talking about moves. If you will, look at it as a chess game, at some point in 2015 JK impulsively/(frustratedly) moved a pawn at a game neither he or JM knew they were playing; and the “game” began.

Ok … now that you have the pretext, let’s go back to our regularly scheduled program of the day:

VMIN: We have a period between 2012 (when JM joined BH) and 2015 where JM supposedly would have had the time to be messing around with Tae. Because after 2015, JK’s not very well structured (lol) plan of action kept JM rather busy (added to the fact that JM was going through personal awakenings of his own). Now this particular friendship during and pre 2015 gave us pearls such as this:

JM and Tae have a very deep, unique and special friendship and like every relationship in the world, context matters, but like every great relationship, theirs, goes beyond that (context). Their context was/is South Korea, being both of the same age bracket (‘95) they had a common ground on which they began to bond, as age is an important factor in SK, but then there was more. For example, they just so happened to fall into the catching up team. One (JM) arrived last in the group, and was playing catch up internally (with the members), the other had been there for a while, but was only revealed after debut, so he was playing catch up externally (with fans not knowing about him until debut). And please don’t think that one is harder than the other, particularly not on the scale of things they were in.

And there were their personalities. What were the chances that two young men, so different in thoughts and actions could be so compatible in soul/Seoul? Tae standing up for JM at school, JM playing along with Tae’s acting passion, them allowing themselves to be vulnerable with each other. Making mistakes with each other. Taking the time to make it right with each other. We are never going to know how deep this connection goes between the two of them. And here is where you might think: “I’d want to give it a go romantically with such a connection!”. I’d want to as well, NGL, if only I had realised it and if my preferences were also so inclined.

But here’s what I think happened/ was(is) the situation:

1. Tae, out of all the members was/is the one member, who knew/knows exactly who he is. And I can’t assume people’s sexualities, but, in MY opinion, from what I’ve seen, I feel like he is a very big ally, but straight (or at the very least queer-curious? Those that even exist?). I think Tae is very secure in his skin and loves to test his limits constantly and not because it is fun to do, but because he can and it would possibly allow him to maybe gain something from doing so. Most likely, all the time spent being a secret member, also gave him the time to think about how he wanted to be perceived, which also eventually would have ended up affecting everything else positively or negatively. So when it came to JM, someone he started to feel really close to, he let his guard down, completely. So much so that sometimes he just would almost test him, or throw at him anything that he came across in his mind, just to see how far their relationship could go? And, even if at some point he did think to maybe try and give it a go romantically, the next point came up.

2. JM wasn’t up for it. Not in a mean way or dismissive way, not at all; you really got to care a lot about someone to end up fighting and being emotionally-drunk over fucking dumplings. Let that sink in. Another thing that needs to sink in is that JM does, and will do, what he feels and what he wants. Always (Ironically enough, so will Tae, another thing they have in common). At the time, JM was the last member to join, he was struggling with his identity, he was publicly struggling with JK (not irrelevant) and who knows what more. So his brain had to somehow work with processes of elimination to keep sane and in my opinion, if ever Tae made a move, it was shut down, because JM also needed friends. Friends are always needed. Friends are important, have them if you can. And I do think that Tae was friendzoned, early on, because he was a good friend at that. Tae was his ‘95 buddy, his “we are kinda going through the same shit” buddy, his let’s conquer the musical world together buddy. But all was very platonic, because, even though the subconscious may not be out there; it is there and JK was in it.

JIHOPE: Jung Hoseok. The worlds’ brightest ray of light with a powerful little cloud hidden at the corner of his caring soul. In a way, just like JM a troubled soul (like every member really … like everyone on this planet really!). But Hobi and JM had something else to bond over first and foremost: DANCE. That probably started the conversation with the two of them but then there was fashion, shopping, laughing at dumb stuff, the aching need to become the best version of oneself, the natural want to find and provide comfort to those who needed it the most.

Hobi and JM connected on a nurturing level. One thing I feel strongly about, is that Hobi never had any sort of romantic thoughts towards any of the members in BTS and perhaps a part of JM picked up on that and allowed him to feel “secure”. Secure in the sense where he knew that every touch, every hug, every kiss (we are talking of friendly pecks) was out of caring love, and had no chance of being misinterpreted, ever. Reason why I think JM had singled out Hobi as the mother of the group at the very beginning, but now I do believe that Hobi is kinda like that caring brother, who would do anything to support his brothers.

Also, something that people seem to either not think about, or just really underestimate is that Hobi was spending quite a lot of time with JK as well. 3J get along, not only because they are good dancers. I’ve always felt that out of all the hyungs, Hobi was the one that truly treated JK like an actual little brother, allowing him to pester him, and not in the same way he did with Jin. Jin mentally also becomes a maknae (or even younger, lol) when he gets into it. Hobi just had that big brother vibe doting on a cute little brother, something that JM has tried as well, but was never quite like Hobi.

Another thing that Hobi does a lot is observe, he is a quick learner, he observes and quickly puts in practice. I can guarantee you there was a lot of that while he was hanging out with Jikook and part of me thinks that at some point, he observed and put in practice by questioning JM. Hobi has this way of nonchalantly bringing up pertaining/delicate points in any situation, without making a big deal out of it. This might have eventually made him become someone who JM could confide in and talk to about things he didn’t necessarily know how to with others.

And last ..

JK and MINIMONI: I’ve actually quite recently written about Minimoni, so please do read this if you would → CORONA BOREALIS - 1: The Emphat & The Intellectual - MiniMoni. Upon reading that (if you do) you’ll see why I think, neither ever had feelings for each other. So, no Joon never had a crush on JM. Now because of another very long ask (sent to me now an eternity ago), I just so happen to have to write about NamKook, so look out for it, it’s going to be called → CORONA BOREALIS - 2: WonderBoy & The Wanderer - NamKook, should be coming out pretty soon.

But to answer your question, I don’t think JK has ever had a problem with RM monitoring them (neither did JM), I think he’d probably understand that Namjoon would have no other choice but to do so on occasion, particularly if things seemed like they were getting out of hand. If anything, at the very beginning JK has had moments in which he seemed uncomfortable with MiniMoni’s interactions, which was probably caused by unintelligible fears and projections, (which were directed at JM rather than RM) and as humans who have lived on this planet we all know a little bit about this don’t we? … But JK’s possible insecurities are a whole other story, isn’t it?

Currently, I think JK appreciates Namjoon’s presence more than we know, and because he knows him, and knows JM, he most likely understands why and on what level MiniMoni connect. I think that JK has been on a mission, for a while now, to have RM see him as a capable grown ass man, he’d like for the man he admires to look at him and think “yeah, you really do got this, don’t you?” (not that I don’t think Namjoon doesn't already think this of JK), but I also believe that deep down JK just needs someone to keep looking up to and not someone he has to beat, if it makes sense? But I’ll better discuss this in the NamKook post I’m writing.

Well, not sure that I’ve answered your questions but I sure did express my opinions in this long-ass post haven’t I? MY BAD.

Hello Hello! I'm doing so well. Hope you're doing well yourself, anon! Of course I don't mind! Thanks for your request! I did decide to try doing something new here (I've never written overindulgence before.)

I do hope you'll enjoy this! I've had this idea in my head for months now and thought this prompt would be the perfect excuse to finally write it. But if you wanted an illness based fic or aren't into overindulgence, you can request again.

Pairing - JiKook - platonic intentions, but open to interpretation.

Prompt: *wraps arms around belly and starts to cry* "No."

Words: 1947 (Went over my limit for drabbles, oops. I honestly just didn't want to delete any scenes.)

Warnings: Emeto || Overeating/Overindulgence (not gainer/f33dee content) || Graphic Descriptions of Illness || Public Vom!ting

Jungkook doesn’t usually deviate from his meal plans. And if he does, he’ll make up for it with extra exercise. He cares a lot about his health, he does what he needs to do in order to take care of his body. He’s proud of his physique. He maintains it with rigorous workouts and strict diets. It doesn’t even feel like a chore to him anymore. He loves it, it’s a part of his regular routine.

But he’s not perfect. Like anyone, he gives himself a cheat day. It’s rare. And only when he knows he has nothing major coming up on his schedule for at least a week. Because when Jungkook cheats on his diets, he cheats. Fatty meats, fried foods, heavy carbs, and sugary sweets. Anything he can get his hands on that isn’t a vegetable. Anything that isn’t on his meal plan. He fits as much as he can into his stomach in those designated 24 hours. For just one day, he wants to be lazy. He just wants to eat and relax.

Jungkook has just finished licking the remains of fried chicken off his fingertips. Three empty take-out containers sit before him. He leans back in his chair and puts his hands on his bloated stomach, rubbing over the bulging area. He’s on the cusp of feeling uncomfortably full. Just one more bite could send him over the edge. He lets out a string of deep belches as his stomach works to digest. He hopes to make room for a delicious dessert later in the evening.

Hunger effectively quelled, he scrolls through Netflix until he stumbles upon a new show to watch. He decides to just go with whatever’s trending at the moment; he loves to stay relevant. He’s starting the second episode when there’s a knock at his door. Jungkook stands to answer, noting that his stomach still feels heavy. He tries to take a deep breath, but his stomach is still too bloated. It hurts to expand his diaphragm. His efforts leave him belching in an attempt to make room. He shakes it off and cleans up the evidence of his feast. Just because he’s more than earned a cheat day doesn’t mean he wants anyone to know.

It’s Jimin. Jungkook looks at him with curiosity. He’s dressed in shorts and a muscle shirt. He’s dripping with sweat and panting as he stands in the doorway. “Can I come in?” Jimin asks, already sneaking past the maknae and inviting himself inside.

Jungkook rolls his eyes at the smaller member and closes the door, “Sure, hyung, help yourself.” And so Jimin does. He rushes right to Jungkook’s kitchen and pours himself a glass of water, gulping it down greedily. The glass is empty after one go. “Did you forget to bring a water bottle?” Jimin nods, refilling the glass. He works down the second glass, smacking his lips together in satisfaction when it’s empty.

Jungkook chuckles at his hyung, laughing any harder hurts his stomach. He goes back to the couch to resume his show. He expects Jimin to leave now that he’s hydrated. But Jimin washes the glass and sets it on the drying rack before wandering over to Jungkook. He grabs a banana on the way. “I’ve seen this. Want me to tell you how it ends?” Jimin chuckles, sitting down beside the younger member.

“Absolutely not.” Jungkook sounds offended at the very idea. He keeps his attention on the TV.

“Want to come run with me? I only have 5 more kilometers.” Jimin asks cutely, draping himself around Jungkook.

Jungkook’s lip tugs in disgust. He can’t even fathom the thought of running. Just walking to and from the front door made him feel nauseous. He shakes his head, “Not today, hyung. I’m not in the mood.”

“What’s this?” Jimin picks his head up, “Our muscle bunny doesn’t want to work out?” he teases.

He doesn’t want Jimin to know he’s feeling nauseous. He doesn’t want Jimin to know how much he ate. He doesn’t want Jimin to know anything’s wrong. So he quickly fabricates a lie, “I already worked out this morning.”

Jimin doesn’t want to finish the run himself. He gets bored running alone. He gets bored doing most things alone. So if he has to light a fire under Jungkook to get the company, then he will. “You scared I might be faster than you now?” he continues to tease.

Of course Jimin’s comment ignites Jungkook’s competitive nature. If he doesn’t go, Jimin will start telling the others that Jungkook was too scared to race him. He can’t have rumors like that running around. He hates losing more than he feels nauseous. Jungkook groans, “Alright, I’ll go running with you. Let me get changed.” Jimin immediately leans off Jungkook in victory.

Jungkook trudges to his room. He knows he’s going to regret this, but it’ll be worth it to leave Jimin in the dust. He takes off his shirt and looks at himself in the mirror. His stomach is still bloated, a noticeable curve from his otherwise chiseled physique. He rubs it; it’s still hard as a rock. He decides to wear an oversized t-shirt, so Jimin won’t notice, and his loosest pair of basketball shorts. When he bends at the waist to tie his shoes, his stomach gurgles. He knows it’s not a good sign. It’s going to feel like the longest 5k he’s ever run in his life.

Jimin’s waiting for him to leave, this time with two water bottles in his hands. He tosses one to Jungkook when they head out. Once they’re on the trail, Jimin starts off with a jog. Jungkook’s able to keep up for a while. He grimaces at the cramps forming in his stomach, but they’re all concealed behind his mask. The running shifts the contents of Jungkook’s stomach. He has to keep his mouth closed to prevent any belches from slipping out. He catches them all in his throat and swallows them.

Surprisingly, Jungkook makes it a full kilometer before he’s certain he’s going to vomit. His stomach is bubbling with rage inside of him. Every stride he makes sends sharp cramps throughout his entire middle. Jimin’s gotten ahead of him now yet he can’t bring himself to care. He’s hiccuping and burping more frequently, sometimes bringing up liquid with them that he quickly swallows back down.

He has to stop. He eyes a public trash can a few meters away and wills himself just that far. If he’s going to vomit publicly, he can at least make sure it lands in a garbage bin. He stands beside the bin in anticipation.

“What’s the matter, Kook-ah. Can’t keep up?” Jimin muses. He twists his neck to see Jungkook halted beside the trash. He’s hunched over, his mask pulled down and mouth hanging over opening. Even from several meters away, Jimin can see he’s looking positively green. He turns back and sprints toward his friend. “Jungkook-ah. Are you okay?” He asks, despite it being a stupid question.

Jungkook clutches his aching stomach and tears spill from his eyes. He can’t control them. “No!” His whining cuts through a sob. He knew this was a bad idea. He hates being sick. God, what if someone recognizes him while he’s spewing his guts into a public bin. The media would have a field day.

Hiccuping sobs trigger gagging. The gagging triggers retching. And the retching triggers heaving. Painful, productive, violent heaving. Thick streams of undigested food and stomach acid erupt from Jungkook’s mouth. Sheer volume doesn’t fit in his mouth and some comes out his nostrils. It burns. The waves are so large, they almost don’t make it into the opening of the bin. But he’s trying his best to avoid making any mess.

Jimin’s reactions are instinctual. He does his best to shield the maknae from the public eye. He then pulls Jungkook long strands of hair back to prevent them from getting caught in the crossfires. He’s amazed, to be honest, how much Jungkook forces out. 10 heaves in and he’s still going strong, no sign of relenting any time soon. “Hey, hey. You’ll be okay. Get it all out.” Jimin encourages gently, although it doesn’t seem like Jungkook’s having any trouble with that.

He’s struggling to breathe. The vomiting isn’t sparing a second to catch his breath. He can’t even take a breath through his nose because it’s filled with vomit. While in the throes of misery, he swears to himself that he will never overeat again. At this moment, he truly doubts he’ll ever want to eat again at all. He never wants to feel this gross ever again. His only solace is that he knows once he empties his stomach, he’ll feel better. But he wonders how long that will take.

He’s thankful he has Jimin there with him. His touches help to ground him, keeping him from passing out. But he recognizes he wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place if it weren’t for Jimin. Maybe he holds a small grudge about it.

It’s 12 long minutes of projectile vomiting before Jungkook can finally take a decent breath. And once he gets one, he greedily goes back for more. He’s panting hard; much too hard for only running one kilometer. Once he’s sure he’s empty, he lifts his head. Jimin coos, the maknae’s face is a mess with tears, snot, sweat and vomit. The older one opens his water bottle and encourages Jungkook to rinse his mouth. Jungkook does.

“You could have just told me you were sick. I wouldn’t have made you come.” Jimin sounds apologetic as he check’s Jungkook’s forehead for a fever. Jungkook drops the grudge. Afterall, his own competitiveness lured him into Jimin’s teasing. And it was only a problem because he overate. He’s really got no one to blame but himself.

“I’m not sick,” Jungkook explains. His voice is barely there, strained from the effort of vomiting. He takes a small sip of water to coat his sore throat. Jimin looks at him, unconvinced. Jungkook pulls off his t-shirt and pours the contents of his water bottle on the shirt. He uses it to wipe off his face.

Jimin eyes Jungkook’s torso, noticing the bump that was once Jungkook’s flat stomach. It’s still swollen, despite how much Jungkook’s thrown up. “Jesus, Kook. How much did you eat today?” Jimin asks, starting to make sense of the situation. He presses a hand to Jungkook’s stomach. It still feels hard.

“Too much.” Jungkook admits. He hiccups when Jimin applies a light amount of pressure. He fears he hasn’t seen the end of his meals yet. He just wants to be back in his own apartment to feel miserable in peace. “You finish your run, hyung. I’m gonna go home.”

Jimin follows him home, afraid that Jungkook’s stomach might start up again on the way back. Jungkook expects Jimin to leave once he’s inside, but his hyung stays. He eyes the blonde vocalist as he sits back on the couch. He’s afraid he’s going to get lectured for overeating, or not following his diet plan.

But instead, Jimin sits beside him and slips his hand under Jungkook’s shirt. “Want me to rub your tummy?” Jimin asks even though he’s already doing it. “It might help you feel better.” Jungkook just melts under his hyungs touch. Jimin’s small fingers move in comforting patterns along his aching tummy. He’s so entranced by the touch, he doesn’t even realize he’s caught a case of hiccups until Jimin starts laughing at him. “Sounds like you really overdid it, Kook.”

Jungkook nods, “It was ch-cheat day.”

It’s also so incredibly hot. He sits up, face raw from where it had been pressed against his countertop (is it his? It’s wrong, polished wood instead of the faux marble in his kitchen) and blinks hard waiting for them to moisturize themself, because they’re dry, and everything’s dry, and he’s so confused. “Good afternoon, sunshine,” a man's voice comes from beside him and Taehyung falls off the chair he’s sitting on with a shriek. The man laughs, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to frighten you. You alright?” “What are you,” Taehyung’s voice sticks in his dry throat, and his eyes flick around the room he’s in. It’s a bar of some kind, dusty and without proper lighting, a large chandelier hanging overhead with multiple candles. The decor is strange, all eerily similar to the photographs he’d seen during his research the night before. The chair he’d fallen out of is a thin barstool against the large wooden bar. There’s a staircase behind the bar, and a door leading to a room just behind the bar as well. Instead of the accusing question he was going to ask, he furrows his brows, “What am I doing here?” Taehyung gets a proper look at the man standing behind the bar. He looks about Taehyung’s age, with short black hair and a bit of stubble. He’s wearing an outfit that blends with the decoration of the bar, the only thing missing from his ‘cowboy outfit’ is a hat, though he sees a coat hanger nearby with a few Western hats on it that could easily belong to him. He’s smiling but there’s concern in his eyes, “You wandered in sometime last night and passed out at the bar. It’s happened before, so I didn’t question it but if you were so drunk that you don’t remember it that’s a bit… disconcerting.” “I didn’t drink last night,” Taehyung mutters, and he’s not sure if he’s telling the bartender or himself. He stands up on shaky legs, propping himself up on the bar. Maybe he did drink last night and just doesn’t remember it? He feels very out of it, his brain is buzzing and he can’t recall how he got there at all. The man just makes a small sound in response, turning his back to Taehyung to get something from the drink shelf, “You look like you could use some water,” he turns back and slides a glass towards Taehyung which he takes gratefully, only faltering for a moment before downing all the water in one go. It’s not particularly cold, but it’s cool enough to soothe his burning throat. “Thank you…” he trails off, quirking an eyebrow up at the young man in front of him. He grins. “Jimin. Jimin Park.” “Thank you, Jimin,” Taehyung smiles. “Do I get to know your name too?” “Oh! Right, of course,” he brushes his hands off on his shirt and extends his right one, “My name's Taehyung Kim. It’s nice to meet you.” Jimin takes his hand and shakes it firmly, “Pleasure is all mine, Taehyung,” when he releases Taehyung’s hand he eyes him up and down like he’s only just now taking in his appearance, “You talk funny, you’re not from around here, are you?” Taehyung flushes, always a little embarrassed when someone brings up his New York accent. He’s been told he has a heavy one, even compared to other Yorkies. “That depends,” he responds. “Where is ‘around here’?” “How much did you drink?” Jimin laughs. “It’s ‘Park & Min,’ best saloon in Arizona, if I do say so myself,” he winks and Taehyung’s stomach drops, face paling.“Arizona?” he repeats, voice hoarse. Jimin’s expression drops.“Yeah?” Taehyung swallows hard, nails digging into his palm, “Do you have a newspaper, Jimin?” Jimin gives him a questioning look but pulls a paper from underneath the counter anyway, “It’s yesterday’s,” he tells him, tossing it onto the counter. The Increase of Secret Jikooker's?

Rose is a Karmy from 2019 who gave brilliant insights into Jikook from kside’s point of view. During one of her Periscope Lives, she admitted that there are more Jikooker’s out there than we know of. However, they are scared of blacklash to embrace our part of the fandom. Especially with their main accounts publically. Therefore, they talk more privately. Ever since, I was intrigued by the idea of there being more Jikooker’s out there than we know of and it’s something that I’ve seen more over the years.

A good friend of mine used to run a Hobi account. Though they went on “rest” during the pandemic and we haven't spoken since. You wouldn’t know it by their posts, but they were actually a Jikooker behind the scenes. I understood and respected their decision to keep things strictly related to their account on Timeline though, so we just gushed about Jikook in the DM’s instead. One day, they accidentally retweeted one of my threads on their main account. They were really worried about the reaction they would get, but overall the response was positive. It was a surprise and it actually encouraged them to post a bit more about Jikook every now and then.

Whilst taking screenshots for the Live Reactions series, I will often see conversations between Army who strictly keep their accounts a certain way. Not an ounce of Jikookery, but they clearly know their stuff and are passionate about them. There’s been times I’ve wanted to quote them hyping up certain moments, because it's just so sweet to witness these conversations between them. However, I’m aware that they would want to keep their conversations to themselves. They wouldn't want them to be broadcasted. It’s also why I don’t include any usernames in the screenshots taken, just to keep them safe. Something else to note is that the majority of screenshots taken for the Live Reactions series, aren't from Jikook signposted accounts themselves.

I always encourage talking about Jikook, either publicly or privately. This is because I wish for them to be remembered well, as it's what they deserve. I understand that some are turned off by all the “shipping fights.'' But, if given the chance, they do enjoy these type of conversations. It also helps to show Jikook’s bond beyond our own audience. There are plenty out there that recognize how close they are, they just might have a smaller following that gets drowned out by all the hate. You can also tell when those with a bigger following are somewhat secret Jikooker’s.

At the end of the day, there are those out there that see something close between Jikook. Either romantically or platonically. Not everyone knows a person's thoughts behind the screen and not everyone feels confident enough to post things online publically about them. Personally I will continue to keep posting about them, so that anyone can see their moments together. This might spark an interest of Jikook in someone. You never know who could be reading your words about Jikook and learning more about their bond by doing so.

Today’s delulu thought is that Standing Next to You has too many lyrical coincidences to not be about Jimin.

I mean we know it wasn’t written by Jung Kook but obviously the version he recorded was arranged with and for JK, and “leave your body golden” can’t be a coincidence right? Like it’s the whole ass album name, plus a word that carries connotations of JK himself, which the ppl who worked with him on Seven must have known.

So if that wasn’t a coincidence… then what about:

1. “How we left and right is something we control” — a callback to both Left and Right by CP feat JK, but also a nod to Butter, a massive BTS hit and a song that he performs alongside his boyfie bestie JM.

2. “When it’s deep like DNA, something they can’t take away” — a callback to another massive BTS hit, interesting. And *delulu warning* also reminds me of JM and JK’s extreme similarities that they themselves have referred to before?? They’re wired the same, they have the same sense of humor, they live and breathe for the same shit and even though they have some very key differences, they really do seem like twin flames (even if you just see it as platonic). They are similar in ways that seem braided into the fibers of their being. Like, in their DNA 🧬 some may say. *delulu warning #2* I’m also reminded of Jimin’s Letter lyrics: “After all this time has passed will we still be the same? Just like we were when we first met.”

Also, “something they can’t take away” is an interesting turn of phrase… more on that later.

3. Okay the real meaty part:

First off, again with the Letter lyrics mirrored here with the “test of time.” Then it’s got all this drama about being ripped apart and how it won’t happen and how they’ll be next to each other no matter what and that they have “something they can’t take away.”

Not only does all that line up with other Letter lyrics, but it is so goddamn dramatic and for what?

Be for real, what straight couple in this day and age would have this much working against them?? The only possible explanations are: 1) within the fantasy world of a song I suppose this could be some sort of Romeo and Juliet/West Side Story motif, and to be fair the music video did have a kind of rival gang/crime family look to it? Sort of? With the men fighting below the stage? Idk. Or it could be 2) the fact that idols do in fact often have to hide even their straight relationships, which is wild to me. But I know it’s a thing, so. I suppose there’s that. JK doesn’t seem the type though honestly. I think he’d be even more open about it than V.

On the other hand, the lyrics seem SO fit for a couple who are a) queer, b) closeted, c) currently in/about to be in a legislatively homophobic military and country (am I saying that right? Lol) and d) internationally famous pop idols in the SAME BAND who are both widely regarded as heterosexual sex symbols and would be shunned by many people in their homeland AND internationally if their queerness were to be revealed, much less if they were truly an item and THAT news broke.

Whew. That was a lot but like… that would be a real example of a relationship that would be VERY threatened by outside forces plotting against them and trying to separate them. Not JK and a hot blonde model, not him and a Korean actress, not basically any other scenario but a queer relationship.

Idk I know he didn’t write it but like ??? What the hell is that theme? I’m dying to get inside the mind of the people who DID write it, because are they or are they jikookers at this point like?!

4. Just for fun I’ll also point out the “leave your body golden like the sun and moon” 😏 like. Okay. At this point the songwriters are watching Jikook compilations, drooling over @slaaverin edits like convince me they’re not. CONVINCE ME.

5. “Deeper than the rain”?! “The pain”?! Alright I’m not even serious at this point but ??? Rainy day fight 🌧️?!?! 🤣🤣

6. “Standing next to you” oh you mean like… for 18 months? In a companion enlistment program? Like that?

Alright alright I’m done but you get my point. What even is this song if not an anthem of jikookery?! It’s more on-the-nose than Letter, more sneaky than Still With You. It wasn’t written by JK but at this point I’m calling that the songwriters are as delulu as me.

At this point, Army HAS to see that Jikook are 100% the closest. No shipping required! I really don't care if people think they're together, that's obviously a big jump for some people. I took my sweet time taking that leap myself, because I did -not- ship real people.

But at what point do you see two people who are obsessed with each other and just accept that they do love and adore each other, in whatever way that is for them? Just let these two dudes love each other platonically or not, and be happy for them! They aren't going in alone! They will have their best friend with them during their service time.

Either way, I'm just happy for them.

And also, I'm so excited to see what they've been cooking up. Namjoon and Suga have no chill and just want to spoil it. They've got Army's back lol.

So, I kinda think that Jikook are a thing. Just because there's sth different compared to other relationships in bangtan*.

But to kinda play devil's advocate: I think it's easy to read into stuff and skew the perspective. We as shippers might think that just cause Jikook sometimes do sth they don't with other members that it's a sign of sth romantic, but it could also just be that their friendship grew different from the others.

Them having insane chemistry and different ways of showing their platonic love doesn't make it romantic. We have no clue what actual romantic gestures Jimin or Jungkook would show towards their partners b/c their insane status forbids it. I'm not trying to pretend that there's nothing there like I'm some 20th century history dude pretending queer ppl don't exist, but that it's just not cut n dry.

I want Jikook to be real. But I also want men to have friendships like Jikook have

I just know that that anon is the same person who was camping under two Jikook blogs yesterday and I don't know why y'all even waste your time on them because it's clear as day that they're just a Jungkook solo who's extremely homophobic.

It's okay to think that he's not with Jimin and that he's someone who fools around and has a high body count. Anything is possible. But to double down on the fact that "JK fucks girls" is all I need to know about that person and what their agenda really is. If the point they're trying to make is that it's unlikely for a young, handsome, successful and famous man like him to be in a committed monogamous relationship, then why is their emphasis only on the fact that he's sleeping with women? He LOVES that man. And whether they think it's platonic or romantic, some people have a problem with it. And that's horrible for them because their bond is so rare. It should be celebrated. Even if Jikook are just platonic, have a mutual platonic love, they still sink every ship with their behavior toward each other. This is why OT7 content scares the hell out of everyone cause in a OT7 setting, Jikook WILL and ALWAYS do gravitate toward the other over others the are shipped with. If this was not the case, Jk would not be in Jimin's room over others, when given the opportunity. Even if Jk goes to others rooms for a period of time, he is still spending the majority with Jimin. In LA, Jikook told you they were working out together, eating together, walking together, spending time together in Jimin's room and Tae also confirmed that for you. Then some girl spotted Jikook at the gym at like 2 am and posted receipts. Like in Vegas, Jimin, RM and Suga went out and Vhopekook went out to promote. Had dinner, went to a concert. Yet it was Jk telling you he was in Jimin's room right out of quarantine hugging him and Jikook leaving together from the airport in the same car after their vegas trip and Jimin posted that Jikook selfie from their car, laughing at you all. They carve out time with others, but at the end of the day, they are going home together.

Jk choosing to spend white day, silver day, Chuseok and valentines, several times together with JIMIN, over Tae or whatever flavor of the month you have him paired with. Does it get more clear? Even if Jikook are friends, Jk is certainly putting himself wherever Jimin is on those holidays. How can you argue your couple is in a romantic relationship if they don't spend couple days together confirmed? You know you haven't seen TK together on any couple day, ever. How can you, when we see Jk with Jimin? TK were together in korea, when Jimin was out of town and they still weren't together on White Day. Doesn't that say a lot. That Jikook carve out that time to spend those days together CONFIRMED, and only they know why? TK can go bowling on a random day, but skip celebrating holidays together, but spend them with others? Makes no sense. That sounds like friends to me, not a couple. All you have to do is think and it will become clear.

Jikook don't fit the just bros categories- that much they know cos there's always something sus about them that they can't quantify or classify. That much they admit.

And they can't put them in the dating category too cos that too makes them and everyone uncomfortable either due to homophobia, propriety or both.

~Jikook’s relationship~

Anon, I won’t post other blog’s opinion about jikook’s relationship, but I can give you my own opinion.

I think Jungkook and Jimin are in a longterm committed relationship. Destiny brought them together and they decided to act on their feelings despite being idols in the same group in a homophobic country.

They were the closest duo since Jimin came into Bighit in 2012. They really adored each other. In 2014 their dynamics have changed. From Jimin’s side it’s hard to tell when he started to feel more towards Jungkook, but Jungkook was like an open book. I think after they came back from USA Jungkook slowly started to feel more, but he didn’t even realize it. Only in 2015. Their tension in summer 2015 had to be insane. Jimin’s fainting before concert in August 2015 could be a crucial moment. And November 8th 2015 is definitely the most important date for them, since they always refer to this date. Something big happend on this day. Then in 2016 they were already intimate and in 2017 at Jungkook’s graduation they already looked like official couple.

Even if they were broken up some times for a while or had a break, they didn’t have to be with anyone else. It’s part of their dynamics and they are way too deep into each other.

They aren’t only platonic, because we had a chance to see them being intimate and sexual and referring to sex many times.

Moreover they are part of each others families. Their parents and brothers love them and support them. 🥹

Now it’s 2023, nearly 8 years have past, a lot has happend and they are still here. Still together despite everything.

What is going on with Jimin, Jungkook and Jikook?

Warning: long post

I've been a BTS fan since early 2017. Back in the day, I ran this blog here, analyzing a lot of Jikook moments, but life sort of took over, and I stopped having the time for it. However, I never stopped being a fan and observing BTS and Jikook through the years. There's a lot said and written already about the supposed video of JK, but here are my two cents.

To me, the most logical explanation for that video is that this really is Jungkook. The layout of the apartment matches (yes, even the position of the security system, if you have ever watched JKs lives, you'd know that it actually is at his shoulder height, just like in the video), the dog looks like Bam, the couch is the same and this definitely looks like JK. There's also another video of the man in this apartment, alone, shirtless, and having a whole tattoo sleeve on his right arm just like JK. Obviously, we don't know for sure, but it looks like it's him. People say it was filmed in late Feb, early March, and I agree. JK had the same hair then, the outfits look warm, like winter clothes and not to forget, that when JK was stalked in his gym (late of February) there were a lot of fuss about a girl being there with him, so it all checks out in my book.

Now, what the video shows isn't that scandalous. A boy hugging a girl from behind and them playfighting/tickling each other or whatever. It isn't overly explicit. It could mean a lot of things, but it's clear the people are at the very least physically comfortable with each other. It's a short video. We don't know if they're even alone, but it looks like it. There are a number of possibilities for whom this person is to JK: a long-time girlfriend, a casual hook-up, a one night stand, or just a friend.

We'll probably never know for sure. What we do know is that this is an unacceptable invasion of privacy, and the person who took those videos should be sued for all they are worth. I hope we all agree on that, yes?

Now, if this girl is someone JK is dating/has dated/has slept with, where does that leave his and JM's relationship?

In my eyes, as someone who's observed them for literal years now, there's no way JM and JK have always had a strictly platonic relationship. Too much just doesn't add up. Sure, technically, they could be bestest friends with great chemistry, but as someone who is now 30 years old, I don't think I've seen this type of chemistry between people ever be just platonic. At times, it looked too much like sexual tension for it to easily be dubbed as "friendly".

My theory is this (keep in mind these are still just assumptions):

In 2017-2020, pre-Covid era, JM and JK spent A LOT of time together, basically all of it. BTS were super active, they didn't have any breaks. They were always working. Always on tour and doing smth else. JM and JK were pretty young back then (20-24) and this is typically the time when someone discovers their sexuality and starts experimenting, and I believe that at some point they did this together. They were best friends but also had this weird tension and air around them and I think they could've started a physical relationship back then. The members teasing them hear and there about being a couple, also kind of supports this, though of course, it doesn't prove anything.

Contrary to other people, I don't belive they only just fucked. It's very hard to have sex with someone who you are very close to otherwise, who you love and admire as a person, and not catch romantic feelings for them, so I think they did more than fucking. Whether they had a serious relationship or decided not to label it much, due to MS coming up, the group being in jeopardy or other reasons, I tend to think that other than sex, they also had feelings.

Side note: In any case, they were figuring thinks out about themselves as individuals, as well as a pair. I think maybe this is the time JM realized he is definitely bisexual (which he proudly expressed in his photobook of last year in my opinion). Idk what Jk figured out for himself, if anything.

Anyhow, by 2020‐2021 it seemed they had some sort of agreement about what/who they were to each other. At times they could have been on and off. There might have been other people/partners in-between, but I think they were mainly together by this point. It even looked like they lived together for some time. The fact they always took the same car and they were together on JKs birthday night when they first had number 1 on hot 100 sort of proves it. JM's birthday live in 2021 was also sus af (the way he was blushing while mentioning JK and their whole convos, very sus).

I think before Covid they had smth somewhat stable but then Covid hit. Their schedules changed, it was a tough period overall. Suddenly, they were not working and traveling so much, they were staying in SK. I think this was the time things started getting much more real and different. MS was also in the near horizon. Maybe one of them wanted a more committed relationship, and the other wasn't ready. Maybe they were both afraid. Maybe they tried and it didn't really work out. Maybe one finally realized his sexuality and the other had doubs. Whatever it was, the feelings of affection were still there. Chemistry as well. Proof: JM bday live in 2021 was just crazy, the way he blushed when JK was mentioned and the way the spoke to each other... man. Also, the way the were at PTD L.A. The way JK answered questions about JM etc.

So , all that connected them as people was still there, but I think their relationship come late 2021-early 2022 was definitely more unstable. Who knows what happened then. Personally, I don't believe in the theory that they opened their relationship, rather I believe by the second half of 2022, due to whatever reasons, things were simple mostly off between them. I believe they stayed this way all through the second half of the year and at least the first 4 months of 2023. They were friends, their families still loved and supported each other (JK's mom made seaweed soup for JM's bday, which one does for family) but that's about it. They weren't living together anymore, as well.

The beginning of 2023 we saw a very busy JM and a very not busy JK. Sure, they still commented on their welives but it seemed they didn't meet each other that often. Jm was working, JK was at home and occasionally with Tae. Yeah, JK watched a lot of JM content and often invited him over, but he also didn't know when his promotions will be over and it seemed they haven't seen each other for some time and JK was missing JM. I think if they truly were a serious couple back then, they would still have found the time to meet each other no matter how busy one or the other was, especially considering they live in the same city, and it wasnt the case. I don't think JK would have to resort to watching hours of JM's content just to satisfy his need-for-JM thirst, if they were a couple back then.

So, yeah, I think they were not more than friends by this point, for sure, which also ties up pretty well with the timing of the recent leaked video (February-March). To me it seems that JK and JM probably saw other people in that period, at least JK, JM was pretty damn busy then. Maybe they had some serious partners even, maybe just hook-ups here and there. Maybe this was JK's time to explore more of his heterosexual side, who knows. I don't think he stopped caring for JM in some capacity. In fact it kind of looked like he longed for his company but for one reason or another, they were simply not that much in each other's lives in the first quarter of 2023.

But then something weird happened around June-July. First JM is all scratched up from something (presumably Bam) indicating he saw JK and spent time with him. Then Seven came out and JM flew to NY. There they spend a long, fun weekend amid promotions. It wasn't a secret but they seemed to want to keep private and didn't really want to talk about it , judging by the way JK answered the question about JM being in NY as well. JM was practically silent. Then they returned and that welive happened. The one where they openly flirted, JM said he could handle JK naked, JK blushed like a school girl and tried everything in his power to get to JM but JM said "I'm not that easy". That welive. Idk about you, but that welive didn't seem platonic to me at all and if I had been JK's partner at the time, I would definitely be very angry with his behaviour. I don't think JK is disrespectful and a cheater, and neither is JM for that matter, so I believe there's no way any of them had a partner when that welive happened. I simply refuse to belive they are that type of people.

So, my conclusion is they were both single then and something definitely happend in July and NY. They returned somewhat different and they still kind of are. Jk posted pics of NY to Twitter for the first time. Jm shared a pic from then for JKs bday (shirtless, as we all know) and then recently another pic from a boat that could have been from back then, as well. The whole way they're acting offline and online strangely reminds me a lot of the time after their trip to Tokyo, actually. The way JM has been posting about JK very much give me nostalgia about the way he used to post Jikook often in 2017-2018 before he withdrew from social media. But maybe that's just me 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, to finish this long post I will say this. I don't know what Jikook were and are to each other and unless, it is explicitly denied the person in the video is JK, I will believe that it's him. But also, unless it is confirmed he currently has a girlfriend, I will have my doubts. The video is old and in any case, it doesn't prove much other than the fact JK is maybe into women (solely or also into them). This video though doesn't automatically negate everything I've seen between Jikook through the years. In some ways, it confirms what I've been thinking for a long time now. Unless JM and JK personally shut down any rumors about them and deny any romantic connection or confirm a relationship with someone else , I still believe that at some point in their lived their relationship crossed the platonic line.

Whether that was in the past or is currently true, I only can guess, but to me there's no way these two were always, all these years, just only friends.

For now, I will observe how JK, JM and Hybe are acting after the leaked videos and go from there. It will also be indicative.
