I saw the fanart of Sailor Moon in Armor made by you and that got me thinking.
What shows do you know of that would benefit by having the female characters redesigned to be armored up like this?
Hmm, I don't know if any would benefit from armoured redesigns, since generally the shows/games I like already have such strong character design!
I keep coming back to drawing armoured Sailor Moon because she has such strong Paladin/Cleric vibes, and I imagine a more mature fantasy version of her would totally rock the shining knight in armor archetype. Incidentally, here's Sailor Jupiter in Ancient Greek inspired armour!
Armoured Zelda was inspired by the priestess-type vibes Zelda has in Twilight Princess. In all of the LoZ games, she has the role of magical priestess, but I don't think that should preclude her from fighting! So I was really inspired by a King Arthur type of pious warrior king design for her, where she can actually go out and physically fight.
Armoured Peach definitely is as a reaction to her being literally THE archetypal rescued-Princess, and honestly, her character shapes translate fantastically to armour anyway (imo).
But back to the question! The list of femme armour sets I wanna get around to drawing eventually includes:
Anthy and Utena
Sailor Saturn
Madoka (PMMM)
Elsa (yeah, from Frozen lol)

For those of you who were curious about the Homura earrings I got a few months back, the jewelry line they're from is releasing a new PMMM collection next month, and this time it's an official collab! I'm personally hoping they bring back or redesign the Grief Seed pendant from their original collection, as it's one of my dream items.
Also, I applied to be a brand ambassador for this new line! I don't have many followers on my IRL socials, but the owners said I could still feel free to apply as a Madoka blogger! On the off chance I get selected, I'll let you know!

I don't think I ever shared my PMMM self insert redesign on their own!
This is a much more suitable design for who I am, and the weapon is something I feel like I'm more fit to use (rock candy baseball bat rather than a gun). I also added my bracelets I constantly wear and my necklace with my grandmother's thumbprint on it, as well as the Starry Night element (which my user is based off of with my last name).
This design is just so very much me and I feel like it couldn't be more fitting

I would sell my soul to Kyubey to see a live orchestra performance of tons of PMMM tracks. Preferably the length of an opera.
…oh my god imagine a PMMM opera that uses rearranged music from the original show. Some new tracks sprinkled in to bridge the gaps. I’m usually not a fan of putting lyrics to instrumental music but if it’s operatic it could potentially work quite well.
I’m imagining that instead of going full cosplay, they go with their own aesthetic, because an opera with a woman in a pink wig and a Halloween costume would probably feel a bit tacky in an unanimated medium. Redesign the outfits and aesthetics as if the story was made for the stage first and it’s golden. I’ve seen contemporary takes on classic operas, and since PMMM is in itself a contemporary take on a classic play, I think it could work perfectly.

A redesign of a redesign. That's right! Meet Kuroe v3.0 . To outline the changes I made:
-Incorporated the cross overdesign that was originally at her waist into her neckline. Now she has a sort of sailor collar.
-Added the puzzle piece elements from her transformation. Still don't know what they mean, but they gave my something to bounce off. Her soul gem is now a puzzle piece shape.
-Removed the white accents and replaced them with black and grey. It looks a lot cleaner now.
-managed to keep the pink bits in there by making them a bit more lilac and more evenly balanced across the piece.
- kept the swag design of her skirt cause i liked it, just removed the sheerness (which got negative reviews on Kuroe 2.0) and changed the colours accordingly.
-Simplified her boots.
I hope you like this reimagination of Kuroe and any criticism is welcome!
