Regression- a DCA!Serial Killer AU Drabble
just a slice of something. May or may not become canon.
context: Moon is out shopping to restock for babysitting, Detective is about to play a card game with Sun in his apartment. Secret is also out-
cw: panic attack, breakdown, age regression
Sun hurries over with a deck in his hands, rattling it in its box. The deck was, of course, themed around cats. After scooting the coffee table aside you both sit on the living room rug. You cross your legs while Sun sits on his knees.
"So! What game do you fancy?" Sun asks, tapping the deck in his hand. "Blackjack? Poker?"
You lean back on your hands. "Not much experience with those."
"No? You have an excellent poker face for it." Sun lightly teases as he starts to open the box. You laugh.
"Adult games are boring. Besides, I can play a mean game of Go Fish."
"Go Fish it is, then!"
Sun shakes the box and the deck lands in his hands. He shuffles it briefly in a fluid motion then begins to cut. First you, then himself. As he reaches to give you your fourth card, it slips from his fingers and lands on the floor, exposing the suit. His hand twitches.
"Ah..."
You look to the flipped card, then to Sun, who had gone still, his hand still stretched out. His eyes locked on the card. You knit a brow. "Sun? What's up?"
Your voice seems to snap him out of whatever trance he was in as he blinks and looks to you. He stretches a smile across his face plate. "Ah, it's nothing. Don't wor--"
The remaining deck in his hand suddenly folds and spills onto the floor, covering both his and your stack. Sun makes another noise, this time of what you hear as frustration. You think nothing of it.
"Hey it's okay," you say and straighten. You reach to the fallen cards. "Here, I can--"
"I can do it."
Before you can, Sun's hands cover the cards and he tries pulling them all back towards his spot. You pull your hand back and watch him almost scramble to collect the cards that keep slipping through his fingers. "I can do it, it's fine, I can do it..." he keeps muttering.
The cards now lay messily on the floor in front of him, some of them slightly crinkled and bent from his eagerness to collect them. You watch a hand pick up the first card that had initially fallen, and it trembles between his fingers.
Wait...no, his whole hand is shaking.
You look to him, about to ask if he was alright, when you notice his expression had changed, ready to crumple as he glared tearfully at the card like it was at fault. His shoulders quiver, too.
"Sun?" you ask, now concerned. "Sun, what's wrong?" He doesn't answer, the only reply given is a hiss of air meant to mimic a hitch of breath. You grow more and more worried. What could've set him off? "Maybe we shouldn't play right now--"
"No!"
You jump at the brief shout.
"I-I can play! I-I can..." The card falls to the floor again. He holds his hands out in front of him, shaking and tense. The oil tears fall one by one. "I can do it...! I know I can, I..." He tries scrubbing them away, not bothering if it stained the sleeves of his sweater, but more only appear. His rays rattle and jut in and out.
"I know how to run a stupid library...I-I know how to take care of children...I know how to kill people, so I know how to cut a stupid deck..."
You blink as your worry continues to rise. Where was this coming from? Did someone say something to him?
You inch towards him, slowly reaching a hand towards him. "H-Hey, it's okay, Sun. I know you do. What's wrong, bud? Talk to me, I'm worried."
"I-I'm fine! I'm fine...I-I...c-can..."
Sun's words falter, and he wails. Pitching his head back, his eyes screw shut, sending more oily tears running down his face plate. His rays retract completely, and for a moment with the loud cry his mouth fully opens. He then hunches forward, pressing his face into the floor, arms covering his head. You're bewildered by this, but are far more concerned for your friend.
"Sun!" You put a gentle hand on his shoulder and shake him. You raise your voice in hopes of speaking over his crying. "It's alright! Hey! What's going on? Did something happen at work today?"
You somehow manage to get him to sit up, though he still hunches forward. His face is a mess from the oil, streaming down his cheek and dripping off the tip of his nose. There is a stain on the rug, but that isn't your main focus. Though his mouth had closed again he continues crying. He scrubs at his face with the heels of his palm, and his entire body jolts each time he takes simulated hitch of breath. They sound remarkably like harsh hiccups. Any words he may have spoken come out completely incomprehensible.
Almost like babbling...
The door swings open and you jump, looking up. You're relieved to see Moon standing in the doorway, a spooked and concerned look on his face plate. He drops the shopping bags and makes a b-line for you both, holding onto Sun, who almost immediately latches onto him for dear life. You begin to explain what happened. Moon sighs with a nod, almost like he understood things clearer. He cradles his brother like a mother would a frightened child.
"Give us a moment, please," he requests. "Just in the next room."
You're confused, but you nod and stand up, walking into another room of the apartment to give them space. From a distance, you can hear Moon speak soothingly to Sun until his crying finally stops.
After a while, Moon's voice quietly calls for you, telling you it's alright to come back. You return to the living room and find Moon hunched over the oil stain on the rug, scrubbing it clean. The card deck has been put away and sits on the coffee table. Curled up on the couch you find Sun, a blanket dotted with circus elephants draped over him. A stuffed bear is tucked in his arms. His face is clean, and he appears to be sleeping. One hand presses against his mouth as if he's about to suck his thumb.
Before you can ask what happened, Moon rises to a stand. The stain is gone. He sighs softly, then looks to you. Then to the grocery bags behind you. You look, too. "Help with those," he says in a hushed voice, or more hushed than usual. "I'll explain then."
You nod and the two of you get to work. Carrying the bags to the kitchen, you pull the items out and follow Moon's instructions on where things go. He comments how Sun likes things organized a certain way, how "everything has its place". You find humor in it for a brief second.
"Is he okay?" you ask while putting away juice boxes.
"He's alright," Moon answers, closing a cabinet after stocking it with wipes. He holds onto the cabinet knobs for a moment before sighing and letting them go.
"You must be confused," he says.
"I'm more concerned than anything," you reply.
"Sunny didn't tell you about the day he had, did he?"
"Obviously not." You fold your arms loosely over your chest, glancing to the couch where Sun slept. "He told you, though?"
"He tells me everything," Moon states while digging through another bag. He pulls out a carton of almond milk and stows it into the fridge. He feels your eyes on him as you wait for an explanation. "Sunny had a run-in with a rather...rude visitor at the library today."
"A Karen?"
"Cranked up to 11." You exhale with a shake of your head and wait for him to continue. "Visitor in town, staying for a few weeks. She wanted a certain book, but it was already checked out by someone else. She was adamant there was another copy, said the library's site told her so. Sunny tried to de-escalate things, like he normally does, all while she tears into him. And in front of other children, too. Said how could a robot be terrible at this kind of job."
"She said that?"
Moon nods.
A heat swells in your chest as your eyes fall back on the couch. Thinking back, you recall the things Sun had said before his fit began. Things have been rocky for all three of you lately. This lady was a visitor. She doesn't know this town's secret...
"That explains things, then."
"That isn't all."
You look to Moon, brows knit. "There's more?"
"You saw how he is now, yes? Different compared to how he was before?"
"What are you saying?"
Moon sighs, tossing the empty bags into the recycling bin. "Sometimes," he begins, "when Sunny has a really bad day, it gets to him. The stress can be too much. So, to help with the stress, he..." he pauses, as if thinking of the proper word before finally finding it, "regresses."
"...Regresses?" you parrot back.
Moon nods. He sees your confusion and sighs again, arms folded over his chest, though not in aggravation. "His mind reverts to that of a child. Not like that of a Little from someone with dissociative identity disorder. He is still Sunny. Just...smaller, mentally."
Your brows knit further as you try to follow along with his explanation. You're not sure if this is something you have ever experienced, either personally or from another person, but to see something like this in an animatronic...
"So...to deal with stress..." you slowly explain, going at the pace of your thought process, "he mentally reverts to a child-like state."
"Bingo was his name-o."
You nod, relieved to have that confirmed. You feel a pang in your heart. Sun had tried to hold out, not wanting what happened to ruin your game or for you to worry, right until that fumble with the card became the straw to break the camel's back. Even as he fell apart, he still put you first.
"How long does it last?"
"Varies," Moon says. "Usually, it passes once he's had a nap. Usually." By the brief change in tone, you guess that anything further was worth another separate discussion. "You don't need to worry. He will be fine."
You nod again, then lower your head as you think further on the subject. After a moment, you look back up at Moon.
"Do you...regress, too?" you ask.
Moon doesn't reply, but the expression on his face gives you the answer you seek. Air hisses as he sighs and walks back over to the couch. He kneels in front of Sun's head. You can't see it, but he reaches and pets his brother's head. "You are welcome to stay," he tells you, "or you can go. I understand if this frightens you."
You think for a moment, then approach the couch as well. You peer over the back and down at Sun's sleeping form. He looks so small, curled up. You hesitate to call it cute, giving what drove him to this state in the first place. Carefully, you reach down and touch his cheek. It twitches, but he doesn't stir.
"I'll...hang around a bit," you finally answer. You walk around the couch and crouch next to Moon. "He'll probably ask for me when he wakes up. May as well be here for it. And you can explain to me more about the whole...regression thing."
Moon glances your way and smiles warmly, almost in wordless thanks.

Take a Break, Sun!
Sun is overworking himself, and Moon is not having it. Sun needs a break, and he's going to make sure he takes one. But Moon is left flabbergasted when Sun tells him his plans for his break.
This fanfic was suggested by @todo-simp1384. She helped me out with this fanfic, and I got her approval before uploading it! So I already know she enjoys it. But I hope everyone else does too!
Moon couldn’t believe just how much Sun had been moving around. He would be in one place, then practically teleport across the room to the next place…then he would teleport up to the slide and help a kid slide down, before teleporting to the ballpit to pull a kid out of the ballpit. Though technically it wasn’t teleporting…it certainly felt like teleporting. Because everytime he looked away and looked back at Sun’s previous spot, Sun wouldn’t be there anymore. And then Moon would look somewhere else and see Sun a good 20 feet away from him. How in the hell he was able to do that…he had no idea.
All he knew was that Sun, His brother and business partner in the daycare, was in desperate need of a break. And Moon knew EXACTLY when, and how to do it. He just had to wait patiently for the correct time.
Several hours later:
The last of the kids had left the daycare for the night. Though it was getting dark outside, the daycare was still lit up in its full, blue light-safe, LED lighting. Moon started to walk up to Sun in hopes of setting his plan into motion. “Hey Sun-”
“Can you help me collect the glitter glue?” Sun asked him. Moon was thrown off guard by this request at first. But, like a good brother would, Moon followed his instructions and picked up the nearby glitter glue bottles before carrying the glue bottles back to the correct bin. “There you go, Sun.” Moon told him. “Thanks, Moony!” Sun declared.
“How about-”
“Oh! A child left crayons on the table! Let’s get those collected next.” Sun told him.
Moon, once again, was caught off guard by this instruction. But, like a good brother, Moon collected the crayons And put them back into the correct bin. “Crayons are cleaned up, Sun.” Moon told him.
“Wonderful!” Sun reacted.
“As I was saying-” “Hold on: There’s just one last thing to do.” Sun told him. “Can you help me collect the blue chairs and put them in groups with the tables, please?” Sun asked.
Moon was growing pretty annoyed by this point. He couldn’t even get a sentence in! But alas, like the good brother he was…he collected the chairs and placed two-three chairs at every kids’ table. “All done.” Moon told him.
“Fantastic! We’re all ready for tomorrow!” Sun declared happily. “I cannot wait for the kids to come back!” Sun reacted, looking all starry-eyed.
“Sun…” Moon said, before grabbing his rays and making his brother look him in the eye. “I think you need a break.” Moon told him.
“W-What?” Sun muttered. “But-...but-”
“No buts! You need a long break from everything in the daycare. The children, the clean-up, the lessons, all of it.” Moon told him. “You are going to overdo it one of these days, and end up overheating on the job.” Moon warned. “And you have done that before.” He reminded him.
“Wha- No I haven’t!” Sun argued. “Yes, you have. You just don’t remember.” Moon told him. “They had wiped your memory when you overheated the last time.” Moon told him.
Sun sighed and looked around. “I don’t know what you’re so worried about. I feel fine.” Sun told him.
Moon looked at him with a ‘...really?’ look on his face. “I highly doubt that.” Moon muttered aloud.
Sun smiled and squeezed Moon’s shoulder. “I’m okay. I promise.” Sun told him softly. “I don’t want you to worry about me. I want you to worry about yourself.” Sun told his brother.
Moon stared at Sun for a few moments, before sighing. “Fine…” He said, looking away. “Then you wouldn’t mind if I did THIS!” Moon dove into his brother and started covering his belly with tickles.
“BaHAAA! MOOHOOHOON!” Sun shouted suddenly, doubling over and wiggling around in his grasp. “Wahait NOHOHOOO! Moohoon, dohohohon’t!” Sun ordered.
“Don’t what? Don’t tickle your ticklish little tum-tum?” Moon teased, sneaking a finger right where the belly button should be.
Sun squealed and grabbed his hands with his own, shaking his head as somewhat manic laughter left his speaker. “Moohoohoon, plehehehehease! Dohohon’t sahay ihit like thahahat!” He reacted.
“Aww, can’t handle when I refer to your belly-welly as a little tum-tum?” Moon teased rather evilly. “Ain’t that a shame…” He whispered in an almost unbearably soft voice.
Sun tried to push Moon off him, but it was no use. Moon was equally as strong with him, which made pushing him away somewhat more difficult. On top of that, the exhaustion of helping the kids all day hadn't really gotten to him…that was, until Moon started tickling him senselessly. It was only after that when Sun had REALLY noticed his tiredness.
“Ohokahahay, Ihihi’ll tahahake a breheheheheak! Ihihi prohohohomihihise!” Sun told him.
“Oh you will, will you?” Moon asked with a smirk.
“Yehehehehehes! Ihihihi swehehehehearrrrr!” Sun replied, hoping and praying Moon would stop.
“Well, I’m afraid I’m not convinced enough.” Moon let him know. “Perhaps a few more tickles will convince me?” He offered.
“Cohohome ohohohohon! Whyhyhy dohohon’t yahoo belieheheheve mehehehe?!” Sun asked.
“Because if I can recall…you have told me multiple times in the past that you don’t need breaks.” Moon told him. “And you continued to have that belief…well…until now, that is.” Moon added. “I just want to be extra sure.” Moon admitted with a little wink.
Sun closed his eyes as giggles continued to leave his speaker. “Fihihihine. Juhuhust gohoho eheheasyhy.” Sun ordered.
“Will do, Sunny.” Moon replied.
Moon laid Sun down on the green mat, and got his brother properly comfortable. “One…” He brought his fingers slightly closer. “Twooo…” He brought his fingers mere inches to his sides. “...Three!” Moon touched down his hands and skittered his fingers all over Sun’s sides.
Sun squeaked and threw his big head back with a cackle. “OHO NAHAHAhahaha!” Sun laughed, kicking his feet like a quick little swimmer. “MOOHOOHOONYYY NOHOHOHO!” Sun yelled.
“Oooh, but Moony YES!” Moon declared. “Now tell me exactly what you’ll do on your little break.” Moon ordered him in an unusually calm voice.
Sun struggled to think of activities to do on his break. Cause man…he had so much to do before the kids come over to the daycare again! “Ihihi’m gohohohonnaha…” Sun let out another fit of laughter as he thought for a little bit.
“Hmmm? You’re going to what?” Moon asked in a low, teasy voice.
“Ihihi’m gohohonna gehehehet colohohorihihing pahahages reheheheady fohohor tohohomorrohohohohow!” Sun told him.
Moon rolled his eyes. “That’s still work, Sun.” Moon warned. “Do you even know what a break is?!” Moon asked jokingly. “YEHEHES! IHIHI DOHOHOHOHO!” Sun yelled back. “Try again then. What are you gonna do on your break?” Moon asked.
“Ihihihi’m gohohonna…Ihihi’ll fihihihix thehe tehehelevihihihision!” Sun told him.
Moon shook his head. “Unless you are desperate to watch a movie, we do NOT need you trying to fix the TV. The tech mechanic will do that for you tomorrow.” Moon told him.
“Buhuhuhut- Ihihi wahahahanted to tryhyhyhy!” Sun admitted.
“Well, no trying till the mechanic gets here.” Moon moved his fingers to his ribs. “Try again. What will you do on your break?” Moon asked.
Sun shook his head and started cackling. “Ihihihi’m gohohonna…g-gohohohonna tihihickle you bahahahack!” Sun told him.
Moon blinked and widened his eyes in surprise. He was a little taken aback by this response. “Oh?” He reacted. “You’re gonna…tickle me back on your break?” Moon asked.
“Yehehehes! Ihihi swehehehear byhyhy ihit!” Sun declared. “Ahahahand yohohou cahahahahan’t stohohop meeheeheeheehee!” Sun added.
Despite the words being jumbled up by laughter, Moon could still feel the nervous butterflies starting to fill his artificial abdomen. “Y-...You’re right.” Moon replied. “I can’t stop you.” Moon admitted. “However…” He smirked all over again as he looked up at the rays. “I can do THIS!” Moon blew a big raspberry on one of Suns’ bright yellow rays.
“BahAHAHAHAAAA! MOONYYYY! YAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA! WOOOHEEHEEHEEHEEHEE!” Sun shouted and screamed. His sun rays were the most ticklish spot on his entire body! And Moon KNEW THAT! Why was Moon tickling him THERE OF ALL PLACES?! Wasn’t he supposed to be going easy?!
“My goodness! Such ticklish little ultraviolet rays~” Moon teased as he fluttered his fingers on his fake rays.
Sun jumped and cackled, wiggling his rays in a fruitless attempt to get his rays away from Moon’s evil fingers. “THIHIHIS IHIHIS SOHOHOHOHO CRUHUHUEL!” Sun yelled.
Moon chuckled. “I know…but you can’t deny just how much fun you’re having…” Moon mentioned, fluttering his fingers on the rays above his head.
Sun couldn’t really say no to that. Despite the circumstance that got him into this mess, Sun really was having a lot of fun. His wiggling rays also somewhat hinted at this fact. Sun had a funny little habit where he would wiggle his rays when he was happy or joyful. It was like a funny little stim he had developed overtime. The little kids found it funny and loved to tease him about it. Meanwhile, Moon had found it absolutely adorable. It was an endearing trait that always told Moon he was having fun. “OHOHOKAHAHAY, MAYBEHEHEHE IHIHI AHAHAM…” Sun admitted.
Moon chuckled both teasily, and genuinely. “Your rays tell me everything I need to know.” Moon teased.
Sun’s wiggling rays seemed to kick up a notch after Moon’s little response.
“See? The rays don’t lie.” Moon told him. “They know how much you really love tickles.” Moon mentioned.
If Sun could blush, he probably would’ve at this moment. Even though they were alone, Moon had a strange love for teasing him. Not only that, but Moon was ridiculously good at it! It was so unfair! But at the same time…kinda worth it.
“Maybe if I tickle you long enough, I can convince you to not tickle me back.” Moon said out loud.
Sun giggled and squeezed his eyes shut. Is he serious?! There was no way Moon would convince him to not get him back. “NOHOHO WAHAHAY! IHIHIHI’LL TIHIHICKLE YOHOU BAHAHACK!” Sun swore.
“Suit yourself…” Moon teased before tickling the rays on both sides of his head: Despite what Moon was saying to him, Sun knew that ticklish revenge is inevitable. If you tickle Sun, even a little, he will make sure you get tickled back for at least 5 minutes before returning to his daily routine. And Moon knew this. Was Moon trying desperately to change his mind?
Well sorry, Moon…not happening.
“YOHOHOHOU CAHAHAN’T BREHEHEHEAK MEHEHEHE!” Sun yelled at him.
“Oh really?” Moon reacted with a smirk. “We’ll see how much you can resist when I cover your rays in more of your favorite food:” Moon said before blowing raspberry upon raspberry on his brother’s rays. “Raspberries!”
Sun squealed and cackled super loudly. Raspberries?! Are you KIDDING ME?! How could someone possibly stay stubborn in these overwhelming conditions?! It’s almost criminal how talented Moon has proven to be in making him change his mind.
“OHOHOKAHAHAY! IHIHI GIHIHIVE! MEHERCY, MEHEHEHERRRCYYYY!” Sun shouted.
Moon chuckled. “Are you going to give up your idea of tickling me?” Moon asked.
“YEHEHEHES YEHES IHIHI WIHIHIHILL!” Sun yelled back. “Proooomise?” Moon asked him with an evil smirk on his face as he tickled closer to the bottom of the rays.
“YEHEHES, YEHEHEHEHEHES! PLEHEHEHEASE STOHOHOHOP!” Sun told him.
Moon nodded his head, feeling like he did a job well done. He stopped tickling his brother, and let him lay on the ground to recuperate. “Are you okay?” He asked.
Sun let out a sigh of relief before sitting up. “Y-Yeah…I’m okay.” He replied. “Are you okay?” He asked next.
Moon smiled a bit and hummed. “Yeah. I’m alright.” He admitted.
Sun got up and smiled brightly. “Good.” He said before wiggling his fingers at him. “Because my ticklish revenge will be coming very, very soon~” Sun teased.
Moon widened his eyes and backed up. “S-Sun!? You promised no tickle-backs!” Moon argued.
“I said ‘Yes’...I never said ‘I promise’.” Sun mentioned.
Moon widened his eyes when he slowly realized he had been tricked. “Oh no…” Moon muttered.
“Iiiii’m gonna getcha~” Sun teased, wiggling his fingers at him.
“S-Sun? Ho-hold on…” Moon tried to protest. “Let’s think about this…” Moon offered.
“You are well aware that I had this on my mind since you started the tickle fights.” Sun told him.
“I-I did that because you weren’t taking a break!” Moon argued.
“And I told you, I would tickle you back on my break.” Sun told him back. “And now, it’s my break time!” Sun wiggled his fingers at him deviously. “So tickle-tickle-tickles are coming your waaayy~” Sun teased.
Moon squeaked and did a 180, before taking off running. “NoooOOO!” Moon shouted.
Sun giggled and took off running after Moon. It didn’t take long for Sun to catch his brother mid-jump, and tickle his brother all over the place. He tickled his rib region, his armpits, his feet, and his little neck. It was the greatest break idea ever! He could get revenge, AND make Moony laugh for as long as he wanted! Nothing beat playful times with Moon. Maybe if Moon was willing to be tickled during some of the breaks, Sun would be encouraged to take more breaks.
And if Moon didn’t like that…then…there are always other ways to make Moon laugh.

Don't have your hopes up too soon Moon. We little voices in your heads have another, bigger voice in our heads that can control many universes and I'm sorry to day but... They kinda keep saying that the whole blender fiasco is still going to happen.
I will break that stupid machine more when I get home. Whoever does it won’t even have the chance then. The bigger voice can screw off! -Moon💙

Prompt 87
“Mother, I crave violence.”
Danny paused in the middle of his work, turning off the torch as he turned towards Dan. Who had once again be de-aged for destroying a world a few years before. (Ellie had cackled for hours about her being the older sibling now) The currently-six year old was scowling, definitely not pouting.
He raised an eyebrow, setting his tools down. “Jordan, we’re literally in an assassin’s den right now-” Honestly running into someone he’d met in his time-traveling was rather interesting, apparently his old rival had become so ecto-contaminated that he was immortal now. “-and I know you just got out of sparring, so are you really ‘craving violence’ or are you just bored?”
Dan pouted, sorry, he scowled. Your ‘friend’s’ kids kept tryin’ to copy me and got in the way.” He hopped up onto one of the chairs, visibly not happy about not being able to fly as he glared at tiny legs. Tough shit, he knew better than to destroy worlds, they couldn’t always reverse time.
Danny sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “They’re just trying to play-” Maybe to a human they wouldn’t, but honestly everyone here was so liminal they were probably closer to ghosts than anyone except for Amity. Which had also been displaced in time after getting dragged to the ghost zone, so it had been soaked in ecto longer anyway.
“They got in the way and I almost stabbed Dusan!” Dan whined, despite what he’d insist. “At least Elnath can go intangible and Nyssa can dodge!” Ah, that was the issue. He’d been worried.
“Little sunbeam, you don’t have to worry,” Danny soothed, scooping up the ghostling. Even though he had been an adult, the chemicals in the brain and body were still that of a child’s. A young child at that. “The trainers are there to keep an accident from happening.”
Not to mention that he was rather confident that between Ras and himself they could keep any injuries to minor ones. Sam would have loved to meet him, Danny thinks. Honestly they would have been best friends, but Sam was off on another world on a mission to collect every plant in existence, so good for her, and Tucker was back in the reincarnation cycle.
Oh well, at least he wasn’t waiting for them alone, and maybe Dan having more siblings would help stop another timeline-breaking accident from happening.

What if Eclipse from AP was a naga? And this took place in the deep jungle of the amazon, where photographer y/n is trying to take pictures of the wildlife?
I'm vibrating at the speed of sound over this ask while also nudging my naga au
Naga Eclipse from AP would have the tail of a Green Anaconda, with an olive green scaly color dotted with black, framed by burning-like flares of orange along the length of his slithery body. He's also decorated with orange-yellow striping on either side of his long, slipper form. His upper half is scaley with a lithe deadliness to his musculature and decorated by frills surrounding his head with brighter orange-yellow colors, almost hypnotic in their gradient hues. One eye is deep emerald green, and one is midnight blue.
Lucky you—you're out on a once-in-a-lifetime expedition to explore a jungle closed off to the public, funded by Fazco, and occupied by two researchers who will be your bunkmates for the next few weeks. You're itching to take photos of the large river, including swamps, marshes and streams, and whatever wildlife is out there.
The few locals you did meet before you left to hike the rest of the way to what would be your new, isolated home warned you of a dangerous snake—a large, mythical beast. You take note of the local folklore. You understand the truth is hidden in there somewhere, and you are well aware of the dangers and diseases you could be met with in such a harsh environment, but you're determined.
It doesn't take long for you to feel eyes watching you when you first venture out by yourself. You take beautiful pictures of freshwater fish, big and beautiful, unlike any you have ever seen. Of course, you have hundreds of snapshots of the local flora, the trees, the floating meadows, the thick vines that drape each branch and hang thickly about the ground. You almost forget that you eerily don't feel alone.
But you swear something moves in the water—the ripples stop as soon as you look. The stillness is suddenly stiff, lifeless. Even the birds have stopped chirping.
You lower your camera and carefully put it away. A trickle of fear slips into your heart. You turn away from the river's edge only to be met by a low hiss and a creature, unlike anything you witnessed in your travels, spooling itself neatly out of the water, blocking your path to the base. An incredible creature with long arms and a great, serpentine tail that seems to stretch for yards and yards. You can hardly breathe in his presence—he's otherworldly with his frills and scales and fangs.
His eyes contain a mesmerizing shine as if staring into a fire as it burns or watching the ocean as it laps up against the beach, drawing your attention, demanding you don't look away. You couldn't anyway. Half-frozen, you struggle to keep from collapsing. He beckons with a sharp talon. He hisses softly for you to come closer, mouse. He wants to see you. You try to beg no without revealing how terribly you tremble. He doesn't let you go. He insists. His eyes flash with an allure. You almost step close when he murmurs that you need to be good.
But then your sense of survival kicks adrenaline into your heart, and you turn to run—
He strikes faster than your eyes can follow. Two loops of his green and orange tail surrounded you in an instant. You're dragged to the ground, your arms pinned under his mass, and the back of your head cradled by his large palm as powerful muscles squeeze you in the slightest—a gentle rebuke for thinking you could get away. You're hyper-aware of the terrifying bulk of muscles as you lie trapped in his coils. One strong twist and your eyes could pop out of your skull, and every bone protecting your heart and lungs would crumble to shards. You gasp. An urge to kick your legs and struggle erupts in your panic; a sinking feeling tells you it would only make things worse.
He coos over you, hissing and humming in an ancient song of the jungle you have no name for. When you whimper, he shushes you and strokes your cheek. He tells you how lovely you'll be. When you talk back to him, somehow finding your tongue amid your horror, you find out his name. Eclipse. He moves you more upright, resting you on his tail so you're not petrified by how vulnerable you feel lying down, but he never loosens his scaly bindings. He hovers over you. You gaze into his stunning frills of yellow-orange and wonder how a being like him came to exist. He studies you as you study him. He grins at how you shiver when he traces your collarbone with a sharp fingertip.
You remind yourself that you can still breathe. He hasn't crushed you—yet—but you don't like how wide his smile is. Sometimes, his jaw stretches a little too long as if dislocating from his skull, ready to devour you. His eyes gleam with a ravenousness as scales twist around you, holding you close enough to smell the slick green water he had been in and deep musk.
He tells you that he'll see you again very soon—away from other humans, lest you bring him a fine gift for a meal. You can only flex your fingers, silently pleading in your heart that he won't unhook his jaw and eat you alive.
Then, he unravels himself from your limbs. But before he lets you go entirely, he leans in close, his serpentine tongue flickering close to your neck and by your hair, tasting the air around you as you muster all your strength to not scream. He inhales deeply, pleased, before he murmurs, "Sweet mouse. You are mine. Say it."
You don't understand, but you echo his command, and when he taps your chin once in what might have been a loving gesture, you force your jelly legs to solidify before you run and run, all the way back to base. You slam the door to your room behind you. You touch your ribs, your arms, still caught in the heavy sensation of his loops as if he were upon you right now.
The stories are true—there is a giant snake in this jungle, and he wants you. You're afraid to discover if Eclipse's intrigue with you is only an exotic way to satisfy his hunger.

being a knkdz shipper means initially latching onto them bc of their sun and moon dynamic with dazai as the sun and kunikida as the moon only to realize later on that it's actually the opposite

Oh my god this episode killed me, Bloodmoon went straight for the throat, and poor Sun had a full-blown panic attack and was screaming for help, I feel so bad for him, and the way he was pleading with Moon to not be confined to their room almost felt like he was begging to not be locked away again like what old Moon did, I wanna hug him so bad right now, also YES to protective Moon he's going to go feral on Ruin the next time we see him
YES TO ALL OF THIS!!!!!!
God Sun's panic attack was so real that I started to feel panicky, that's how a lot of my panic attacks are ;-; goddamn, Davis with the performances.
I love love LOVE Moon being caring and protective, helping Sun ground himself with the breathing techniques. And taking what Sun was saying and feeling seriously!!!

Encounter in the moonlight Part one
>
When meeting a feeding and injured old one it is very important to keep calm. Usually Y/N would leave, put up wards and warn the villagers but this one is way too close to the village to keep everyone safe. So communication is the next best thing. Witches usually talk to old ones by entering their domain. A mental conection is formed and the old one and the witch meet on a level playing field, a dimention linked to all old ones. A risky move but a well prepared witch would be able to manouver a negotiation easily... lets see how Y/N does when unexpectedly Moon joins them.... knowing how bad he reacts to the old ones... and how badly they react to him
