The Sun: Tarot XIX Art by Jonathan Love
In Western Hermetic Qabalah, The Sun Tarot Card is assigned the Hebrew letter Resh (Means-Head) and is the letter assigned to the Thoth-ATU 19-The Sun. Hence the Head is seen as the Sun of the Body. It is the Head-Sun that rises above the Earth and the lower animal thoughts of the survival thinking subconscious. --The Tarot of Eli

artbook cipher solved!
HI COE FANS! The artbook comes with a companion book. On it's cover is a warped cipher, and I managed to solve it :D I'll put it under the cut!
I'm gonna call this implied DLC spoilers? I will touch on DLC/interlude things but not in detail.
Other Metas can be found here! As always, feel free to ask me anything!
update: we solved the part we were stuck on here, and I've added the important part to the end of the original post!
I can't actually show you the cipher (we're not supposed to share things from the artbook publicly) BUT I've added a description of the cover!
The art for this page features Seodore smoking, with his gloves removed. The Cipher text is in what looks like a game textbox at the bottom of the page. It has some unencrypted text, the warped cipher, and the final section of the cipher is unwarped!
As with Fukao's other ciphers, it was UTF-8 encoded, but the cipher was REALLLY HARD TO READ (and parts were cut off by the top/bottom of the warped section).
I've typed out the text of the cipher below!
e5ad98e59ca8e38197e381aae38184e38397e383ace382a4e383a4e383bce382ade383a3e383a9e382afe382bfe383bc50484957454853
With a little knowledge on how the encoding works, we were able to end up with this :
存在しないプレイヤーキャラクターPHIWEHS.
The full translation of this text box is below. I've bolded the section that was encrypted, and italicized the part that was warped.
unhandled writing operation has occurred in record __.' 'saving data...' error: player character PHIWEHS does not exist.
ENG TL by @hermitroom !! <3 thank you so much for helping me solve this!!
While the metafiction implications and connections to the overall narrative are pretty clear, I couldn't figure out what PHIWEHS means. We can guess based on the art that it's Seo related (and Seodore being the missing character WOULD be fitting) but so far nothing has given me something fitting
Things I've tried:
googling phiwehs outright (no results orz)
I wasn't able to find any connections to Hermetic Qabalah
it's seven characters long (same length as Gabriel, there are 7 fragments/gifts of god/lights) but nothing i tried relating to an acronym or connection seemed to have any success. I Checked the 'Gifts', the roles of each 'Light', and names.
I thought it might be like the password in ch 7 (STELLA), so i looked up Japanese keyboard layouts and ended up with せくにていくと but... this doesn't mean anything :(
Other ciphers: I don't THINK fukao would make just this section a different cipher but I've been checking and I haven't found anything.
Apparently someone got 05-2019 out of this? but we're not sure how...
So-- this is kind of an open call? if anyone has any information or things to try, please let me know!!
UPDATE. WE FIGURED IT OUT
50484957454853 ISN'T ENCODED IN THE SAME CIPHER. IT'S DECIMAL ENCODED WHICH GAVE US 2019-05.
which means our final result is
unhandled writing operation has occurred in record __.' 'saving data...' error: player character does not exist. 2019-05.
HOLY SHIT

Thank you @becomingapoet for tagging me. 🙏 I've never done anything like this, so it should be fun! 😊
1. Are you named after anyone?
I'm named after two people, actually – my first name is my dad's (Tim/Timothy), and my middle name is my grandfather's (Michael).
2. When was the last time you cried?
Twice this morning. 😆 I'm a super watery person, so it doesn't take a whole lot to move me emotionally lol.
3. Do you have kids?
Not of my own (in the biological sense), but I do have a 12-year-old stepson who lives with my partner and I half the time, and his dad the other half. There aren't really any words I can say that will do him justice, but he's a wonderful guy, and we have a great relationship. He's helped me grow as a person more than pretty much anyone I've ever met.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Not in the traditional sense. My partner and I have a few semi-sarcastic inside jokes between us, but they're really quite light-hearted and silly — they're never at anyone's expense or anything like that. (I'm also on the autism spectrum, so I'm admittedly not very good at detecting sarcasm lol. Sometimes I even have to ask her whether she's joking about something or not.)
5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
I notice different things about people at different times/in different situations, but one of the most common is how they treat others.
6. What’s your eye color?
My eyes are brown, but they also appear green at times.
7. Scary movie or happy ending?
I am a definite lover of happy endings, but I'm also a great lover of the macabre, so that's a tough one. I would say my natural preference for peaceful resolution comes out on top, though.
8. Any special talents?
Other than poetry, I'm pretty good at divination, especially via Tarot, astrology, geomancy, and dream interpretation.
Bonus secret talent — I used to be a decent rapper in my late teens/early 20s, which, in all honesty, is where I got my start in poetry.
9. Where were you born?
I was born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, but I've lived in Niagara Falls for pretty much all my life, other than two brief periods in Toronto and Hamilton.
10. What are your hobbies?
As an autistic person, my "hobbies" are more like all-encompassing obsessions that I can neither live nor function without. 😆
That being said, I spend a great deal of time studying and practicing esoteric traditions like alchemy, astrology, Kabbalah/Qabalah, Tarot, & ritual magic — and my partner Julia and I also do a lot of teaching in this realm through a blog we run called Spiral Sea Tarot.
I also love studying a number of different world religions, comparative mythology, psychology, philosophy, art, & literature.
I am also a great lover of Chinese/Taiwanese tea and tea culture. I'm especially fond of puerh — a post-fermented tea that undergoes a gradual transformation over several years from a vibrant, yellowish brew to a complex, earthy red.
11. Do you have any pets?
We have a highly-strung, but always lovable muted tortie cat named Maeby.
12. What sports do/have you played?
Mostly baseball, but I've played a bit of hockey, football, and volleyball as well.
13. How tall are you?
6'1"
14. Favorite subject in school?
English and Psychology
15. Dream job?
I'd love for my partner and I to be able to do our work together on a larger scale, and in more of a full-time capacity than life currently allows. You can't really beat doing what you love with the person you love doing it with!
I haven't been here long enough to get to know anyone yet, so I tag anyone who is reading this. Thanks for your time! 🙏

Started studying ceremonial magic rituals from the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and Aleister Crowley’s Astrum Argentum and Ordo Templi Orientis . Although I have my feelings about Crowley as a person, He no doubt created brilliant and illuminating occult literature that teaches the Qabalah so well that I must separate the Art from the Artist. Began to record my Gnosis for thy own Order called “ The Qabalistic Templum Atra Flamma “ = The Qabalistic Temple ov the Black Flame. The Black Flame refers to the Qabalah and the Ain Soph Aur : The Limitless Light ov God, Infinite Creative Potential that Exists above Kether And is the internal invisible Etheric flame of light/energy that exists within us all. Also the Torah was allegedly written with black fire. The limitless Light ov God brought into manifestation through Kether That gives Chokmah The Wisdom of Everything and Holds the Science of the Holy Tarot and the Zodiac with all Stars and All Divine Light, blasting into Binah, which gives Form, Time, and Space for the lower 7 Sephiroth to form emanations and Our Multiverse and reality is created. I am becoming a Wizard. 🤣

The Black Flame corresponds the Supernal Triad of Kether-Chokmah-Binah also, with emphasis on Chokmah: Infinite Potential and Super-Consciousness This is my book of shadows that I have titled “ Libre Umbrarum “ In the photographs, I have presented the formulae for the Qabalistic Cross, The Lesser Banishing Ov The Pentagram Ritual, The Lesser Invocation Ov The Hexagram and The Lesser Banishing Ov The Hexagram along with detailed explanation of the Rite Ov The Analysis Ov The Keyword:
Part i: The rest will be in next post🌓⚡️🪐🕍

14 Savvy Ways to Spend Leftover blood magick spells Budget
Performed normally for its symbolic worth (as in a rite), a ritual is an organized development or series of actions and activities tailored towards the achievement of a particular objective in accordance with religious, spiritual, or social custom-mades of the past to the here and now.
What is Spellwork and a Spell?
A spell is a magickal formulary of spoken, composed, or the mentalization of particular words performed with varying degrees of magickal and meditative intent black magick rituals for wealth or function. Frequently, a spell is carried out just as an incantation without being consisted of in a full ritual or ceremony. There are many branches of spells and spellwork varying from healing to enjoy to maleficium (i.e., malevolent sorcery or hexing).
What is Magick?
The term "Magick" is frequently spelled with a "k" in order to differentiate it from the artistic practice of Illusionist, Sleight of Hand, and Parlor Magic for entertainment purposes. Performing Magick is based upon the specialist's capability and "will" to bring about (cause) and affect change in people, places, courses of occasions, scenarios, and physical items through the aspects or elementals (Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Aether or "Light-Bearing or Spirit"), magical (mystickal), paranormal or supernatural (metaphysical) implies. If a specialist is utilizing Ancient Chinese Viewpoint in his or her magickal workings, then she or he will deal with the 5 Components or Wu Xing (i.e., the "5 movements, stages, or steps/stages over elements") of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.
The appropriate working and working out of spells and routines are necessary in any spiritual or divinatory system. Whether it be Low (Folk) Magick, Ceremonial (High or Ritual) Magick, Understanding Magick, or Black Magick (the Dark Arts), all have their own form of and technique to rituals and spellwork. Excellent examples of extremely ceremonial religio-spiritual systems include however are not restricted to: The Craft, Khemeticism and Tameran (Ancient Egyptian religions), Qabalah (Hermetic Kabbalah - distinguishing between Judaic doctrinal and the Hermetic magickal viewpoints), Hoodoo, Freemasonry, Alchemy, Chaos, Vodou (Voodoo), Ayurvedic, Vedic, and numerous other systems that might take part in the practice of spellwork (spell casting), rituals (ritualistic rites), and magick.
A few of the esoteric techniques and tools used within these systems include the elementals, altars, circles, pentagrams and hexagrams, meditation, prophecy (tarot, astrology, etc), prayer, solar and lunar correspondences, conjuration, beauties, talismans and amulets, dolls, wands, and lots of other powerful instruments for the invocation, evocation and petitioning of spirit. Within Native American spirituality and ritual, for example, there tends to be an effort at maintaining balance, peace, and consistency in between the ordinary world and the universal forces (energies) of Spirit or Gitchi Manidoo.
Keep in mind that there are many different methods to perform routines and to cast spells, particularly, within the realm of Alternative Faiths and Spiritualities (i.e., non-mainstream religio-spiritual courses). Keep in mind that these approaches or practices are not set in granite because each spiritual course, circle, coven, grove, temple, or event has its own particular method of doing things. There are some standard components or element parts that one will discover in almost any spell or routine-- some comparable and some not so similar in name:
Anatomy of Magick, Routine & Spellwork - Actions
- Kind or Kind Of Ritual
- Function - Intent of the Ritual
- Routine Tools (Preparation, Cleansing, and/or Consecration).
- Lunar & Solar Correspondences.
- Preparation - Ground and Focus (Center).
- Producing Sacred Area, Circle Casting - Pentagram, Hexagram, Triangle (Pyramidal).
- Invocation - Evocation of Divinity (Several deities).
- Duplicating the Routine's Purpose.
- Working the Ritual.
- The Nexus of Energy (NoE - Raising energy or power then releasing it into deep space).
- Offerings - Food, Libation, Objects.
- Meditation (Exhalation).
- Thanking the Deities, Spirits, and other Energies or Forces.
- Closing, Eliminating the Circle.
Depending upon one's spiritual path, scenarios, or intent, the professional will Call the Quarters just after circle casting. And bear in mind that routines, spellwork, and magick are the adjustment of meaning.
Often, a spell is carried out just as a necromancy without being included in a full ritual or ceremony. The correct working and exercising of spells and routines are crucial in any spiritual or divinatory system. Whether it be Low (Folk) Magick, Ritualistic (High or Routine) Magick, Supportive Magick, or Black Magick (the Dark Arts), all have their own form of and method to rituals and spellwork. Extremely excellent examples of extremely ritualistic religio-spiritual systems include however are not restricted to: The Craft, Khemeticism and Tameran (Ancient Egyptian religious beliefs), Qabalah (Hermetic Kabbalah - identifying between Judaic doctrinal and the Hermetic magickal viewpoints), Hoodoo, Freemasonry, Alchemy, Mayhem, Vodou (Voodoo), Ayurvedic, Vedic, and lots of other systems that may engage in the practice of spellwork (spell casting), routines (ritualistic rites), and magick.
Keep in mind that there are lots of various methods to carry out routines and to cast spells, especially, within the realm of Alternative Faiths and Spiritualities (i.e., non-mainstream religio-spiritual courses).

THE 80% RULE
Readers of my horoscope column "Free Will Astrology" are sometimes surprised when I say I only believe in astrology about 80 percent. "You're a quack?!" they cry.
Not at all, I explain. I've been a passionate student of the ancient art for decades. About the time my over-educated young brain was on the verge of desertification, crazy wisdom showed up in the guise of astrology, lyricizing my soul just in time to save it.
"But what about the other 20 percent?" they press on. "Are you saying your horoscopes are only partially true?"
I assure them that my doubt proves my love. By cultivating a tender, cheerful skepticism, I inoculate myself against the virus of fanaticism.
This ensures that astrology will be a supple tool in my hands, an adaptable art form, and not a rigid, explain-it-all dogma that over-literalizes and distorts the mysteries it seeks to illuminate.
P.S.: I use the same 80-20 approach with every belief system I love and benefit from: science, psychology, feminism, and various spiritual traditions like Qabalah, Buddhism, paganism, and magick.
I take what's useful from each, but am not so deluded as to think that any single system is the holy grail that the physicists call the "Theory of Everything."
Unconditional, unskeptical faith is the path of the fanatic and fundamentalist, and I aspire to be a rowdy philosophical anarchist, aflame with objectivity and committed to the truth that the truth is always evolving.

Well, I'm gonna stop making gifs (for posting), until I master the art of gif-making, drawing+painting on tablet and finishing Qabalah book.
Sincerely, Sept 🌹🌻
I need to sort my priorities. I really need to, if I want to achieve many skills. Not new year's resolution, but I've just realised that last year I don't finish anything at all.

THE WEISER TAROT DECK | A REVIEW
Tumblr media
The newly released Weiser Tarot deck has finally been released! I am excited to share the beauty of this deck with you. For anyone who knows me or listens to my podcast, Pagan’s Witchy Corner, you know I have a massive love of Tarot and Oracle decks. My collection currently sits somewhere in the range of 30+ decks. No judgment, please. So, I was thrilled to have the Weiser Tarot deck join my collection of cherished decks.
What a beautiful Tarot deck!
Surprisingly out of all my Tarot decks only two of them are in the style of the classic Rider Waite Smith deck. Being an artist, I often find myself drawn more to the more artistic and different styles of Tarot decks, but I am happily in love with the Weiser Tarot deck.
Furthermore, I love the art style of the deck, it is absolutely enchanting. The bold lines of the drawings of the traditional images with the soft whimsical beauty of the watercolor backgrounds, bring life to this deck.
While there are many things I love about this deck, here are a few of my favorite things. Firstly, many tarot decks often have flimsy cards. Those do not hold up to time and shuffling and will often have to be replaced quickly. In contrast, the Weiser Tarot is sturdy with a thicker cardstock for each card allowing it to easily stand on your altar. If you want to share your readings on social media or with clients, the matte finish on the deck is perfect for photographing your spreads.
The New Hebrew and Astrological Additions Are Exquisite
Secondly, I also love the new Ankh spread included in the guidebook. It is a great spread for connecting to your Egyptian deities or looking for the keys to life to achieve the best life possible. The Hebrew and astrological influences on the bottom of the Major Arcana cards. It is a particularly excellent addition for those who have curiosity about Qabalah and astrology.
In conclusion, this is a great starter deck for someone new to studying Tarot and is also a great addition for a seasoned practitioner, and I above all highly recommend it to all Tarot lovers.

Weiser Tarot by Waite & Smith
The Weiser Tarot is a new edition of the most popular and influential Tarot art ever created, the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, first published in 1909. The cards have been newly repainted while, of course, preserving Pamela Colman Smith’s original line art creating a fresh, flowing aesthetic. Additionally, the cards provide Hebrew and astrological correspondences to the Major Arcana not included in the original Rider-Waite-Smith deck for those seekers who have an interest in Qabalah and astrology.
