I don't fully remember if I've posted this specific fact about Healing before, but even if I have, I may as well post it again for my more recent followers!

1. Any species can become a Healer, as long as their body is capable of eating in some fashion. If you have a mouth and a stomach, you can become one.

2. If the species in question has teeth, upon becoming a Healer, they will grow fangs... And that includes herbivorous species who normally don't grow canines.

3. Healers' mouths also open wider than those of outsiders* of their species. They also gain new muscles in their face which allow them to snarl if they weren't previously capable of it.

Here's a simple illustration to demonstrate what I mean:

The fangs aren't used as part of the actual process of healing; A Healer's fangs are intended to be used as self defense tools. Even then, they're used more as a visual deterrent than for actual biting, though they can bite as a last resort. They try not to break skin if they must bite, because the taste of blood makes Healers incredibly ill.
