Raine x GN! Neutral Reader cuddling headcanons!

- Honestly, Raine goes through so much stress and they definetly deserve cuddles.

- And life can be hard sometimes and maybe things just feel harder than they should be and because of that, YOU DESERVE CUDDLES TOO.

- There are numerous reasons why Raine could be needing cuddles. Either from trying to stay under the Emporer's radar, having to pretend to be under Terra's control, or worrying about their friend Eda and her human. Either way, all they want to do is cuddle up next to you and hold you for the entire day.

- Maybe its the rare break that Belos gives his employees or they just find a really valid excuse but they will clear up their schedule and you'll clear up yours just to dedicate a day to each other.

- You both wake up and you hold each other and its just...its very nice. The two of you basking in the feeling of being in each other's arms, with you laying your head in their chest and them putting their chin on top of your head.

- There's no rush to get up but you guys eventually do, groaning and rubbing your eyes after finally giving in to the morning.

- You two are attached by the hip all day though. If you're reading a book, you're reading it with your back to Raine's chest on the lounge in your shared living quarters as he plays music from their violin and setting a nice calming atmosphere. You look up a few times just to see the yellow magical aura the insturment casts.

- Their favorite postions to cuddle in when you're either on top of them and you can listen to the beat of their heart and feel you on top of them. Another is where they can listen to the sound of YOUR heartbeat. So like, yeah they just like cuddling with you in general but you notice their hold on you this time is a bit tighter than usual, but you can hardly blame them.

- Who knows what's gonna happen in the future? You guys don't know so maybe that's why you decided to take the day off.

- BUT FORGET ABOUT THAT STUFF, TODAY IS A DAY WHERE YOU ENJOY EACH OTHER'S PRESCENCE AND COMPANY. AND YOU DO.

- Raine, as we know, is a very easily flustered person so is it really too much of a stretch to think that they'd also be just as easy to fluster during cuddle time?

- Like you just making little teasing jokes (nothing too mean) and Raine just mumbling your name before hiding their face in the crook of your neck but also chuckling along with you.

- Honestly I can imagine moments where they just tickle you, not flat out tickle torture but the kind of small tickles that make you giggle and make you gently move from but then you just as quickly return in their embrace, giving them playful, "How can I trust you after you just tickled me!?" but you do trust them.

- Soft kisses to your cheek. Raine will just softly stare at you and when you turn to ask them what they're looking at, they simply give you a small kiss on the cheek and say: "Only at the love of my life."
