Gone Away: Chapter 9
Forgiveness is Earned through Purifying Flames (So Where's the Pyre that You Seek?)
A Disc War Finale AU
Rating: Teen Warnings: Creator Chose Not to Use Archive Warnings Category: Gen Relationships: c!Tubbo & c!Tommy, c!Sam & c!Tubbo, c!Dream & c!Tubbo Chapter-specific warnings:  Mentions of death/grief/mourning, references to religion, emotional manipulation
In theory, Ranboo’s thought process makes sense. Tubbo has never been able to have many attachments, but when he did fight for them, it was to protect something else that the object was a crucial part of.
He loved L’Manberg for the community and the home it crafted, enough that he spilt his blood twice to protect it. He loved the camarvan that housed the four revolutionaries, curled up on the floor and each other as they squeezed around the brewing stands stashed in the back. He loved the docks for the times he and Tommy hopped from post to post, laughing as they fell into the lake and dragged the other in. He loved the walls that kept them safe and secure, that reminded them that land was their community.
He loved New L’Manberg, too. He loved the shaky foundations, rebuilt over the remains of the second blast that tried to take his homeland. He loved the lanterns that lit up their nights and the shops that were built on the decks. He loved the apiary he and Ranboo built and kept, the main solace when the nation felt too much like a burden rather than a home. He loved it enough to make it into a home Tommy would’ve been proud of if he had the chance to live in it, but he couldn’t love it enough to save it.

okay also no one asked me in the ask game but i do think c!ranboo isn't willingly working with c!Dream in the sense he agrees with c!Dream or like he's possessed or whatever. (not crit/vague tbh i just have a lot of thoughts bc its an interesting part of lore to me)
Like i think cranboo potentially agreed to work with c!Dream in the sense maybe the way it was presented to him in their first interaction is that it would keep people safe, maybe even it would keep his friends/family safe. I think c!ranboo and especially in his enderwalk full memory state wants peace and safety. I do think c!Dream probably lied to him a lot and manipulated him along the way, but i do think he in some way joined because of what good he thought he could do.
I also rotate the theory that he worked with c!Dream willingly to get the upper hand on him in some way too. Like that he wants c!Dream gone (we do know cranboo actively does not like c!Dream/is very definitive on this) and he thought "if i work with him i can keep people safe, i can keep my family safe, i can get the upper hand, i can help c!tommy, etc."
I'm always willing to hear thoughts :D!

My interpretation and theorys about tommys season 1 dsmp final!
SPOILER WARNING FOR TOMMYS "The last stream" LORE STREAM!!!!
After tommy was revived, he finally made sense of the core of dreams desire for the server, he cannot understand why dream had to do the things he did to make that happen, why simplier times had to be the way he wanted them to be or why he hurt everyone in an attempt to achieve it, but he gets the core desire of his views, just showing how compassionate tommy is despite dream having tortured and abused and killed him for the past 2 years.
Dreams sees that and imidiently tries to use it into manipulating tommy to join their side, pretending to be all simple and just wanting to be friends. Of course that is untill he realizes that he is gonna die and that it was a trap.
Tommy saying "I'm sorry" wasnt him apologizing to dream for what he did but more for that he had to kill him, bc in the end, tommy never wanted to kill anyone, but to save the server he had to.
The nuke only hit the prison, like it intended to do.
However somehow the 5 people that were in the prison woke up somewhere else. Prehaps it was still the same server, just far away from everything or maybe it was a completly new world. They all had their memory wiped, but prehaps memory can be recovered?
(Also a lil theory im case that the whole server was nuked and everything was reset)
What cdream and ccwilbur said about the server got me thinking
Cdream said "how do people just apear on the server?" And ccwilbur said "prehaps ctommy and cwilbur met on another world, parted ways but met again on the dream smp."
It makes it seem like the server just started existing at one point and one after another, people joined. That doesn't make sense tho considering certain people have memorys from befor them officially joining the server that played on the server tho? (Like ranboo, puffy, eret) or that karl can go back in time to stuff existing on the smp and also the egg existing for a long time on the server. It makes no sense!
But what if the server is a loop? What if this isnt the first time that the server existed? What if dreamXD just resets the server everytime things go bad?
It would mean everyone has amnesia, but only some are aware that they have a past they forgotten. And that would mean that while the server gets reset, its possible to regain the memories of the past loop.
I would also like to think that there is people who were/are not part of the loop bc they came from somewhere else. Techno came from somewhere, so he would have no memories of a past life he forgotten. Same goes for phil and wilbur. However, phil might be part of the cycle now considering he was on the server when it was reset. Or prehaps he is not. I'd like to belief that wilbur isn't effected by the loop since he is not on the server, so if he ever returns he would be the only one who can remember the old dream smp. Maybe also foolish keepe his memories considering he is a demi god. He just didn't interact with anyone befor beside eret so he would not know that the server gets reset. Maybe also connor bc it would be funny.
------------------------------------------
Even if I am wrong about all this, a saw a lot of takes on the ending that kinda saved it for me? Considering that tommy raged about cdream defenders in his offline chat before I think it wasn't intentional made to sympathize with cdream. Was it well executed? Not at all but again, the people on the dream smp are not writers in any way and I can see how it was hard to convey the message they wanted to give. I am already happy with alot of stuff that happened and the way ctommys character was handled. Because after all, ctommy is a compassinate person who always tries to see the best in people(we have seen that many times in people like techno or wilbur) who tries to belief there is good in everyone and that even small speeks of good are worth fighting for. No matter how much cdream hurt ctommy, he wanted to do all he could to not have to kill him in the end. Unfortunatly it was too late the moment tommy stepped into that prison.

Random question, how do you personally interpret c!Ranboo's enderwalk state? just bit curious.
Personally I think of it as a thing that's natural for his hybrid species! Often in my writings I compare it to age regression(I.E entering a younger mental state and being basically A Whole Baby), but in terms of lore I've always figured it's like a pseudo-hivemind kind of deal, wherein ender hybrids(or whatever this boyo is) slip into a semi-subconscious state and act on their basic instincts as opposed to typical "human" logic.
Basically, I think that Ranboo enderwalks around during times of stress as a form of self-care and self-comforting. It's something that calms him down when he's under extreme amounts of anxiety. He walks around, goes vvoop, plays with grass blocks, hugs his hubby, baby and Tommy, and then flops back into bed so he can sleep before morning.
I do not think Enderboo acts with constant aggression.
Any violent behavior on his end would be a reaction against a perceived threat, such as someone hurting his family or acting angrily towards him.
My theory is that c!Dream saw his enderwalk state at some point, went "HMMMMM HOW CAN I USE THIS" and maybe did 1 of 3 things. He either A: Manipulated enderboo into thinking that helping him will help his family(not too hard to control someone who is perhaps mentally A Whole Baby.) B: Blackmail, stuff like "Help me or I will hurt your family, trap tommy in the prison or I'll make his life ever worse". Or C, most unlikely but it would still interest me: Straight up mind control similar to what we've seen with the Egg. C!Dream's a mad scientist. if my man's can revive the dead and commit fortnighter torture experiments, idk why mind control/mind manipulating substances is outside the realm of his usual arsenal.
I firmly believe that Enderboo is NOT helping Dream willingly. It wouldn't make sense with current canon and previous characterization. IDK if we'll ever get anything from cranboo again due to the cc being...well...not giving much of a shit. But until we do this is how I see it: If Ranboo hates c!Dream while he's awake, then a version of him with all of his memories would have to be held at gunpoint and be told he'd have to watch someone torture his baby before he'd consider helping him. He wouldn't do it willingly, and it would never make him happy.
At least that makes the most sense to me! :")

PUTTING A REPLY TO THIS IN A NEW POST SO I DON'T KEEP SPAMMING THE DASH WITH RIDICULOUSLY LONG ESSAYS LMAO
@genlossballpit: my theory on why he does this is he was trying to get closer to cdream in order to protect his friends; we saw him do this with the Syndicate and c!Tubbo so it's not out of line to say he did it once before. But then, cdream did what he does best, he manipulated the situation to make himself seem sympathetic towards c!ranboo, and by the time c!ranboo realized what was happening he was in too deep and there was too much hanging over his head for him to stop. he was stuck--and he literally took that to his grave. he originally thought he could use c!dream while also keeping him away from his friends but he underestimated cdream and bit off more than he could chew. it's possible he formed an... unhealthy, but still somewhat genuine friendship with c!Dream. Maybe c!Dream helped him just enough to be able to use him, maybe he played with c!Ranboo's easy trust. Either way, c!Ranboo got stuck and couldn't leave because of how much blackmail c!dream had on him.
see the thing is. the thing is. ok starting with the point about the syndicate because while yes, wanting to protect c!tubbo is one of his motivations for joining, it is also extremely important to note that it is far from the only one! c!ranboo explicitly agrees with the stated tenets of the syndicate; he didn't like lmanberg, he doesn't like governments in general, and he is highly in favor of the syndicate's general principles of no member being compelled to act against their will. like, he's not Just in the syndicate for c!tubbo's sake. he is there because he does believe in their cause. we have word of god confirmation from cc!ranboolive himself that this is the case.
the same thing goes for his working with c!dream. c!ranboo has--multiple times, on screen, in character--indicated that he agrees with c!dream's stated principles and goals, namely wanting an end to server conflict. the "one big happy family" line comes immediately to mind in this case, but there are several other instances of c!ranboo heavily implying that if circumstances were different, he would side with c!dream. and that's c!ranboo without any memories of interacting with c!dream directly, and only knowing c!dream as the Big Bad that everyone is fighting against! if he had even a single neutral-to-positive interaction with the guy at any point, it would not require any amount of manipulation for c!ranboo to end up fully on board.

Just a lil ramble
Ok just a thought because I'm getting back into the secret history again ...
Dream smp characters as the secret history characters because i can
Henry: thecnoblade because this definitely the dark personality, the mystery the enigmatic character but also the death. He killed 2 people?? Well 3 because himself kinda and also he planned the best ways to kill bunny which is 1000% technoblade and look on the SMO they look up to thecno for answers like they do with Henry... And the Greek obsrssuy with homer ... "Welcome home Theseus?" Ring any bells.... OK BUT HENRY THREW BUNNY OFF A CLIF ISNT THAT WHAT HAPPENED TO THESEUS.... The parallels are disgusting. ...
Richard: I'm thinking Tommy because it really is Tommy smp unreliable narrator we know Tommy and Richard lies about the plotline.... I also think because controversial but all of Tommy's issues were because of him he wasn't actually that good of a person and when you analyse Richard he wasn't exactly good either.... But also Henry kinda takes Richard under his wing much like thec does with Tommy. Richard and we know is easily manipulated like Tommy so it's a no brainer ...
Camilla: tubbo ok hear me out... I know she had a thing with Henry and Charles but let's forget that... Camilla's character is basically based on others because that's how Richard (our narrator) sees her now tubbo his lore and plot line is based on others, . Tommy than schlatt than ranboo not 100% sure but I don't think tubbbo has had lore not based upon others... So we know kinda bearly little about tubbo lore wise because of other plot lines much like camilia and while Tommy the dream smp narrator isn't with tubbo if we didn't watch a tubbo stream or or non cannon ranboo and tubbo lore we really wouldn't know shit about tubbo
Bunny: I want bunny to be dream so bad which is the only right answer ofc. The manipulation the shitty Ness of how he treats his friends like dream with Tommy and George and sapnap look that there fight when dream came out of prison yea it's somethy dream would do...
Julian: oooo ok ok Wilbur. This character is so fucking shady when you dig deeper into Julians role and search up some fan theories about him. But also because Julian is a "coward" (quote( and I'm convinced manipulated all of the students like Wilbur did in pogtopia with the big bang and leave by blowing up lmanburg because he couldn't have it. The group also look up to Julian him and Henry being close and Richard wanting to be close ... Also makes sense with this SBI brother head cannon of Wilbur tech and Tommy....
Francis: I wanna say Fundy, not just because of the ginger but the daddy issues and the hypochondria like I'm sure that's cannon for Fundy, but also gay? Like fundys lore although there really isn't much like him and Wilbur were close but are not now like Francis and Julian because im sure Francis was like woah this man's actually not that great ...
Judy: tough but im thinking quackity based on the comedic timing and always being around, plus tell me quackity wouldn't do some cocain with Tommy in a burger king parking lot .. we know quackity lives burger king and he had that weird drug dealer arc which btw I love quackity lore probably one of my fav characters and streamers actually
Charles: see this one was also quite hard but hear me out I'm thinking this one is schlatt because alcoholics but also SMp live is cannon on the dream smp, bring schlatt as a character between both and see see this decline of humanity much like we do with Charles. Also schlatt lore was great AND I WILL stand by this schlatt as a character wasn't that bad at all like really what did he do wrong? Exile Tommy and Wilbur and tried to kill tubbo for conspiracy for treason which he did.... So like yea but also Charles was sexually abusing his TWIN like schlatt was kinda witch quackity but Camila was his sister but ngl I know because it's Richards narrative and I really shouldn't but I do kinda feel for Charles like Henry was a shit head to him and put all the blame for "killing that farmer" which I don't believe they even did kill the farmer in the first place but that's irrelevant I'm just saying I think the characters kinda line up

people in this fandom be like: “ok so my two theories on why ranboo is working with dream are 1: manipulation and 2: threatening. i cant think of any other reason.”
like idk maybe he just genuinely agrees with him and/or cares about him

okay, so @genlossballpit replied to my tags on a post i reblogged and gave a theory as to why enderwalk!ranboo (or enderboo as i call him) worked for c!dream. so i thought i'd give some of my own opinions on it.
so, my theories are:
a) it's like you said in the tags, and he was being manipulated into thinking it was for the greater good (pretty likely)
b) c!dream could've, like, threatened people ranboo cared about (tubbo, tommy, etc.) (in my opinion, could also be pretty likely. you can disagree with me and that's fine. this is just a theory i came up with)
or
c) a combination of the last two (ranboo could've started out believing that it was for the greater good, realized he was manipulated, and then dream started the threatening) (maybe less likely, but still a possibilty)
anyway, those are just my own thoughts. i'm still keeping the headcanon that enderboo doesn't really like c!dream and regrets working for him, though. cause, like i said in the tags, i can't really see him liking dream all that much after...everything that happened with c!tubbo.

The funny thing about RMD to me is that if it's true then if I had c!Ranboo intentionally played along with some dude's theatrics and does what they ask with the explicit intention of letting it blow up in their face so they'd think about it just to prove a point, I'd have three nickels.
Which isn't a lot but explaining where the first nickel came from would involve an hour of me brainrotting about his time as New L'Manberg's minuteman and why it matters that Ranboo was the one gave Dream the TNT that was used for Doomsday and I kinda don't want to right now

Ranboo brings up such a good point about c!Wilbur lying about the afterlife. While we know time is fucked bc cc!Wilbur made it canon, the characters have no clue. honestly, I'd argue it makes more sense for Ranboo and the others to doubt Wilbur's words rather than believe him straight up. I mean, They have zero proof that Wilbur isn't the same guy who blew up L'Manburg. For all they know, he could have spent less than a day in limbo before Dream revived him...

Enderman Noises: Ranboo’s Stream Today
so hi. if you watched the festival today, and more specifically ranboo’s POV, you likely know what i’m about to talk about.
near the very end of his stream, dream came in and talked to ranboo, trying to manipulate and gaslight him into thinking it was him who destroyed the community house. right before leaving, dream says “i’m not even real” (interesting point, dream wasn’t online the server when he did this).
ranboo freaks out in his panic room, worrying about if it was him or not. eventually he puts mellohi back into the jukebox, and repeats several times “i don’t know what to do”. his screen goes black. while mellohi is playing, you hear a loud enderman vwoop, and stream ends soon after that with the mellohi still playing.
i want to talk about the vwoop. i must say, i am doing this on the assumption that ranboo knows the meaning behind the enderman noises. so, to explain, each ambient enderman vwoop (there is five of them; idle1, idle2, and so forth) is a distorted and sometimes reversed word/phrase in english.
each translation: - idle1: “here” or “hi” - idle2: “hiya”/”hello” - idle3: “what’s up” - idle4: “look for the eyes” - idle5: “uh oh”
i soon started talking with a friend of mine, cosmixdebri on twitter, they were the one to bring this up first. after reviewing the clip several times, we came to the agreement that the vwoop in the clip matched idle4, “look for the eyes”. we were thinking that if ranboo does indeed know the message behind each vwoop, would he have purposely chosen this one? is this possibly a hidden clue or hint to upcoming plot/character development for ranboo? what importance could eyes have, maybe something with ranboo developing/expressing more enderman traits, or something completely different?
of course, for all i know, me and cosmix could be looking into this FAR too deeply, and ranboo had just gone “heehoo funny enderman sound go brrr” and chose one at random.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
anways. ranboo is incredible, he did an amazing job in today’s stream, i am in awe of his acting skills. can’t wait to see what happens next

Let's talk broad terms.
(disclaimer. The CCs will be marked with the tag "cc!" If it's the character, I will be just calling them by their name.
Eg , "cc!dream" is the content creator, "dream" is the character.)
Tw//: I think manipulation? There's talk of using attachments against both characters and the viewers so, just be careful if you're weary of that.
The dream smp lore is, in it's simplest form, a lot of fun by a group of creative people with their own writing styles and opinions.
cc!Wilbur's influence can easily be seen in the Hamilton-esque political story that was l'manberg.
cc!Dream's mystery carries on into his character, where we don't see his side of things that happen. We don't know his views or opinions.
Even both cc and c foolish's naivety towards the lore can be interpreted into how his character jumps into conflicts he may not completely understand. Though I have little to no doubt that cc!Foolish is aware of what he is doing.
cc!Ranboo really is beginning to let his liking of horror take over his character and as a horror enjoyer for years before the smp, I am all for it.
cc!tubbo puts his lack of enthusiasm into his character so much he's literally always doing semi-lore and nobody realises.
But that isn't what I wanted to talk to you about.
I wanted to talk about the server as a whole and the attachments within it.
Not to the characters but to us. The viewers.
See. Dream said he could use attachments to control Tommy. And we got mad at him for it. Rightfully so. He has done some messed up stuff that pits us against him.
But my question is why.
Think about it.
Dream is a bad person because he did blank to blank.
It's because he did something to someone we, as the audience, have attachment to.
Say you watch.. tommy. You watch from tommy's point of view. He's a good character. He's the main person you watch.
You watch through the entire exile arc and you understand his trauma. You put yourself onto this character. You sympathize.
You are going to hate dream.
Say now you watch... I don't know. Foolish. You only ever watch foolish. You have no idea what is going on with anything to do with dream. You only know tommy died or something when he was in prison with dream.
You aren't going to feel as bad, are you? You could think "oh. Tommy is known for being a trouble maker, he might have deserved it."
It's all about perspective and who you watch mainly.
Let's take another example, awesamdude.
I'll admit. I used to be an awesamdude apologist. But then he stopped streaming his pov of events and I got less forgiving because I began seeing him doing things that I thought was wrong.
Dream himself doesn't stream his point of view. He is a mystery to even the viewers of the story.
In it's simplest form maybe it's so the viewers don't spoil anything for other creator's.
But we can read into this as cc!dream stopping us from getting this attachment to his character. cc!Dream is not stupid. He knows what he is doing.
Imagine how many more dream apologists there would be if he streamed his pov. Where he could monologue and talk about why he's doing all of this.
It's this position of attachments that I think gives even technoblade, the guy who aided in two of the three l'manberg destructions, a good guy side. We can see his downtime where he has his friends. We saw his birthday party where he was having fun. We saw his retirement. We gained attachments through him.
Attachments are powerful even to the viewers.
We are all going to be more upset if someone like... I don't know... Enderchest dies, for the ranboo viewers. Or Steve for the techno viewers, or Michael for beeduo viewers. Even if any of those are accidents via stray creeper or something.
We are going to be a lot more sad at those rather than like... A random chicken tommy kills when looking for food.
Dream wasn't kidding when he said he can control tommy through attachments.
Saying that in itself is using the viewer's attachments against them!
It's putting tommy in a position of weakness, and the chat get angry, sad, confused. They feel things that they shouldn't do at a block game.
It all comes down to attachments and the masterful way they're written into the lore of the dream smp. Chat forms attachments quickly. Everyone on the server knows this. It's whether they're willing to use that or not that makes an interesting writing decision.

clock theory still stands btw. ranboo shows up daily just to give dream his daily L and leave. he tells sam to stop letting him in because he’s worried the toxicity is getting bad for his mental health. it’s the smp equivalent of deleting twitter.

/rp obv and /lh for the most part!
My thinking out loud for who Ranboo could trust with the enderwalk state, in no particular order:
A. Tommy. Probably one of the most obvious choices imo. He's proven to Ranboo specifically that he can be trusted to protect him in a similar situation (the trial about George's house being griefed where Tommy took the fall for him). I think Ranboo knows that Tommy can keep a secret. And Tommy isnt really on any sides at the moment - apart from his friendship with Tubbo which would probably his one loose end that could end up being a deal breaker for Ranboo. I legit think Tommy is objectively the best choice for this job (and i wanna see akward duo reunite as much as the next guy), but we gotta keep in mind who we're dealing with. Ranboo's likely not going to be think of Tommy as someone who's divorced himself from basically all conflict and is just trying to better himself. He's so paranoid about this exact issue, he's probably going to default to thinking Tommy is essentially just between sides right now. Plus, like I said, Ranboo didn't say he needs someone who "isnt on any side", he said he needs someone who's "detached". While Tommy definitely fills the former, he definitly doesn't fill the latter.
B. A lot of chat was suggesting Techno and/or Phil? Which?? My dudes??? No???? Yeah sure they probably wouldn't care, but Ranboo has made it pretty clear that he's really cautious about telling them things like this in fear that one day, they might care. Plus, when they say they don't care, they really mean it. To be honest, I dont think c!Techno or c!Phil are good people to be that vulnerable to? Mainly because this is something that Ranboo is going to need unprompted reassurance with and I dont really think either of them would think to do that? Plus, they're very much on a side, that being their own. When Ranboo says detached, I think he means really detached (or at least as much as humanly possible on this SMP).
C. Fundy. This one is odd because I could totally see it happening, but I can just as easily see it not. Ranboo and Fundy established a pretty strong bond throughout December, but after Doomsday it completely fell through for them both. They clearly still care about each other and that bond is definitely still there, but its been damaged and they've both been afraid to be the first to make an effort to mend it. I genuinely believe if they would just talk, they'd be back to normal in like 10 minutes. But they'd need to talk first and in this case I think Ranboo would be the one to start the conversation, which he's shown discomfort in doing before. However, if they could bridge this gap, l think Fundy would be a very good choice (as long as he could take it seriously). Obviously, Ranboo can trust Fundy on an emotional level and we know Fundy can keep a secret (almost too well) because of the whole A Spy's Diary situation. Fundy also said himself that he currently has no alliances on the smp, aside from probably Ranboo and Ranboo knows this. Additionally, Fundy is one of the only people, along with Puffy, and of course Dream, who have canonically seen him in his enderwalk state. (Tommy did notice him wandering around like he was in it once, but Ranboo hasn't acknowledged that time as canon, so idk). Anyway, I think Fundy would be a pretty solid choice if they can just get their shit together and finally make up.
D. Karl? I see where y'all are coming from with this one and listen, I would also love to see these to interact and bond over their respective memory issues, bookkeeping, and disrealization problems. But, I hate to break it to you that c!Ranboo literally has no clue about any of that. No one does. Karl hasn't told anybody about his ability to time travel and atm doesnt have any plans to. Granted, Ranboo could choose him for other reasons, but I highly doubt it, honestly?
E. Wilbur? I know what i just said, but Hear Me Out. He's not revived right now and we don't know when he will be or what he'll even be like when/if he is. But, a few things we can guarantee is that when/if he is he'll be one of the most detached people on the server (both politically and probably emotionally), he'd have no qualms with helping out Ranboo even if he does turn out to be some awful war criminal, and, based on his interactions with Ghostbur, I think Ranboo might be willing to trust him. And probably my biggest argument for why i like this crack theory: If Wilbur remembers all of the shit he did, that means he'll be one of the few people who would be able to relate to Ranboo. He knows what it's like to have Dream take advantage of your poor/deteriorating mental health and talk you into commiting acts of terrorism. Wilbur also would know what it's like to feel like you can't trust anyone, including yourself, and he could relate to Ranboo's disrealization he's been experiencing. Plus, I just think getting to see these two interact like this would be neat idk. Definitely not going to happen, but I thought I'd inculde the idea here!
F. Eret. Fuck dude, I really want Ranboo to go to Eret about this. Like first of all, Eret is functionally detached from everything right now (I mean that's why Dream has put them on the throne twice now). All Eret cares about is helping those who need it, which would include Ranboo. I also think Ranboo knows he can trust Eret and we all know Eret would be such a sweetheart about comforting the kid, while also understanding the seriousness of the situation and treating it as such. Something that I also thought was interesting was Ranboo emphasizing that it would be ideal if the person has "kept a secret before". Now, Fundy has also kept a big secret before (again, A Spy's Diary), but ya know who was the one other person who knew about Fundy's spy plan and kept the secret (which was someone else's) just as well? Eret. And of course, the reason Eret was the first person who came to mind for me: Eret betrayed L'manberg all that time ago and, obviously, had to keep it a secret and did with ease, even at a time when the writing couldn't protect it for them. Point is, Eret checks this box multiple times over and gets a gold star on it. On the note of Eret's betrayal, what I said about Wilbur knowing what it's like to be used by Dream to commit terrorism/war crimes, also applies to Eret. It's often forgotten that Eret was actually the first person to be used and manipulated by Dream. Eret wanted respect and power and when Dream found out, he promised it to them in the form of a flimsy title and fancy crown in exchange for turning on their friends, Eret took it. They then regretted it almost instantly. Point is, Eret can not only help Ranboo through this with the care and respect he requires, but can also do so by being able to relate to Ranboo on a personal level, which I think Ranboo would respond to. Eret is sort of the closest Ranboo could have to having someone represent what he's afraid he could become - someone who's seen as a filthy traitor and nothing more, never able to earn back the love and respect of their friends. But, Eret could show him that, with time and a lot of effort, he's worthy of forgivess just like they were. I also really want this for Eret. Let Eret be able to use the experience that they view as their biggest mistake, followed by months of paying for it, as a way to be able to help this kid that's grappling with some pretty heavy problems. It would be so healing for the both of them.

/rp /dream smp and meta shit yknow how it is
i think... dream didnt intend for things to turn out this way,  for him to be in prison.  i do think however he has a plan.  as he said, hes always a step or two ahead.  i think while he didnt intend things to turn out this way, he thought of all the possibilities, and has thought out what to do if this kind of situation came about.  if it were up to him, tommy would be in the inescapable prison cell, tubbo would be dead, and he would have complete control over everyone. i think part of his plan now is to manipulate tommy again, but as for now tommy doesnt seem to be falling for his bullshit.  at most tommys kind of feeling a lil bad for dream? but at the same time tommy knows that this is deserved so.  i guess we’ll have to wait for tommys visit on the 24th to see where dreams planning on going with this?  and we also have ranboos dream prison visit to look forward to if that ever happens so.
also i’d like to say i dont think dream is sad.  i think hes just bored.  he lost his toy, he got punished, and is trying to get tommy to feel bad for him so he can get let out.  he didnt even specify what he did to tommy that he was “sorry” about. green lima bean got what was coming to him imo

so I have some thoughts about the recent ranboo stream. (this is all /rp unless stated otherwise. also i say ranboo and enderboo purely to differentiate “normal” ranboo and him in the enderwalk state. they’re not separate people, simply the same person with a different set of memories.)
so ranboo told phil that he was experimenting with the splash water bottles, but told him it was to build up water tolerance instead of anything to do with the enderwalk. he also mentioned how the steam from the bottle didnt hurt him, which wasnt a lie because cc!ranboo mentioned that as well on his chill stream the same day as the lessons. i think this is important to mention again because too many people think ranboo hurt himself with those splash water bottles, when it was just to scare himself into the enderwalk state because it's triggered by fear.
so enderboo left a message. “I am someone who stops conflict. I need to make sure that if any conflict arises to try and help in any way possible. MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE IS SAFE. STOP CONFLICT. MAKE THE SERVER BETTER. This is what I need to do. Trust me.” it seems like he has the right intentions, but i’m immediately suspicious. for one, we already know enderboo has been in contact with dream who knows how many times. he could easily influence enderboo’s worldview and use it for his own gain. and assuming dream’s idea about the “big happy family” is actually his goal, him and enderboo have similar world views when it comes to conflict (ranboo too, but he goes about it in a much more passive way). and because of this, dream can easily convince/manipulate enderboo into doing his bidding by reasoning it’s for the sake of stopping conflict. blowing up the community house and hiding one of tommy’s discs, for example. and guess what conflict is coming up? tommy attempting to break into the prison to kill dream. take that as you will.
ranboo questioning how many lives tommy has now that he’s been revived serves as a good reminder that we really don’t know. he could die and come back like normal or he could die and need to be revived again. or even something completely different due to messing with his life count. we just don’t know.
i already had this idea after the lessons stream, but it's pretty much confirmed now that the lessons enderboo were taught, he is physically incapable of breaking. ranboo was talking about how he literally couldn't tell people about the enderwalk, and saying that it was a recent thing. this is implied to be because of the lesson he remembered that taught him not to tell anyone what he did (maybe even specifically while enderwalking?) of course, if dream taught him these lessons, that could prove dangerous considering how many of them there are, and how many more there could be.
putting all of this together makes me scared for not only ranboo's future, but tommy's too.
