Klarion! Lord of Chaos, good looking young man of FABULOUS hairstyles, partner in crime of the MAGNIFICENT Teekle... is? In a bit of a pickle. Tiny bit of a problem. Itty, bitty, theoretically possible touch of a CONCERN, if you will. Might even have done goofed.
See, and he knows this is out of character for him, he THOUGHT? It would be funny? To play a... a LITTLE, tiiiiny, harmless bitty joke on the Lord of Time. Ha ha... funny right? We're all joking around~! H-having a LAUGH?
....please don't unwind me into unexistence! We're too hilarious and gorgeous to die!

And, yeah, maybe he and Teekle start monologing. Dramatically lamenting how Teekles care routine is going to RUINED and they are going to DIE, how no one can take a JOKE, trying to bargin their way out of their impending demise. Etc etc. But?
Then? The Lord Of Time muses that Teekle IS very well cared for? And?
Look, buddy, kill him or don't kill him! You're not gonna get Teekle! Keep your filthy cat molesting hands to yourself! No one touches his baby!
That's apparently the "right answer".
He suddenly has a God Toddler in his other arm, cradled against his chest, right next to Teekle. W-What? The Price(TM) for Sparing His Life(TM) is raising and protecting his... WAIT, WHAT!?
Klarion become a Teen Dad. Teekle become a Cat Parent. Both are baffled and highly alarmed. What has happen to their eternal Hot Chaos Summer!? Fast cars and the country side filled with frogs that are on fire? Milk shakes and rattlesnakes down peoples shirts?
Parenthood?!?! This is going to RUIN ALL THEIR FUN PLANS!
..........or......or IS it? Teekle, hear him out, what if? We take the glow potato? WITH us? It's a baby! They don't do much. Probably good enrichment or something! Yeah! We'll get one of those baby carriers and just? Rain on the Justice Dorks parade, WITH A BABY! That's EXTRA embarrassing for them!
We could have matching outfits!
Nevermind! I saved it! Teekle, we're geniuses. Let's go rob some baby stores! Come on, Jr.! Time to learn Daddy's favorite past time! CHAOS.

California Kingsnake (Lampropeltis californiae)
Family: Colubrid Family (Colubridae)
IUCN Conservation Status: Least Concern
Native to the southwestern USA and northwestern Mexico, the California Kingsnake gets its "kingly" name from its unusual diet; members of this species are ophiophagus, meaning that, while they do feed on rodents, frogs and small birds, their diet is made up primarily of other snakes, including numerous venomous species such as rattlesnakes (the venom of which, through means that are not well understood, California Kingsnakes exhibit extreme resistance to.) Although they exhibit an impressive resistance to snake venom members of this species are not venomous themselves (although the striking red-and-yellow bands that run down the bodies of most individuals may be a form of mimicry that allows them to pass for a highly venomous coral snake to deter predators, though this mimicry is notably less convincing than that seen in many related Lampropeltis species such as the Milk Snake,) and instead subdue their prey through constriction, exerting considerably more force than most similarly-sized snakes in what is believed to be an adaptation that aids them in hunting reptiles (constrictor snakes kill their prey by starving the brain and other vital organs of oxygen, but as reptiles use less oxygen than mammals and birds due to their lower metabolic rates exerting greater force is necessary to do so effectively.) Able to survive in a wide range of habitats owing to their ability to enter a dormant state when faced with adverse conditions, California Kingsnakes brumate beneath rocks, logs or within abandoned burrows during the winter and breed shortly after emerging in the late spring, with females laying clutches of 10-20 leathery white eggs among leaf litter or beneath rotting wood throughout the summer.

I shift my weight from one foot to the other. The afternoon sun beats down against the back of my neck and I blink and drag my forearm across my face as a bead of sweat migrates from my eyebrow into my eye. With a loud pop, Shane drives the tennis ball towards me with his powerful right arm and it dives sharply to the ground in front of me. I spin it back with ease and send it screaming towards the baseline, past him and out of reach.
“Nice,” Jen says lazily. She’s sitting on the ground on the sidelines with Joe and they are sharing the single cigarette that they managed to bum off a boat club patron trying to enjoy a smoke with his lunch. “Gotta be quicker, Shane.”
He ignores her and bounces the ball a few times in preparation for his next serve. He tosses the fuzzy sphere into the sky and slams it over the net. I whack it back with my left hand. Easy. Shane is strong but I am fast, agile, quick like a whip. He’ll never beat me at tennis. We hit back and forth a few times before I spin the ball right at his feet and he swings. And misses. And flings his racket onto the astroturf.
“Done,” He proclaims, “It’s too hot, I’m pure sweaty now.”
He was never good in the heat, he’s always bathed in sweat, his t-shirt soaked, his hair wet with it, but not me. I have Chihuahuan Desert blood in me, raised in that withering heat, of dry earth, cacti and oleander, diamondback rattlesnakes and paleozoic rock, the dryland doesn’t give a shit about anybody.
Ireland in July is just fine for me.
I sling my racket over my shoulder and saunter toward the net, “C’mon, Shane, is that all you’ve got?”
He grunts, “get one of the lads to play against you.”
“Not us,” Jen pipes up, “At least not me.”
Joe shakes his head, “Not me either, you’re a sore winner.”
I scoff, “A sore winner? C’mon, you’re all just afraid to lose.”
“Not afraid, it’s just boring when there’s like, a 100% chance that it’s going to happen, look,” Jen sucks the last of the cigarette and flicks it away, “We know you love winning and you think you’re so great and all that-”
I’ve stopped listening, Clóda has just come out of the lounge with a tray of tea.
“Hey,” I jog over as she serves a table by the court.
She glances shyly at me, “Hey.”
“How are you?”
“I’m good, oops-” her trembling hands spill a drop of milk from the little white ceramic jug she is putting onto the table. She apologises to the customers and mops the spot quickly with a cloth while I rock back and forth on my heels. She straightens up and walks me to the edge of the terrace, and though she is trying to look serious I know I have amused her, “You know, I’m working.
“That’s okay, I don’t mind.” I bend to kiss her.
“You’re cheeky,” She giggles and pushes me away, “Come back when I’m off.”
“Yeah? When is that?”
“Four, but you’ll be picking up your sister from the kids club then.”
“Not today, my mom is back from Dublin. I’m all yours.”
“Oh, well, that’s good.”
“Will you go somewhere with me?”
“Where?”
“Somewhere nice.”
“Very specific,” she rolls her eyes and turns around nervously to where her dad is now standing at the patio door and staring me down with what I’m sure he thinks is an intimidating look on his face. I grin at him and throw him a big sarcastic thumbs up.
“For a walk,” I clarify, “If your dad is okay with that. Maybe he’ll request a chaperone.”
“My dad is not okay with that, but I’m not planning on telling him about it.”
I shrug, “Okay.”
“Alright then.”
“What are you doing standing here talking to me, huh? Don’t you have work to do?”
She laughs to herself as she walks away from me.
“Lazy,” I call after her. “I think I’ll write in and complain to management.”
She gives me the finger.
When I turn back around to my friends they look suitably unimpressed, but they’re just jealous. “You sure about that rematch, Shane?”
His jaw is set as he whips three tennis balls out of his pockets and whacks them directly at me at the speed of bullets before I have time to respond. Every one of them bounces directly off my innocent body.
“Ow!” I protest, “What’s gotten into you? Calm down, jesus!”

Wings of Fire Dragon Guide, Part One: MudWings and SandWings
This is the MudWing, or mud dragon. They have brown, amber, and/or gold scales, can breathe fire if warm enough, and if born from a blood reg egg, are immune to burns/burns heal fast, have a flat nose on the top of their snout, and can hold their breath for up to an hour.. They live in groups of siblings mostly, and the oldest or first hatched us called the big wings, who will become their leader. MudWings live in the swampy Mud Kingdom, which has prey such as crocodilians, snakes, pigs, cows, chickens, etc. . They will eat almost anything, and are very loyal to their siblings. They can have names such as:
Bodies of Mud/Water: Swamp, Marsh, Bog...
Swamp Plants: Reed, Cattail, Sawgrass
Wetland animals: Copperhead, Egret, Crocodile...
Shades of brown: Taupe, Olive, Sepia...
This is the SandWing, or sand dragon. They are pale gold, off-white, or tan, and live in the desert Kingdom of Sand. They can breathe fire and have a venomous barb, like a scorpion's, at the end of their tail, radiate heat from their scales,, and have forked black tongues. They eat lightly, preferring lizards or camel, and have eaten kebabs and camel milk. Have had animus dragons in the past (animus dragons are rare dragons born with magic that can do almost anything, but can't bring back the dead. Further limitations unknown). They can have names such as:
Desert animals: Scorpion, Vulture, Rattlesnake, Camel...
Desert winds: Sandstorm, Qibli, Sirocco...
Heat: Arid, Blister, Burn, Blaze, Char, Smolder...
Desert plants: Agave, Palm...
Sharp plants: Thorn, Prickle...
Sand formations: Dune...

Some Texan Folklore, Remedies, & other Superstitions
I'm unsure if these are strictly Texan specific, or if they may even be something only my small town does, but figured I'd share some of the stuff I heard growing up in South Texas
chewin' tobacco juice for insect stings, mainly bee, wasp, fire ant, and scorpion - its meant to draw the sting out. mud also works in a pinch
aloe or vinegar for sunburns
teaspoon of honey with lemon for a cough
for a cold, a shot (or glass) of whiskey with sugar and lemon. ive also heard it be used for aches, pains, curing a toothache, and ensuring a good nights sleep
biting into a pepper or taking a shot of hotsauce to clear stuffed sinuses
sea salt and a few drops of hot sauce into warm water to gargle for a sore throat
prickly pear juice for ulcers or an upset stomach, and a prickly pear poultice for sores or burns
sweet tea to cool you down and keep you hydrated, and a glass on the porch during sunset is said to be a sure fire way to ease stress or loneliness (a swig of bourbon is sometimes added on rough or celebratory nights)
a glass of buttermilk will cool you down when your overheating or settle an upset stomach
oatmeal bath for poison oak, ivy, etc
a pinch of baking soda in your pitcher is said to give you sweeter sweet tea
dont point at a grave - your finger will rot and fall off
when visiting a graveyard turn your pockets inside out so no spirits can hitch a ride home in your pants
brass cowbells get hung around cows necks to keep them producing milk so its believed ringing them can attract good luck as well
if your ears are ringing, it means someone is talking about you
to make an incoming storm miss your property, stick an axe in the ground - its said to split the cloud
a ring around the moon means bad weather is coming
a buzzards shadow crossing you brings bad luck
Horsehair rope to keep rattlesnakes away. I mainly hear this one about camping and keeping it tied outside your tent to ward them off, but I've known a few older folk who tie it to their bedposts year round
a rightside up (U) horseshoe above your door brings good luck to you and your family and wards away evil. if you hang it upside down or it falls upside down, all your luck is said to have fallen out. its luckier too if you spit on it before hanging it up
dont camp or walk by a river at night, and if you hear a womans cries coming from the river, dont investigate, as most rivers tend to have a vengeful spirit that wants company
Be wary of letting your kids roam during canicula - or the "dog days"/the hottest days of summer - and adults should be vigilant too. It's mainly to do with the heat, but I've also heard this time of year is when fatigue, fevers, and bad luck haunts your step, as well as tales of a serpent who preys on children during this time
A redheaded woodpecker pecking on your roof means a death will happen in your family. I've also heard this said for when a bird flies inside your home
Don't wear your hat backwards, set it on your bed, or set it brimside down - all of the luck will spill out. Setting it on your bed may even bring death upon you or your loved ones. Set it upside down (if you can't hang it up) to keep all your luck inside (I think this one is primarily for cowboy hats, but I've seen most people set their baseball caps upside down too)
tamales are made and eaten at Christmas to represent family coming together
Rain is coming if all your cows lay down in the field, or if spiders, flies, or spiders come into your home
Plant your root vegetables during a new moon and your leafy vegetables during a full moon, both at night, for a better harvest
if your horses mane or tail is in knots, they were visited by fairies (the horses hair tangles because fairies are said to use it as reins to ride the horse). its best to leave the lil riders some milk and honey as thanks for exercising your horse
when you kill a snake, you have to bury its head seperate from the body or either the spirit of the snake will come back for revenge or all of its snake friends will retaliate
An itching right palm will shake a new hand (a new friend or acquaintance will be made) while an itching left palm means money is coming your way
buy a new broom when you move houses for a clean start. bringing your old broom with you will bring all your old problems and bad luck
Salt thrown over your right shoulder stops bad luck (and salt thrown over your left doubles bad luck)
Knocking on wood unjinxes you or wards off evil spirits
Toads and crickets in your garden mean good luck is coming your way
when its sunny and raining at the same time, my family said it meant the devil was kissing his wife, but others also said it meant the devil was beating his wife
Open your windows when it rains so negative energy will leave and the positive energy of the rain will come in
its unlucky to wear yellow
always shave before a competition, job interview, or first date - its said that youre cleaning up to impress Lady Luck
dont eat chicken on new years or before a competition - its unlucky
never buy boots secondhand - youll get all of the old owners troubles
stepping in manure is said to bring you good fortune, especially if your boots are new
black eyed peas and cornbread on new years eve for good luck and greens (either cabbage or collard greens) for wealth in the new year

Rags to Werewolves: Day One
(And yes, we will be using FEROCIOUS INTIMIDATION for this one.)
As Lou is already a werewolf and has some skills unlocked, he started out with nothing but a Woo Hoo bush. No serenading roommates for him, as no guitar.
Part of the appeal with the Sims franchise seems to be that you can be rewarded both for being bad as well as good. And this was definitely the case with Lou, who thus far is racking up some decent Simoleons through scaring Sims - who sometimes drop their wallets.
He also got the whim to flirt and - unsurprisingly - struck out with Ava Harjo. And (in spite of what Lou was likely telling himself) not just because she's married, methinks.
Since in my headcanon Lou does have some scruples, he's not scaring elderly Sims or children with this ability. So he used his not exactly hard-earned gains to buy some fish tacos (§10) and bolstered his SOCIAL needs by chatting with the vendor.
He also helped Alexander Goth with his homework. See? Just a model citizen, really.
Alexander: Uh I'm not sure if that's how iambic pentameter works, but okay.
This was a coffee that - likely someone who he had chased off - left behind.
"What, no oat milk?"
Around what is essentially the 'midday' point for Lou's adventures (he's picked up the NIGHT WOLF trait so unless you want to really play dice with his Fury levels, he's nocturnal), he went to the Rattlesnake Juice Bar looking for more people to frighten.
While neither of us could bear to be mean to Johnny, Lily Feng was another story.
Turns out nearly constantly terrifying people pays off massively for Werewolf XP, as he levelled up to RUNT, unlocked the ANTI CAPITALIST CANINE trait (not exactly an issue with this save) and got another skill point which I used to unlock HUNTER.
Finally he sojourned to Moonwood Mill where he worked out, took a WOLF BATH and enjoyed the national dish of the Wildfangs.
