so the Titan's Curse was always my favourite book in the PJO series. so many of my favourite characters were introduced, more in-depth Thalia content, Zoë, the Di Angelos, Rachel...man, I have so many feelings.

I cried for Bianca, I knew it was coming but it still hit so hard to read it again. and I'm currently trying not to sob in the living room in front of my roommates for Zoë :'))

I can't wait to continue this saga and read the new book. my heart is as full as it is hurting for these wonderful characters, and younger me is happy to be back in this little word-world. so very excited for the series ₊˚⊹

Honestly so much happens in The Lightning Thief that each book could be like 2 seasons of a television show

Hear me out: The Peter Johnson movies are actually pretty good—just not in the sense that it takes after Rick’s characters. Like, if they called it “Peter Johnson the Stealer of Thunder” or something, people would be like, okay: that is obviously some knock-off PJO. But because (in this theoretical sense) they don’t actually use Percy’s name and the plot is completely different, you can’t really argue with it.

But that isn’t what happened.

They used ricks characters, saying that it would take after his books, then completely ignored every single aspect of what his books represented. But I WILL fight anyone who disses on the actors for the movie. They did a great job and are all wonderful, but this movie was not for them and, quite frankly, not for anyone else. It is just like the producers had skimmed the back summary of the book—or, hell, someone ELSE read it to them, they forgot what it had said, and based a movie off the small bits they remembered hearing. It’s shit. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. I’m so excited for the series to come out and finally get the live action of Camp Half Blood that is long-awaited!
