真天地開闢集団-ジグザグ - 命 I couldn't find the scans of this main feature issue anywhere so I purchased it and decided to share the scans since the photoshoot is pure epicness.

There is a lot of interview and band history if anyone is interested in translating it I can scan it as well.

I rarely fall in love with a band so quickly but when I do it's something special and Mikoto definitely is that. Special.

【Interview/Entrevista】An Cafe (antic cafe), Rock and Read vol.102 #4 (Final)

Formed in 2003, in 2010 there was a suspension of activities, in 2012 there was a resumption of activities, in 2019 there was a new suspension of activities, in June 2022 there was a resumption of activities. The members are Miku (vocals), takuya (guitar), Kanon (bass), Yuuki (keyboards) and Teruki (drums). For three and a half years, we were separated from all Cafekko (AnCafe fans). I wondered what kind of face I should make when meeting everyone. At first, I thought it would be better to say "I'm sorry" and apologize, but as Yuuki just said, the audience welcomed me very warmly. That's when my feelings changed. We will convey our feelings by delivering a solid performance. As expected, I felt I had to thank Osaka Muse, the members, staff and fans for giving me this opportunity. So, you announced at an event in Osaka that on January 5th and 6th next year we will have a two-day one-man for the first time in four years. When did you decide to do this? Miku: After it was decided that we would perform at the Osaka Muse event, the number of times we talked about how the 20th anniversary should be held increased among the members. In response to this, Michiru-san suggested that we do a one-man live. Well, rather than a proposal, in a sense, that too, after all, was like an approval. Michiru contacted me and said, "Please check the schedule to see if all members are available." It's an exaggeration (laughs). If they managed to participate in the event, it was impossible to do a One-man, it would be like “Hey, hey” (laughs). takuya: It's true. For me, the only problem was the schedule. Miku: Haven't you organized your schedule yet? takuya: It's all right now (laughs). The people at my work understood. They also told me “I will see”. Miku: I think each member thinks differently. But I have a strong desire to keep doing it. We did a rehearsal for the Osaka Muse event, didn't we? It's been a long time since we didn't have a show, I wanted to flirt more with all the cafekkos (laughs), after all, it was Osaka Muse's 35th anniversary event right. So in the future it would be nice if we could do activities to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Yuuki: I want to get back to playing if the schedule fits! Miku: What? Teruki: Some members have other jobs besides music, so the current AnCafe might seem a little weird as a band. Thinking about it this way, the second hiatus may have been a necessary time for each member and not necessarily for An Cafe. Teruki: It might have been necessary in terms of the way the five of us lived. However, we upset a lot of people, so I'm really sorry about that. Again, when I was asked about the appearance of the Osaka Muse event, I honestly feel like I want to play with AnCafe and I have a resistance of not saying I want to do that because I caused problems. But if the resurrection stage didn't come true because of my refusal, it would be much worse. Because I thought I shouldn't play again. I don't think you should blame yourself for that... Teruki: This time, I wasn't the one who started it all. When I contacted Miku-kun, I told him that Shuto Miyazaki had asked, “I want you to sing”, and at the Osaka Muse event, people around me asked, “Why don't you come to the concert?” . Kanon-san also said that they are “small accumulations of everyday life”, but being able to be beyond ourselves, that is also the greatness of An Cafe. You have the power to move something. Teruki: Also, the 2019 announcement was not a disbandment, but a hiatus. When I contacted Miku-kun, the premise was great. When the band went on hiatus, if Miku-kun hadn't said "I'll wait until the members say we'll play again", but said "This is the end of AnCafe", I might not have been able to turn on Miku-kun even after Shuto-kun contacted me, I don't think I could. I knew that Miku-kun still wanted to sing in AnCafe, at some point, I thought I hadn't given up on AnCafe yet, so I managed to get in touch with them. It's because Miku-kun and the cafekkos really protected AnCafe, and they waited for us. I don't want to jump to conclusions right now, but I think the feelings of the audience who come to the venue will be different if there is anything beyond the January show. If you think there's a future beyond that, I think you can enjoy live performances with a bright feeling. Miku: I didn't intend to protect AnCafe. When I heard about Osaka Muse, I thought that if the members didn't say OK, I would do karaoke by myself. However, I never thought of switching members. Because I was a little optimistic. Today, unlike in the past, even if a member leaves or falls apart, there is a tendency to return to nature. That's why I thought that when the time came, the five of us would get together. During today's interview, the members said something like, "I was reluctant to say that I wanted to get back to playing since I stopped", wasn't it? I understand that feeling, but if you ask me, who is much older than you, you won by doing this. Especially in the last three years, the world has changed a lot due to the corona crisis. If you don't do what you want when you can, you'll regret it. Miku: I'm sure the fans will accept us... I might be spoiled (laughs). But I myself have a "I'm allowed to go on stage" attitude, so I'm grateful for everything. As you get older, you're more likely to smile when you remember fun events from the past, aren't you?
