Here's something really cool that happened. My cousin brought me a delicious pound of loaf made with delicious cinnamon from her work station since she does work at the bakery. And the Loaf of bread looks really good. So I decided I made sound pound cakes to slice up for me to snack on. Even Goldie and Rosie really love some delicious pound cake too. Since I know they do make some different types of pound cake in New Horizons. And I bet having a loaf of Pound Cake looks really delicious.

this one got my brain working because there's such a massive shift in doflamingo's style after he leaves his family. and judging by the way other wealthy/royal characters dress in one piece, it doesn't seem like he's buying whatever the one piece equivalent of luxury brands are, either. i guess a kinda sad but interesting interpretation that comes to mind is that by dressrosa, his style is really heavily inspired by the way he dressed as a teen on the streets. aspiring to wealth but too distant from it to really Get how to dress "rich," probably stealing a lot of his clothes or buying from pawn shops n shit.
so tl;dr he's reached a point now where he could obviously afford to pick up classier pieces but doesn't, because his current level of flamboyance is his way of showing loyalty to the people who raised him & the (as he sees it, lol) history of adversity he shares with his family.

🍫 a headcanon about food
he doesn't cook but making sure people are healthy and well fed is definitely one of his love languages. to this day he takes a lot of pride in his attempts to take care of rosi when they were little, and so there's this very physical, childish element to the way he loves people. like a little overly concerned with bare physical needs, food and sleep and such.

This is a poster titled, "We Can Do It." It always made me nervous because it didn't specify what we could do. How do I know if I can do it if I don't even know what it is? And even if I could do it, maybe I wouldn't want to. Or I may want to negotiate a better contract before doing it.
To ease my anxiety about being asked to do something unknown, I looked up exactly what this poster meant. I found that it was a World War II poster meant to inspire women to work harder.👩🏼🔧 It was only used in Westinghouse Electric factories producing helmet liners. Since America didn't run out of helmet liners, I guess the workers were inspired. It was never shown to female riveters though, so the recent association of it with "Rosie the Riveter" is unjustified.👩🏼🏭
The poster was made by J. Howard Miller, who made 42 morale inspiring posters for Westinghouse, each being displayed for only two weeks. This one was only displayed in February 1943.
Although it was little seen during the War, it made it to the National Archives with other War posters. In 1982 it was used in a Washington Post Magazine article titled "Poster Art for Patriotism's Sake". Afterwards it re-appropriatd by feminist movements. It was made into a postage stamp in 1999 and has been used in campaigns for some US politicians.
In 1984 a woman named Geraldine Hoff Doyle saw a photo of a woman working a lathe during the War. She had had such a job in 1942 when she was 18, and she assumed it was her. In 1994 she saw the poster on the cover of Smithsonian Magazine and assumed that it had been inspired by the photo. She died in 2010, and the news credited her as having been the model based on no evidence except for her assertions.
Then in 2011, Naomi Parker Fraley saw the photo and recognized it as being her. A professor from Seton Hall University tracked down the original photo and found that it was indeed credited to Naomi.
The artist left no writings identifying the model, but since the photo and poster had now been linked by the press, Naomi is considered to be the most likely model.
Now I'm going to hang this by the pantry to inspire my human mom to give me more cat treats.😼😺

While I went to workout with my mom and my brother, they were remodeling the front desk where they're adding something new including an office, so one of the employees was just doing their job. They especially had to move their work equipment like laptops and stuff like a stand over by the fitness center and had to use an emergency door for something people can get in. Cause Emergency doors are only used in case people need to find the closest fire escape in case there's a fire. So my brother, my mom and myself, we went to workout like usual like doing cardio and lifting weights, then afterwards, went to the store to pick up some cheese and corn along with some snacks to get for my grandfather. Then my brother wanted to get some Takis because those are his favorite snacks since my favorite snacks are like Goldfish, Flaming Hot Chester's Fries, Baked Cheetos, Lays both original and Barbecue Chips and Doritos Nacho Cheese. So we went to Walmart and got the Takis and we also tried to get some cheap snacks like we got Kit Kat Churro Flavor since I do enjoy eating Churros as well as for a Kit Kat bar. After we ordered some snacks from Walmart, we decided to go to McDonald's to grab a quick lunch. So my brother and I got some Chicken Mcnuggets and some fries for lunch. And most importantly, the box says saying it's Grimace's Birthday and they even have cool things you can order during the birthday event. Like the nuggets and the fries and maybe a burger, and also comes with a Grimace theme Shake which I didn't get one, because some people say it might taste like a berry. But I thought it might taste good. But If I were grabbing a dessert from McDonald's I usually stick with getting an ice cream cone or my usual Oreo McFlurry. And for the Grimace Birthday event, I decided I had Goldie and Rosie be part of it too. But man I bet the Ramcats, the Speedsters and the Rabbits might enjoy this event too. I hope we'll still wish McDonald's and Grimace a Happy Birthday.

Spooky Vintage Postcards (in portrait orientation!)
I had a little extra time today, so I found a great tutorial on how to rotate items and tried it out. I didn’t sign up for Simblreen, but here are some treats anyway 😺 I hear some people put a bowl of candy out and leave it there, so I guess it’s like that 😸

To be honest the last line I have written was that smutty word vomit when reading you know what. Since then I think the only thing I’ve written are emails to the most apathetic car salesman I’ve ever known. I want my sunset orange car!!! Also I forgot to tell you, but when you sent me the picture of it, all I could think of was your Christmas tree hunting “Disaster is Served” expansion and Peeta in his ripped jeans trying to tie the tree back on the car, flashing his reindeer boxers at the highway. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You’d always have something to smile about when you drive that car!
