This made me imagine an entire episode of Rowena and Castiel stealing the impala to go on a joyride while they talk shit about the Bros.

Rowena confesses that time she hooked up with Sam when they were chasing Lucifer. Cas only says honest nice things about Dean and their friendship. Rowena then insists on making Cas confess his crush on Dean. Making Cas disclose his numerous hookups with Dean before every apocalypse they fought. And how after everything and everyone was saved, Dean just never talked about it or just brushed it up as impulsive moments that only accentuate the brohood between Dean and him.

Rowena at first laughed and made fun of Cas, because he honestly believed this, and was happy just to have Dean as his friend and close enough to fight the next apocalypse. Eventually, their trip becomes more honest confessions and perspectives about humans and love. Rowena gets angry with Dean for treating Cas this way and never owning their relationship.

So the future queen of hell convinces Cas to go to a gay bar and have some drinks and dance. Then she takes several pictures of Cas with very hot dudes and sends them to Dean with the following message:

 “I have taken your baby for a spin around the block, if you want to recover the thing you love the most, you better say the blue eye sweetie to come to your arms tonight and officially invite him to your bed not only for one night. And then I will consider returning your car. ;)”

Okay, so you know how in one of the original drafts of the first film, Egon and Janine elope in Vegas in a little montage at the end? Well, I was thinking about what would happen if the Cathleen Lives AU was canon, and what her and Egon’s little scene would be, and this was the result.

Set about six weeks after Gozer’s defeat.

Egon tapped his fingers against the wall as he waited outside the bathroom door. Even though nothing was definite yet, he still couldn’t help the disbelief that he was feeling.

But it wasn’t because this was something he didn’t want. He and Cathleen would happily welcome another baby if that was what she wanted, and if her health would allow it.

It was more of a protective disbelief, as if he were building up a wall to keep himself was building too much hope that it would happen.

The road that they had traveled that led them to conceiving Callie had been painful and heartbreaking.

All those nights that made sex more of a chore than actually making love to each other.

The frustration that they had felt, and the resentment that they had feared the other would be feeling for them.

Then, he thought of baby Felicity.

She would be six years old now.

Would she have looked more like him, or like Cathleen?

Would she have been more inclined to science like him, or performing and storytelling like Cathleen, or would she have forged a path completely unique to herself?

He thought of the months after the miscarriage.

How Cathleen had been drowning further and further, exacerbated by her drinking, until she crawled her way back once she was awakened to the pain and suffering that she was causing everyone else, not just herself.

And then, he thought of Callie.

He wondered what kind of a big sister she would be. She had often expressed a wish for a baby brother or sister of her own, especially when it seemed all of her friends from daycare and preschool were becoming older siblings. Not to mention, she was obsessed with babies and anything related to reproduction, but he and Cathleen often wondered if her view of babies was a little romanticized.

The bathroom door opened, and he sprung to full attention as he saw his wife exit, the pregnancy test in her hands.

“So...?” he asked, his voice uncharacteristically quavering with anticipation.

Cathleen held up the pregnancy test, beaming as she indicated the two, bold pink lines on the stick. “We’re having another baby!”

With nothing else on his mind and in his heart but absolute joy that he remembered so well from four years ago, Egon pulled Cathleen into his arms as the two of them laughed with triumph.
