the greenlightv10 hashtag is the most pathetic and transparently meaningless publicity stunt i've ever seen in my life. volume 9 is unironically and genuinely probably one of the most expensive seasons of the show to date and they expect me to think this show was in danger? if anything the only reason v9 had budget problems is because it was severely mismanaged (like every single other rt property over the last 20 years). theres a 2 second long scene in an earlier episode where weiss bats away a fly with the joke being that the horse fly is a rocking horse. you would not see this rocking horse at all unless you paid extra special attention to its model making the joke meaningless. someone had to model and animate all of that. for a stupid 2 second joke. that is not the shit you do when you dont have a budget.

the only reason "rwby has budget problems" even ever started was because of a single tweet from a jr animator who worked at the company for like half a year. this is NOT who we should consider reliable when it comes to company finances, please think for five seconds. RWBY is the single most profitable ip roosterteeth, and by extension warner, has right now. legions of spin offs, an anime, spin offs for the anime, collab cafes, merch. how the fuck are any of you dumb enough to see rvb and campcamp get new seasons and think these absolute flops somehow did well enough to warrant new seasons while rwby cant get its finale. why the fuck would they waste time updating models for characters like raven or taiyang if they dont already have v10 lined up, it'd be a waste of resources and they could update them AFTER v10 got greenlit. insane. youre all insane. i hope roosterteeth miss officer and mr truffles your asses.
