sc!hannah knew there was going to be blood spilled in order to win the game, so instead of sticking with people she know, the people he's familiar with, she keeps them at arms length. She makes new friends, allies, despite that creating tension between her old friends who were enemies with them.

She is vicious, she plays to win, she had to fight, punch, attack with all her might (she can still see the foolish trying to restrain her as she breaks their red eggs, she can still hear tubbo's scream when he does the same, she can still feel her heart breaking when she sees sylvee die in front of her). But she plays to win. She's strong, she knows, she knows she can win this.

Sapnap and George call her out on her hypocrisy. She wants to team with them, they're strong, but she keeps running towards their enemies, asking for their protection. Why can't she just believe? Why can't she just believe in them? They're so mean to her, and she gets it, but she wishes they would be a little bit nicer.

She defends george when he gets stressed at the ninth game, his colorblindness and nervousness getting the best of him. But when they have to separate in pairs, she knows she can't be there. She's not SapnapAndGeorge. There's no room for her there.

The last game starts, she plays as best as she could. She could do this. She could do this. but the path was long and she can feel herself slowing down, she's tired.

She's so tired.

Boom. Stop. Red. She didn't make it in time.

She couldn't make it in time. Her eyes are welling with tears, her knees are frozen in place. She could feel the gun pointed behind her and Sapnap tells her to don't look back, don't look back, eyes on me.

She notices she's surrounded by friends both old and new, in the end.

I guess they weren't so mean after all.

SC vs ND (i think Oregon St could upset ND but i hope not)

Texas v Stanford (i could see nc state potentially upsetting stanford but i think stanford holds on)

Colorado vs UCLA (wvu came sooo close to that golden upset, and so in jaylyn i trust to actually get the job done. UCLA and LSU have both seemed a bit shaky to me so this is a toss-up but no way in hell am i gonna choose milky)

USC vs UConn (of course)

Final Four

SC vs Texas (idk, stanford hasn’t given me a lot of confidence lately but i could be wrong!)

UCLA vs UConn (going with ucla marginally since they swept colorado during the regular szn, and huskies restarting that final four streak plus paige reminding everyone that’s still doubting, why she’s the best. Like i love juju but it’s still paige>>>)

National Championship

SC vs UConn

Champion

I want to say UConn, babes, I do but i just cannot see anyone beating SC rn and us even getting to this point with our (lack of) depth would be a heck of an achievement but beating SC is one too many hail marys i think 😭

Ngl though, i kinda don’t wanna see us lose to SC again in the championship game and so a part of me would actually rather us lose in the final 4 if that was the case 😬 (unless we play iowa or lsu then fuck that i’ll take the loss to sc)

I'm scared to predict at this point cause my brackets was in shambles and lowkey you and I are on the same wavelength with most of these but here we go:

Elite 8:

SC vs ND: SC obviously (and I need them to destroy those zionists) and I think Oregon St. could make something happen but I think after the Naismith "snub" (quotes cause I'm 50-50 on this) Hannah is gonna be on one and Oregon St. doesn't have anyone who can stop her.

Texas vs Stanford: Texas because Gonzaga does nothing for me and Stanford v NC-State is gonna be really interesting, but ultimately I don't see how NC-State stops Cam and Kiki.

Iowa vs UCLA: Listen I think Colorado can beat Iowa. I just don't think they can beat the refs+Iowa+the narrative the networks want. The same honestly could be said for LSU-UCLA because the LSU-Iowa rematch is what the NCAA wanted but I think UCLA can overcome that (as opposed to Colorado) because they're a better team and because LSU has been unimpressive to me

UConn vs USC: Baylor does not impress me at all and well the UConn-Duke matchup *pray pray pray* I'mma shut up about it because I'm not in the mood to jinx things

Final 4:

SC vs Stanford: I think the ND vs SC game will be a lot better than the one in Paris but SC is just too much at the end of the day. And again with Stanford-Texas, I could see it go either way but I just don't see Texas stopping Cam-Kiki both

UCLA vs UConn: UCLA is a better team but again there's a narrative and refs and even despite that as we saw last year, it could still be Iowa, but I still think it's gonna be UCLA. USC vs UConn, Juju vs Paige might cancel out but I'd like to think the rest of the UConn team (if they show up) is better than the USC also just who's gonna guard Aaliyah?

National Championship

SC vs UConn: I do actually have Stanford in my bracket but as you said they're kinda not giving me the greatest vibes and well SC is SC. On the other side though, fuck it, in Paige Bueckers we believe. But also, I think this is a much better team than the one that faced UCLA in November. We were figuring things out and the team's morale was really low, I think we'll be much better. Also never underestimate Cori Close's ability to be outcoached especially if it's Geno of all people. A

Champion: I'm not gonna say it but y'all know what I'm thinking. Does it make sense to pick SC? Yes. If you're a betting person, do that. But me I'm here for vibe so once again, fuck it, in Paige Bueckers we believe!

I'm so happy to be on holidays and finally have been able to start watching this show. Good praise and totally deserved so far.

Quick general thoughts (beginning S2 right now, had Jamie Tart's rep pretend to call and offer him to Real Madrid 😂 and offered a reality show in Ibiza, maybe he can help hunt for SC's Spanish marriage certificate)

- I hate the colours for Richmond cause they are Barcelona's and you know I'm a huge Madridista.

- Great actors. There was a time I couldn't stand Sudeikis, couldn't get his friendship with Aniston but he plays good comedy.

- Annette Badland... wait a sec... I KNOW YOU!!

- Jamie Tart is supposed to be Cristiano Ronaldo ain't he?

okay fine if no one else is gonna sc!hannah angst post i will

she didn’t know she was going to be matched up against her friends. they were supposed to all be a team. it was hard enough during the blackout when they all got separated and after dream died things started falling apart and their group is fracturing and if they could’ve just stayed together things could’ve been okay but instead she’s on a team alone with no one else she knows and has to face off against almost all of her friends. and she’s fighting for her life but her life means her friends deaths. and then she has to watch sylvee die in front of her and nothing is ever going to be the same

What if, at the end of the milk bucket game, a bulletproof glass pane comes down at the end of each losing teams corresponding number? Separating the players and keeping the losers from escaping.

(aka this is me giving a 'reason' as to why Hannah and Suzyroxx couldn't move from their pen and gave it my own flair. Spoilers for day 5 of squidcraft 2)

sc!Hannah being confused when she got back to her teams cow pen. Her going up to it and knocking her knuckles against it, it sounded pretty thick.

And due to it being thick, sound is a little muffled. She couldn't hear her fellow competeters completely but she still gave her ggs. Her and Suzy gave their thoughts on why they couldn't get the buckets acrossed as fast, those things were heavy as fuck. She still got one final laugh out after she asked Aldo and Roier to sing her a song, only for it be some free style rap.

She almost forgot her situation until Sapnap's voice yelled through the glass, clear as day.

"Hannah! Look at me, Hannah! Don't look back!"

Against her better judgement, she looked back. Her heart sank to her stomach once she saw the guard approaching her, assult rifle in hands.

Hannah lets out a cry as she curls up her fists, banging them against the glass. Maybe if she hits hard enough, it will crack. Give leway, something. Seems like Suzy noticed the guard too, as she was also punching against the glass.

But no matter what they did; punching, kicking, throwing their whole body weight against it, the glass didn't budge.

Hannah leaned her body against the glass, winded from using all her energy. This was it, her time was up. Dammit, she wanted to go to the finals, not lose just before it. Now she has to die with a barrier separating her from her friends (Were they still friends at this point?). Reaching over to her right, she grabs Suzy's sweaty hand in a tight grip. Just as strong, Suzy grips hers back.

At least she wont be totally alone.

Hearing a bang against the glass, Hannah looks up to see sc!Sapnap leaning his head against the glass right up against hers, so they were face to face. Sapnap placed his hand palm open on the glass next to his head, and Hannah lifted hers up to place it right over his. She holds back a sob as she does this.

"Look at your friends Hannah! Don't look back, look at your friends, ok?" Sapnap's voice was still clear through the glass. His voice was steady and calm, but it did nothing for her nerves.

Hannah's sobs got loud as she heard the rifle behind her being loaded before the first gunshots rang out. She felt Suzy's grip on her hand loosen as her body fell backward on the ground, the momentum of the fall causing their hands to separate. Blood splattered widely on the glass, but none of the bullets broke through or even cracked the glass. Bulletproof.

Sapnap's voice got more frantic as he saw the gun point towards Hannah, "Keep looking at your friends Hannah! We'll win this for you! You hear me, we'll win this for you!"

Hannah didn't get to respond as she felt the searing pain before she hear the gunshot. Her knees fell underneath her, and she fell down to her side. Her ears were ringing, but she could still hear her friends crying out for her and banging against the glass.

She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as her last breath. Guess they were friends in the end.

objectivly they are crazy about each other, generally they are sympathetic or indifferent to people who die (beside lore) but no when it comes to their boyfriend killer

that's true! sc!George and sc!Sapnap been pretty civil with everyone, but i doubt they'll ever be able to forgive farfadox and elrich for killing their third. that really messed them up. they're still mourning him: "i wish Dream were here"

and like i know it's self-explanatory that, in game, sc!George and sc!Sapnap are gonna prioritize each other over others but it's crazy when it comes up in conversation and no one questions it. like when they were teaming with Hannah or teaming up for hangman. right in front of their teammates Sapnap was saying to George "i think probably three people will survive from each team so i think if you and me are working together and watching each other's backs then we should be good" and nobody ?? pushed back ?? like they just accept that they'll have the short end of the stick ?? snf's duo is that steadfast

sc!sapnap was one of the first to know that sc!farfa and sc!rich lost in hangman.

"Oh my fucking god." He says immediately as he turns the corner. seeing their team still in the ropes.

"You can laugh... a lot." Rich says in a defeated, humiliated voice. Sapnap only looks at him in awe. "Go ahead, please."

He moves towards Farfa who wasn't speaking now.

"Oh," Sapnap decides. "Oh, no, no, no." He could barely hide his glee.

Rich pleads, "Yeah. Yeah, yeah, just do it, bro. Do it!"

"No," Sapnap explains calmly, "I just wanna watch. That's it."

He could hear footsteps, his friends are near, and he knows his sweet sweet moment to himself is almost over.

"Much love." Rich responds in kind. He offers a fist bump.

"Look," Sapnap answers back as he takes the fist bump, "Respect to you guys... Much respect to you guys because I wanted you to die because of how good you are." He smiles as the cries (Hannah), and cheers (George) surround his fallen competitors.

"It was fun." Rich declares.

"We had fun." Sapnap agrees, walking back to let his friends gloat.

Well, lookee there. I have 11 fics on AO3. I'm just going to skip over the poem/song and post the first line of each of the others. They're split between just two fandoms, Penumbra Podcast: Second Citadel and Inn Between podcast. (Disclaimer: on the slight chance this crosses Hannah's feed: Hannah, please don't read, sorry.)

Not sure what is usually done about multi chapter fics, but I'll take from chapter one of each of those.

Going from earliest to latest, from when the fic was posted (when chapter one was posted for the multi chapter ones).

1: Balancing the Scales (SC)-

"The first indication that Arum had that things were not quite right was that Damien’s voice was not the first one he heard through the portal into the Keep. It was rare that either of his two humans brought anyone with them, for obvious reasons. So, the sound of another voice, though far off, already made Arum stiffen and hiss."

2: Habits in Love (SC)-

"If someone were to ask her, Rilla might brush off any inquiries about her temper. When pressed, however, Rilla would probably admit that she was prone to bouts of angry ranting and yelling, taking out her feelings on those around her. Few, though, could get Rilla to say so. Indeed, it was mostly narrowed down to her two loves, with perhaps a handful of others at most, since these were the people who saw Rilla when these moods took her, and did their best to help her through them."

3: The Wizard (IB)-

"Previously, on Inn Between:

¨The Wizard Orune has been terrorizing our land long enough! Adventurers, heroes, I beg of you to save us!¨

¨What do you know about this wizard, Meltyre?¨

¨So, Velune, er. . . According to what I've heard, his specialty is. . . messing with the mind. Mind-reading, so he always knows what you´re about to do, that sort of thing. He is really full of himself, but it makes sense, because he's also really, really powerful.¨

4: The Comfort (IB)-

5: His Humans, Their Monster (SC)-

"The Keep was silent and still, and this frightened Arum.

This was definitely not the I’m-not-talking-to-you-until-you-apologize, Arum lack of communication of any sort that Arum had experienced from the Keep a handful of times. (Not since he was a hatchling, mind you, no matter what his humans said.) It was not even the I’m-sick-and-napping, please-let-me-rest quiet Arum had dealt with a few months prior. This was eerily silent, conspicuously still, and had happened too suddenly to be anything but something very wrong."

6: The Faith (IB)-

"Previously, on Inn Between:

“What? What are you- How did you get in here? Wait, I remember you, you’re-”

“All in good time, wizard. Now, good night.”

“No, what- Guards, somebody! Oh-”

“Right then.”

“What’s this? A note?”

“Lord Sterling Whitetower, I have. . . Meltyre, your friend and Court Wizard to the Throne. . . .”

“Oh, gods. . . oh, gods, no.”

“If you wish to see him. . . alive. . . again, meet me at the location shown here. Tell no one. . . and come alone. If you do not, he dies.”

“Cuthbert, help me.”"

7: The Poet's Dilema (SC)-

"One of the things Damien enjoyed most about his loves- and ah, the plurality of that statement, so new, so strange, so exciting- was when they could spend time together, doing nothing much of import, but simply being together. True, there were countless other things- so many that even a poet such as himself would be hard-pressed for the time or words to express them all. But to Damien, this was high on the list, these small moments that he could count on, that he could treasure, that he could practically write an epic in itself about afterward."

8: A Gift of a Ring (But Not Like That) (IB)-

"Meltyre wasn’t sure when the idea grew, from a wistful hope in the back of his mind to an actual plan. The vague thought that later became the idea, that crossed his mind soon, very soon after Sterling first shared his secret. But when he first resolved to do something about it . . . ."

9: Within These Rooms (IB)-

"It was Sterling’s turn to fetch drinks that night at the inn. When he came back to their usual table with their usual fare, he also came with a strange look on his face, brow furrowed and eyes lost in thought."

10: The Proposal (IB)-
